OUTRAGE: Obama Seeks to Bring 30,000 Syrian Muslim “Refugees” to US, Waive Counterterrorism Laws

By Debbie Schlussel

Remember when Barack Obama told a French TV Channel that the U.S. is a “Muslim nation”? Well, he’s working hard to improve the demography to make it so. The Obama Administration is seeking to bring 30,000 “vulnerable” Syrian refugees to the United States by the end of 2014 and will waive counterterrorism laws and allow those Syrians who aided and abetted Islamic terrorists, including Al-Qaeda, into the country. And these “vulnerable” Hezbollah- and Al-Qaeda-supporting Syrians will be permanently resettled here, as in green card, citizenship, billions in entitlements, and the whole tisa [Arabic for "nine"] yards.

The New “Americans” . . . Courtesy of President Obama

This is a punch in the gut to America, especially to the families of the victims of the 9/11 Al-Qaeda Islamic terrorist attacks and our soldiers who were maimed or murdered in Iraq and Afghanistan. Just sickening! And they have the NERVE to call these Syrians “vulnerable”? HUH? Um, aren’t we Americans the vulnerable ones, since we will have to deal with these intolerant savages imposing themselves and their ways on us and our country? Just askin’.

A U.S. official stated publicly for the first time this week that some of the 30,000 especially vulnerable Syrians the United Nations hopes to resettle by the end of 2014 will be referred to the U.S. for resettlement. . . .

About 20 countries, mostly in Europe, have agreed to take 18,000 Syrians, according to United Nations High Commission for Refugees, or UNHCR, the agency charged with referrals.

So, let me get this straight: TWENTY countries in Eurabia are taking in 18,000 of these savages, and the U.S. must take in THIRTY-FRICKING-THOUSAND???!!! And while this story claims U.S. officials are agreeing to take in “some” of the 30,000, the stories I’ve heard from immigration people in the federal government is that we are taking in at least 30,000.

The U.S. has not set a specific target for how many refugees it will resettle. But at a Senate hearing Tuesday, State Department Assistant Secretary Anne Richard said, “We expect to accept referrals for several thousand Syrian refugees in 2014.”

Um, there is a reason this idiotette Richard isn’t saying how many and just gives the nebulous “several thousand” number. In fact, it’s tens of thousands.

Post-9/11 immigration laws designed to keep out terrorists have had the unintended consequence of ensnaring some innocent people. For example, some of the provisions treat providing food or services to rebels—even those supported by the U.S.—as “material support” to terrorism.

Sen. Dick Durbin (D., Ill.), a key proponent of refugee resettlement, said the “overly broad” provisions would prevent a Syrian who gave a cigarette or a sandwich to a Free Syrian Army soldier from coming to the U.S. as a refugee.

Molly Groom, acting deputy secretary for the Office of Immigration and Border Security at the Department of Homeland Security, acknowledged that “broad definitions” of terrorist activity under U.S. law were “often a hurdle to resettling otherwise eligible refugees who pose no security threat.” She said agencies were consulting to develop exemptions for the Syrians.

In recent years, DHS and the State and Justice Departments have exercised their authority to offer exemptions to some applicants

WTF?! If you give food and services to Islamic terrorists you are indeed providing material support to terrorists. To waive these laws is absurd. But we don’t keep records of or know who gave a cigarette or sandwich to Al-Qaeda. These waivers will go to those who did far more. Why don’t we just open the gates and say, “Hey, Al-Qaeda, come on in!” If you provided wires and explosives, “Welcome to America, Habibi!”

They will sponsor and bring their relatives and friends here and on and on and on. It’s a total disaster with never-ending ripples. And, by the way, this is IN ADDITION to the thousands of Syrian Muslims here on student visas to whom Obama already gave Protected Status, including the ability to stay here indefinitely (basically for life) and to work.

Say good-bye, America. This isn’t the great country we used to know. And it never will be again. And with moves like these and massive amnesty, it will change drastically for the worse.

The end of America is coming sooner than you think.

***

BTW, I would be remiss if I didn’t note that President Bush and his administration were just as guilty of this crap. He claimed the war in Iraq was victorious and successful, and, yet, he brought more than 100,000 Iraqi refugees–most of them Muslim, some of them terrorists, honor killers, and child molesters–to America. Under Bush and Obama, Muslim immigration to America doubled in the ten years after 9/11. And that’s why America’s Muslim population and the number of mosques on U.S. soil doubled.

What a great strategy: blow 3,000 Americans up, and you are rewarded with non-stop golden tickets to invade the place irreparably.

And don’t hold your breath for Republicans to do anything to stem the tide. They haven’t. And they won’t.

liberals live in a dream world, where ideology trumps reality.

What could go wrong? Boston come to mind?

Bob Smith on January 14, 2014 at 2:47 pm

BOB SMITH, the problem isn’t “liberals,” which you would know if you actually read this article (and were a follower of this site). The problem includes majorities of the elites of both parties.

skzion on January 14, 2014 at 8:40 pm

Yeah, sorry have to disagree with you here Skzion. The problem is most definitely those with “liberal” pretensions on both sides of the isle.

Frankz on January 15, 2014 at 7:39 pm

        *aisle
I say this because it seems to me to foster a happy bi-partisan delusion that both sides are equally motivated and influential with regard to issues.

Frankz on January 15, 2014 at 7:45 pm

I briefly read the headline and a couple paragraphs in my local paper, that the president was only using the executive order to by pass the normal citizen route for this country because Congress has refused to act. They haven’t done sht. So my question is what is he suppose to do. Congress won’t do a damn thing. Congress needs to get of their sorry asses. I blame Congress for this bullsht

“I briefly read the headline and a couple paragraphs in my local paper . . . Congress . . . haven’t [sic] done sht. So my question is [sic] what is he suppose [sic] to do.[sic] Congress won’t do a damn thing. . . . I blame Congress for this bullsht.”

    -Big Dumb Dinky

Big D, clearly Skunky was right about you all along (note that she has not modified her opinion since she formed it). You acknowledge that you “briefly” eyeballed some dumb local paper that is doing the pro-Barky spin, and you then disgorge here the “Congress is not doing anything” excuse typically used to circumvent law and allow in wave upon wave of illegals. Even worse, you rely on this ridiculous spin in defense of more waves of Moooooslims!

The reason congress will not enact yet another amnesty bill is that numerous congressmen are scared of being booted out of the House. That’s because THEIR CONSTITUENTS DO NOT WANT ANOTHER AMNESTY. This “inaction” is simply a refusal to have another amnesty. If congress refuses to impose a new 20% VAT, does that mean that your president Barky should be imposing it because “congress will not act”?

Now I expect you’re going to come back here and try to pretend that you were just being a troll and trying to piss people off. Don’t try it.

From now on, I won’t even bother reading your garbage. You are hopeless.

skzion on January 14, 2014 at 8:55 pm

That’s exactly why you vote for Osama Obama Big DD.
So he can kick some congress ass get you free stuff.

The United States will very rapidly sink into third world status at this rate.

Look @ the bright side, soon enough the most popular name for baby boys will be…..U guessed it, Muhammed.
Why cry? U elected an Arab & he only brings his family home, under “family unification” law.

Simon on January 14, 2014 at 3:06 pm

Your premise is right but he is not an Arab. There are lots of Muslims who are NOT Arabs and you’d better learn that or be fooled. Jihad and the bringing of the Caliphate isn’t about “Arabs,” nationality doesn’t exist in Islam. It is about being Muslim, regardless of country of origin. It’s a GLOBAL movement. One World, One Caliphate.

Mike on January 17, 2014 at 7:53 pm

Good article worth learning and worth reasoning with Debbie. DS and others, yesterday I was listening to Michael Savage’s talk show, his show yesterday was dedicated to “Family Values”, the reason is because there was a story over the weekend called, “No Pants Ride Day”, MS touched on it and Savage mentioned that there was a muslim girl in one of the photos of that story, in her hijab, holding up a bumper-sticker sign in French, Savage took her side and sang her praises, etc., he said something to this nature: “I believe that the muslims here in America are a salvation to the Family”!

Uh-huh, really Dr. Savage, are you implying what Obama is doing by sending in more Syrian-Muslim refugees into this country, who might, godforbid commit terrorist-plots, and all sorts of frauds and scams, etc., and they’re the salvation for so-called “Family Values”? I don’t think that I can take anymore of right wing talk radio, I’ll presumably STOP listening to these shows and get my sources and information from the internet from now on!

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

Sean R. on January 14, 2014 at 4:01 pm

I cannot stand Savage….he is a NEW YORK JERK!

It is just ME AGAIN on January 14, 2014 at 6:16 pm

Hey watch it!!! All New Yorkers are NOT jerks! And he may have a point , We need to restore the family. And have BABIES!! See my earlier post. /comment.

Mike on January 17, 2014 at 8:08 pm

Yes, that has always been one of Savage’s weaknesses. It reminds me of those people who speak of Farrakhan’s ‘good points’ because he, too, emphasizes family responsibility. And the Panthers had their Breakfast for Children program, so even though they were killing police officers, we needed to see their good side.

And of course, as Michael Medved said, Hamas won because of their concern for community action and meeting the needs of the Palestinian economy.

Little Al on January 14, 2014 at 9:58 pm

For five long years under Obama it’s been one assault after another on our national security. To have to passively contemplate the lethal pit he and his despicable cast of un-American fiends are digging us into has me staggering around in a virtual state of shell-shock.

Unbelievable. Literally beyond belief Barack Hussein Obama could have been elected–twice!–to be president of the U.S.

lee of the lower case "l" on January 14, 2014 at 4:47 pm

What an idiot. You really have to wonder who is pulling the strings here. Everyone and their brother-in-law knows that this is a dangerous thing to do, so why bring these people here. Send them to another muslim country since they seem to care so much about their suffering Syrian brothers and sisters (which is just bullshit. They hate each other as much as they hate us).

The U.S. must do what is in it’s best interest. More violent, muslim immigrants is not in anyone’s best interest.

I firmly believe that should this Syrian “refugee” plan be put into effect, Congress would have a basis for preparing an article of impeachment against the president. The issue is whether there is anyone in either party willing to take this step. So far I see no evidence of such opposition.

Seek on January 14, 2014 at 7:08 pm

Debbie is clearly off-base and over-the-top here, as Al Jazeera has clearly explained that these poor Syrian refugees have received “deplorable treatment” and have been forced to live in “truly squalid conditions with insufficient food, water or medical care.” Furthermore, Al Jazeera has even shown pictures of Syrian refugee children stairing down at the ground dejectedly with trash on the ground to prove this point. (Although these could be stock photos designed to elicit sympathy, I refuse to believe that an organization with as much integrity as Al Jazeera would ever employ such manipulative or propagandistic devices, at least not without good purpose.)

The US Government should be providing 100% of their food, medical care, free public housing, and other amenities, as this will clearly demonstrate how good America and Americans are, and the refugees will only love us back for it. History has proven this.

Moreover, because President Obama relies almost exclusively on the viewpoints and information provided by Al Jazeera for his Middle East policy, that automatically means that his decision was a sound and thoroughly reasoned one.

Yes, I will concede that this policy of bringing in such Syrian “refugees” will likely mean that many of the 30,000 will also be terrorists who will also likely become part of terrorist cells in the US. Perhaps even thousands of them will. But merely because some or even many American will be harmed or killed as result of this policy, this does not mean that the program should be shut down. We must weigh those insignificant costs against the greater good of promoting the interests of the Syrian refeugees.

Besides, I am certain that Chris Christie approves of Obama’s policy, and that should be good enough for all us.

Ralph Adamo on January 14, 2014 at 7:11 pm

Yes, Ralph, the Administration should feel full-force our solemn obligation to keep up appearances in the world; not to mention it’s the right thing to do. Our country’s honor and image hangs in the balance. But such a weight our president has on his shoulders with so much pressing business on his plate. It will be a challenge, but necessity demands he find a way to juggle all you’ve stated while at the same time continue moving forward with his not explicitly stated but nonetheless plain enough to discern Affordable Nuke Act for Iran.

lee of the lower case "l" on January 14, 2014 at 8:03 pm

What do you suggest be done?

grog on January 14, 2014 at 7:35 pm

Didn’t Washington say something about getting involved in other countries’ problems when he was president?

Every day with Obama it’s a new outrage. He is just such a f’ng loser, as are the people who voted for him.

Matt on January 14, 2014 at 8:13 pm

One of these days we’ll have the same policies towards islam as Saudi Arabia has towards non muslims. It won’t be because we want to, necessarily; it’ll be because we have to.

Ruckus_Tom on January 14, 2014 at 8:37 pm

I guess Sudan will be next.

Little Al on January 14, 2014 at 9:42 pm

Debbie,
Refugees have been pouring into this country for years, and, as you said Bush was also complicit in abetting this too. 30,000 total is probably a drop in the bucket. Suddenly, everybody anywhere remotely near Syria will abruptly become “Syrian”. Refugees are the cause du jour. I’d personally like to know how many “Somalis” are dropped at our doorstep by smuggling organizations each week. I’d also be interested in the number of refugees that show up here because of the half-@55ed War on Drugs in mexico; I heard two thirds of the mexican state of Michoacan lives here now.
As far as the “Chaldeans” Bush let in, it amazes me that around here they wear clothes which cover their heads and seem to attend mosque. I guess there was no fraud committed there. The ex-mayor of El Cajon can thank Bush for inflicting this situation on the citizens of El Cajon. The ex-mayor got canned because he didn’t bow down to the PC Crowd and pointed out that these “Chaldeans” have a propensity to commit welfare fraud, etc., etc. You think that Detroit has problems, Debbie? I feel sorry for whichever community has to house these new “Syrian” Refugees, and angry that laws are only for us fools who cling to them.

nadie on January 14, 2014 at 9:46 pm

Cromwell on January 15, 2014 at 1:14 am

If we got the Syrian Christians that would be one thing. The Christians there are being wiped out one by one. What we will get is most likely a pack of Muslims who are fortune seekers and who want to spread Islam here. The US should really stop secretly backing the rebels, then the Syrians could stay where they are.

I think the war on terror is double speak for a war to spread terror. I think it is a war to create the chaos needed for radical Islam to flourish. Then the contractors can move in and make a pile of money off the remains of once prospering societies.

There is no national interest to these wars but a great private corporative interest. Halliburton, Blackwater, oil companies and others swoop right in. American soldiers are forced to reenlist tour after tour. They will probably be sent back until they are dead or maimed beyond hope.

With the strong of our country destroyed, it is easier for the terrorists to come in and wreak their havoc. If they plan on importing the rebel fighters here, it will be like trying to bring that war to America.

bb on January 15, 2014 at 1:54 am

“The end of America is coming sooner than you think.”

I disagree. It already has arrived, the body just doesn’t realize it yet. The realization part will be long, painful and probably bloody.

RA2216 on January 15, 2014 at 5:05 am

Now we know how the Native Americans felt, but don’t worry maybe this time around some states will be able to successfully secede from the Union. Question is “what side you gonna be on?”

Joe Momma on January 22, 2014 at 1:01 pm

The peculiar thing about this is that the million of Syrian refugees who have fled a war that is hideous even by Muslim standards showed no sign of wanting to leave altogether. We in Europe had been dreading a wave of Syrian refugees, but as a matter of fact it has proved to be less than a trickle. The Syrians have gone to Lebanon and Jordan, neighbouring countries very much like their own, to wait out the horror and go back (if they can) when it’s over.

So who are these 30,000 “vulnerable” persons who are so eager to enter the United States? A hint: long term, and in spite of the billions of Qatari and Saudi petro-dollars, the jihadis are losing the war. The outsiders who came in at the call of Al Qaeda have gutted the purely Syrian rebel groups, to the point where rebel leaders were heard talking about joining forces with Assad to fight the jihadi barbarians. So if and when they lose the war, well, certainly these thousands of “rebels” and foreign (non-Syrian) jihadis will be really quite vulnerable. After all, they have only been guilty of massacre, mass rape, occasional cannibalism, violation of every law of war, terrorism, vandalism, and theft. No reason why they should worry about what Syrians of all sides would want to do to them, hey?

Laura Latini on January 15, 2014 at 7:50 am

The liberals (progressives, socialists, communists) have now morphed with the CAIR and jihadist groups. Yes, “W” began the
surrender when he lied and claimed islam means “peace,” and his no-win war against islamic terror showed he respected the primacy of islam. Mullah Barry Sotero takes giant steps forward and is allying and arming the terrorists, Khalifa Barry accepts the SUPREMACY of islam.

And McLiar, Goober, Corker, Murkowski, Kirk, McConnell and that sniveling collaborator Wimp Boehner will not lift a finger to OPPPOSE their islamo-red masters! Congress has surrendered to the WH — the small handful of opposition will not be sufficient to save the Constitution and the nation.

Hans Schaden on January 15, 2014 at 9:14 am

Hey skzion, there are idiot elitists in both parties, but the libs are far worse for the good of this country. Especially when one of their worst is our prez.

FIRECAPT on January 15, 2014 at 9:14 am

No, skzion is absolutely correct. What is different between the two major parties is that the Republicans at times have better rhetoric. But, to use the cliche, actions speak louder than words.

Where is the Republican criticism of the Peace Process (sic!!!)?

Where is clear criticism of the Muslim Brotherhood, labeling it for what it is, an anti-semitic terrorist group with roots in Naziism? Where is the Republicans’ call for Turkey to be kicked out of NATO? Where are their sustained calls to stop giving money to terrorists, and, even today, not to admit all these Syrians to the United States?

Little Al on January 15, 2014 at 9:21 am

Interesting because rhetoric is what this is all about.
The Republicans unfortunately have to worry what the Democrat’s media machine will make people think if they dissent too strongly.

So while it suits an unfortunate number of Republicans to accommodate organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood they are generally not ideologically driven to do so.

To overlook this is not wise in my opinion.

Frankz on January 15, 2014 at 7:33 pm

Frankz, those same Republicans seem most unfazed by the leftist media when they oppose abortion or champion the second amendment.

Anyway, being bought by Mooooslim petrodollars does not require any particular ideological affiliation; it does require a lack of integrity though.

skzion on January 17, 2014 at 11:29 am

I’d like to know just how the State Dept came to the conclusion as too, who are the vulnerable Syrians and who are not. Is this being done on the honour system ? Recently, John Kerry convinced Israel,to release 26 Terrorists who returned back to Palestinian and this includes one terrorist who was convicted of the murders of 16 Israelis.Releasing terrorists is the mindset Washington has, they believe this will bring peace & love back into the Middle East. With these kind of policies, we already are sinking and sinking fast.Next Washington will be wanting bring over vulnerable terrorists from Palestinian who get killed by attacking Israel.Dark day in America.

That is true of all organized religion as they don’t respect anything sad to say and that people and men have different backgrounds. All religions engage in claiming someone is their own based on dogma and not with any respect to parents and certainly not to fathers.

That is true of Rabbinic Judaism very much. They believe the male Rabbi is more important then the child’s father and if a child can’t inherit land in Israel because his father isn’t Jewish and therefore isn’t from any of the 12 tribes it doesn’t matter. They think they can tell a foreign man what to do if a Jewish woman decides to marry them.

They are very much against science as well as DNA evidence only back 400 years shows that some women’s DNA traces more to Europe then the Middle East and that is likely because some men who located somewhere for work related reasons and had no Jews to marry and maybe even their boss had a daughter who knows but they ended up marrying a local woman and raising the kid Jewish. If Jews truly believe only the mother matters Jews should take the mothers not the fathers name and stop confusing everyone.

Some even support this with Jews but not with other cultures which just show they themselves only I think use Jews for their war against Islam and care more about Christianity then Judaism simply because there are many more CHirstains. I don’t think that is a Godly thing to do and it is just playing politics.

I AGREE WITH THE KARAITES IN THAT POSITION and men can punish other men who marry someone who is not appropriate. You can’t do anything to a woman who marrys an inappropriate person because you don’t have the rights to this foregin man she married.

Cathlics also didn’t become 1 billion people either through respecting cultures. I had to deal with a very bigoted woman at Dunkin Donuts who didn’t even know I was Jewish who was defending her male religious leaders and speaking very badly of Jewish male religious leaders although all of them get special rights in our increasingly socialist country that many of the tax and affirmative action laws that apply to everyone else don’t apply to them which in the past with less socialism religious leaders had less special priledges.

That is all I have to say. Israel doesn’t exist because of organized religion and the Jewish version of this of Rabbis. Not at all!!!

Just one question, how’s that “Hope & Change” working out for everyone? The complete destruction of America is well underway thanks to the most corrupt, incompetent criminal president in our history. And if you had half a brain and tooki the responsibility of voting seriously you’d have NEVER wanted to see Obamanation become the doorman at The White House let alone its resident. I’ll give you two examples of why he should have been completely dismissed offhand BEFORE he was elected. In the 143 days that he was senator before deciding to run for the presidency he voted PRESENT 119 times on proposed legislation. Are you kidding me? The guy who couldn’t decide whether to increase the speed limit in Montana should be the one to make decisions that affect 330 million Americans directly and the world at large? Really? And in the TWENTY YEARS that he was a parishioner in Rev. Wright’s church he claims he never ONCE heard him preach his anti-American and anti-Semitic rants? Exactly how naive do you have to be to buy that BS? We are so screwed it’s not even funny.

Congress should pass legislation that effectively bans refugees from ANY country. The U.S is a CHRISTIAN land and dirty muslims are NOT welcome here, SO STAY THE FUCK OUT!
