And Netanyahu’s Son’s Comments Are “Sooo Offensive” Because . . . ?

By Debbie Schlussel

Remember when the entire Fogel Family, a Jewish family in Israel, was brutally bludgeoned to death (including the beheading of the baby) by Palestinian terrorists, while the family slept on the Jewish Sabbath? Well, Yair Netanyahu, son of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu posted some very tame and extremely spot on statements on his Facebook page about it. None of the things he said are anything that anyone with a brain would see as anything but obvious. Frankly, he’s saying stuff his father should have the balls to say but won’t or can’t or whatever.

Son of a Netanyahu: Yair Netanyahu Tells Truth About Islam, Terrorism, World Can’t Handle It

Still, the entire World Kingdom of Political Correctness and Thou Shalt Not Dare Speak the Truth is outraged–OUTRAGED!–by this edition of “Ice Cream Is Cold, The Sun Is Hot, And Other Stuff The World Can’t Handle”:

“Terror has a religion and it is Islam,” the Haaretz newspaper said Yair Netanyahu, who is also a soldier in the Israeli army, wrote after a Jewish family was killed in March in the occupied West Bank. . . .

Amongst other comments Netanyahu was said to have posted were that Palestinians “have no land, this is part of Israel, never in history was there a Palestinian state.”

He also said that “not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims.”

OMG, can you believe he just said that? I mean, after all, no terrorists are Muslim. The majority are Wiccan, Zoroastrian, and Ghost of Jonestown, aren’t they? The thing is, not all covens of Wicca, just most of ‘em.

Witches and Warlockshu Akbar!

So Yair is in the Israeli Army now? Can you imagine what his superiors are thinking – “what a set of proven genes with have with this one!” It’s probably a good place for him right now. Speaking Truth to Political Correctness can be even more risky than speaking Truth to Power in this world.

wake up and learn it

muslims are the agents of satan

how much more evidence
does anyone need

koran is the book of satan
read it for yourself

we are under siege from
evil itself

but when it seems that the sword
of the swine of islam will triumph

there will be

divine intervention

The fools of America and crooked pols who think muslims just want to live in peace and mind their own business won’t get it until their babies are beheaded.

bobby99 on June 26, 2011 at 10:44 pm

Smart kid! I like him and I see him following in his father’s footsteps one day. Yair’s only crime was to tell the truth – we can’t have that as we all know Islam is the Religion Of Peace!

He’s a heck of a lot more intelligent than people twice his age. If they can’t or won’t face the truth, that’s not his problem.

Yasher Koach!

Haaretz managed to get the comments deleted from Facebook.

Now there are things you can’t say if Haaretz doesn’t like them.

Re: Debbie’s Headline:

“And Netanyahu’s Son’s Comments Are ‘Sooo Offensive’ Because . . . ?”

Two answers:

1) From an objective point of view … Umm… Umm… nope, can’t think of a reason–unless the truth itself is offensive. Which leads me to …

2) Why some people would be offended by Netanyahu’s son’s comments are best expalined by Jack Nicholson–talking to those so offended by Netanyahu’s son’s comments:

People get easily offended over anything that resembles reason and common sense these days. That didn’t begin with the Facebook remark of Yair Netanyahu and they won’t end with him.

NormanF on June 26, 2011 at 11:14 pm

We have the absurd state of affairs in our world that we literally can’t say anything bad about Islam but we can humiliate grandmothers by making them remove their diapers so we can pretend Islam doesn’t slaughter infidels.

That’s what we’ve come to today.

NormanF on June 26, 2011 at 11:40 pm

…because he speaks the truth. And in our PC world we can’t have none of that, now can we?

Go, Yair! Courage in action! Tell the truth, for it shall set you free!

What did you run away from? What’s racist about “Boycott Arab Businesses?” The ESSENCE of racism, as I’ve said before, is the belief in INNATE diferences, the belief that “They’re born that way.” When did Mr. Netanyahu say that anybody was born any way?

Miranda Rose Smith on June 27, 2011 at 8:23 am

Ran, as an Israeli Jew, there are far, far more egregious things that you ought to be offended by.

You’re not a good Israeli Jew if you’re offended by an absolute truth. You’re part of the problem in Israel. THAT offends me.

If you truly an Israeli, as a Christian I have you beat on caring about Israel. Shame on YOU!

Skunky on June 27, 2011 at 10:24 am

It is not racism when you are at war. Israel is in an open war with Arabs and other Muslims. How many Jewish businesses are there in Syria, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, etc. Do not throw the word racism around when you have no idea what it means or what it refers to.

Maurice Eisenstein on June 27, 2011 at 3:13 pm

    Ran,

As a religious Jew with dual citizenship, I am offended by your hostility towards Yair Netanyahu for saying things that self hating quislings like you wouldn’t dare say. What kind of man without balls would call him a racist? Only a man like you who is chained by political correctness. And to think you find his remarks offensive despite the fact that the Arab world declared a boycott on Israeli products and have nothing to say about that.Or how about when the “holy koran” refers to Jews as being descendants of apes and pigs? But you rather waste your breath attacking those who are defending your existence for having the audacity to state the correlation between terrorism and Islam.Never mind that people like Yair are putting their lives on the line to protect your ass from these “victims” of his “racist remarks” who want to kill you.You are a disgrace and bring shame to the Israeli people who don’t share your self hating defeatist attitude and would sooner see Israel in flames rather than offending the sensibilities of a Muslim terrorist.

American Sabrah, well written and well said. As for you Ran, you are nothing but a schmuck and a Benedict Arnold amongst Israeli people. Ran, you would rather take the side of Palestinian terrorist who would cut open your neck and throw your lifeless body down a well instead of taking the side of the Israeli IDF and Netanyahu’s son who’s in the battefield defending your own rights to exist in this world.

Folks, this Ran characther is living in his own “ivory tower” world, he’s living in a parallel world, where he see’s evil good and good evil, it’s all backwards for this Ran moron. And it wouldn’t surprise me if Ran is apart of some far left activist group(s) in Israel? And we have some far left activist groups here in the USA, and we all know who they are so I don’t have to identify those far left groups here in the US!

American Sabrah on June 27, 2011 at 3:32 pm

First, the fact that Yair is serving in the IDF shows the huge difference between Israeli (Jewish) politicians and their counterparts in the western world (as well as elsewhere) where most prodigy of politicians wouldn’t dream of serving in their country’s armed forces…

Eliezer on June 27, 2011 at 6:59 am

Yup. The children of the powerful and privileged don’t see military service as an honorable calling in America. And because there’s no longer a draft, they don’t have to serve. In Israel, army service is not only an obligation but a source of pride. Yair knows more about the the world than people who know next to nothing about Israel’s circumstances do. I hope he stands up to his own father even as his Facebook comments were deleted and not because they weren’t factually true. They may be gone now but it doesn’t change the fact he wrote them.

NormanF on June 27, 2011 at 1:02 pm

Ran,

You oppose a call to boycott Arab businesses supposedly on the grounds that it’s “racist”.

Do you similarly oppose the BDS movement?!… I have no doubt that when the question is posed like this you’ll answer in the affirmative… Pardon me for not entirely believing you…

Eliezer on June 27, 2011 at 7:02 am

It never ends, does it? Would those who are so quick to use the word “RACIST”, please take the time to use a DICTIONARY to learn the definitions of: BIAS, BIGOTRY, DISCRIMINATION, PREJUDICE, & RACISM.

As far as I am concerned, a non-violent BOYCOTT is an acceptable way to make a point. No one has the right force another to buy or to use something he or she does not wish to buy or to use.

So, Ran, please engage brain before speaking or writing. Also, I believe Yair’s last name is “NETANYAHU” not “NETANYAHOO”. Again, a dictionary would be helpful. Or, simply read Debbie’s information and copy her spellings.

My admiration for Yaer netanyahu. He uttered the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Actually the I slamic society is now in turmoil. Many Moslems are nominal Moslems nothing else. They are too lazt to renounce Islam publicly or may be too afraid to do that. But there is a violent revolt inside Islam on Islam itself all but silent and secret.

G. R. SCHAROUBIM on June 27, 2011 at 9:35 am

What is sad is that this is how Binyamin Netanyahu used to feel when he was a commando in the IDF.

I have always wondered about what exactly happened to Binyamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak that turned them from patriots and warriors in the IDF to mealy-mouthed slimy politicians. People forget that Netanyahu’s brother was killed during a commando raid fighting these followers of the “religion of peace”. I’m sure that he loved his brother and if my brother was killed, I would never forget it or forgive the people who did it.

Really, what happpened to these guys ??? Israel so desperately needs real leaders, not politicians afraid to speak the truth.

It’s all right there like the spaghetti sauce commercial used to say. It’s in there.

samurai on June 27, 2011 at 10:12 am

Mores the pity that as the son of the Prime Minister he wasn’t allowed to speak the truth. Within two hours of posting he was forced to delete the comments. While shariah law is overtaking the world we are worried about political correctness. “sigh”

Naomi R on June 27, 2011 at 10:21 am

Just to show how much play this non-story is getting, I googled “Yair Netanyahu Bible quiz” to see if this is the Netanyahu son who nearly won Israel’s recent Bible Quiz competition; it was actually his brother Avner. But the top search results themselves all referred to Yair’s comments about Muslims!

As to his comment that “not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims”, it’s not quite all but “close enough for government work”. Some of us are old enough to recall the Baader Meinhoff terror gang of the 1970s, the Shining Path terrorists of Peru, the ETA in Spain, the Weather Underground in the US, and the Tamil Tigers – none of whom are/were Muslim. But most of those have been defeated. And it’s fair to say that most terrorists today *are* operating out of Islamic motivation.

Ran

You do know, don’t you, that all Arab countries are required to boycott anyone who deals w/ Israel, and there is an office in Damascus that enforces that.

Yair was absolutely correct – Islam is the religion of terrorism, Arabs (very specifically Muslims, including non-Arab Muslims) should be boycotted, and there was never any Palestinian state or people (even during the various Arab and Turkish sultanates, they were part of either Egypt or Syria at any time)

Yair, put your stuff on a new website of your own, not on Facebook!

The father is good, but the son is grrrrrrrrreat!!!

Infidel Pride on June 27, 2011 at 11:58 am

More power to Yair.
Yes , he should have his own website.
As for what happened to change Bibi, E.Barak, (and Sharon) from what they once were….I suspect it has something to do with stuff emanating out of the (Arabist) State Dept. Perhaps an offer that’s ‘impossible’ to refuse.

Not Ovenready on June 27, 2011 at 1:10 pm

As Art Linkletter would say, “kids say the darndest things.” I also suspect that the State Dept is behind the weakening of Israel… all because an administration wants to have a legacy of having created “peace in the middle east” or because of their pro-muslim roots/apathy.

c/p today: “On numerous occassions over the past year Israeli Jews have errantly entered Arab neighborhoods in eastern Jerusalem only to narrowly escape with their lives. Israeli commentators say the younger generation of Arabs has been so radicalized by a Palestinian school system full of anti-Jewish incitement that they will try to kill any Jew on sight.”

Other tidbits

1-Educated Vancouver muslim woman gets her eyes gouged out and nose bitten off by her husband in Bangladesh.
2- Taliban in Afghanistan straps bomb to 8 year old girl then blows her and several infidels up by remote control.
3-Nigeria – non-muslims murdered by string of bombings as group attempting to impose sharia law do what the koran tells them to do – i.e.- murder, maim, enslave.
4- muslim bombs kill close to 100 in iraq.

Thanks, Shadow. I read English newspapers, not Scottish ones, and so didn’t know about this. From the council website:’Attempts to depict this boycott as racist are also entirely inaccurate. The boycott was instigated in response to conduct by the Israeli state and applies to no specific ethnic or religious group. The Council has robust ant-racist and anti-sectarian policies and procedures.

Could you imagine if Delta Airlines put out a memo and said, “On behalf of Delta Airlines, were not going to carry muslims to Israel”, I can bet your ass that CAIR and other muslim fifth column pressure groups will be filing lawsuits against Delta Airlines, I can guarantee you something like that would occur?

Some 1300 years ago, after the Arabs, driven mad by murderous devotion to Islam, ruined the entire pennisula before infecting their disease upon North Africa, into Asia and parts of Europe, did they create a Palestinian state from the land they stole? Not really.

Yes, kids, they stole it. Arabs were just one ethnic group in the middle east, the whole pennisula may bear their name now, but history belongs to the victors and their apologist toadies. “Palestine” belongs to Arabs as much as Russia belongs to Mongolia.
