Muslim in Cabbie Jihad Praised Hitler, “Cleansing” of Jews

By
Surprise, surprise. , the Muslim cabbie in Nashville who tried to murder his customers by running them over, is not just a jihadist, he’s an anti-Semite . . . and a fan of Hitler.
Jim of Menorah Blog sends me the link to this article in the today’s Tennesseean:

A Nashville cabbie made anti-Semitic statements and praised Adolph Hitler’s campaign against Jews during a religious argument that culminated when he ran over one of the passengers as he left the taxi, witnesses said during a hearing today.

The cab driver, Ibrahim Ahmed, said Hitler was “trying to rid the world of Jews,” the alleged victim, Jeremie Imbus, told the court.
“I just remember -(being)- I guess the word is ‘shocked,'” Imbus said of the Feb. 18 incident.

Well, I’m not shocked. Nor should anyone else be. The fact is that Jihad is here. Time to WAKE UP!

Remember the First 9/11

By
Fourteen years ago, today, Al-Qaeda terrorists tried to blow up the World Trade Center for the first time. The World Trade Center Memorial Foundation sent out this note:

On February 26, 1993, the World Trade Center was attacked by terrorists for the first time. At 12:18pm, 1,500 pounds of explosives were detonated in an underground parking garage below 1 WTC. Six people, including a pregnant woman, were killed in the attack and thousands were injured. On this day, the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation remembers each of the victims of the 1993 attacks and extends our condolences to the families of those who were killed and our thoughts to all who were affected.
I hope you will join us today in remembering the innocent lives lost at the World Trade Center fourteen years ago. In tribute, we invite you to read remembrances created by loved ones of the victims:

Click here to read the tributes.
You can also listen to Mike Hurley, former Director of Fire Safety for the World Trade Center, describe his experiences on February 26, 1993:
Click here to listen to Mike Hurley’s podcast.
The World Trade Center Memorial and Museum will tell the stories of each of these victims and the experiences of those who were affected on that day. In doing so, we can honor and remember our history for generations to come.

Whenever President Bush falsely claims there hasn’t been a terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11 (there’s been the Trolley Square Islamic terrorist attack, the LAX attack, the North Carolina Jeep attack, and so many others), remember that Bill Clinton could have said the same thing for his entire Presidency, after February 26, 1993.
It’s not that we’ve stopped them. It’s that they are waiting and planning for the next time. And laughing at how we try to appease their extremist fellow co-religionists as they grow their presence on U.S. soil.

Coming to America: Fantastic Column on Muslim Intolerance & Its Appeasers

By
I’ve said many of these same things before, though not as well and not with these examples. You cannot constantly try to appease Islamist aggressors. It will be your death. We cannot do in America . . . what they did in Israel, bending over backward and forward to our death.
Read Jerusalem Post columnist Sarah Honig’s excellent column on this concept. It should serve as a clarion call for us, here, in America.
It’s not just coming to America soon. It’s already here.

Again?!: More “Pirate” Euphemisms for Muslim Terrorists

By
Remember when I wrote ( AND ) about the latest euphemism for Muslim terrorists hijacking ships around Somalia?
Well, the Muslims, complete with AK-47s, are at it again–hijacking UN cargo ships delivering (largely U.S. funded) food aid. And the media is at it again, too–once again referring to these individuals as “pirates.”
Guess they forgot that many of the original “pirates”–say back in the 1700s–were Berber Muslim terrorists, too. The original Muslim terrorists.
“Militants.” “Pirates.” Whatever. Time to call a spade, a spade. They are Islamic terrorists.

“Revenge of the Non-Nerds”: The Sorority & The Evictions

By
All of the women’s talk shows in America–and The New York Times–are up in arms that Delta Zeta sorority evicted its ugly and overweight members from the chapter at Indiana’s DePauw University. Ditto for the minorities. The DZ national office said the group was having problems recruiting new members.
I’m all against kicking out the minorities for the sake of being minorities. But as far as kicking out the looks-challeged members, well what did they think being in a sorority was all about? That’s exactly what it’s about. It’s a silly club with silly songs, hazing, and exorbitant fees–all based on looks. That’s how they pick people.
If you want to be a part of that kind of shallow club that admits you based on how you look, don’t be surprised at their shallowness, when they kick you out for the same reason.
Quit whining. That’s life in the campus “Greek” system, and many other places in society. Didn’t they see “Revenge of the Nerds“?

Well Past Time, But New TSA Screening of Airport Workers Restricted to Atlanta

By
For some odd reason, it has taken the TSA 5.5 years since 9/11 to start randomly searching airport workers, but it’s starting today.
Why did it take so long? Well, to do so right away would upset the illogical logic that is the dominant thought process at the TSA, Homeland Security, and every other giant federal bureaucracy pretending to protect us.
And in the vein of that illogical logic, the TSA random searches of airport employees are restricted to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
The TSA promises to expand the program to the nations other 450 airports. But don’t hold your breath. Given the glacial movement of TSA and its larger agency, DHS, it could be another 5.5 years and more attempted hijackings/dry runs (or who knows what else) until that happens.

The fact is, right after 9/11, the Detroit terror cell was discovered. And, conveniently, its members worked for SkyChef, with full access to planes and passengers at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. That we didn’t immediately take the hint and start the random searches then, is a big hint we’re as unsafe as we were before 9/11.
More evidence: While a Detroit terror cell member was out on bail, he went right back to the Detroit airport to work for Edie’s Ice Cream.

Dog Gives Life to Save Man From Black Bear Attack

By
A dog truly is man’s best friend:

CATARACT, Wis. (AP) — Jason Schindler says he wouldn’t be alive if it were not for his dog, Dude.
The 27-year-old rural Cataract man said the 8-year-old mixed-breed hound jumped between him and an attacking black bear Thursday night, saving his life but giving up his own.
The animal sustained at least 28 puncture wounds to his chest and neck, he said. . . .
He said he heard the dog yelping loudly Thursday after dark and went out to see what was happening.
Suddenly, “all I saw was this dark thing lunging at me,” Schindler said.

Preferred Pet of

But his dog jumped between the two and was quickly snatched up in the bear’s jaw, he said.
“If not for the dog, I wouldn’t be standing here,” Schindler said.
The bear, estimated at being between 400 and 500 pounds, dragged the dog to his nearby den under a thicket of downed trees. . . .
“In a way he was a miracle dog.”

Democrats’ Congress: Same Old Abramoff-esque Travel, Gifts

By
Remember Democrats’–and Republicans’–in Congress claiming they’d put an end to the Jack Abramoff days of free trips golfing in Scotland and free expensive dinnes at fancy restaurants.
Well, predictably, Nancy Pelosi’s Congress is no different from Dennis Hastert’s. And it’s the same old free trips and dinners, etc.
Today’s USA Today has two stories (here and here) about how Congressmmen/women are going on junkets all over the world. The change in House rules requires only that the trip be paid for by an organization that doesn’t hire lobbyists. But that’s not change from the Abramoff days, when he used non-profit, non-lobbyist groups like the National Center for Public Policy Research to pay for the tab.

(Artwork from Lobbyists & Their Influence on America Blog)

More:

One weekend in January, a dozen House members gathered at a luxury Miami hotel to learn more about health care issues.
The lawmakers assembled at the Mandarin Oriental, which boasts Biscayne Bay views and rooms starting at $469 a night. The trip, sponsored by the non-profit Alliance for Health Reform, is among the travel allowed under ethics rules that go into effect Thursday.
In passing the rules, intended to cut ties between lawmakers and lobbyists, top Democrats led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also agreed to exemptions that allow House members to continue taking trips to destinations such as Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Miami trip – along with a gathering in San Juan last week sponsored by the Aspen Institute, a non-profit think tank – is allowed under an exemption that permits organizations that don’t employ lobbyists to pick up the tab. Another exemption allows trips paid for by lobbyists and their employers as along as the trips last no more than two nights.
Since the House rules leave campaign-finance laws untouched, lobbyists and members of Congress also can spend days together on golfing and ski trips paid for by a third party, generally a political fundraising committee established by a lawmaker. Lobbyists can then write checks in support of lawmakers’ fundraising committees.

I wrote about this . As far as free dinners, free “The Who” concerts, etc., The New York Times exposed the fact that Congressmen like have gotten around that, too. The rules only require that a check be written to cover the cost (plus a whole lot extra) to their PACs and campaign committees.
The more things change, the more corruption stays the same.
All of you who voted for a Democratic Congress, hoping to change all of that, you’ve been had.

Farrakhan’s Final Call: Defends Iran; Celebs Help Louis X

By
Write off these celebs who were either in attendance at racist loon Louis Farrakhan’s Detroit confab–or otherwise showed their support to him. From The Detroit Newsistan:

As he spoke, the huge screens in the stadium that projected live images during the speech filled with the face of U.S. Rep. John Conyers, D-Detroit, as he sat listening and smiling. Conyers once said he would work to impeach Bush, but has since drawn back from that position. He was not available after the speech. [DS: Well, we already knew Conyers was a racist nutjob, so no surprise there.] . . .

Racist Farrakhan’s Friends: Ice Cube, Anita Baker . . .

Anita Baker, the Detroit-native and Grammy Award-winning singer, performed the black national anthem before the speech, and speakers from various religious and ethnic groups welcomed Farrakhan. Also on the stage were hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons; Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his mother; U.S. Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, D-Detroit; and Joe Shirley Jr., president of the Navajo Nation.
Before the speech, the Nation of Islam announced significant donations, including $100,000 from former professional basketball player Larry Johnson, $40,000 from Simmons, $20,000 from the recording artist Ice Cube and $10,000 from the recording artists Wu-Tang Clan.
“I have grown up loving and appreciating all of the work the Nation of Islam has done in our communities,” Simmons said. “I think it very critical that when we leave here today we embrace the oneness of God. This is a great teacher — the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.”

. . . Russell Simmons, Larry Johnson

Well, Simmons is no surprise, either. A few years ago, I wrote about , in The Jerusalem Post. But Anita Baker–singing a separatist “Black national anthem”? Huh? What the heck is that?
Then, there are Farrakhan’s absurd comments, not just the call for a Bush impeachment, but his defense of Iran attaining nuclear capability, and his absurd claim that Shi’ites and Sunnis lived peacefully together. Uh-huh:

Farrakhan contended that, before the U.S.-led invasion, “Shi’ite and Sunni lived together” peacefully in Iraq with “no bombings of holy places … but it’s happening now” because of U.S. intervention.

Living under Saddam and his dumping Shi’ites into wood-chippers wasn’t exactly “peaceful.” But when I saw him speak in Detroit in 1998, he told the audience that the Iraqi people “love” Saddam Hussein. Right.

Farrakhan, who has long associated with controversial Muslim heads of state, also defended Iran’s nuclear energy program.
“Iran has the right” to develop nuclear energy, he said. “You cannot deny Iran access to knowledge.”

The Final Call couldn’t have come soon enough.

America’s Attack on Males: Why Are Boys Struggling in School?

By
I’ve written plenty of posts aobut the declining percentages of male students in college. That’s old news now. Only 43% of college students are men, according to the Census, and that figure continues to decline.
It’s kind of obvious why. Women are pushed to succeed–with discriminatory, sexist scholarships, affirmative action, and any number of other programs deeming them an “under-represented” minority, when with 57% of the student body, they are anything but. Then, there are the cultural attacks on men and boys throughout the media, entertainment, and every other arena.
So what do teachers and sociologists do? Well, if you’re Ron Mason, chairman of Wichita State University’s sociology department, you produce a silly study, saying the decline of men in school and college is due to “not enough household chores” for boys.

Come on. Doing work traditionally associated with women never made men achieve more. And it has nothing to do with society’s attack on males in America.
An article in the Wichita Eagle cites that absurdity. But it also features some other factors that are more likely causes–in addition to the affirmative action push for women–the decline of hard work and increasing softness pushed upon males in America (ie., the feminization of America’s boys):

The baseball coach at Wichita State, Gene Stephenson, says he has watched a generational drop-off in passion for life, knowledge, self-sacrifice and work, let alone for ball. . . .
“I’m really disappointed in how they no longer have the zest, not just for baseball but for knowledge, and for the joys that come when you take responsibility and learn to do something really well,” he said.
His Shockers won a national championship in 1989. He said his 2007 players do not want to work as hard as those champions.
“You realize… I’m recruiting the cream of the crop. Wonderful guys. But they don’t have the work ethic or consistent performance or the tolerance for pain that guys used to have.”

It’s difficult to have the zest for life and hard work, when you are being told that scholarships are not open to you and you are not the “preferred” minority merely because of your sex organs and internal plumbing.
Just ask agents at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), where many inexperienced women are getting affirmative action extraordinaire into cush positions, merely because of their gender. Experienced, more qualified male agents are being passed over, under the “leadership” of ICE chieftess and ICE Director of Investigations
An interesting read: “Are We Losing Our Boys?”
