ABSURD: Israel Frees More Terrorists for Leftist Israeli Helping Egypt’s Muslims

By Debbie Schlussel

Remember the three far-left “American” Iranian hikers who attacked America and Israel and continue to do so?  America wasted over two years of time and resources (and a lot of money) to get them freed to continue their attacks on our country.  Imagine, though, if we had also freed 75 hardened Islamic terrorists from Guantanamo Bay, too, to get them freed from Iran?  That’s essentially what Israel just did to free far-left activist Ilan Grapel from Egypt.  It was bad enough that Israel freed 1,027 mass-murdering Islamic terrorists for the freedom of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.  But he was serving Israel and was kidnapped.

Ilan Grapel @ Tahrir Square w/ His Muslim Anti-Israel Buddies

Grapel, who holds dual U.S. and Israeli citizenship, went to Egypt on his own to help Muslim extremists in their phony “democracy” BS.  Israel should have let him rot there.  But, instead, Israel freed 25 hardened Islamic terrorists to Egypt to get Grapel freed.  It’s insane. And it should make no difference that Grapel was accused of being an Israeli spy, just as the three anti-Israel Americans were by Iran. The trade only lends credence to that BS. The guy, Grapel, is an anti-Israel activist who betrayed Israel and the West to help Muslims. Now, he’s being rewarded for it by Israel. Beyond nauseating. What is Nothingyahu’s excuse for this one?

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet approved on Tuesday a prisoner exchange deal with Egypt to release suspected Israeli spy Ilan Grapel in exchange for 25 Egyptian prisoners.

Under the terms of the newly approved deal, Grapel is due to be released this coming Thursday.

The cabinet’s unanimous decision came after an Israeli negotiation team met Monday with Grapel in Cairo to update him on his upcoming release from Egyptian prison where he has been held since June 12.

Attorney Yitzhak Molcho and MK Yisrael Hasson (Kadima), who met with Grapel at the Egyptian intelligence headquarters, reported that Grapel was in good health, and that negotiations between Egypt and Israel would continue in order to secure the release of Ouda Tarabin, an Israeli Bedouin who has been held by Egypt for 11 years on charges of espionage.

According to Hasson, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should be credited for “handling the sensitive situation” of round-the-clock negotiations.

Yup, he should be “credited” for this outrage. Idiot.

The U.S. has been especially active in trying to secure Grapel’s release during the last two months.

Hmmm … what is the U.S. offering to trade for his freedom?

In a statement published by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, Israel and Egypt reached a deal to release the suspected spy, saying that Grapel is to be released in exchange for 25 Egyptian prisoners, including three minors.

However, despite claims by Israeli officials, according to which the deal would set free only Egyptian prisoners jailed over criminal offences, a report in the Egyptian newspaper al-Masry al-Youm said that the Grapel deal would include two security offenders, charged with planning to target sites within Israel in cooperation with Palestinian militants.

Translation: they’re Islamic terrorists. And, now, some sense from the man who should be running Israel instead of Netanyahu:

Responding to the cabinet’s approval of the Grapel swap deal, National Union MK Aryeh Eldad criticized the decision to release the suspected Israeli spy for 25 prisoners, saying that the deal indicated that “Israel has declared moral bankruptcy.”

“After freeing murderous terrorists for a drug dealer [DS: Elchanan Tannenbeaum, who was also a double agent for Hezbollah] it is freeing drug dealers for a professional anarchist who worked against Israel in Bil’in,” Eldad said, referring to the 2004 exchange deal between Israel and Hezbollah in which 430 prisoners were released for retired IDF officer Elhanan Tannenbaum, who was reportedly involved in a drug deal before being kidnapped by the Lebanese militant group.

“The State is emptying all concepts of law and justice from meaning. Tomorrow, they could offer the wholesale release of foreign workers indicted in Israel for robbery or rape in exchange of Israelis who sold drugs in Japan or Thailand,” Eldad said.

So, if America wasn’t willing to release terrorists for this far-leftists scumbag’s freedom, why should Israel? And why did Israel? Again, what is Nothingyahu’s excuse for this one? Crickets chirping. . . .

As Hezbollah noted, they are already planning to kidnap more Israelis to get the rest of the (murderous) prisoners back from Israel.Geez, Israel has not learned anything from the Holocaust. The only way to deal with those who seek to destroy us is to destroy the enemy first.

Israel should respond to kidnapping by bombing the country (or Gaza) from whence the kidnapping was committed. The bombing of infrastructure, terrorist hideouts, etc would continue until the kidnap victim is returned alive.

Jon, this bartering in human lives is now without limits. So if an Israeli is kidnapped anywhere in the world, surrendering to terrorists is now Israel’s default policy? Looks like it.

There may have been a thin rationale for getting Shalit freed. There is none for springing Grapel from Egyptian prison.

Awaiting the next kidnapping of an Israeli, 3.2.1…

Unbelievable that some douchebag who is with the enemy can beg his country Israel to free him for 25 prisoners. Wow. What happened to not bargaining with terrorists? He should have gotten the Laura Logan treatment there in Egypt and maybe he would get some consideration. And what did Hillary and KING HUSSEIN OBAMA offer to Egypt? The problem is how much will America give for this faux “Arab Spring”? Libya and Egypt will ultimately milk us to get their BS phony “democracies” set up.

Actually, the Israeli political stratum wants to release Muslims. Grapel is just another pretext (as Shalit was). Muslims can be counted on to kill Jews, especially Jews in the suburbs that are called “settlements.” Muslims can keep the “rabbis” of Israel in line too. The only time the elites actually care about Jewish deaths is when they happen in Tel Aviv.

Israel is not a democratic republic, which is evident from its lack of a constitution and its laughable Knesset, which is not based on geographically defined districts with direct voting by constituents for their representatives. Ben-Gurion knew of these defects and was said to regret them. Maybe, maybe not. While a small minority of citizens always has disproportionate influence, the influence of Israel’s elite group is extreme. This is why retreads are so often brought back as PM, or Defense Minister, etc. This is why the Muz are pampered. This is why a PM can be brought to power as a rightist and then become more leftist than the leftists.

Grown-up Jews in the US should learn the truth about Israel’s political system or Jewish life there will continue to be endangered. There is only one “Spring” movement that will bring good results in the M.E., and that is an Israeli Spring.

And what is the truth? There are two peoples in Eretz Israel that are very different: Israelis-first (“Israelis”) and Jews-first (“Jews”). Each people wants to control the other, and the leadership stratum comes mainly from the Israelis. “Rabbis” like Ovadiah Yo$ef and $halom Elia$hiv keep their mindless Tremblers (Haredim) under control for $$ from the government. Such “rabbis” are accomplices.

Neither of these two peoples is healthy. The “Jews” are a said lot, with their funny hats (Haredim) or their nature walks (Settlers). Their “observance” is comically low. They worry about sitting alongside a female on a bus, but they don’t mind Bnei Amalek worshiping on the Temple Mount.

The “Israelis” are sometimes not even Halachally Jewish (e.g., from Russia/Eastern Bloc). Anyway, they rightly fear that the Jews will become religious tyrants if they gain power. After all, what Jews do they experience? Yosefs and Eliashivs.

A corrupt system of laws produces a corrupt people. THAT is what we have in Israel, with its bloodthirsty elite and its dysfunctional mass. If we Jews make clear that we don’t buy the government’s malarkey any more, we actually might make a difference, as the government’s cynical games require that we play along.

Hi Skzion – your’s is a very interesting post. Are there any
moves afoot in Israel to a) create a constitution and b) reform the Knesset (with direct voting districts, etc.)?

Best wishes,

Nir

Jon Grant—

You nailed it, my friend.

“Geez, Israel has not learned anything from the Holocaust”

Of course, it didn’t help either that Israel was founded by a group of Leftist KumBaya hippies.

But then, we Americans didn’t learn anything from 9/11.

Not too surprising in a way — after all, the US and Israeli Governments have tended more and more to the left over time; they see these narcissistic spoiled brats as kindred spirits.

Little Al on October 26, 2011 at 10:58 am

Israel seems to be willing its own end at this point.

Worry01 on October 26, 2011 at 8:07 pm

Maybe the USA can adjust the thinking and in exchange for Israel going in to bat for their citizen, Illan Grapel, they can release prisoner Pollard as a gesture of goodwill. Hope that Mrs Grapel takes her boy home on a one way ticket to the States. Israel has enough on it’s plate without self inflicted loony lefties taking up residence in toxic environments without consideration for the outcome of their behaviour. Obviously Illan Grapel’s short memory never took note of the Italian Pali lover who parked himself there only to have his throat slit. An identified Joo with a common-sense gene by-pass.

Debbie, don’t think that Grappel is getting the same type of treatment in Israeli press that Shalit is. The “Shalit” experience has gotten politicians here to at least discuss capital punishment which is a step in the right direction. Grappel will never be seen as a hero and no doubt he’ll do something stupid like go to Iran and get executed one day. it could’ve just as easy been a stupid Israeli tourists in the Siani that got snagged.
