Dumb Editorial Column of the Day

By
Yet another reason why the USA Today op-ed page is completely irrelevant. And dumb:
Today’s USA Today op-ed page has a column by Lionel Beehner of the lefty Council on Foreign Relations with this absurd headline:

A Bush-Ahmadinejad Debate? Why Not?

Anyone who needs to ask this question is a complete moron. It’s a headline more suited for The Onion. This is not a Coke-Pepsi taste test, in which both commodities are equal.
We’re lucky Beehner and McPaper weren’t around for this op-ed:

A Roosevelt/Truman-Hitler Debate? Why Not?

Among other stupidities encapsulated in the Beehner op-ed, is his anger that President Bush is ignoring “the Iranian leader’s quirky blog.”
Quirky? The guy is a madman loon who could annihilate the world. And he calls him “quirky”?!
Which leads us to the op-ed we would write:

A Council on Foreign Relations? Why?

The only good thing ever to grace the USA Today op-ed page is our friend, Cal Thomas. Other than that, it is pure birdcage liner.

Yesterday’s Version of Islamofascist: Deported Nazi Guard Was Such a “Nice, Sweet Lady”

By
Question: How do you know when the new Nazism is here?
Answer: When the old Nazis get our sympathy . . . or rather, the mainstream press’ sympathy.
Check out this L.A. Times article about Efriede Lina Rinkel, a Nazi S.S. Guard, who was just deported from the U.S. It gives new meaning to the phrase “Sympathy for the Devil.”
Rinkel, a guard at Camp Ravensbruck Concentration Camp, used a trained attack dog against the women there–10,000 of whom were murdered by Rinkel and the other Nazis present in the year that she worked there (92,000 total murdered there). They were gassed, tortured, and worked to death, and others were murdered through Nazi “medical experiments.” She volunteered for the job because it paid more than her factory work. America should not have deported her. We should have executed her. Instead, she was given until September 30th to leave, and the government will allow her to be buried on U.S. soil.

Nazi S.S. Guard Efriede Lina Rinkel

Unfortunately for us and fortunately for her, already 83 years old, she lived a full life in America, with a Jewish husband to whom she lied about her Nazi past. And now she gets to enjoy the rest of it somewhere else, laughing all the way while she lives out the rest of her life in G-d’s waiting room.
That’s bad enough.
Worse is the sympathy the L.A. Times tries to elicit from us for this active cog in the Nazi death machine. Start with the headline:

“Nice, Sweet Lady,” 83, Deported for Nazi Past

Hello? . . . She was a NAZI! We can’t wait for the headline that reads:

“Nice, Generous Man,” 6’4″ Bin Laden, Executed for Islamic Past

Instead of a focus on her vicious crimes against humanity, the L.A. Times first focuses on her looks:

a girl with blue eyes and striking red hair.

Incredible. What difference does it make what she looked like, if she helped murder 10,000 innocent people? If Christie Brinkley murders 10,000, will it be okay because she’s beautiful?
Then, the Times focuses on the Harlequin Romance between this hardened Nazi and her Jewish husband, a relationship based solely on fraud:

She lived alone in a tiny, top-floor apartment in one of the tougher sections of San Francisco. At 83, she was short and a bit stout. Diabetes took the sight in one of her eyes; arthritis left her leaning heavily on a cane. For long trips, she took a taxi.
Her husband had died. He was the love of her long life, a short, dapper man who had worked as a bartender and waiter at some of the city’s larger hotels and was active in Jewish activities. They buried him in a Jewish cemetery outside the city. . . .
On Tuesday, the Justice Department announced that the woman with the pleasant smile and the German accent had been deported to Germany. She admitted that she had lied on her U.S. visa application.
Her lawyer, Alison Dixon, said she never told Fred, her husband. Not during their romance after the war, on their wedding night in Germany, or their voyage to a new life in America. Always, she kept quiet.
“He did not know,” the lawyer said, “because all these years she was totally embarrassed.” [DS: Ya think?!] . . .
The government caught up with a woman in the dusk of her life who expected perhaps soon to quietly join her husband in the Eternal Home Cemetery in Colma, south of the city. The double gravestone was already there, with the Star of David above their names.

Why is any of this relevant to the fact that this woman is a Nazi conspirator in the murder of 10,000 at a concentration camp?
And why is it relevant whether or not she is nice? We don’t know but the L.A. Times felt is was so important, that they apparently asked Justice Dept. Official Eli M. Rosenbaum (who heads the Office of Special Investigations):

But wait, but wait, wasn’t she a pleasant and king, old and tired lady?

A question like that from the Times reporter is apparent in this:

He [Rosenbaum of the Justice Dept.] agreed that she appeared pleasant and kind, old and tired.

So, what? Many of her victims might have appeared “pleasant and kind, old and tired,” if they weren’t already dead decades ago, with her help.

She admitted being assigned to the camp, explaining that she had a less desirable job as a factory worker and volunteered to be a dog handler at the camp for better wages.
But she insisted she never used her dog as a weapon against the prisoners, never forced them into marches every morning to work or to die. She said she never joined the Nazi Party, just did its bidding.

Uh-huh. Same fricking difference. (I didn’t actually join Al-Qaeda. I just blew up people.)
Then, there’s her annoying liar, er . . . lawyer:

Dixon, her San Francisco lawyer, explained that it was all just too long ago. She said her client had tried to remake her life and never thought she would be tripped up so late in her years.
“She was trying to atone for actions in the past,” said Dixon. “She married a Jewish man, and she gave to Jewish charities.”

Sounds like, Some of my best friends are Black.

“And she always believed there was a certain coercion involved in what she did at the camp. She insisted that she had zero contact with the actual prisoners, that she just walked the camp perimeter.”

Uh-huh. Don’t blame me, I just worked there.
Then, there’s Gene Kaufman, director of the Sinai Memorial Chapel, where she and her husband had plots.

“She was just such a pleasant-looking lady and very small. Such a nice, sweet lady who seemed to have a very loving relationship with her husband.”

Disgusting. This guy is like those people who live next door to ax murders and serial killers: But he was such a nice man.
Ditto for neighbor Gunvant Shah.

At the apartment building on Bush Street, Gunvant Shah, who met the Rinkels in 1976, described a couple that sang German songs late at night, danced together and sometimes fought loudly, prompting complaints from neighbors.
They lived “a modest life,” Shah said, with no car, but often strolled together in the evenings, dressed elegantly. “Mr. Rinkel would hold her by the arm. They would walk together, proud and joyful.”

Imagine if this was an Islamic terrorist. No need to imagine, because that’s exactly the same way their neighbors, the press, and everyone else does react.
Sympathy for the Devil will be the death of us.

What Do Venezuelan Loon Hugo Chavez & Supermodel Elle MacPherson Have in Common?

By
They both love to read wacko, far-lefty, pan-Islamist, America-hating “linguist” and academic Noam Chomsky.
Yes, that’s right. Previously, we wrote about how and that she enjoys reading his work and watching a documentary about him. She said she liked his book “Hegemony or Survival: America’s Quest for Global Dominance (The American Empire Project).” The woman is as clueless and stupid as she is beautiful.
Now, kook Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez is touting Chavez, too–pimping the same book–Chomsky’s “Hegemony or Survival”–at the U.N during his obnoxious speech there, this morning.

3 Anti-American Stooges: Elle MacPherson, Noam Chomsky, Hugo Chavez

That says a lot about Chomsky–a nut whose most prominent readers are an airhead and a kook.
Drudge calls it the Chavez Book Club. We call it the Granola Book Club. Fruits. Nuts. And Flakes.
Remember that, the next time you see MacPherson’s bod in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Nice house, no-one’s home.

Cornucopia of Ahmadinejad: Is Iran’s Loony Prez a Shrimpy Metrosexual? Int’l Whores for Mahmoud

By
Besides his madness, his anti-Semitism, his hatred of America, and his desire to hurriedly bring on doomsday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has a huge ego. And he’s short. And he’s also a metrosexual.
In an exclusive TIME Magazine interview with Ahmadinejad–ominously titled “A Date With a Dangerous Mind”–we learn about Mahmoud the Madman’s love for clothes and the way he looks. He even has a name for his favorite “trademark” jacket. We also learn that at only 5’4″, the diminutive one may have a Napoleon’s complex:

He is wearing blue-gray trousers, black loafers and the trademark tan jacket that even he calls his “Ahmadinejad jacket.” He mutters something to himself as he settles into an aging leather chair with bad springs. For a moment, he seems irked by the chair, perhaps because it makes him seem even smaller than his 5 ft. 4 in., but soon he’s smiling, prodding, leaning forward to make his points.

Apparently, no-one in America told him that the “Ahmadinejad jacket” is generally referred to here as a “Members Only Jacket” and that he’s the last member (thanks to Gwyneth Paltrow’s character in “Shallow Hal” for that one). We also learn, not surprisingly, that the man is just plain in love with himself:

Over the course of the 45-minute interview, he was serious, smiling and cocky–evidence of a self-assurance that borders on arrogance. His brown eyes locked onto mine when he made a point about Iran’s nuclear program. His rhetoric was measured, but he was adamant on the issues that have made him so controversial.

Here’s the “Debbie’s Notes” (sorry, Cliff) version of the interview with Mahmoud the Mad:
* More Holocaust denial, more anti-Semitism, and support for the Palestinians;
* George Bush needs to change his behavior, not me;
* Christians act unChristian, “Death to America” doesn’t really mean “Death to America,” various unbelievable definitions of what it really means;
* I’m against nukes. I just make them for a hobby in my free time;
* I didn’t need to visit the WTC site–I saw it on TV. Translation: Who cares about those dead Americans? It’s a start.
As he left the interview, we learned that Aikenized, Seacrested, Manilowed (oops!–evil Zionist singer alert) girlie-man Ahmadinejad is still worried about his clothes and still in love with himself:

Ahmadinejad bolted from the room, swapped his jacket for a suit coat and climbed into a Mercedes. As the car pulled away, he sat in the back with an aide, smiled one more time and threw us a final wave.

It’s good to be King. Or dictator elected President in a fake election in an Islamic Republic with nukes.
On another Ahmadinejad note, today’s Wall Street Journal reports that France, Germany, Russia, and China don’t want sanctions against Iran because they are doing a lot of business with the Iranians. China sells them trucks, Russia sells them cars built by France’s Peugeot-Citroen. Not in the article is the belief that (and gain the release of a German chick who moved to Iraq and became a Muslimah).
These countries are a bunch of whores. Plain and simple. Once again, we Americans are on our own. On 9/11, they attacked us. No-one else. And we will have to fight this war against Islamic terror and extremists on our own.
Don’t ever forget that this is the man we are dealing with . . . and to whom they are whoring themselves out:

Quote of the Day: “Classy” Hawaiian Tropic Zone Restaurant

By
Today’s Wall Street Journal has an interesting piece about the bikini-wearing waitresses parading on the runway during meals at New York City’s new Hawaiian Tropic Zone–and whether the restaurant can attract female customers.
That’s nothing new. It’s kind of like sleazy Hooters and the guys who “go there for the great buffalo wings” (and read Playboy for the articles).
What’s new is this delusional quote by CEO Dennis Riese about why he has no plans to introduced bare-chested male waiters for the female patrons he says he hopes to attract:

It would take away from the class of the restaurant. It would be more about sex and less about food and ambience.

Classy to You?:

New Hawaiian Tropic Zone Restaurant Claims It’s All About the Food

Right. Because, when you think of “class” restaurants in New York, you don’t think of Le Cirq or Jean George. Nope. You think of Hooters and the Hawaiian Tropic Zone. The epitome of class is strippers one step removed, serving you your food. Would you like fries, er . . . disinfectant with that?
Yup, bikini-clad waitresses are all about the food and all about being “female friendly.” And, as we said, people who eat there read Playboy “for the articles.”
Then, there’s Riese’s claim that his restaurant will be “sophisticated . . . more than just an ‘upscale Hooters.'” Upscale Hooters? Isn’t that an oxymoron–kinda like boiling hot ice cubes? Just asking.
Remember, a restaurant named after a suntan lotion and a bikini contest judged by Fabio is never sophisticated or classy. Period. There are a lot of things we’d call it. “Classy” isn’t one of them.

Michigan GOP Uses Terror Supporter’s Building for Campaign HQ; New GOP Holiday . . . Ramadan

By
Unfortunately, at Ground Zero for Islamist America, Michigan, the GOP is as much in bed with extremist Muslims as the Dems are.
The Michigan Republican Party, especially in wealthy suburban Detroit Oakland County, panders to extremist Muslims like Yahya Basha a/k/a Yahya Mossa Basha a/k/a Y. Mossa Basha (and many other variations he uses), a Syrian doctor who proudly supports Islamic terror groups. He is involved with so many Islamic organizations that have shut down due to terrorism involvement, it’s hard to keep track. He was the national leader, for example, of the American Muslim Council, now defunct becuase its founder and executive director rots in jail for financing HAMAS terrorists and plotting to murder Saudi then-Crown Prince (and now King) Abdullah. More on . Read the FDA letter citing him for shoddy mammograms.
Hard to Tell: Is it “Michigan” Republicans or Extremist . . .

The Oakland County Republicans–under the “leadership” of Islamopanderer Paul Welday–used Dr. Basha’s office space to run the Bush re-election campaign and the Oakland County Republican Victory Center. It matters not a whit that Basha is an open, unabashed supporter of HAMAS, Hezbollah, etc., etc., etc. He’s a “Republican” and has a lot of money. And that’s all that counts when you are part of the congenital GOP with no conscience.

Yahya Basha: Michigan GOP’s Islamofascist, Terror-Supporting Benefactor

This year, according to Welday’s crony, Oakland County Republican official, Christopher Cummins, they are using the Basha Building, yet again. And Michigan Republican Gubernatorial candidate Dick DeVos has his Detroit area headquarters in the Basha Center for the Support of Terrorism. Thank Oakland County Republican Chairman Dennis Cowan for that.
We note that Cummins also sent out a list of important Republican events, with an interesting new Republican holiday we’d never new existed in the GOP (the e-mail has been shortened for extreme gobbledygook violations):

Of course, no-one accuses this guy, Chris Cummins, of being a “conservative” Republican. Far from it, he has physically shaken conservative activists within the party. And he told one of them, that he (Cummins) would “pee” on his head.
Islamofascism, physical assault, and juvenile, classless threats about bodily functions. That’s the Republican Party at Ground Zero of Islamofascist America.

HOprah Watch: Out of Touch Oprah’s 1st Time in a Non-Limo

By
Yet more evidence that Oprah Winfrey, HRHSBoTU (Her Royal Highness, Supreme Being of the Universe), is completely out of touch with mainstream America:
Yesterday, she and her “best friend” Gayle King went on a road trip across America in–shock of all shockers!–a car. And, even more shocking, Oprah actually had to drive. HRHSBoTU announced that this was her first time in a non-chauffeur-driven limo in years, her first time actually driving a car like the rest of us cattle from America’s coach section. The chick could barely figure out how to pump gas. Video here. (Thanks to Sticky Notes for the tip on the video.) Suffering for Oprah = driving and/or riding in a normal car.

(Islamofascist Oprah by Preston Taylor Holmes/Six Meat Buffet)

Yes, your wife, girlfriend, daughter, gay male friend, and wimpy, metrosexual stay-at-home Mr. Mom husband are all taking their advice and “lifestyle instruction” on “how to be your best self” on a daily basis from a woman who does NOT drive a car and only rides in limos.
And they made fun of President George H.W. Bush for being amazed by a check-out lane scanner?! He’s got nothin’ on HOprah when it comes to being out of touch with America.
Don’t forget why Oprah Sucks.

“Religion of Peace”: 1 of Sickest Honor Killing to Date

By
And they are attacking the Pope?! More evidence that he was right:
Today’s Daily Mail details one of the sickest honor killings we’ve seen to date–the deliberate burning to death of a six-year-old girl to get back at her 12-year-old brother over a relationship he had.
More:

A six-year-old girl was killed in an arson attack on her family home by men who disapproved of a relationship her older brother was having with a teenager, a court heard today.
Alisha Begum, the youngest of 12 children in her Bangladeshi family, became the innocent victim of an attempt to warn her sibling off seeing the 15-year-old when a blaze swept through her Birmingham home earlier this year, prosecutors said.
Two men went on trial today at Birmingham Crown Court accused of her murder and the attempted murder of nine of her relatives who escaped from the property in Bayswater Road, Aston, during the fire.
Hussain Ahmed, a 26-year-old dentist, and Daryll Tuzzio, 18, both from Birmingham, deny all the charges, including an additional count of arson with intent to endanger life.
Opening the case, Adrian Redgrave, prosecuting, said: “One hears of so-called honour killings though one may wonder how by any stretch of the imagination there can be any honour in what happened here, resulting in the death of a six-year-old child.”
The jury heard that Alisha’s brother Abdul Hamid, 21, started a relationship with Ahmed’s 15-year-old sister Meherun Khanum towards the end of last year.
Mr Redgrave said their relationship was discovered by her family, who disapproved. Twenty-four hours before the fatal fire, the prosecution said Mr Hamid received a threatening phone call from a man who warned him: “Don’t f*** with my sister or I’ll break your b******s.”
Shortly before midnight on March 10, Mr Redgrave said a masked figure burst through the front door of the family home and sprayed petrol in the hallway before lighting a match.
The blaze spread up the stairs and took hold so quickly that family members, some of whom had been asleep, were forced to jump out of an upstairs window, he said.
Alisha, who was in her bunk bed at the time, did not escape. She was discovered by firefighters who searched the property and died at Birmingham Children’s Hospital the following day. Mr Redgrave described the attack as “an act of pure wickedness”.
He said: “The reason for the setting fire to this house containing that family was clearly, we submit, to get at Abdul Hamid because he had formed this unauthorised relationship with the sister of the first accused (Ahmed).”

Why aren’t there riots about this? Why are there constant honor killings performed by jihadists that prove the Pope right? And where are CAIR and women’s rights groups?
Predictably silent.
