“Fair” & Islamo-Castrated: Another FOX News Anchor Surrenders Testicles, Apologizes to Muslims (VIDEO)

By Debbie Schlussel

Hey, yet another example of why, on this site, we call a spade a spade and refer to FOX News Channel as PAWNN–the Prince Al-Waleed News Network. It’s not just because the jihadi prince is the second largest individual shareholder of the network and gets the news network to hew its coverage to his demands. It’s because his employees at his network are arguably bigger wimps and dhimmis to Islam than even those at CNN and MSNBC. In less than a week, we saw not just one, but TWO!, of them apologizing to Muslims.

islamiccrescent

First, as I told you on Thursday, Bill O’Reilly surrendered his manhood, apologizing to ABC’s “The View” chicks and Muslims after saying that Muslims perpetrated the 9/11 attacks (was it Wiccans?). But, after that, FOX News Brian Kilmeade, the himbo co-host of FOX & Friends, “defended” Bill O’Reilly, by saying, “all terrorists are Muslims,” Friday Morning. Don’t worry, though. Like O’Reilly, he, too, wimped out and apologized, this morning. Here’s the original:

Here’s the video of Kilmeade handing over his testicles for like the gazillionth time (one of the previous iterations was this summer, when he couldn’t bring himself to ask Miss Hezbollah USA to condemn Hezbollah and gushed over her instead):

And while most terrorists are, indeed, Muslims (and most Muslims morally support terrorism), that didn’t matter much to the FOX News brass, who forced Kilmeade to apologize to Muslims, this morning, on the air. That directive came from Sean Hannity’s best friend, Bill Shine (Vannity got him the Senior VP slot at FOX News, after Shine produced “Hannity & Colmes”).

Fox News SVP of Programming Bill Shine says Kilmeade will address the comments on Monday.

“Brian was talking about the events on ‘The View’ yesterday and was referring to the radical extremists who killed Americans on 9/11,” Shine told the Huffington Post. “Obviously, not all terrorists are Muslim and Brian will clarify this point on television and radio on Monday.”

Again, MOST terrorists are, indeed, Muslim. They ain’t Hare Krishna or Zoroastrian. And most Muslims support Hezbollah, HAMAS, Islamic Jihad, the Muslims Brotherhood, etc. Anyone who denies these facts–including Bill Shine and the other bloated morons who run the Prince Al-Waleed News Network–is completely dishonest. They know better.

Hey, maybe that’s why they dropped the, “We report, you decide,” baloney. They don’t report.

More like “We self-castrate, you decide.”

(Thanks to reader California Screaming for the tip.)

A couple of days ago, Murdoch made a very sane speech about what’s happening to Jews and Israel.

http://www.commentarymagazine.com/viewarticle.cfm/-the-aim-is-to-make-israel-a-pariah–15550

How is it that he can do this and, at the same time, pal around with a man who pays the families of terrorist murderers of Israelis and is surely an Islamist.

A: Murdoch has made that BS speech before. He’s a frickin’, lyin’ hypocrite. And Commentary Magazine, a once great publication, is now–online–a piece of crap apologist site for him and his ilk. DS

adam on October 18, 2010 at 12:34 pm

Thanks for the heads up on that speech, really terrific. I just finished watching a Woody Allen film, “Deconstructing Harry”. In it he says that what he really finds most troubling about the six million who perished in the holocaust, is that people are always trying to break new records.

    Adam:

Melanie Phillips was also taken in by that piece of taquia (Not sure how to spell it):

Watch what Murdoch does. Not what he says.

He’s on the wrong side. Everything he says about Israel is contradicted by his news network’s silencing of its anchors who tell the truth.

We deserve better than someone who says one thing and does another thing where Israel’s survival is concerned.

NormanF on October 18, 2010 at 3:05 pm

Not only did Kilmeade retract his statement, but it is obvious he was forced to. The retraction is so wordy that it had to hav been contrived. Both of these quotes are from the Naxi Media Matters web site (I am not providing the links):

“”I should have said” that “all terrorists who killed us on 9-11 with the Cole and the Khobar and the ’98 embassies” were Muslim”

IAM: I’ve removed your quotation of the FOX News comments by Bill Shine from Huffington Post, as they are contained in the post, which apparently you missed. DS

I_AM_ME on October 18, 2010 at 1:54 pm

I can’t believe I heard you say most Muslims morally support terrorism!!! WTF?! Where did you get that trash from? This is the same sort of rhetoric that the Nazis used against Jews in the run up to the second world war. You’re a disgrace to decent people.

B: Will you condemn Hezbollah, HAMAS, Islamic Jihad? Regardless of whether or not you’ll condemn these groups, most Muslims will not . . . because they morally support those groups. That’s hardly a secret And that’s what’s truly a disgrace to decent people, but not to Muslims because they are indecent in openly supporting these groups. I saw it daily in summer 2006, when 10,000 Muslims paraded in support of Hezbollah and HAMAS on the streets of Dearbornistan (and many times before and since then). The Nazis–many of whom were Muslims and were supported by Muslim leaders–lied about the Jews. They made up stuff for propaganda purposes. I simply tell the truth about Muslims. Facts are stubborn things. DS

Baz on October 18, 2010 at 2:00 pm

The rhetoric that the Nazis used against the Jews were eaten up happily, because then and now the majority of the world’s people are anti-semitic. Believe me here, if Bill O’Reilly had made remarks about Jewish people, those to old hags, would not have marched off the set. And if Brian repeated it, no apology would be demanded from the suits at Fox. It seems tres chic to bash the Jews, and most terrible to say anything to upset the poor misunderstood muslims. Perhaps the Jews should fly planes into buildings, blow up embassies, shoot people on army bases etc., instead of using their scientific brilliant minds to curing disease, inventing things to make life easier and finding huge amounts of oil in Israel, they too could become the media darlings.

Davida on October 18, 2010 at 2:24 pm

Wow. Bigotry and islamophobia like woah. There are some seriously small minds around here.

TMO on October 18, 2010 at 3:08 pm

I am one of them. People are in denial about evil in the world. Its people like you who will ensure it will be around for a long time to come.

Islam wants to take over the world, export its violent fanaticism and bloodshed here, reduce us to little better than slaves and take away our freedoms.

Any one who doesn’t see it is naive and a fool.

I know where I stand. Do you?

NormanF on October 18, 2010 at 3:19 pm

I don’t see you condemn terrorism, understand Israel’s right to exist and side with America against her enemies. Yes, there are Muslims who do get it but they are few and between. And judging from your comments, you are not one of them. And as Debbie as rightly noted, she’s only reporting the truth. To rephrase her, facts are stubborn things, indeed.

Actually rereading what you wrote I realised that anyone that doesn’t hold your extreme right wing views is a terrorist sympathiser. So basically if you can’t have a sensible debate label them as a terrorist sympathisers and job done?

Sorry that won’t work here. What made the USA a great place were people who understood different cultures and peoples. The early American settlers were from diverse backgrounds. Where is your sense of understanding and diversity?

I condemn Hamas hezbollah and any other form of terrorism but I’m not dumb enough to label an entire religion bad.

If you wanna know who the terrorists are start with the saudia arabians as most of the 911 hijackers were Saudi. But of course they provide the oil and petro dollars so we can’t offend them right?

    Moral and ethical bankruptcy

Americans are finding a grotesque echo in the moral – ethical bankruptcy and worse of a substantial sector of American society.

The “moral depravity” of “the Arabs” who kill innocent civilians. It is more than moral depravity. It is a culture that teaches, educates and breeds hate toward other societies that are not like them as they say “infidels”.

There is no way this situation should be handled with kid gloves – when a poison strikes your body, you remove it and destroy it completely, leaving no trace of such poison.

History has shown that these types of atrocities and acts of barbarism have increased in the past half a century and getting worse by the day.

With today’s advancement in technology and telecommunications, the world has shrunk, events on the other side of the world affect everybody (like the Japanese Nuclear reactor fallout etc.) it affects our health our economy brings fear and uncertainty to our lives.

The financial crisis we are facing today is the price we pay for years of neglect and government abuse of power.

Is today’s society heading toward annihilation, you be the judge?

The Qur’an 17:104 – states the land belongs to the Jewish people

Every time there is a terrorist act, Israel should vacate an Arab village and raze it.

OOOOoooooooohhh talk about irony!!!!

Norman Blitzer on October 18, 2010 at 3:13 pm

    No irony.

The Mufti al-Husseini met Hitler and recruited Muslims to serve in the SS. He promised that the Germans would get rid of the Jews had they reached Palestine during World War II. His successors want to accomplish that goal.

And the Arab World was first pro-Nazi and then pro-Soviet and today its pro-Iranian and pro-jihad. You must have missed the enthusiastic turnout in Lebanon for the Persian Hitler, Ahmedinejad, last week.

The more things change… please wake the heck up!

NormanF on October 18, 2010 at 3:27 pm

No, not all terrorists are Muslims. Those who were too young should see the movie “The Baader Meinhof Complex” to remember how it was in Europe only a few decades ago. And let’s not forget either the Tamil Tigers or the narco-terrorists of South America.

But with over 15,000 attacks perpetrated *in the name of Islam* just since 9/11, Muslims have a lot to explain away. Baz may call “trash” the suggestion that most Muslims support terror, but polling suggests otherwise. Whether in the UK or Pakistan, Jordan or France, Egypt or Nigeria, the numbers who blame the US or Israel for 9/11, support the imposition of sharia, insist that apostasy merits death, or support violence to “defend Islam” is disturbingly high.

Raymond in DC on October 18, 2010 at 3:48 pm

Hey Baz I have a question for you buster, who the hell cowardly snuck attacked us on 9/11/01, was it A) Fanatical Islamist, B) Christians, C) Jews, D) Hindus, E) Buddhist, or F) None of the above? I bet that you’ll answer F) None of the above, because fellow travelling leftist like you don’t see reality for what it is, so continue to live like a human ostrich by having your head in the sand my friend! And BTW Baz, the radical islamist have been on this war against the world since the 7th century when their prophet Mohammed died, so please study the history of the “Muslim Conquest”!

“A nation is identified by it’s borders, language & culture!”

Sean R. on October 18, 2010 at 4:56 pm

So Debbie let me help you out with some facts because your statements are dangerous and extreme to say the least.

DS said “Will you condemn Hezbollah, HAMAS, Islamic Jihad?”

So I will condemn any form of terrorism that takes and endangers human life.

[B: Ah, you prove my point. You won’t specifically condemn Hezbollah, HAMAS, Islamic Jihad, etc. b/c you don’t consider them terrorists. That’s all we need to know about you. Thanks for displaying it so brazenly, like most Muslims. Given this, the rest of what you wrote is flat-out irrelevant. DS]

DS said “Regardless of whether or not you’ll condemn these groups, most Muslims will not . . . because they morally support those groups.”

I’m not sure which groups you are referring too? You tend to lump all these different “muslim” groups into a single homogeneous bodywhen in fact they are quite different motivations and ideologies, not that i condone them, but at least understadn your enemy.

DS “That’s hardly a secret And that’s what’s truly a disgrace to decent people, but not to Muslims because they are indecent in openly supporting these groups.”

Whoa, so now your condeming all muslims as indecent?! Have you ever thought about this…Muslims are normal people like you and I. they have the same basic needs as you and I. There is good and bad amongst muslims just as there are in any other society. So have you ever thought about why some of them might be supporting terrorist groups? Is that because they are all just “indecent” or is it because there is a specific conflict that is giving this support?

DS “The Nazis–many of whom were Muslims and were supported by Muslim leaders–lied about the Jews. They made up stuff for propaganda purposes. I simply tell the truth about Muslims. Facts are stubborn things.”

WTF?! Where did you get that from? I’m from Europe and I at least know my history. Nazis where white Christians denoting themselves as the Aryan Race. These white Christians committed some of the most hideous acts of brutality against jews, gypsies and other races and used Rhetoric and generalisations to rally people against the Jews. They burnt Jewish books, they saw Jewish conspiracies everywhere, the condemned jews as scum and lice and terrorists all to vilify a nation. Guess what you’re doing? You are vilifying an entire people. Muslims are not a single group. There are over 52 muslims countries with different customs, beliefs and views. They are as diverse as our Christian worlds in Europe and North America. So when you say “muslims” you generalise as to dehumanise a people. That is dangerous.

I urge you to avoid doing this because our world peace rests on our understanding one another and not putting out misinformation and dangerous rhetoric. You Madam are dangerous.

baz on October 18, 2010 at 6:27 pm

Considering Muslims are slaughtering each other, its revealing you can’t bring yourself to condemn by name the groups responsible for it.

Silence is an implicit form of approval.

We know why they are all supporting terrorist groups. Why would you see good in them?

Muslim terrorists act in the name of Islam and they justify their barbarity in the name of the Koran. I’d like one Muslim apologist to explain how they have “hijacked” Islam.

Debbie Schlussel, I understand is dangerous for telling the truth. All the more reason it needs to be made more widely known. Christians are not carrying out crusades or slaughtering Muslims and Jews in the name of Christ today. But Muslims are slaughtering Muslims, Jews and Christians in the name of Islam today.

Facts are stubborn things and they won’t change because you avert your eyes to what is being done in the name of your religion.

Get it right about Muslim violence and educate yourself today and seek to change that and put a stop to it!

NormanF on October 18, 2010 at 7:39 pm

Your understanding of history is faulty. Muslims in Jugoslavia joined with Hitler in his war. The Grand Mufti
lived in Germany during the war and recruited Muslims who
served in the SS. Nazis had refuge in Arab countries after
the war ended and aided them against Israel. Calling Nazis
“white Christians” is a real stretch. Which church did Hitler
go to, the Lutherans, Catholic, Mormon? He hated Christianity.
He and his regime killed as many Christian Poles and Germans
in the camps as they killed the Jews.

    Daniel K on October 19, 2010 at 9:50 am

By the way DS, if I use your logic should I condemn the entire Christian world because of the Nazis? Or Perhaps I should condemn all Christians because of David Koresh? I think not…….

“Facts are a stubborn thing”, you’re right. So please get them right about history.

baz on October 18, 2010 at 6:32 pm

How is this for facts fella? I remember with utter disgust during the days and weeks following September 11, 2001 and seeing muslims dancing and cheering in the streets. Always a big cause for celebration when 3000 people are killed. And when reporters went to the muslim countries and questioned the young supposedly educated people attending university, the darlings thought that we got what we deserved. 60 minutes questioned muslim teenagers in the USA and I remember one girl in particular who thought that she would like to wear a suicide vest and go onto a military base to blow herself up. I did not once get the feeling that too many muslims were outraged and disgusted by what happened. Far too many were busy whining about a possible backlash to the muslim communities (which never happened except in a very few isolated cases which my fellow citizens decried. I am so weary of all of this, between the violent attacks and the insidious creeping attacks into our society. What, Are we reading different newspapers and books and blogs? And when credible people such as Debbie report and actual facts, you want to kill the messenger. Grow the f**k up and stop sticking your fingers in yours ears and yelling “I can”t hear you” Baz, what you don’t know can kill you. And please stop with the David Koresh and Tim McVeigh bullshit. The Nazi ideology and the muslim ideology and both nasty, disgusting and very deadly.

Davida on October 18, 2010 at 10:49 pm

By your logic, there is not evil going on in Islam? You’re then part of the problem and not part of the solution.

You’ve said nothing to contradict what Debbie has written on this site. Get it right about history by going to look in the mirror – the mirror of Islam.

NormanF on October 18, 2010 at 7:45 pm

In a way, Fox a.k.a. ‘PAWNN’ IS fair – to Islam, that is.

ConcernedPatriot on October 18, 2010 at 8:06 pm

Islam commits all terrorist acts. In the sense that Muslims commit these acts for the their greater good. They want groups of people to fear them as a group. When F*CK faces likes Bill Maher and Keith Olberman bring up a straw man argument like Tim McVeigh, he didn’t act on behalf of a group. He was a lone wolf. Terrorism is a political civil disobedience. McVeigh didn’t invoke fear on others before his act. Al qeada, Hamas, Hezbollah and others want group to fear them. Kilmeade should have stood his ground because he first comment was right.

CornCoLeo on October 19, 2010 at 12:19 am

NormanF and the others that lump all muslims into a single category let me help you guys out.

NormanF said “The Mufti al-Husseini met Hitler and recruited Muslims to serve in the SS.”

Islam has a less structured hierarchy of clergy than Christianity. This means there is no central body or authority that controls Islam. This means that Islam is NOT a single homogenous group of people. Hamas for example have nothing to do with the Muslims of say the Indian sub continent or any other muslim world. So stop with the grouping of muslims in this single way because that shows your ignorance of anything outside of the western world. SO if the Mufti AL Husseni met Hitler then he speaks for himself and his people (the Pals) NOT the entire Islamic world because he has neither the authority or power or Religious structure to speak on behalf of all muslims. Did you also forget that many European politicals met the Nazi and were sympathisers and appeasers, there are numerous cases of this in the british political establishment. Does that mean they represent the British people? No because the British in the main fought against the Nazis.

Let me turn it around for you. Should the whole christian world we held to account for the bad of a country that commits terrorism in the name of Christianity, e.g The Lords army in Africa? Do they speak for Christians round the world? NO they don’t yet you are quite happy for the same logic to apply to Muslims. WHy is that? Is it because the bigotry and ignorance that exists amongst some of the posters means that anything Islamic is a fair target? Perhaps the pope should apologise on behalf of the Nazi because they were all Christian? Dumb logic.

Here are some more facts. More people have died in the last 150 years from secular wars than religious ones; Second World War, Korean War, Vietnam etc etc Should we blame Christians for these because they were instigated by Christians? NO!

Have you guys stopped to think that the wars we are fighting today are geo-political rather than religious? Hamas is fighting a war against Israel over land – period. I condemn Hamas for its terrorism and killing civilians but I at least understand the war for what it is. Hezbollah is again fighting with Israel over land and is a hang over from the Lebanon war. Last time I recall neither of these groups committed terrorist acts in any western country, do you? So why exactly should Americans or Europeans fear Hamas or Hezbollah?

Now lets talk about the one group that is a religious inspired ideology and that is Al Qaida. They can be classified as religious extremists and should be treated as such with their contempt for human life. These are the terrorists and we should fear and attack them.

I’ll also remind these posters that it was Al Qaida that committed the henious act of 911 and they also killed Muslims in that World Trade Center. WHat good muslims Al Qaida were…NOT. Learn who your enemies are not just go around spouting “Muslims muslims muslims” because that what these terrorist groups want you to do. You are falling into their disgusting mindset.

Grow up guys! If you want to take an interest in global affairs then at least get under the skin of the conflicts to understand what they are about rather than joining the rabid anti-muslim brigade. I’ve spent a fair amount of time around the world and in Islamic countries and guess what? They are NO different to you and I…..

baz on October 19, 2010 at 4:08 am

Oh really? Then why do Sunni and Shiite Muslims kill each over arcane theological differences?

Why are liberal groups weak to non-existent in the Muslim World? Why are non-Islamic minorities persecuted?

Why is there rampant discrimination against women, spousal abuse and sexual slavery? Why is there gender apartheid in a number of Muslim countries?

Why do they preach jihad and hatred of Israel and the West?

All of these negative phenomenon is what has put Islam in a bad light. As I mentioned Muslims should be doing all they can to address what is evil within their religion.

And until they do so, they won’t attract much support in the non-Muslim World apart from those in power who overlook it because they need the oil there or to gain votes in the UN, etc.

That’s not a simplistic worldview. That’s the reality today and for the foreseeable future.

NormanF on October 19, 2010 at 5:14 am

Nothing to do with land. They hate the Jews and that is a fact. Nasarallah stated that he’d like all the Jews of the world to go to Israel, so that they could all be killed in one shot. Yeah, real peaceful guy just fighting for his land. You are a fool and a tool. It effing galls the muslim that Jewish people should have a homeland and it has nothing to do with the so called plight of the “palestinians”. Why doesn’t anybody give a f**k that they live like dogs in Jordan and Lebanon? Nobody howled when hey were thrown out of Libya or Kuwait. Because they are being used (and to stupid to know it) as a rallying cry against those “mean and evil Jews”. Land my ass.
Like if every Jewish person died tomorrow things would be any different in the Middle East. Then they’d come up with some other BS to extort money and ass kissing from the jerk off Western world. Baz, I think that you are smoking or snorting some really nasty shit. Time to change dealers.

CaliforniaScreaming said “Islam commits all terrorist acts.

O really? Funny because in Europe we have non-Muslims terrorists – SHOCK HORROR!

UK we have the IRA
SPain and France have ETA

What about state sponsored terrorism perhaps?

The predator drones that the USA is now firing into Afghanistan is now creating more terrorists than killing. Over 95% of the casualities in the drone attacks have been civilians. Now I guesss many of that will find justification in your own minds for that, but I cant.

Then there is state sponsored terrorism in China which is killing the pro-democracy groups.

In Russia we have them killing Chechens because of the land conflict.

I could go on….

baz on October 19, 2010 at 4:17 am

Those groups don’t do it in the name of religion.

The US is targeting Al Qaeda. Regrettably civilians get killed in the cross-fire. Al Qaeda has killed more Muslims than the US has ever done.

And on the borderlands where Islam meets the non-Islamic world, there is violence: Israel, Chechenya, the Chinese West and southern Thailand.

As well as in Western countries with large Muslim minorities, like France, the UK and Sweden.

There is a pattern and you ignore it. None of that is irrelevant. Islam as a violent and fanatical ideology, is incompatible with our Western way of life. Multiculturalism has failed to bridge – not a clash of cultures but a clash of civilizations.

Its safe to say it won’t end in our lifetime.

NormanF on October 19, 2010 at 5:25 am

NormanF said “The Mufti al-Husseini met Hitler and recruited Muslims to serve in the SS.”

O one more fact for you. Muslims fought alongside the allies in the 2nd world war. Did you forget that? Pakistan and indonesia are two examples. Both these countries lost more people to the second world war than most other conflicts. In addition to this numerous islamic scholars condemned the Nazis.

But all of this doesn’t fit into your nice pattern of facts that are anti muslim. You just keep focusing on one guy who HAPPENs to be muslim and forget the millions of muslims that fought alongside us.

Ey??! Let me repeat. Any group that kills is a terrorist group to me. So yes Hamas and Islamic Jihad have armed wings that I consider terrorists. davida wrote “It effing galls the muslim that Jewish people should have a homeland and it has nothing to do with the so called plight of the “palestinians”.

Would you be so blase if American civilians were dying in this way? “regrettably” civilians get killed? WTF?! 95% of the people dying are civilians you fool.

So let me get this straight, you accept more Muslims have been killed by Al Qaida than by Americans yet you are ready to damn the entire muslim world because of the extremists? Talk about a raw deal.

By the way here’s another fact for you

NormanF wrote “And on the borderlands where Islam meets the non-Islamic world, there is violence: Israel, Chechenya, the Chinese West and southern Thailand. ”

What??? Are you really that crass and stupid to think that this is some global islamic jihad connection between all these conflicts?

Israel – land conflict. Involving Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hizbollah who have only targetted israel and not the west a whole. Reason? Because they are fighting over land, its a geopolitical conflict.

Thailand – sectarian violence, but why dont you read wikipedia and get some more context first to understand this conflict. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Thailand_insurgency

China – the conflict is about Human rights and democracy, Tinnamen Square protests involved muslims but that wasn’t a relgious conflict. In fact I’m surprised as an American you bring this up since the USA supports the fight for freedom and democracy in China.

Chechnya – have you heard about the human rights abuses committed by the russians out there? The conflict was over the right to self determination and the Chechens are a proud people fighting for their right to govern their country after the demise of the USSR.

I think you need to really get a bit or perspective on these conflicts dude.

Get real. Until the so-called moderates of Islam rise up and eliminate the Jihadists the western world will increasing look unfavorably upon that religion.

I’m not gonna hold my breath.

Oh really?!

Then would you mind explaining the following, baz?

Why the Arab states wage three wars of aggression against Israel in 1948, 1956, and 1967? In fact, it was in self-defense of the 1967 war that Israel got into the territories of The Golan Heights, the so-called “West Bank” (Judea and Samaria), and the since evacuated territories of the Sinai and Gaza.

Concerning Gaza:

Israel withdrew from that territory in 2005. If the Arabs wanted to even pretend that their conflict with Israel was about lands that Israel had captured in the 1967 war, then the so-called “Palestinian” Arabs response should have been to keep that territory quiet and focus their violence against Israel on the so-called “West Bank” (Judea and Samaria) so that they would then say, “see, Israel withdrew from Gaza and now there is no more violence in that territory, but since Israel is now occupying (sic) the West Bank (sic) there is violence in that territory, so therefore, if Israel were to withdraw from that territory, then there also would be peace there as well.”

But that is not what has been happening. Instead, after Israel withdrew from Gaza, Hamas has been launching rocket attacks against Israel and has kidnapped an Israeli solider. In contrast, there has been relative quiet in the Judea and Samaria territories.

So much for the notion that even so much as “most” violence would disappear vis-a-vis the Arab-Israeli conflict if only Israel were to withdraw to its pre-1967 borders.

And your response, baz, to this is … .

    Re: my 9:53 pm post.

“…Instead, after Israel withdrew from Gaza, Hamas has been launching rocket attacks against Israel ”

    Meaning, from Gaza.

JeffE on October 19, 2010 at 10:28 pm

JeffE so couple of points. I do indeed think that Jordan, Egypt and Syria were aggressors in the war with Israel. These states did indeed attack Israel, but Israel decisively won that war and whatever Egypt, Jordan and Syria want the war is over for trhem. Egypt and Jordan have signed peace treaties with Israel now.

As for the Gaza and West bank now that’s a different story. Gaza is basically an open air prison. You say that Israel has vacated this but in actual fact the airspace, sea and borders are sealed by Israel. Gaza cannot trade, or act as a normal country. It’s a containment box. Now if you think that’s a reciepe for peace then you’re mistaken. On the West Bank, the Israeli’s continue to build on the land there. The West Bank and Gaza are part of the same conflict. Resolution would come by resolving the land issue on both Gaza and the West bank once and for all.

There are a number of UN Resolutions that also call for israel to withdraw. Successful peace will be predicated on giving the Pal’s a viable state, which means it must be able to trade and do as it wishes as a nation state can. This would give the people something to live for and move on from the conflict. Locking people into a cage and taking their right away to self determination is not going to cut. Violence of this sort requires people to walk away feeling they’ve had a “fair” deal.

Also no-one can threaten the existence of Israel anymore. It is a nuclear state with estimates of 50-250 nuclear warheads. It’s simply not credible to say that Israel can be wiped off the map.

I would also remind you that the ratio of deaths is more than 6-1 in Israels favour. For every one Israeli that dies more than 6 pals die.

I want to see lasting peace in the region but that means being fair.

So with this that means that you accept my point that the Arab-Israeli conflict generally predated Israel’s presence in Gaza and the so-called “West Bank”. So far, so good.

When Egypt and Jordan signed their peace treaties with Israel, Israel was allowed to keep the Gaza and the so-called “West Bank” territories. Israel’s situation then emerges that whereas before 1967 Israel had to deal with the Arab states, now with Israel in the so-called “West Bank” and until 2005 in Gaza, it’s only “Palestinian” Arab violence that Israel has to deal with. Well, that and violence against Hezbollah from Lebanon. It would seem to appear Israel’s situation has improved and prospects for peace between Israel and her neighbors has improved as a result of Israel being in those territories.

Before I continue, I want to point out that my above analysis is based only on the strategic analysis of Israel being in those territories. The question of whether or not it’s fair is a separate issue.

Now for your next points.

“As for the Gaza and West bank now that’s a different story. Gaza is basically an open air prison. You say that Israel has vacated this but in actual fact the airspace, sea and borders are sealed by Israel. Gaza cannot trade, or act as a normal country. It’s a containment box. I don’t think that Israel having withdrawn from Gaza is a recipe for peace. On the contrary, I say that Israel should never have withdrawn from that territory. I was merely addressing your rule–and actually, not only your rule but also the MSM rule and the pro-Arab rule (when addressing the West)–that if Israel were to withdraw from Gaza that there would then be peace. I take it that your position is that Israel didn’t withdraw according to your rule of how it should have been done. As for your contention that Gaza has been a prison, that’s not what Debbie has reported. Please see this link:

Her primary source for that post is Bloomberg–not a right wing source. The link is within Debbie’s post, but I will also provide it here as well:

Earlier comments have pointed out about how the Arab/Muslim world doesn’t care about the so-called “Palestinian” Arabs. The following should help to prove this point. Where were the Arab world and the UN when from after the 1948 Arab-Israel war until the start of the 1967 war when Egypt had illegally occupied Gaza and Jordan had illegally annexed the so-called “West Bank” territory? I don’t recall any demands from either the UN, the Arab/Muslim world, or even the Palestinian Arabs themselves that Egypt and Jordan withdraw from those respective territories and give them to the Palestinian Arabs to establish their own state of Palestine. Do you? Also, during that period, Egypt treated The Palestinian Arabs in Gaza horribly, a lot worse than Israel has ever done. Also, I didn’t hear much condemnation from the Arab world or the MSM when Kuwait expelled the Palestinina Arabs from their country in 1991.

FYI, baz, I won’t be able to return here until tonight to see if you responded to this post, but I will check on this tonight.

JeffE on October 20, 2010 at 9:46 am

JeffE I promise i will respond but family commitments prevent me right now.

I do want to say thank you for taking the time and effort to respond. We may not agree but at least this is a rational and sensible debate you’re having. I hope that’s not condescending as it’s not intended to be.

Baz on October 20, 2010 at 3:19 pm

O I should add….much of information is from Israeli and/or Jewish sources. Fortunately there are a lot decent people in Israel who continue to report the REAL facts.

baz on October 20, 2010 at 4:58 pm

Hey JeffE looks like the response I prepared for you is “awaiting moderation”. Promise I responded but lets see if this website releases my comments.

Thank you, baz. I do take this as a compliment and not as a condescension, and I say likewise on your part. I more than understand about your family commitments. For my part, I’m responding this late because I had a work function to go to tonight.

Also, re your 5:12 pm post:

As of this writing I still do not see your post that is “awaiting moderation”.

I will check again tomorrow either in the early morning or in the evening.

If your comment doesn’t appear, recheck what you wrote, you might have to change a word, or if you linked to a website that Debbie doesn’t approve of, you might want to omit the link and I will look up the referenced website(s) myself.

Have a good night, baz.

“If the Israelis returned to the 1967 borders most of the violence would disappaear.”

Really? You know, blame the JOOOS.

If the JOOOS gave in, al-Qaeda, the Taliban, HAMAS, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, the Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR, etc. would disappear off the face of the earth?

When Major Nidal Hassan executed 14 American soldiers at Fort Hood, was he thinking about Israel?
When Faisal Shaszad planted a bomb in Times Square, was he thinking about Israel?
When the 9/11 hijackers stole American planes and flew into the World Trade Center (with other planes aimed at the Pentagon, the White House, etc.) – were they all thinking about Israel?
Was the Christmas tree bomber thinking about Israel?
When the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem sided with Adolf Hitler during WWII, was he thinking about Israel?
When the prophet Mohammed mass murdered Jews and raped 9-year-old Aisha, was he thinking about Israel?
When he instructed his followers to “slay the infidels where ye find them,” was he thinking about Israel?

I doubt it.

Why is it that the JOOOS manage to upset everybody so much?

Stop using Israel as a pretext – an excuse – for 14 centuries of Islamic terrorism. Get your head out of the sand, and into some history books.

Facts ARE stubborn things, Debbie. Just as stubborn as the Muslim apologists out there, with political correctness on their side.

This Comment section has been quite a read, but it still leads me to the following:

1. What country in the M.E. has the most to lose and the least population and/or friends in the area for self-defense purposes?
2. What religious group is pushing, violently, its beliefs upon people such as the Nubi, the Animists in Darfur, Christians and Jews in both Africa and the M.E.?
3. If you are a female, what religion is most likely to impose FGM upon you by force?
4. Why has ERDOGAN of Turkey re-imposed strict Sharia upon Turkey’s citizens and rejected Kemal Attaturk’s Westernization of the country?
5. Why, as I currently understand it, is the Qur’an NOT TRANSLATED into the local languages where Islam is practiced?
6. Last Questions: Does anyone know who MOHAMMED ibn AL-KHWARIZMI WAS…about his book, AL-JEBR W’ALMUQABALA…and what has ARAB CULTURE / ISLAMIC RELIGION / SHARIA LAW / MUSLIM SOCIETIES in the M.E. accomplished since 825 A.D.???

I ask these questions because I believe Western Civilization has out-performed all other cultures and if SHARIA and M.E. culture is imposed on the West – including the destruction of Israel – all the world will be repressed and ruined.

The fate of Israel is the fate of the world.
