Bassem Abulhassan: Ohio Cellphone Suspect’s Brother Cheers 9/11 Murders of Americans

By
****UPDATE: Confirmed that Bassem Abulhassan is the brother of Dearbornistan suspect Osama Abulhassan. He apparently also just took the Michigan Bar and is a lawyer. Thrilling. ****
Bassem Abulhassan, brother of Dearbornistan/Ohio TracFone suspect (and liar) , is very happy Americans were murdered in the 9/11 attacks. That’s the way they gloat, apparently, when they temporarily get away with an apparent terror plot.
Here’s an e-mail Mr. Abulhassan sent me, last night, regarding my cousin, Jon Schlissel, who was murdered in the :

By the way, how is your cousin Jon doing these days? Ouch. Did I hit a sore spot. Welcome to our lives . . . . Our research on you has begun. Until we meet again…….

Dearbornistan Mass TracFone Buyer/Liar & Palestinian Woman in Ramallah: His Family & She Cheer 9/11 Murders of Americans

Bassem Abulhassan, we will NEVER be meeting. Do I need to get a restraining order? We note that Mr. Abulhassan played in a Michigan chess league. But he is very active on an extremist Shia Islam chat site (here and here). And, as his e-mail shows, all the chess in the world won’t civilize this barbarian.
First, and tells the Detroit Free Press that Bin Laden is “fighting for a cause” and only “appears” to be a bad guy. And now, his brother cheers the deaths of Americans in the 9/11 attacks. Great family of terror sympathizers.
Barbarians at the gate? Nope, they’re already here, inside the gate.

3 Cheers for Lord Stevens: Former London Police Chief on Muslims

By
Lord John Stevens, the recently-retired Metropolitan Police Chief of London/Scotland Yard Chief, is my new hero. Here’s his common sense approach to Muslims in Great Britain (Michael Chertoff, U.S. Attorney , and , take note of what a REAL man–and REAL law enforcement–is like):

IF YOU’RE A MUSLIM – IT’S YOUR PROBLEM
WHEN will the Muslims of Britain stand up to be counted?
When will they declare, loud and clear, with no qualifications or quibbles about Britain’s foreign policy, that Islamic terrorism is WRONG?

Most of all, when will the Muslim community in this country accept an absolute, undeniable, total truth: that Islamic terrorism is THEIR problem? THEY own it. And it is THEIR duty to face it and eradicate it.
To stop the denial, endless fudging and constant wailing that somehow it is everyone else’s problem and, if Islamic terrorism exists at all, they are somehow the main victims.
Because until that happens the problem will never be resolved. And there will be more 7/7s and, sometime in the future, another airplane plot will succeed with horrific loss of innocent life.
Equally important, those British politicians who have seemed obsessed with pandering to, and even encouraging, this state of denial, must throw off their politically-correct blinkers and recognise the same truth–that Muslim terrorism in Britain is the direct responsibility of British Muslims.
If only they would follow the lead of Home Secretary John Reid, whose tough, pragmatic, clear-sighted approach has been a breath of fresh air. Only then can they properly work out how to tackle it.
For instance, every airport in Britain is in chaos over the plane bomb-plot alert as every passenger is subjected to rigorous security checks. Why? They take lots of time, lots of staff, and are extremely expensive.
I’m a white 62-year-old 6ft 4ins suit-wearing ex-cop–I fly often, but do I really fit the profile of suicide bomber? Does the young mum with three tots? The gay couple, the rugby team, the middle-aged businessman?
No. But they are all getting exactly the same amount and devouring huge resources for no logical reason whatsoever. Yet the truth is Islamic terrorism in the West has been universally carried out by young Muslim men, usually of ethnic appearance, almost always travelling alone or in very small groups. A tiny percentage, I bet, of those delayed today have such characteristics.
This targeting of airport resources is called passenger profiling‚Äîthe Israelis invented it and they’ve got probably the safest airports and airlines in the world.
In all my years at the front line of fighting terrorism, one truth was always clear–communities beat terrorists, not governments or security forces. But communities can’t beat terrorism unless they have the will to do so. My heart sank this week as I saw and read the knee-jerk reaction of friends and neighbours of those arrested in this latest incident, insisting it was all a mistake and the anti-terrorist squad had the wrong people.
I have no idea whether those arrested are guilty or not. But neither have those friends and neighbours. They spoke as if it was inconceivable such a thing could happen in their community; that those arrested were all good Muslims; that Islam is a religion of peace so no Muslim could dream of planning such an act. . . .
Blasting a passenger airliner out of the sky, killing hundreds of innocent men, women and children, is NEVER acceptable. Under any circumstances. There is NEVER an excuse.
A terrible tragedy costing Muslim lives in Lebanon or Iraq or Afghanistan is never ever an excuse for terrorism here.
It is totally unacceptable, totally wrong. What one party perceives as a wrong, no matter how strongly they feel, does not, in turn, justify another wrong being done to avenge it.
And until every single member of the Muslim community believes that and preaches that–from an ordinary parent to imam or madrassa teacher–terrorism can’t be beaten. . . .
This must be combined with improved border controls, logging exactly who goes OUT of the country as well as who comes in should also be reconsidered, whatever the politically correct among us may say. . . .
Plainly, Muslim terrorism isn’t going away. We need to consider everything in our battle to defeat it. But that’s the responsibility of all.
Not least the community where, sadly for them, it is festering.

Three cheers for “The Stevens Plan.”
Thankfully, there are many members of law enforcement in America who agree with Lord Stevens. Unfortunately, they’re not the ones running the show.
Thanks to reader David T. for the tip.

Don’t Fund Red Cross: Comittee Aided Hezbollah; Would Aid Al-Qaeda, Too

By
Our friend and top Israeli investigative reporter, Michael Freund, has an incredible article in today’s Jerusalem Post that tells you why you should NOT give to the Red Cross.
The organization not only healed Hezbollah fighters, but it helped them cross the Litani Bridge.
Here are more details:

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) provided medical care to Hizbullah terrorists wounded while fighting against Israel, the Jerusalem Post has learned.

Donating to American Red Cross Means Donating To Hezbollah

“The moment a Hizbullah fighter is injured, he is considered a non-combatant, so we must take care of him,” ICRC spokeswoman Carla Haddad told The Jerusalem Post by phone from Geneva. . . .
Haddad confirmed that ICRC personnel in southern Lebanon, working together with members of the Lebanese Red Cross, had offered medical assistance and other unspecified forms of relief to Hizbullah members hurt on the battlefield.
The Post contacted the ICRC after a photograph appeared in Thursday’s New York Times depicting Red Cross workers assisting wounded members of Hizbullah to cross a makeshift bridge over the Litani River. . . .
Asked if the ICRC would assist wounded Hizbullah fighters even if it meant they would then be able to return immediately to the battle or continue firing rockets at Israel, Haddad replied, “There is nothing wrong with assisting the war wounded.”
Pressed to clarify if the organization would also provide aid to al-Qaida members wounded in clashes with US troops in Afghanistan, she momentarily hesitated before saying, “Yes, of course. We would assist non-combatants on both sides.”

So, why does this have to do with aid to the American Red Cross? A LOT. As Michael Freund points out:

The American Red Cross, Miller said, has thus far sent $500,000 to the ICRC for relief activities in Lebanon and an additional $80,000 has been raised.

Don’t give to the Red Cross, unless you want to give to Hezbollah.
And don’t forget how the International Red Cross treated true non-combatants–concentration camp inmates under the Nazis, including millions of Jews. So nice, that concentration camp victims weren’t worthy of this “neutral” organization’s help (and cooked in the ovens, instead), but Islamic terrorists are worthy by the ICRC’s warped standards. Some neutrality. And it’s hardly neutral the way ICRC treated Israel over the years.
Nice work, Michael. Read Michael’s excellent blog.

Nasser Beydoun & Nael AbuNab: Lies By the Islamist Spinmeisters You Saw on FOX News Yesterday

By
If you watched FOX News Channel, yesterday (Monday), you may have seen Nasser Beydoun, Chairman of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce, and Nael AbuNab using every excuse imaginable that Muslim men purchasing cellphones and plotting to blow up Michiganians on a bridge are not terrorists.
But I have a few questions for them that FOX News didn’t ask. And a few questions for FOX News.

For FOX News:
* Why did you have a convicted felon on your news network (unless he’s on to talk about fraud)? The man, AbuNab, was convicted of 4 counts relating to fraud. There were many more counts. He pleaded no contest to a few in a deal. He has four aliases. He sold people cars with rolled back odometers, false titles, etc. His business was shut down because of it. But he lied to the British press and blamed 9/11 for it. Did 9/11 force people commit fraud? Perhaps a new disease has now been discovered: 9/11 Islamist Man Dishonesty Syndrome.
FOX News Channel apparently had the Not-Doing-Any-Research Syndrome by featuring criminal AbuNab on its network (except to talk about auto sales fraud). Here’s an excerpt from :

AbuNab was convicted in December 2003 on two counts of conspiracy, one count of criminal enterprise, and one count of false pretenses. He pled no contest to rolling back car odometers and issuing false titles at a Detroit car dealership he ran.
And the fraud continues. This summer, after the London bombings, AbuNab put one over on the Sunday Times of London’s Douglas Rogers, to whom AbuNab lied about the end result of the car dealership–claiming it was a result, not of his criminal fraud and deceit, but of 9/11 backlash against Muslims and Arabs.
” ‘After September 11 our community was under siege, we faced the backlash,’ he [AbuNab] says. ‘I lost a business. But I weighed my love for the country that had given me a home and the love for my faith and I found no contradiction.’ ”
Cry me a river. Or rather, cry the river for the real victims of the real reason for the failure of AbuNab’s business–the phony odometers and false auto titles AbuNab sold.

* Why did you not ask Nasser Beydoun about his attendance and speeches at several pro-Hezbollah events in Dearbornistan, at which he ? At , why didn’t Beydoun denounce a speech by Imam Mohammed Ali Elahi that called Jews and Americans “diseased” (with Beydoun in attendance), among other anti-American, anti-Semitic utterances he heard and for which he clapped? Why didn’t Beydoun condemn the prayers for the Mujahideen and martyrs? Or the calls to donate money to the “brothers and sisters” of Hezbollah, instead of buying clothes this year?

Nasser Beydoun:

Arab Chamber of Commerce Leader Cheered @ Hezbollah Rallies

For Beydoun:
* You claim that the cellphone buyers were “just businessmen” buying phones to re-sell them. If you truly believe that (and we know you don’t; it’s just knowing fertilizer), then why did the men separate the 1,000 cellphones from their packaging and throw away the chargers (which do have sizeable market value–in a quantity of at least 1,000 cellphone chargers)?
* Since you are such a supporter of Hezbollah, show us the detailed accounting for your Bint Jebail Development Foundation, so we can determine where the money really goes, once it hits South Lebanon and goes somewhere.
You can’t believe anything the two–Beydoun and felon AbuNab–say. We only wish FOX News Channel had done its homework, instead of giving a forum to these unAmerican, Islamist apologists for terror, one of whom should only be on to talk about his own experiences as a convicted criminal.
Next time, FOX News producers, try Google. It’s really a nifty invention.

REAL Security: Britain’s Now Doing it; When Will We?

By
Well, it’s about time:

The Times–August 15, 2006
Muslims face extra checks in new travel crackdown
By Ben Webster, Transport Correspondent
THE Government is discussing with airport operators plans to introduce a screening system that allows security staff to focus on those passengers who pose the greatest risk.
The passenger-profiling technique involves selecting people who are behaving suspiciously, have an unusual travel pattern or, most controversially, have a certain ethnic or religious background.
The system would be much more sophisticated than simply picking out young men of Asian appearance. But it would cause outrage in the Muslim community because its members would be far more likely to be selected for extra checks.
Officials at the Department for Transport (DfT) have discussed the practicalities of introducing such a system with airport operators, including BAA. They believe that it would be more effective at identifying potential terrorists than the existing random searches.

Mazel Tov. Britain now gets it. When will George Bush, Michael Chertoff, and Norm Mineta’s successor?

New “Bulk” TracFone Buyers Caught: Also Mid-Eastern (Coincidence?)

By
Hmmm . . . more mass-buyers of TracFones caught in Tucson, and they, too, are Middle Eastern. Whatta coincidence.
Here are the details from Tucson’s KVOA News 4:

Law enforcement sources confirm to News 4 that Tucson Police have issued an “attempt to locate” on two Middle Eastern men in their 20’s who purchased nearly 50 phones from Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart in Tucson.
Sources say the men made the purchases on Saturday and Sunday.
There’s been a number of arrests nationwide with very similar circumstances.
News 4 is not linking this case with the national cases, but we do want to point out how similar they are.
Arrests have been made in Michigan and Ohio and there are reports of large numbers of cell phones being sold to young men fitting the same description in Wisconsin.
There was a very similar case that went down in Antigo, Wisconsin where police say another group of men bought more than 90 cell phones from 4 different stores.
News 4 spoke with a Wal-mart and Sam’s Club representative and he would not confirm nor deny that these men did in fact buy those phones.
Instead, he referred us to the police and we spoke with the Pima Sheriff’s Department and the Marana and Oro Valley police departments.
Tucson law enforcement authorities confirmed late Sunday night that officers are searching for these two men.

Stay Tuned: Charges Dropped Against the Dearbornistan Boys . . . For Now

By
I’m getting a lot of gloating e-mails from friends and close relatives of who lied to police and bought multiple cellphones. They had almost $11,000 cash and Metro Detroit Airport security information and passenger lists.
The gloating is because the terrorism felony charges have been dropped against them. They can gloat all they want, but the fact is that the charges were dropped WITHOUT PREJUDICE. In legal terms, that means they can be brought again, while the investigation continues. And, make no mistake, it is continuing.
Here is the key phrase from WTAP’s coverage of this latest development:

Prosecutors are saying there is enough evidence in support of probable cause, but not enough to prove charges beyond a reasonable doubt.

Not Out of the Woods:

Even if enough solid evidence can’t be found eventually, that doesn’t mean they weren’t involved in a terror plot. They likely were.
There is plenty of suspicious stuff on these guys, like the fact that they used the “my father is a construction worker” story. And the fact that Houssaiky’s mother, , claimed she needed the passenger manifests and security info because she was in some sort of training (she’s been in the job loading Royal Jordanian passengers onto the flight manifests for years–yet suddenly she needs to train for it). We know a lot more stuff about her, and it’s frightening. The woman should have been banned from Metro Detroit Airport long ago.
And why did the two 20-year-olds get paid a check for $5,000 (the check was introduced in court by their soon-fired attorney) for wasting a lot of gas over a tiny profit? A lot is going on here, and it’s not good.
And there is more. Stay tuned.

Dearbornistan Terror Boy w/Cellphones Not Exactly Down on Bin Laden

By
One Osama doesn’t exactly dislike the other. And they’re both apparently terrorists.
When it comes to , isn’t exactly down on Bin Laden. In fact, the moral equivalency statements uttered by the 20-year-old caught with multiple cellphones, thousands in cash, and passenger lists and security information from Detroit Metro Airport are downright disturbing.
In 2002, the terror suspect said this about the Al-Qaeda chief, in a Detroit Free Press sports profile:

He’s fighting for a cause like the United States is,” Abulhassan said. “But he’s killing innocent people and that makes him appear to be a bad guy.”

Osama Abulhassan Wouldn’t Condemn Bin Laden

Fighting for a cause like the United States is? Appear to be a bad guy?
Not exactly a condemnation. In fact, it sounds more like he sympathizes with the guy.
Interestingly, the clueless Detroit Free Press sportswriter, Mick McCabe, gets it wrong when he “objectively” reports that:

Abulhassan is at the opposite end of the good guy/bad guy spectrum.

Four years later, we know that isn’t the case. Yet another giant hint to reporters that they should stick to the facts and leave out their opinions.
And an even bigger hint where Osama Sobhi Abulhassan’s pro-terror sympathies lie. No wonder he, himself, has now gotten caught “fighting for a cause.” In this case, though, he doesn’t just “appear” to be a bad guy.
The evidence is mounting that he, in fact, is. Tomorrow (Tuesday) is his preliminary exam. We’ll hear even more.

No Seats: Another Set of Stupid “Priorities” at the Border

By Debbie Schlussel
Yet more absurdity at America’s Northern Border. Today, daily commuters coming from Windsor, Canada into the U.S. over the Ambassador Bridge had long delays at the Detroit entry point because of a stupid edict from top brass at Customs and Border Protection (CBP)–a Department of Homeland Security agency. They took away the border inspectors’ chairs in their booths.
It’s hard enough be a CBP inspector at the Detroit Ambassador Bridge from Canada. The bridge’s owner, Manuel “Matty” Moroun (an Arab of Lebanese descent who supports some “interesting” causes), constantly pressures inspectors and CBP bosses to speed up inspections and let people into the country. Ditto for the Big Three automakers, who have trucks coming in an out with parts and cars, and don’t care about security much. The CBP brass gives in to both and forces the inspector agents to speed things up and let people in, without adequate checks–to border agents dismay.

Detroit’s Ambassador Bridge: Homeland Security MIA on Border Priorities

But, now it’s worse. Apparently, CBP officials feel the inspectors looked “too comfortable” in their toll booths. So the supervisors came and took all the chairs out of the booths. Now, they have to stand on their feet all day long. Nice way to make it even harder and less appealing to do adequate inspections of interlopers into America with nefarious intents.
In what is being called a “unofficial retaliation,” the inspectors are taking five to ten minutes to perform inspections on each vehicle even if there is no cause to run all of the checks.
So, today, there were likely a lot of angry Canadians, auto execs, and one dangerous bridge owner. Tough.
Although the CBP inspectors at the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel and at the Fort St. cargo facility did not also perform a “slow-down,” their chairs were taken away, too. The chairs have been taken away at many border inspection booths around the country.
But the only ones who should lose their seats–and their jobs–are the bozos supervising CBP booth operations. They are still seated, though, unfortunately.
Where is CBP Commissioner Ralph Basham (in Detroit this week just in time for the slow-down) on this issue? He did a good job at the U.S. Secret Service. Not so good, so far at CBP.

Famous But Incompetent: FBI in Denial Again

By
So, three Palestinian Muslim men buy 1,000 cellphones and spent who knows how much in gas driving from Texas to buy them. The three men are tied to a plot to blow up Michigan’s Mackinac Bridge. Their antics, their tactics are similar to other Muslims throughout America, also purchasing phones.
And yet, the FBI says there is “no imminent threat” and no evidence they were linked to a known terrorist group. Get a clue, FBI.
Well, actually, the FBI does have a clue. They’re just not telling you. The FBI is aware that many Muslim multiple-cellphone buyers around the country are using the same exact cover story. Sound like they’re all independent to you? No, using the same cover story shows they are working together.

The FBI is also aware that the Texas men caught in Caro are linked to Palestinian Islamic Jihad. And the FBI is aware that there was a threat. Otherwise, the FBI would not be involved in a case like this.
As , in writing about the 11 previously missing (and now found) Egyptian “students”–another case in which the FBI said there was “no imminent threat” and no link to terror–the FBI would not otherwise have been involved, but for a link to terrorism.
Perhaps, as is the general FBI protocol, they don’t want to cause a panic and that’s why the agency is touting the standard BS line. But we should all be concerned and scared. Not complacent.
Trying to shove this under a rug is irresponsible. And a disservice to America.
