HUH? GOP & Dem Feminists Blame Secret Service Hooker Scandal on “Too Few” Chick Agents; ICE’s HookerGate

By Debbie Schlussel

The dumbest thing I’ve heard about the United States Secret Service hooker scandal comes from Democrat Carolyn Maloney of New York and far-left Republican Susan Collins of Maine.  They blame the scandal on the Secret Service’s “male culture” and whine that only 13% of current Secret Service agents are women.  It’s bunk.  Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has many female agents and was headed by a (really incompetent) chick, Julie L. Myers, when its own top agents not only patronized prostitutes, but had the chutzpah to charge the brothel payment on their ICE government credit cards.  One of the men who did this was one of Myers’ top deputy directors at ICE, and yet she shoved it under the rug, allowing him to retire with a full pension. Oh, and he did it in Thailand, while there on a mission regarding ICE’s work against sex tourism.

Feminist idiots who claim that women running the show–or even filling an equal number of slots–will stop prostitution scandals . . . well, they’re idiots or they must know what they are spewing is total BS.  The reason the Secret Service got caught in this scandal is the same reason Barack Obama is President, the Kartrashian bimbos are rich, and race-baiter Al-Sharpton has a show on a major NBC property:  the dumbing down of America–every single aspect of it.  The Secret Service has been dumbed down along with it.  And I should know, since I wrote about and researched this.

When I was in college in the late ’80s, I wrote a thesis paper on the United States Secret Service and how it changed since its founding.  I read everything I could about the agency.  And one thing that was different than from now is the discipline the agency had.  Where it was once basically a paramilitary organization, it’s now a lackluster, lazy bureaucracy.  In the ’80s, agents could have only limited facial hair (such as mustaches), and they were hyper-aware when working.  This was best detailed by former Secret Service Agent Marty Venker in his book (with George Rush,”Confessions of an Ex-Secret Service Agent.”  It was an interesting read.  Venker wrote about how he spent all of his time on Secret Service details focusing on two things–the person he was protecting and the potential threats in the immediate vicinity of that person.  Stuff was so intense that it severely affected Venker’s personal life.  And, in his off hours, he blew off steam in the dark underbelly of New York’s punk scene, where he became friends with people like Madonna before she hit it big.

And agents never talked about what they did much. When another agent, Dennis V.N. McCarthy, wrote “Protecting The President,” many of his fellow agents were angry. I think they also didn’t like that he took credit for helping save President Reagan from John Hinckley. But writing a book like that just wasn’t done.

But, now, we are in a Facebook world, with people making ever more jackasses of themselves. Now, we have goateed agents like David Chaney, the moron who posted on his Facebook account about how he was checking out Sarah Palin, along with the photo, below.  And Palin was 100% spot on when she says that Obama should worry about whether or not the agents are protecting his family (though she wasn’t spot on about any agents checking out Michelle Hussein Obama–just sayin’ that ain’t happenin’).  The agency has lowered its standards.  A top Detroit-area Secret Service agent was arrested for beating his wife.  And yet, despite legal papers filed in the matter, his gun and badge were never pulled, something which should–and used to be–standard procedure in such a case.

And the standards began falling a while ago.  When I was in college in the late ’80s, I was at a military show at the Cap Center, sitting with the Congressman I worked for that summer.  We were in front of President George H.W. Bush and then-Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney.  I was surprised when the Secret Service agent sitting behind me tried to pick me up and gave me his number.  I was thinking:  if he’s talking to me, who’s protecting the President?  Yes, there were other agents there, but still . . . .

And if the feminist idiots really think that the Secret Service hooker scandal is because there aren’t enough women, they should look at the women who’ve run ICE.  One of them, for example, Suzie Barr, is known by agents as Suzie “Stripper Pole” Bar, the Chief of Staff at ICE–and the person who is basically running the agency, as Janet Napolitano’s eyes and ears there.  Barr got her nickname because she refers to a structural support in her office as a stripper pole, and because she regularly degrades and sexually harasses male agents.  I’m told by many rightfully angry agents that Suzie Barr’s behavior includes summoning good-looking men to her office, dropping things, and making them bend over.

Uh-huh, if only there were more women Secret Service agents, right?

Surely, Collins and Maloney know better.  But they’ll use any opportunity for more affirmative action for women in federal law enforcement agencies, which already lower the standards to allow more women in.

The Secret Service has become like every other government bureaucracy.  And as in any other, boys will play.  And the women are no different.

They’re dumbed down, too. More so, because the standards are even more relaxed to enable their entry.

I remember when Jimmy Carter was President and the biggest “scandal” to hit the Secret Service was that the members of Jimmy Carter’s PPD (Personal Protection Detail) were all voting for Ronald Reagan. Then, their softball team wore yellow t-shirts which showed the Secret Service emblem with bullet holes through it on one side and the phrase, “You Elect ‘Em, We Protect ‘Em” on the other. (What I wouldn’t give for one of those t-shirts–been searching for one for decades.)

Those were the good old days. Maybe not in the White House, but at least among the men charged with protecting its then-occupant.

It is sad that these women are more concerned with pushing affirmative action than finding out why the Secret Service was so oblivious to the conduct of its own agents. Also, it was apparently a woman who was in charge of that group of agents:

As far as Obama goes, all male Secret Service agents should be replaced w/ female ones. Want to avoid any pregnancies among that bunch? Easy – go a step further and hire only dykes – that should do it!

Infidel on April 24, 2012 at 4:10 pm

Didn’t Qadaffi have chick bodyguards? Butchy dykes with flat top haircuts? maybe.

#1 Vato on April 24, 2012 at 4:16 pm

“Didn’t Qadaffi have chick bodyguards?”

Yes #1 Vato you are absolutely correct sir or maam, the late Mommar Ghaddafi did had female bodyguards protecting him.

Now the topic, if women want to become “Secret Servicemen” then they have to be “qualified” for the job and also in good to great health physically. What the hell does Ms. Maloney (she’s a anti-2nd Amendment gun-grabbing fascist skank) want, women who are out of shape to take the job as SS or women who’s unable to do the job to become SS agents? To me this social-engineering at it’s best, only hire people due to either their skin color, ethnicity, religion, etc. Hire people if there “QUALIFIED” for the job, simple as that!

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

Sean R. on April 24, 2012 at 4:31 pm

Why are feminists outraged? According to them, women should get to behave like sluts. And if men take them at their word, why are they punished for it?

And there is the hypocrisy about asking them to resign for what they did on their own personal time. What happened to the liberal motto sex is a private matter and its no one else’s business?

I’m not defending prostitution. What I’m saying is that with men in Secret Service the demand for ethical standard is more equal for them than for the gals.

This is really a complete non-issue or it should be.

NormanF on April 24, 2012 at 4:39 pm

The Secret Service is meant to protect high officials from death threats and the like.

What the demand for affirmative action in hiring more women really amounts to is another milestone on the road to America become a matriarchy.

Think our enemies hire women to protect them? The joke’s really on us. What our government is really saying is not that the Secret Service has a lack of enough women.

Its that men need not apply to serve and defend this country – whether in the Secret Service or anywhere else they are needed for this critical role.

NormanF on April 24, 2012 at 4:46 pm

Agree that Secret Service agents should have professional standards, but after Bill Clinton? And if they fire the Secret Service staff, shouldn’t they fire these GSA clowns?

Little Al on April 24, 2012 at 4:48 pm

No, the GSA a-holes should be criminally charged with theft of government funds, and being stupid out of season.

WilliamMunny on April 25, 2012 at 9:17 am

Read “In the President’s Secret Service” by Ron Kessler. Not a great book, but he talks about how affirmative action has lowered the standards of the Secret Service.

Besides, who do want protecting you, a big powerful guy who can run fast and shoot straight, or a dainty little flower who does not have the strength to subdue a potential assassin?

Notice, however, that our leaders never rely upon affirmative action when it comes to their safety.

Of course, race has no bearing on the latest scandal, but lowered standards do. And how many people in the Secret Service got there through the telephone call of a friendly congressman or senator? In Washington, DC, it is not what you know, but who you know, or who you are related to.

Jonathan E. Grant on April 24, 2012 at 5:17 pm

Everyone is forgetting that the Secret Service is also responsible for tracking down counterfeiters of our currency.

For years, Iran has been printing counterfeit US money, which is an act of war, and not a single President has spoken out against Iran doing this, nor have they even thought of destroying these presses.

In the US, counterfeiting continues relatively unabated..wait, maybe the Secret Service paid their hookers in counterfeit currency??? Those that paid, at least.

JEG: Actually, the Secret Service and the U.S. Customs Service lost jurisdiction over counterfeiting cases if they involve terrorism, thanks to President Bush, who created the Department of Homeland Security and took any terrorism-related money and counterfeiting cases away from them, giving it to the FBI, which does nothing on it. Bush destroyed Operation Greenquest, the successful joint operation of the Secret Service and U.S. Customs investigating that stuff. That’s a Bush thing, NOT Obama. DS

Jonathan E. Grant on April 24, 2012 at 5:40 pm

    Deb,

Homeland Security was also a Bush thing. Bush was just another liberal dressed up as a Republican. I always said that creating Homeland Security was just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, but it has become much more sinister, at least to our freedoms (They spend as much time investing Tea Party members and white males, and opponents of the Obama administration as they do Muslim terrorists).

Jonathan E. Grant on April 24, 2012 at 7:58 pm

Several thoughts on this topic:

This is a systemic problem in our country concerning the lowering of standards to suit the views and goals of misguided individuals.

Ths scary part of this is that the agents placed themselves in compromising positions which could have led to potential blackmail attempts by enemies of this country in order to harm our leadership. The agents know the President’s intinerary and could be coerced through an act of blackmail into revealing it to a potential threat.
Like some government organizations, they are relying on past images and reputation instead of maintaining the standards that allowed their organization to be effective in their mission.

Peter on April 24, 2012 at 6:13 pm

Yes, the dumbing down of America is a big part of this problem and many others, as well. But at bottom, the injection of “feminist politics” into this Secret Service story is a red herring or a diversion from the real issues.

In addition to this story being another example of the dumbing down principle, it also demonstrates the time-honored principle of “tone at the top.” What is this?

Tone at the top refers to how an organization’s leadership creates the tone at the top of that organization – an ethical (or unethical) atmosphere in the workplace. Management’s tone has a trickle-down effect on employees. If top managers uphold ethics and integrity, so will employees. But if upper management appears unconcerned with ethics and focuses solely on the bottom line, employees will be more prone to violate protocols, break rules and regulations, commit fraud, etc. and feel that ethical conduct isn’t a priority. In short, employees will follow the examples of their bosses.

For an amusing illustration of the tone at the top principle–other than this Secret Service story–see the book or the movie “Casino,” written/scripted by Nicholas Pileggi. The Mafia bosses learn that some employees in the sacred cash room of one of the casino’s that they control (this was back in the 1970s) are skimming (pocketing) money during their cash counts. The bosses complain to one of their top lieutenants that the stealing has got to stop. The lietenant reminds the bosses that they themselves are skimming cash from the casino every week, and that the bosses have got to expect some “leakage.”

“Leakage, my balls,” one of the bosses responds to that insight.

Next to Obama-Putin, the biggest fraud in 2012 is the false (bowel) movement known as “Feminism”.

Feminism cannibalized itself decades ago. If it existed it would be busy trying to help Mooooooslim women.

Behind every Paul Bernardo is a skank sociopath like Karla Homolka (who is a female serial raper/killer and had raped her sister and helped her hubby kill her, free as a bird, I may add).

Behind every Bashir al-Assad is an Asma Assad.

Feminism is fake and dead and lives on like a mental illness epidemic.

Now they are celebrating “Feminist Porn” but that is just a nice way of saying porn staring ugly, disgusting perverts normal peeps wouldn’t even wanna eat lunch with let alone see screw other ugly, disgusting perverts.

We need to open state hospitals again and throw all mental cases who call themselves “feminists” in there for the rest of their lives…with the other mental-cased Liberals!

DS knows the problem with The Secret Service(d). Just like everything else in this once great country.

Debbie you are a very cute person, and I too would like to date you. I haven’t ever paid for sex, but I would certainly provide you with free wi-fi, Kosher snacks and unsolicited blogging pointers if we were to hook up. As for the Secret Service, I just think its funny that some idiot agent got into a public argument with a Colombian whore over money. That’s a clear violation of the 10 commandments for dudes.

But anyway, Debbie missed one thing that caught my attention. Carolyn Maloney also said that the Secret Service needs to be “diverrrrrse” and hire more women and minorities.

So this progressive psychonut jumped the shark in her argument and exposed her flaw, because there ARE minorities in the secret service!! And didn’t those “minorities” also get involved in the scandal too?? This is dumbass psychonut liberalism at it’s finest.

If you work for the Feds, you know how difficult, if not impossible it is to terminate a GS employee. Funny thing is that the Democrat administration is terminating with extreme prejudice these SS agents for embarrassing the POTUS. Are not the democrats the defenders of the little guy, the American worker, the union man? Bush tried to get collective bargaining removed from the new DHS contacts, and he os considered an evil Mofo for trying to screw the federal worker?
Now Obama is sh!t-canning GS-13 level field agents like they were the help at a wedding party, and nobody is taking notice!

Maloney is not just an idiot, she is a PRACTICING idiot. She is a poster child example of how our government is now run by people who couldn’t get a job running an elevator – after the lunch break, they’d have to be retrained. Collins is obviously a Martian. She and the other lady from Maine are two of the strangest people on the planet. Sure, let’s chickify the Secret Service. Quotas are called for. 50% female. Now, we have to further break dow that 50% to have “Diversity.” “X” percent by skin color, X percent lesbian, transgender, tall, short, thin, fat, etc. Then, further broken doen by national heritage, religion, etc. Gets very involved. Better create an Agency for Chickification of the Secret Service. The CSS. This agency will be on Cabinet level. The perfect first director for this agency would be the unwashed one – Debbie (I failed by Wasserman Test) Schultz.

Herbster on April 25, 2012 at 5:55 am

When the wall “fell,” where did all the Communists go?
Naval Aviation was “taken down” with “Tailhook.”
BATF “went rogue” with “Ruby Ridge” and “Waco.”
DEA given “awesome” accomodations at Camp Upshur.
INS (ICE) neutered in early 2000′s.
USMC began in early ’90′s with studies of “allowing” women to only “hump” 40% of a man’s load-out…now bringing women (girls) to infantry companies/platoons; not to mention their “green movement.”
USN now has females in the “Silent Service,” and has had an immensely difficult time with unwed pregnancies by DEPLOYED Sailors.
National Guard now showing their “pride” with commercials uulating their “satisfaction” in “rescuing families” during disasters; similar to the Coast Guard.
GSA “gatekeepers” envoking Constitutional “priviledges”??
…and now the US Secret Service AND members of certain special operations communities within advance party protective details/detachments…in Cartegena…the Narco Riviera…a glorified Tijuana El Toro lounge anyone??
Most, if not all, items cited were at one time or another, the BENCHMARK for professionalism, honor, and Esprit de Corps. Personally, I think it was a set-up down south; using the weakest link (one with the greatest sexual weakness) to leveredge sexual promises against rational thought. The Narcs are definitely in-bed (no pun) with Russia, Iran, Syria et al etc…something just doesn’t square in this one….and ZERO, Zip, NADA involvement within/from White House staffers? chuh riiight.

Sick_Boy on April 25, 2012 at 8:15 am

Why blame the agents for their behavior? They were only doing to the hookers what their boss Obama was doing to the country.

Jerry on April 25, 2012 at 9:58 am

This is just another episode in the feminization of the federal government by our brain dead politicians. Both dimlib Carolyn(phoney baloney)Maloney and RINO Susan Collins are retarded hacks from both sides of the isle. They would love nothing more than the Secret Service to be run by a bunch of sniveling ,leg crossing girly men in the mold of a Matt Lauer or Jay Carney. Could you imagine those two dipwads with pistols and earpieces. You’re right Debbie about Sarah Palin saying that Odumbo should be concerned about whose is looking out for his family. Sadly he aint got a clue. As for the SS agents checking out the First Mare. Yeah they were just checking out where to put the feed bag so she could eat. You gotta love our esteemed president scoping out vacation spots for the missus. I’ve always said that virulent politically correct liberalism will do this country in alot quicker than the scumbag muslim fanatics ever will.

Ken b on April 25, 2012 at 10:38 am

Thanks for you article. You are right on.

Back in the 1980s while you Debbie were in school I was working in the USG in a high security position. The best parties were the CIA and NSA parties. I will not go into details. I can remember a prostitution ring operating unfettered, in the mechanical penthouse of the HHS building on Independence Avenue. It was kind of common knowledge back then. Hell, it may still be there!

Getting more women in organizations like the SS, CIA NSA as agents to prevent wild sex parties and prostituting is a PC suggestion to promote a personal or political agenda.

Also, when it comes to top secret stuff released to the press, in the USG it never is what it appears to be. So something else is up concerning the prostitution SS scandal. Maybe an inside purge of the SS.

Panhandle on April 25, 2012 at 12:34 pm

So, to keep skirt-chasing male Secret Service agents from chasing skirts is to add more skirts that work with them day in and day out. Yeah, that’s the ticket! So, instead of prostitution scandals, we’ll have sexual harassment, adultery and all the other wonderful scandals that we know will occur. This thinking is similar to those who believe that if those Catholic priests had just been allowed to marry, they wouldn’t have been touching those kids, who were mostly boys over the age of 11. Yes, unmarried men are just driven to touch boys and young girls.

Concerned Citizen on April 25, 2012 at 12:41 pm

@Concerned Citizen: “if those Catholic priests had just been allowed to marry, they wouldn’t have been touching those kids, who were mostly boys over the age of 11.”

Do you really think that the priests who molest boys would be interested in marrying a woman?

The entire scandal involving Catholic priests and molestation is a problem of homosexual men infiltrating positions of trust, *not* a priest or Catholic problem.

DS_ROCKS! on April 25, 2012 at 2:27 pm

Dave on April 25, 2012 at 9:26 pm

This is more an example of the politicians being opportunistsby trying to force a political agenda onto a government agency. Yeah like one writer up above mentioned, more women in the Secret Service would probably increase more sexual harrassment claims and gender bias as to why there are no women on the top positions, etc.

I must admit that my notions of the Secret Service are all based on movies like the one Clint Eastwood starred many years ago with Rene Russo called In The Line Of Fire. I think a person like Frank Horrigan (Eastwood’s character)would be considered too old fashion and not up with the times.

Mario on April 25, 2012 at 10:44 pm

He’ing and she’ing have been going on since Adam and Eve and that is never going to change. This entire “sex scandal” was created by the Obama Administration to detract from the REAL scandals and core culture of waste, fraud and mismanagement in the entire federal bureaucracy. The main stream media determines the news, they don’t report it. If anyone thinks these agents acted any differently than the ones that were working along side me in 1976, they are mistaken. In fact, more of this went on back in the day than does now. Choir boys don’t get hired by law enforcement agencies.

Jonathan E Grant writes, “For years, Iran has been printing counterfeit US money, which is an act of war, and not a single President has spoken out against Iran doing this, nor have they even thought of destroying these presses.”

And Iran is printing that money using presses they were allowed to buy when the Shah was still running the show. According to Bergman’s “The Secret War With Iran”, they got two presses. One of them appears to have been “lent” to North Korea, which also actively counterfeits US currency. Some of the money Hizbullah was handing out in Lebanon in the aftermath of the 2006 war was reportedly counterfeit – provided courtesy of Iran.

As to WilliamMunney’s suggestion that “the GSA a-holes should be criminally charged with theft of government funds, and being stupid out of season”, I’ve pointed out elsewhere that the infamous Vegas conference cost roughly what Obama’s “night out” in 2009 to see a Broadway show with his wife cost.
