A Labour peer who was jailed for sending text messages shortly before his car was in a fatal motorway crash has blamed his imprisonment on a Jewish conspiracy.

Lord [DS: Nazir] Ahmed claimed that his prison sentence for dangerous driving resulted from pressure placed on the courts by Jews “who own newspapers and TV channels”. I only really hated one new movie this weekend, but the other two were just okay.

* “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone“: As a kid, my late dad bought me magic tricks, and I used to perform at family gatherings. So, I love magic, magicians, and movies about either or both. And I really wanted–and expected–to love this movie. But I expected too much. After all, I thought a comedy about magicians starring Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, and Jim Carrey would be extremely funny–laugh-out-loud funny. But it wasn’t. Not even close. Yes, I laughed a few times, some of it forced laughter. But mostly I sat in silence. Most of the jokes were either lame, not funny, or entirely groan-worthy. I guess that’s why it’s coming out in March and not in May when the real movie season begins. I liked the story, which was entertaining enough, but it was not anything new. One thing I know about new Pope Francis is what I knew about the previous Popes before him: that he will have the same anti-Israel position of the previous Popes and that he will be unable to stem the tide of lapsed Catholics that is ever growing concomitant with the ever growing population of Islam in the world. His track record on the second count was not good in Argentina. And Argentina’s Muslims count him as a “friend.” While one of the Pope’s assistants took Israel’s side during the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah war, the new Pope assured Argentinian Muslims on whose side he was.

In fact, Pope Francis, as Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio in Argentina, was unable to stop a rate of lapsed Catholicism that reached 80% of Argentina’s Catholic population. And he was unable to stop the Muslim religion which grew–during the time he was Cardinal–to be the largest Muslim population in South America, some of it through immigration, but a good deal of it via conversion by lapsed Catholics to Islam. Under Bergoglio, Argentina’s Muslim population grew to be the second largest Muslim population in the Americas led only by the United States, with even more Muslims than Canada has. If you expect that he will be able to do throughout world what he was unable to do in Argentina, think again. He has a poor track record. His record is one of dhimmitude and capitulation toward Islam. Don’t look for that to change now that he’s on the world stage. People don’t change in their 70s, not even Popes.

While 92% of Argentina is Catholic, fewer than 20% of that 92% are practicing Catholics (according to the CIA Factbook), a number that got to that point under Pope Francis’ leadership as a Cardinal. And, also during his reign, Argentina’s Muslim population became the largest in Latin America, with estimates ranging from 500,000 Muslims (by the International Religious Freedom Report) to one million (by the more reliable Pew Research Center). I’m always amazed at the vast number of morons who think Mark Levin is a genius, when in fact, he’s quite ignorant and proves it time and again. But, then again, they are morons, so I can’t expect them to know better that Levin doesn’t know better. Tonight, on his nationally syndicated radio show, Levin attacked “those who attack Reagan for not going after Al-Qaeda when they bombed our Marines in Beirut.” Just in case you think he meant to say something else, he continued, “We had a lot going on in the world and Reagan didn’t know who they were. We didn’t know where they were or whom to attack.” Levin also mentioned that Al-Qaeda hung from a telephone pole, Colonel William R. “Rich” Higgins and William Buckley, our CIA station chief in Beirut. HUH???? Um, giant clue to Mark Levin: Hezbollah (with help from the P.L.O.) bombed our Marines in Beirut. Hezbollah tortured to death Higgins and Buckley (although Higgins’ remains were hung, there was no telephone pole–as much as Levin likes to embellish to make up for the important facts about which he has zero clue). Here’s a refresher on the Marine barracks bombing for dummies like Mark Levin.

And we knew exactly who did it because Hezbollah claimed credit loud and clear for all of these acts–the bombings in 1983, the torture murder of Buckley in 1985, and the torture murder of Higgins in 1990. We knew exactly where Hezbollah was–in South Lebanon–and its spiritual leader, Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah, was very open and public in delivering the fatwa to bomb both our embassy and the Marine Barracks. And we knew it was Hezbollah when they trampled to death Robert Dean Stethem in 1985, during the Hezbollah hijacking of TWA Flight 847. But Mark Levin kept saying it was Al-Qaeda (which did NOT even exist at the time) because Mark Levin is a glorified ignoramus who pretends to know it all but actually knows very little of anything. He claims to have worked in the Reagan Administration at the time, to boot. But even I–who was in Eighth grade at the time, NOT working in the Reagan Administration–know these facts. He does not because he’s a complete ignoramus.

And, yes, Ronald Reagan knew exactly who did these acts, and he never ever responded to Hezbollah. Instead, he put America’s tail between its legs and pulled out of Lebanon, rewarding Hezbollah for this act. Osama Bin Laden cited this specifically for his evidence that Americans don’t fight back, but just retreat from attack. He was right. But he didn’t count on know-nothing, chicken-hawk partisan idiots like Mark Levin to make ridiculous, fictional excuses for this wimpitude on top of that. Mark Levin is a moron and a fraud for neither recognizing this nor getting it right, but even more so for making excuses using lies, such as that this was “Al-Qaeda” and “we didn’t know who did it . . ., where they were.” We knew all of these things. And here’s a tip, Mark: Al-Qaeda is a Sunni organization. These were Shi’ite Muslims, the dominant group of Muslims by far in Lebanon. If Mark was such a genius (not even close), he’d know this basic stuff. He doesn’t. He’s simply a whining, shrieking ignoramus who’d get slaughtered in a legit debate (I’d smush him like the diseased insect that he is). He’s just a clueless partisan.

Say a prayer for 70-year-old Jerry Kush and another person who is unnamed, the latest victims of jihad in America. Kush was stabbed nearly to death at a Starbucks in Vancouver, Washington, by a man who said he was “willing to die for Islam.”

Once a large community numbering tens of thousands, there are now less than 100 Jews still living in Egypt because of the persecution, pogroms, murders, and rapes they suffered at the hands of Egypt’s Muslims AND Coptic Christians. And, now, the post-Mubarak “liberated, democratic” Egyptian government stopped the screening of the documentary, “Jews of Egypt,” probably because the sad history of Jews in Egypt doesn’t speak well of Egypt or its largely Muslim and Copt population. Below is the trailer of the film. The movie was supposed to be shown today, but now it won’t be.

Egyptian authorities have failed to issue a permit to screen a historical documentary about the country’s Jewish community, the film’s producer said on Wednesday, one of a series of disputes over freedom of expression under the Islamist government. . . . I’ve always said that Americans do more to destroy our country–through the culture wars–than anything Islamic terrorists could ever hope to do to us. And so it goes with “Seventeen Magazine,” the movie “Spring Breakers,” and its teen stars. Below is the “Red Band” trailer (meaning it has the explicit stuff from a movie, which is normally cut out of trailers) for the movie “Spring Breakers.” But even the Red Band trailer doesn’t show the raunch of this flick. The violent, explicit movie features young stars like Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens from “High School Musical” engaged in nudity, having threesome sex, doing drugs and alcohol, and robbing banks. And Seventeen Magazine, which is aimed at 12-year-old girls, is promoting the movie to America’s young tweens. (Nobody 17 actually reads “Seventeen,” as by then, girls have long outgrown it.)

The April cover of Seventeen features Ashley Benson, a star of the movie, posing with an American flag sewn on her crotch. That’s offensive enough. But the magazine cover also urges the 12-year-olds who read it to learn about “Her Edgy New Movie,” which is going to make them want to see it, too. And perhaps emulate it. The movie is R-Rated, which means no one in the Seventeen mag reading audience should be able to see it. So why is the magazine promoting and glamorizing the damaging behavior in the movie?

Hey, more of the “Islamic modesty” that Boston Globe columnist and faux-conservative Jeff Jacoby was lecturing us about with regard to the terrorists at Gitmo. A British girl enslaved by a Muslim sex slave ring was raped by 90 men in one weekend. And, yet, UK authorities said she wasn’t at risk.

And by the way, if you think this can’t happen here, think again. We have several Muslim sex slave rings, such as the one in liberal Seattle and the national one that stretched from Minnesota to Tennessee, which had unfettered, unsecured access to planes at our airports.) Notice that they don’t refer to this as what it is: a Muslim sex slave ring, but as an “Asian” one. Nice euphemism and very inaccurate and defamatory to Buddhists and Hindus, per usual.

Time for another game of “Guess the Religion” . . .

A teenage girl was raped 90 times in one weekend it has been revealed, in a shocking report into modern-day slavery in the UK. The report, due to be published tomorrow by the Centre for Social Justice, contains evidence from the girl, who was 16 at the time she was taken into slavery and raped by 90 men. It’s official: you can now earn a Bronze Star for Islamo-pandering.

At America’s high schools and colleges, there is massive grade inflation and political correctness, so it’s no surprise that the natural progression of this has infested America’s military. We already know that the U.S. Armed Forces is infected with the incurable virus of political correctness and dhimmitude (non-Muslims pandering to Islam). And so it’s no surprise that the U.S. military now inflates medals and gives ’em out for politically correct non-valor.

After the accidental burning last year of Qurans by U.S. troops in Afghanistan sparked deadly rioting, an Air National Guard chaplain from Springfield stepped in. . . . For his effort, Lt. Col. Jon Trainer received the prestigious Bronze Star — a medal given for heroic or meritorious achievement in connection with operations against an armed enemy.

Remember Stanley Cohen, the HAMAS lawyer? Well, now, there’s more where he came from in the form of lawyer Frederick Cohn, who represents a Taliban terrorist. Cohen, Cohn . . . same difference. Both self-hating, anti-Semitic Jews who are a huge part of the problem we face. Cohn wants a Jew-free jury, something that’s illegal and unconstitutional, in the trial against terrorist Abdel Hameed Shehadeh. I’ve written about Shehadeh previously on this site.

Read the Federal Criminal Complaint against Shehadeh. He was a follower of Anwar Al-Awlaki and Bin Laden and recruited over 40 New York residents to become jihadists and attack America, including a homeless couple, teachers, college students, and cab drivers and he nearly escaped the US when the feds caught up with him in Hawaii. We don’t know who these people are, but they roam America’s streets today. The NY Daily News, which had the list back in 2011 when it was accidentally posted online, refused to disclose it. Not sure how any of this has anything to do with Jews or Zionism. Yet, his Juden lawyer is seeking a Judenrein jury. So, to sum up: we can’t see the list of terrorists roaming our streets, but he should get a Judenfrei jury. Yup, that’s the ticket.

An attorney has hatched a shocking scheme to defend an accused terrorist in Brooklyn federal court: Purge the Jews.

Lawyer Frederick Cohn will ask a judge today to bar Jews from the jury hearing the case against Abdel Hameed Shehadeh, who’s accused of lying about trying to join jihadists in Pakistan. “Given that there’s going to be inflammatory testimony about Jews and Zionism, I think it would be hard for Jews to cast aside any innate antipathy,” said Cohn, who is Jewish.
