DISGUSTING: Obama Recognizes Muslim Brotherhood – Parent of Al-Qaeda, HAMAS

By Debbie Schlussel

It’s official: America sanctions Islamic terrorism and breaks bread with it. For eight years, the Bush Administration refused to list the Muslim Brotherhood on the State Department and Treasury terrorist lists. But, now, Barack Obama has crossed a line in the sand from which America can hardly return: we are recognizing Islamic terrorists . . . officially. We are breaking bread, er . . . halal pita, with the Muslim Brotherhood, the parent organization that gave birth to both Al-Qaeda and HAMAS. Frankly, this is no different than America actually recognizing Al-Qaeda and HAMAS. And that’s basically what’s happening here. Incredible. Incredibly sickening.

obamasmiling.jpg

At this point, it’s well beyond solidified that any Republican (except Ron Paul) will be a better President. ANY. All. This guy MUST. GO. If Sarah Palin were the nominee, I would even vote for her. This guy is unAmerican. It’s not American to recognize any Islamic terrorist group bent on the West’s destruction. This isn’t about Israel. It’s about the long-term survival of the West. Period. And Barack Obama is a soldier for the other side.

The U.S. has decided to formally resume contact with Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood group – which does not recognize Israel. . . .

One senior U.S. official said the Brotherhood’s rise in political prominence after the forced departure of former President Hosni Mubarak earlier this year makes the American contact necessary.

“The political landscape in Egypt has changed, and is changing… It is in our interests to engage with all of the parties that are competing for parliament or the presidency,” said the official, who confirmed the news to Reuters on condition of anonymity. . . .

Muslim Brotherhood spokesman Mohamed Saad el-Katatni told Reuters that no American contact with the group has yet been made, but he added: “We welcome such relationships with everyone because those relations will lead to clarifying our vision.”

The article above mentions the red herring Jewish voters (I’ve removed the passage), as if this is a Jewish issue, as if the groups and jihadists the Brotherhood spawned are not a threat to America and the rest of the West. A reader writes:

You gotta love how this report about Obama’s possible direct connection to the Muslim Brotherhood refracts it through the prism of how it might affect Jewish voters as opposed to how asinine it is in general and therefore how destructive it is to the whole world. No wonder Obama, as evinced as recently as yesterday in that presser, views everything that happens through the prism of how it affects him personally. No wonder he’s such a spoiled child.

Spot on.

Alhamdillullah [praise allah], Brother Barack has completed the transformation.

If this guy is not a “Manchurian Candidate,” he might as well be. He’s doing the work of the West’s enemies more than even they could have ever fantasized. Party time at harems and/or with wife #4 all over Egypt and the rest of the Sunni world, tonight.

Dear Deb,

I agree.

Debbie: that hit me like a 2 X 4 to the back of the head when I read it: “alienate some Jewish voters” WHAT THE FREAK?? You mean the rest of us infidels and some of the other remaining Jewish voters aren’t supposed to be “alienated” by this?

This is nightmarish.

“One senior U.S. official said the Brotherhood’s rise in political prominence after the forced departure of former President Hosni Mubarak earlier this year makes the American contact necessary.”

What a pathetic excuse. Hamas and other muzzie terrorist organizations have political power. Will B. Hussein Obama recognize and talk to them as well?

Jarhead on June 30, 2011 at 3:56 pm

    Dear Deb,

Ron Paul isn’t really better on this subject. he votes in lockstep with Kucinich and accepts donations from StormFront. I went to Medical School in Galveston in the late 80s. The man is a scumbag. Faced with a choice between Paul and Obama, move to Australia.

OT: You’re right, but he’s against any foreign policy, which is better than recognizing Muslim Brotherhood and sending them aid. DS

    Occam's Tool on June 30, 2011 at 7:27 pm

Well, who didn’t see this coming? It’s all in keeping with his outreach not just to the general Muslim world but specifically to the Muslim Brotherhood.

In 2009, Obama specifically insisted that the Muslim Brotherhood not be excluded from his Cairo speech. That same year, Sec’y Clinton lifted the ban on Tariq Ramadan, grandson of the founder of the Brotherhood, Hassan al’ Banna. (He’s now teaching in the US.) Obama appointed an emissary to the OIC, and a number of individuals with links to Brotherhood fronts in the US to posts in the White House and Homeland Security. Heck, Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff has family links to the Brotherhood.

The next thing to look forward to is an open call to reach out to “moderate” elements in Hamas and Hizbullah. It’s happened already on the QT, but soon they’ll be up front about it.

Raymond in DC on June 30, 2011 at 3:57 pm

Maybe BHO is engaged with all the other muslimes. They are talking to the Taliban after all, and we all know how great the Taliban is for protecting human rights.

Jarhead on June 30, 2011 at 4:02 pm

Jarhead, didn’t Obama said that “were not at war with islam, but where at war with al-quaida”? I remember he gave a speech like that after his inauguration a few years ago. Jarhead, you where here when DS criticized Bush for his islamopandering during his eight years in office and Bush to claimed the samething that Obama said regarding towards islam. And whoever thinks that the taliban is pro-human rights better get their heads examine, because last I checked the taliban are anything but pro-human rights, there just as bad and disgusting as hamas, hezbollah, al-quiada, etc.

As far as I am concerned the American people forfeited the right to vote for President in the last election. The founding fathers did not trust the American people with such an important decision (The same for choosing Senators) so they left it up to each state legislature to determine the selection of Presidential electors. It turned out that each state legislature allows the people living in each state to have a vote.

It is not like no one knew this sort of thing was possible. Based on Obama’s background (including 20 years in that church), his friends, those he chose to advise him and other factors predicting something like this was not brain surgery. Only someone who lacks the understanding of who a President should be could ever even think of voting for Obama. That should disqualify anyone who would vote for Obama from even having a vote. Yet most people, including over 70% of Jews, voted for Obama.

Unfortunately the state legislatures will not have the guts to do the right think and take the vote away from the irresponsible public.

I_AM_ME on June 30, 2011 at 4:10 pm

Obama won cuz he had no record, the voters had Bush fatigue and the GOP owned the economy. He made a bigger mess of it than Bush did. I’ll be happy to say I won’t miss him in 2013.

It would be nice, if, in the debt talks and the IMF deliberations, there was discussion about halting the tens of billions in aid to Egypt and other terrorists in that part of the world.

Little Al on June 30, 2011 at 4:42 pm

Obama is an agent of the Satan. For Jews, instead of getting mad at him, we should look at ourselves and see how we can improve our character. If the Jewish people focuses more on spiritual matters and Hashem, the Obamas of the world wouldn’t have positions of power.

Having said that, I would vote for any Republican over this lowlife scum.

David on June 30, 2011 at 5:00 pm

I believe we have been a curse to the seed of Abraham and as a result are being forced from our homes by nature with floods, tornadoes, drought and wildfires. The longer this guy occupies the White House, the worse it is going to get. God will not stand idly by while we make nice with the enemies of Israel. I didn’t have a whole lot of love for George W. Bush, but the day he left the White House was one of the saddest days of my life because I knew the new guy was nothing but trouble for our nation.

first the muslim pos obama t5he half breed MONGREL orders mubarak overthrown. his spokesman immediately then said the muslim brotherhood was now reformed. in libya he overthrows or tries to overthrow khadafy who was absolutely no danger to the west for over 30 years and wants a islamist group and helps them take over the country. at same time wont lift a finger to help civilians in iran or syria. orders israel to surrender.

hopefully pakistan does the same thing to this murderer personally in the eye, in the usa that he did in pakistan. it will be cheered louder in the usa than in pakistan if they get the job done.

The truth has always been out there for those who have wanted to see it. If one has listened to Rush Limbaugh since the week before this POS was stupidly elected by lazy and uninformed Americans, you should know what this freak is all about.

And you should be outraged how he is destroying USA. And all his lies (which are legion)…and how the MSM covers for this FRAUD.

Pardon me if I don’t fight or shed tears for Mark Halperin, a MaObama stooge who recently called him a “dick” and is now suspended from MSNBC. Oh, his assessment was right, but how dare he!/

This moron CAN’T win again. I think everyone who comes here should know how deathly serious this is when DS says she’ll vote for ANYONE but him. I know I am because I am so upset what this moron is getting away with…in plain sight.

(And you know, even the morons who haven’t a clue about politics and who watch Soap Operas daily SHOULD be able to see that he and his atrocious looking wife are not leaders, but they sure are addicted to all the perks of the job. They travel and OFTEN. Yet what is most outrageous is that the MSM refuses to report on it, be dismayed by it or even recognize the fleecing AT ALL. The trips AND all the food they eat in public.)

Skunky on June 30, 2011 at 6:56 pm

Its one reason why Obama must be denied a second term. He won’t lose cuz of the MB issue. He will lose due to the economy. It doesn’t matter who the Republicans run against him, he has a record now and its far outside the American mainstream.

Don’t look for things to improve here between now and November 2012.

NormanF on June 30, 2011 at 7:04 pm

Elder of Ziyon had this to say about it:

“Meeting with MB leaders does not necessarily mean approving of their philosophy, and if it is done right, it can help matters in Egypt.

It all depends on having clear ground rules ahead of time and having diplomats who are experienced enough to know when they are being played. The current US ambassador to Syria has been shown to be an incompetent idiot that Assad’s regime has fooled and manipulated to great advantage. But that does not have to be the case when you have diplomats who know what they are doing.

I can see how it can even benefit Israel to have back channels to talk to the MB, in matters such as Gilad Shalit or to get subtle messages to Hamas.

If the State Department is careful on how to engage with the MB, and checks the information being told to its diplomats with other sources, this can be valuable. A blanket “don’t talk” policy is not always wise. ”

http://elderofziyon.blogspot.com/2011/06/us-to-engage-with-egyptian-muslim.html

I think that would only work if you have a president who views the MB as an enemy.

Dutch Renitent on June 30, 2011 at 7:20 pm

I agree limited contacts would be of benefit. Subject to the following ground rule: provided we understand we are not going to make Islamists into democrats or make them love America. I don’t think Obama understands that about the MB. Considering how he’s managed to sidle up to every dictatorship on the planet and trash the few friends we have left, if anything, the MB will tell him what he wants to hear rather than our telling them we mean business. Don’t kid yourself into thinking our “outreach” will moderate an Islamist-run Egypt. We lost that when we helped to throw Mubarak out there.

NormanF on June 30, 2011 at 7:32 pm

I think using flamethrower tanks would be an even better communication tool with the MB.

    Occam's Tool on June 30, 2011 at 7:36 pm

You could go to the funeral home…pick up a corpse…sit it in the Oval Office….and it would be an improvement over the empty suit that occupies it now. What a mess ! ! !

Arejaymack on June 30, 2011 at 7:25 pm

Although Islam has spread under the pretense of being a religion for more than a thousand years, it has never attempted to transcend cultural barriers or differences by espousing brotherly love and acceptance of said differences in order to win over new converts as legitimate religions do. Instead, Islam chooses to punish ideological differences, operating as a totalitarian system of bigotry, violence, and murder—even condoning such within its own ranks in the name of “honor.” Terrorism should never be interpreted as a valid religion or political system.

Diane and Brian:

I disagree with Debbie: Paul is worse than Obummer. However, you folks are worse than Paul. QED.

By the way: in 1979, when I was tested, my ACT was 33, and my SAT was 1420. I received about $33,000 in scholarships, including a free tuition ride to TCU. I was accepted to two US Medical schools on the first go-around. Paul’s brain impresses me not, and neither do yours.

My MCAT score to get accepted to Medical school was higher than the average at Harvard: 68. I passed my Psychiatry Specialty Boards the first time (the pass rate was 50% for both written and verbal subsections independently), and reboarded in 2005 with one of the highest scores in the Country, a 92% on an exam curved 3 points—the lowest grade was 67%.

I think Skunky’s much brighter than you.

OT: On second thought, I agree with you on Paul being even worse. Would never ever vote for him in any instance, anyway. DS

Something even more lovely: Israelis get extra checks when detained by ICE while the Muslim World is laughing its ass off at us:

“The Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General published the list of “specially designated countries” as an appendix to an unclassified May 11 report–”Supervision of Aliens Commensurate With Risk”–that was publicly posted on the Internet. (The appendix is on page 18 of the document.)

As a matter of policy, according to the Inspector Heneral’s report, citizens of Israel and other “specially designated countries” are subjected to a special security screening called a “Third Agency Check” (TAC) when they are actually detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the division of the Department of Homeland Security responsible for enforcing the immigration laws.”

Yup – you’re more dangerous as a visitor when you come from Israel than from a Muslim country. Gotta love Immigration and Customs Enfarcement’s determination Israel is a “specially designated country.” One guess who isn’t on that list!

NormanF on June 30, 2011 at 9:26 pm

Don’t be too sure about Obama losing. One reason is the Dems fight harder than the Republicans for their issues. There’s a huge population of victims that will vote for him, and a lot of people have the perception he’s good on foreign policy.

But the main problem is the lackluster Republicans who will hardly fight on anything. They even agree with him on cutting defense. And many agree with him on health care. So while I don’t support Obama, I don’t think we can underestimate him or overestimate the Republicans.

Little Al on June 30, 2011 at 9:56 pm

Actually, Deb, and I hesitate to point this out, but PAUL SUPPORTS HAMAS, like Kucinich.

The man is Amalek. Obama is actually Amalek, Jr.

OT: He supports HAMAS? Where? I haven’t seen that, though his views and behavior are tacitly in support of HAMAS, with his contributions from Stormfront, his 9/11 Trutherism, etc. Either way, he’s a nut and I would never ever vote for him. DS

Occam's Tool on June 30, 2011 at 9:57 pm

    Deb:

There is reason to conclude that Ron Paul supports Hamas. I hate to say it because for many years, I gave Paul the benefit of the doubt; saying he was an Isolationist.

His support from Stormfront and other anti-Semitic groups is born in the fact that Fascism grows and nurtures in an Isolationist environment. Or so I thought. I gave him the benefit of the doubt for a long time.

Then came Operation Caste Lead. Remember that?

Well… check out the congressional roll call when the House of Representatives passed a resolution supporting Israel’s right to defend itself against HAMAS. Some of the most notorious members of the “Debbie Schlussel bad-guy list” voted FOR the resolution; Jihad Darrel, Jesse Jr, Ray LaHood, Nick Rahall, Conyers, Rangell. I could go on. I kid you not! It was darn near unanimous.

My memory might not be perfectly accurate on the roll call because some of these guys might have voted present, but only ONE guy voted AGAINST the measure: Ron Paul.

Ron Paul’s vote against the measure stood against a TON of “Debbie Schlussel bad-guys” that you would never expect to vote for a pro-Israel measure of any kind. Maybe you can find the exact roll call, but I’m pretty sure Ron Paul was the lone dissenter.

THAT is what I call pro-HAMAS and the cat is out of the bag as far as Ron Paul is concerned.

Fortunately, Ron Paul is a babbling idiot.

TINSC: Thanks for the info. I’d never vote for him anyway. He’s insane. Certifiable. DS

The best ticket from a consultant’s perspective would be Pawlenty-Rubio, Pawlenty-McDonnell, or Pawlenty-Nikki Haley. The Republican candidate is going to have to make big inroads in the Midwest (Indiana and Ohio plus either Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, or Michigan) and the Southeast (Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia). Have to hope that New Hampshire goes, as well.

Tanstaafl on June 30, 2011 at 10:40 pm

Debbie would vote for Palin? I can’t fault her logic, but I don’t think it will be necessary. Romney is going to be the nominee. If Michelle Bachman starts getting to much attention THEN Palin and Rick Perry jump into the race. Romney automatically gets about thirty-five percent, who are mostly the moderate, blue-blood, establishment types. Palin and Perry siphon off votes from Bachman the same way Huckabee and Thompson siphoned off votes that could have posed a threat to the blue-bloods’ beloved McCain. Perry gets on ticket as VP nominee for his compliance. Conservatives told to “fall in line” behind Romney after South Carolina or Florida primary, just like we were told to fall in line behind McCain in 2008.

CornCoLeo on June 30, 2011 at 11:12 pm

You might be right, CornCoLeo, though it doesn’t matter to me which one of them gets the nomination (see my post below this one). However, I am curious as to why Sarah Palin would want to conspire with Mitt Romney and Rick Perry to make sure that Romney gets the Republican nomination for President?

JeffE on July 1, 2011 at 12:10 am

After claiming to be a “Tea Partier”, but then endorsing McCain (Mr “Gang of 14″, open borders, cap & tax advocate) against an obviously more conservative candidate in Arizona, it is clear that she is part of the GOP blue-blood establishment and will do whatever she’s told to help their candidate (Romney) get the nomination. She’s not conspiring with Romney, she’s colluding with the GOP establishment. Perry would probably be doing so also if he chooses to run. If Palin wasn’t part of the establishment, and was an actual Tea Partier, should would have endorsed Hayworth. If she felt bad about endorsing Hayworth after McCain had her on the ticket, then she could have just STFU and let it be fought out by Arizonans. I don’t know if that makes sense to anybody else, it just seems that way to me.

CornCoLeo on July 1, 2011 at 10:46 am

It won’t be long till Obama recognizes Al Qaeda as a political organization and remove them from the Treasury terrorist list.Would it surprise you if he did? For some reason, I am not shocked that he did what he did considering that he comes from a Muslim background. He has always been more sympathetic towards the Arabs/Muslims and their agenda.
Furthermore,Israel is a country that protects and promotes terrorism according to the US state department.

AS: I’ve erased that link you posted, as the story is a lie. Israel was added to no such list. It’s simply false. It’s about aliens who get extra screening. Has nothing to do with Israel supporting terrorism. Here’s the truth about the list:

American Sabrah on July 1, 2011 at 2:42 am

No one said Israel sponsored or promoted terrorism. My initial reaction turned out to be wrong. The fact is there are people in Israel – Arabs who DO sponsor/promote terrorism. Those are the people who will now be subjected to extra ICE scrutiny. Israeli Jews have to get that check too – but they will pass. Muslims and some Christians won’t and they will be sent back to Israel. That’s the only reason Israel is the one non-Muslim country on the ICE list. Its a reminder its Muslims there, like those here in our country, are far from moderate. Just the exact opposite. And when conservatives defend a scurrilous lie, like Debbie has documented in her next post, it only hurts our country and helps our enemies. Its sad to see ostensibly intelligent people behave like complete morons and hysterically oppose, without any basis in fact and any critical thinking, the one program that actually screens out dangerous people who aren’t coming to America with innocent intentions in mind. A false sense of regard for Israel is not helping the Jewish State – or protecting America from would be Islamic terrorists.

NormanF on July 1, 2011 at 9:18 pm

The bottom line on BHO’s Muslim Brotherhood theme is this ;
‘“A Muslim Brotherhood regime would take control of a massive Egyptian army, twice the size of Israel’s, trained by the U.S., possessing ballistic missiles, chemical weapons, hundreds of U.S.-made warplanes, thousands of tanks and dozens of ships, purchased with over $40 billion of U.S. military aid. The Muslim Brotherhood may not attain ultimate power in Egypt in the immediate future, but its path to such power is being laid today – and facilitated by President Obama.”

The above is frightening whilst the USA turns into a third world country with China, India and Russia waiting in the wings.

Eyes Wide Open on July 1, 2011 at 7:28 pm

Debbie hasn’t changed her mind about Palin’s qualifications. At this point you have to be a moron not to see any Republican can and will beat Obama. Its the economy, stupid. Reagan won a second term cuz the voters liked the job he did turning it around. That’s why all those “Its morning in America” ads were so effective. People believed back then that was true. Americans in contrast, today are worried about a government’s that’s too big, a huge national debt, high unemployment, high gas and living costs and whether their children will even have a future. Obama’s domestic policies threaten them on every one of those things. He can’t fix it all by the time it comes for him to be re-elected and unlike Reagan he wants to raise taxes. What a tonic for our economic recovery! NOT. Nothing is going to get better in his last year and a half in office. Both his Marxist nostrums and his kissing the MB’s behind are dangerous for America. But in the end it all comes down to the economy and you can see that every day here and Americans don’t see an uptick in sight in the foreseeable future.
