Michael Reagan Show and longtime Rush Limbaugh fans know the name Brett Winterble. Brett produced Rush's show for years and now produces Michael's show.
And he's the very talented and brilliant host of the "Covert Radio Show," which posts podcasts virtually daily and will be on terrestrial radio next year. Covert Radio covers the important terrorism, defense, and national security topics in which you and I have a keen interest.

Me on Al-Jazeera
I am scheduled to be on Al-Jazeera English, the international English language version of Al-Jazeera (viewed in 120 million homes), live on Saturday Night at 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
I will be on the channel's global news program, and ironically, I won't be discussing Middle Eastern issues.
I'll be on with Susan Burgess, a Democratic party activist and superdelegate, who believes that "sexism" is prevalent in American politics, based on Hillary Clinton's failure to clich the Democratic nomination. Of course, I disagree. If anything, we've bent over backward for women--and Hillary is a case of that.
At last check, Al-Jazeera English wasn't on most cable systems in America, so you'll have to check. But to all of my extremist enemies throughout the Islamic world and the ten moderates living in hiding and utter fear, you'll be able to see me.
As readers know, I'm no fan of Al-Jazeera--its Arabic original or its English incarnation or its American boob personalities--which I believe are far-left and Islamofascist. But, as in the past, I do not turn down opportunities to appear on those networks (I've appeared on the Arabic Al-Jazeera), as I believe our side needs to get out there, especially on these channels.

As If: Toronto Star Columnist Calls Schlussel "Sexist," "Threatened" By "Sex & the City" Hags, Compares Them to James Bond (?!)
Methinks Toronto Star columnist Peter Howell surrendered his man card.
In a column decrying the film critics--including myself and Roger Ebert--who didn't like "Sex and the City," he calls us "sexist" and claims that we are "threatened" by the success of these four non-existent, fictional sailor-esque man-chicks:
A lot of people who should know better are stunned and appalled that Sex and the City made the Earth move with its $57 million opening weekend, the most ever for an R-rated comedy. [DS: I wasn't shocked. I predicted it. Most American women are incurable sheep-ettes.]Could it be these people feel a little threatened, too? . . .
Even female scribes have been hexed by Sex. Film blogger Debbie Schlussel socked it to the sisters with a screed titled "Hags and the City," in which she declared the release of SATC to be "a national IQ test for women" that many failed when they bought a ticket."Unfortunately, (the SATC foursome) are Delphic oracles to far too many American women, if the long lines of drooling women who packed four large theatres at a promotional screening I attended were any indication," Schlussel wrote.
Why do so many critics and commentators have Sex on the brain? Are they unable to accept a movie about four successful women?
Um, you mean the movie about four successful men. They wear skirts and make-up, but they behave like the aging frat boys in "Old School." They don't act like women. And they sure don't act like ladies.
And, FYI, they're NOT successful, with the exception of the sluttiest--and most masculine among them--Samantha, the sex addict. Miranda, the lesbian-looking, emasculating red-head lawyer whose bartender hubby is the shrewed up chick in the relationship, isn't doing so well. Another, Charlotte, doesn't work and marries rich men. Gold-digging is not a profession. Or maybe it is. The starring role, Carrie, is a loser who lost her column, whose books aren't that big, and who needs to marry a man to get her gold, as well.
And you never see these women work. They just gab, lunch, shop, swear, and have sex in various positions. Their success is a figment of Hollywood.
But here's my fave part of Peter Howell's column:
I can actually think of a rough male equivalent for SATC. It's a film franchise about a man with a huge ego and unfettered sense of entitlement, who cavorts with people who have spectacular budgets for clothes, cars and travel. Our hero consumes vast quantities of liquor and caviar and thinks nothing of trashing his high-priced toys.His name is James Bond. His 22nd movie, Quantum of Solace, is currently being filmed. And when it is released this fall, you won't find anybody seriously suggesting that the enjoyment of it is a chance to get men out of the house, a degrading of the national IQ or a recruitment opportunity for the Taliban.
And why is that?
Peter, if you need to ask, that means the castration procedure was a success.
Carrie Bradshaw is the new "James Bond"? Please help me stop laughing.

Village Voice Upset Over Schlussel "Sex & The City" Review
With the tragic success of the "Sex and the City" movie, this weekend, studio execs are, unfortunately, planning a sequel. Who knew my prophecy of "Sex and the Cat Ladies" would actually come to fruition?
Now, The Village Voice--the influence of which now makes it the Village Whisper, er . . . Murmur--is on guard against the great offenses in America, including my review of "Sex and the City," the national IQ test for women that so many of America's fairer sex failed over the weekend. Oh, and the aging hippies at the Whisper claim I sound like a "Women's Studies Prof."
To quote Cher Horowitz, "As if" . . . .
Writers normally devoted to other agenda, . . . put aside their hobbyhorses for a moment to divert readers with the harmless subject.
Well, most of them did. A SATC review featuring a photo of "Cynthia Nixon (right) w/Lesbian Partner" alerted us that we'd stumbled into the land of the rightbloggers, where blockbuster movies are not mere entertainments, but fronts in the culture war.
In her epic "Hags And The City" tirade, TV commentator Debbie Schlussel told readers that the "sleazy and low-class" central characters "look like female impersonators in drag," are "pigs in skirts" and, worst of all, serve as "Delphic oracles to far too many American women."While the Oracle at Delphi spoke for Apollo, apparently Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte speak for "America's feminists and the phony mainstream media" who, Schlussel said, give their message "the kosher seal of approval," thereby covering an extra theological base.
But what is their message? Schlussel didn't focus long enough to inform us, but some clues could be gleaned from her ravings. "Because they dined in glamorous places, wore trapezoid shaped clothes and $1,000 fancy high heels," wrote Schlussel, "this somehow made their low-brow, savage behavior, 'classy.'" So perhaps the message is that the rich can get away with things that the rest of us can't. Schlussel also said that the inclusion of Jennifer Hudson in the film was meant to "answer the complaints over the years by Black America, that there were no Black women in this fashionable pay cable TV gang of hos." Add tokenism to the film's sins. Finally, "If you've ever called men pigs or chauvinists or decried their alleged collective behavior toward women, but yet you like this movie, you're a hypocrite." SATC is an affront to feminism! Schlussel's argument seems based on race, gender, and class issues normally addressed by Women's Studies professors. We hope this doesn't get around or Schlussel may never appear on Fox News again.
Again, As If . . . .
But the photo that bothers them so is emblematic of this movie and what it's really about. And because it bothered the Village Murmur so much, I've posted it again. I mean, should I really pretend this woman is straight like she pretends in this movie? C'mon, let's be intellectually honest.
Hey, at least I didn't do this.

Schlussel in UK's Spectator, Wall Street Journal, Today
Today, I'm quoted by the great Spectator columnist Melanie Phillips in the UK's Spectator:
Americans are aghast at the spectre of Islamist violence in Europe. They had better look to their own. Debbie Schlussel reports that, earlier this week,four to five Muslims viciously attacked Rabbi Uria Ohana in Brooklyn, New York, while shouting, 'Allahu Akbar.' Rabbi Ohana, assistant head rabbi of Chabad-Lubavitch of Massachusetts, was about to get on the F-Train at Fourth Avenue and Ninth Street in Brooklyn. The young Muslim assailants grabbed rabbi Ohana's yarmulke (skullcap), and when he went to them to get it back, they beat him and shouted, 'Allahu Akbar.'
This attack on an orthodox Jew in the US follows the murderous onslaught on the Mercaz Harav yeshiva in Jerusalem.
Thanks, Melanie, for publicizing this important story about Islamofascism's infestation of America. FYI, Melanie Phillips is the coiner of the term "Londonistan," the title of her excellent book about Islam's takeover of Britain.
Then, there's my Letter to the Editor published in today's Wall Street Journal about Hezbollah. It was cut almost in half. Read the full version here (and also background about what I was writing about). Here is what ran in today's Journal:
Suicide Bombers and Revisionist HistoryMr. Kendall claims that Hezbollah got its "start struggling for justice for the Palestinians." He could not be more wrong. Hezbollah, originally known as "The Organization for the Oppressed of the Earth," was founded in response to Palestinian occupation of Lebanon. At that time -- from the mid-1970s until the early 1980s -- Palestinians captured and destroyed Shiite (and Christian Lebanese) property and killed the sons and raped the daughters of the Shiites of Southern Lebanon who are now the nucleus of Hezbollah in Lebanon. South Lebanon -- today's Hezbollah sub-state of Lebanon -- was then known as Fatah-land, as the PLO dominated it by force -- allied with a brutal leftist Lebanese militia, the Morabeitoun, headed by Ibrahim Kleilat. That is why Hezbollah was founded -- not in support of the Palestinians who oppressed Hezbollah's members. To assert otherwise is to engage in myth and revisionism.

Barry is such a nice guy with a great sense of humor, he makes disagreeing with him very fun. Make no mistake--I don't agree with him on most things. But you have to reach out and convert the non-believers, like his listeners.
There are some liberal shows I turn down. I was asked, this week, for instance to be on a show during Roseanne's week of subbing on Airhead America. But I simply couldn't take it, the first, last, and only time I did her show. I found her and her co-host/boyfriend Johnny to be loathsome, anti-Semitic (yes, I know that Roseanne is a pseudo-Jew) nutjobs. Never again.

Me on Sirius Patriot Channel Today
I will be on the "Mike Church Show" on Sirius Patriot Channel 144, today at 5:30 p.m. Eastern, to discuss the Mark Cuban-produced anti-troops movie I first reported on back in February (and everyone else on the net discovered Sunday--that means you, Drudge).
The movie, "Redacted," by Director Brian DePalma is a fictionalized account of American troops raping an Iraqi girl. DePalma, as I'd written a half-year ago, has a history of making films that defame our troops, including those who served in Vietnam (whom he also depicted as raping a young girl). It's disgusting. Out of many, many stories of American troops doing great things around the world, he picks a few anomalies--a few soldiers in a place where we are at war and where these things rarely happen, but do happen. Don't expect DePalma and Cuban, though, to make a film about how Muslims rape, torture, and kill Christians and Jews, though Cuban has expressed an interest in me pitching him on an idea. And I will. We'll see.

Schlussel Quoted in Today's New York Times
I'm quoted in today's New York Times, regarding the Muslim foot baths being installed at the University of Michigan-Dearbornistan, a story I broke on this site back in May. Here's the NYTimes quote:
On her Web site, Debbie Schlussel, a conservative lawyer and blogger in Southfield, Mich., posted, "Forget about the Constitutionally mandated separation of church and state ... at least when it comes to mosque and state."
Unfortunately, it looks like New York Times "reporter" Tamar Lewin did little reporting, other than getting a couple of quotes pro- and con- the foot baths. She pretty much copied and repeated what was written in the Detroit Newsistan several weeks ago, including using the exact quote from my blog, the exact way the Newsistan identified me, and repeating false "facts" on the foot baths, like how much they really cost. And they claim the New York Times is "the newspaper of record"? More like the lazy, liberal echo chamber.
There's more to this, and I and fellow blogger, Dearborn Underground (who has been doing excellent work on this and many other issues), are writing a follow-up about the lies that U-M Dearbornistan has been telling and what they're really doing behind the scenes, none of which Ms. Lewin bothered to look into. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, if you are a Michigan taxpayer--but especially if you are a tuition-paying University of Michigan-Dearbornistan student--please let me know if you are interested in fighting this in the Courts. E-mail me with your name and phone number and permission to forward it on to a third party.

Recently, Larry and I discussed the double standard of special treatment for Muslim victims of hate crimes versus the FBI's and U.S. Department of Justice's nonchalance, lack of concern, and easy treatment of Muslim hate crime perpetrators against non-Muslims. We also discussed my 2003 New York Post column (an unabridged version of which is here) that elicited Mr. John's death threat against me, the subject of which was a planned FBI award to "former" Islamic terrorist Imad Hamad (which was revoked after my column).
I am very fortunate that I have a voice that is heard and good, patriotic friends like Larry Elder who help amplify it. But there are plenty of other non-Muslims like me, whose cases are treated with indifference and scorn by the FBI and USDOJ and never prosecuted. That is the real tragedy in this, almost 6 years after 9/11.

Yesterday, I wrote about how the 6 Flying Imams and HAMAS-front group CAIR are seeking to sue all passengers who complained about the Flying Imams' suspicious behavior before and during their flight, last year, on US Airways.

Radio Across America: Me on Adam Carolla Show/CBS Radio; More Hannity Clueless Copying
There has been an internet outage with my service provider for almost the last day (and my private e-mail is still not working), thus my absence.
Today at 9:20 a.m. Pacific/12:20 p.m. Eastern, I will be on "The Adam Carolla Show," the morning show broadcast on most FM CBS radio stations on the West Coast. Adam and I will be discussing the domestic Islamic terrorist threat, Imam Husham Al-Husainy, and Sean Hannity Vanity's week-long plagiarism of my work on Al-Husainy. Listen Live.
Also, the mail keeps pouring in--against Vanity and from his conservative base, who've left his audience because they don't buy the act. Here's a sampling:
Debbie,My last straw with Sean Vanity was when he would not denounce Judith Regan [DS: who published Vanity's books, but he "forgot" to mention that conflict of interest} over the O.J. book. Mark Fuhrman was on and asked Sean to denounce Judith, and he would not do it.
And then tonight he stuck up for Alan Colmes calling our Marines "cold blooded murderers" over the Haditha incident. Colmes was called out by one of the fathers of those Marines, so he apologized. Sean came to his recuse by saying "We're on the air 4 hours a day, and we make mistakes." Mistakes, my ass, when you deliberately convict before a trial--like, oh, the Duke lacrosse players.
Keep up the great work and don't hold your breath for Sean Vanity to
acknowledge you or the work he deliberately stole from you. Like I tell people I'm conservative, not a Republican.Sean is phony as a 3 dollar bill.

What Happened to Me on BBC: Hate & Intolerance Tries to Silence the Right of Far Left
**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE ****
Every week, I'm contacted by BBC to be on their radio program, "World Have Your Say." And every week, it's dominated by leftists. Last week was an exception with Richard Perle and Milblogger Bill Roggio on the show.
Usually, I get a sentence or two in, and then it's time for them to get to others. Today, however, I finally got some adequate time to say my piece. The topic was about America's image in the world and whether we should be concerned with the world disliking us. My view is that we should stop trying to appease the world--which generally means kowtow to Muslims who wish us dead.
Instead, we should concentrate on getting those who hate us to also fear and respect us. And you can't do that by being meek, constantly sending delegations over there telling them, "please, please like us; we allow your extremists to have the run of America, so why won't you like us?" You gain respect by being tough, by being ruthless, by showing those who cheered the 19 hijackers a little taste of what they will get if they try it again.
I frankly don't care why they hate us. I care why we don't hate them more, or even enough. I await the day when we will stop acting like the jilted lover who keeps begging to be taken back, despite years of abuse.
But BBC'ers don't like that kind of talk. They like to hate Americans who hate America--which they get plenty of. And me being on, I interrupted their daily fix. It was like being sent to rehab, cold turkey, for them. And they have zero tolerance.
So, while I was on the air, BBC read a host of hate-mailers begging for my microphone to be shut off and that I never be allowed on the BBC airwaves. They were mad that I actually dared disagree with some Brits and Americans who say that the world should hate America more, that we (and Israel--gotta get that anti-Semitic stuff in there) are responsible for all the evil in the world. That we, America, are the evil of all evils. Blah, blah, blah.
They were mad at America for Global Warming. When I asked why they don't hate China and India (who contribute to global warming more) and pointed out that they really don't care about global warming--any excuse to hate America and attack it will do--the lumpen BEEBetariat got even angrier that the Beeb would dare have me on their airwaves.
Joe Noory at No Pasaran! has an excellent description of what happened to me, today, on BBC.
He sums it up by calling the show, "World (Don't) Have Your Say" and saying this:
Euro-peevishness on parade... Useful, truly.
Amen, Joe. Read the comments of the angry Beebetariat directed at me. They hate me. AND I LOVE IT!
Getting on their nerves is a blast.
**** UPDATE: Well, the Beebetariat is even more outraged over me than even I perceived. Here's more from the Beeb's producer who booked me for the show:
I booked our main guest today, Debbie Schlussel. The question was 'Does America's image matter?' - as in do Americans care what the world thinks of them? I knew Debbie would cause some controversy but I wasn't prepared for the angry, angry people down the phone, on the text, emails, comments on the blog. When you're fully interactive it does open multitudinous channels of abuse...I felt a little guilty that Debbie didn't really have an ally and the callers were so vehemently against her (and cross with the BBC for giving her airtime). Occasionally it did feel like a public hanging. However, there was a late show of support from her in email form. I suppose your average right-winger doesn't really listen to the BBC. Also one caller called Des justified it best when he said that, although he completely disagreed with her, America's global image is often that of right-wingers like Debbie so it was relevant and even necessary to have her on.
I did regret that, because of the large response.
I can take it. Too bad they can't take me. They very badly need to take the medicine for their disease. It's even worse than I'd earlier diagnosed.

If I was going to nitpick, there are a couple of things that didn't quite work on day one: . . . . "The Journal Exchange" -- the home of its "Letters to the Editor" -- perhaps deserves more prominent location than the back of the Marketplace section. Debbie Schlussel posits this one on her blog. In fact I'd like to see more reader comment throughout the pages.

Official Saudi Newspaper Cites & Agrees With Schlussel
Something I never thought I'd see: Saudi Arabia's official English language daily, Arab News, cites me with approval, in today's edition. (The paper also says it's "The Middle East's Leading English Daily.")
Arab News Senior Editor and columnist Rasheed Abou-Alsamh actually agrees with my column on the absurdity of Colorado Attorney General John Suthers' recent trip to Saudi Arabia and the egregiousness of Saudi Arabia's continued insistence that convicted slaveholder/rapist (among other things) Homaidan Al-Turki is somehow a "victim" of the American justice system.
His column, "No Tears for Homaidan Al-Turki" is excellent in its own right, but especially when you consider that it's a Saudi state-sanctioned publication that regularly spouts extremism. Here's the quote:
American commentators in newspapers and on blogs were outraged that an American official had to fly to Saudi Arabia to explain why Al-Turki had been found guilty and sentenced to jail time. . . .
"In an utter display of American weakness and shame, Colorado Attorney General John Suthers traveled to Saudi Arabia to apologize. Apologize for the American justice system and virtually everything else that America stands for," fumed conservative blogger Debbie Schlussel."Suthers said that, under Saudi law, four eyewitnesses are needed to prove a rape case. Memo to Suthers: You are the Attorney General of Colorado, not Saudi Arabia. The four witnesses is taken from Islamic law, since Saudi Arabia is a theocracy. We are not. And that should be the end of the story."
I've been a frequent critic of Arab News' extremist positions and "reporting," but Abou-Alsamh's column on this particular issue is a breath of fresh air. Upon doing further research on him, it turns out he is also a reporter for the excellent Washington Times (but he also reports for the extremist Egyptian state-sanctioned Al-Ahram and the hate-America Christian Science Monitor). Abou-Alsamh is a Saudi-American raised in Europe and South America.
Shukran (Thank you), Rasheed. Mabrouk (Congrats) on your brave position on this issue. Moumtez (Excellent). But we must all be careful to note that this is an aberration, not a trend, in the Saudi media.

I'll be debating annoying, liberal (redundant) trial lawyer and author Gerry Spence. We'll be discussing his absurd new book, "Bloodthirsty Bitches and Pious Pimps of Power: The Rise and Risk of the New Conservative Hate Culture," headed for the bargain bins at a bookstore near you.
The thesis of his book is that evil corporations own and run America, and that the little guy is disenfranchised, so he/she buys into the "hate" of Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly, and other conservatives. And, oh yeah, Christians are ruining America, too, according to Spence, who says America is now like the Third Reich.
But none of America's problems have anything to do with America's bloodsucking trial lawyers (like Spence) who leech off of America's corporations and defend the true hate-crime committers of America, criminals and Islamofascists, right?
Also, please tell me how Nancy Grace suddenly got lumped in as one of us. She's no conservative. But don't blame clueless Spence for not knowing otherwise.
Frankly, I think Spence just attacked everyone who is now getting the cable network news airtime he used to get when there was no FOX News. Perhaps the book should be called, "Jealousy: The Fall of The Liberal Trial Lawyer Pundit Industry, Post O.J."

I was on this show, yesterday, regarding the FBI raid on LIFE for Relief and Development, the largest Islamic charity in America, which took Seattle area Democratic Congressman Jim McDermott (and 2 others) on a Saddam propaganda trip to Iraq. We talked about contributions he took from LIFE benefactor and Saddam oil-for-food agent Shakir Alkhafaji. Today is a follow-up, regarding McDermott's response on the radio station, earlier today.

Me on Al-Arabiya
As I wrote previously, in August, I did a lengthy interview for Al-Arabiya, the Dubai-based Arabic network that is a rival to Al-Jazeera (on which I've also appeared). It was for a 25-minute piece about Islam and Muslims in America--a 9/11 fifth anniversary report. The report was set to air today, on the network's "The Third Eye" program.
