Whiny Brits: They Let Mucho Muslims In, Then Kvetch Over Olympic Security

By Debbie Schlussel

As longtime readers know, I’m no fan of the left-wing, anti-Israel anti-American Olympic Games, which appease Islam to no end.  (And FYI, when Mitt Romney headed the Salt Lake Games, he attacked Americans (in The Guardian) for cheering on Team USA, just months after 9/11.  Mitt Happens.)  And as I’ve said before, I have no desire to watch the Palestinian Rafah Tunnel Luge Team march at the Opening Ceremony in their official clothing sponsors, Kassem Rockets and Ahmed’s Disintegrating Belts. Ditto for the Iranian Olympic Holocaust Cartoon Sand Sculpture Team.

But we know, from the 1972 Munich Olympics–in which Israeli athletes were murdered by Palestinian terrorists–that the Olympics are a target for terrorists.  And, so, I roll my eyes at the British people in this video from ABC News, who whine about the Surface to Air Missiles that will be on top of their buildings during the Games, in order to combat terrorist attacks.  After all, these are the same British who allowed their country to become a satellite state of Greater Arabia (soon to be America, too).  And, now, they whine about the consequences.  Um, you get what you deserve. Let me guess: this guy couldn’t care less, for instance, if Israeli or American athletes were blown up by a missile or rocket. That’s the usual British attitude.

The ONLY reason I would go to Europe now is to look at the great works of art. Well, I have my textbooks on the Louve and the Prado, so I guess that will have to do. Other than Switzerland (they are correct in this but are otherwise useless scum who have other countries always do the heavy lifting), Europe is a walking dead man.

Romney isn’t worth much but he’s better than Obama, who is a truly terrifying dipstick.

As you also know, I don’t give a damn about professional sports. Since returning from New Zealand in 2007, I have not watched ONE professional sporting event all the way through.

Like my friend Tom Kratman, I’m much more concerned about Islamic terrorists than some lame-brained Olympic games.

occam – well, terrorism IS an official olympic sport so that makes you a sports fan…

The anti-Israel Brits awarded Jerusalem to the fictional country of “Palestine.”

No wonder they’re kvetching about “security” at their Games. If I was Israel, I’d stay away after such insulting treatment!

The reason the IOC dhimmis gave for not commemorating the Israeli athletes is this would lead to a walkout by Arab countries.

Which tells us that 40 years later, Jewish lives still don’t count.

And the the ultimate absurdity is the people who perpetrated the massacre get treated as a country!

As I said previously, do not be surprised if the next British PM eats curried goat instead of bangers for breakfast.
As for Israel. We do have a history you know. Remember the King David Hotel? As far as our own history Chamberlain’s white paper appeasement worked for us, for a few days anyway.
Peace in our time mates. Allah save the Queen!
Did you here the new pop song “london swings like an Arab Spring”?
facetiously yours. “anything for a quid” Rupert Murdoch.

Debbie I’ve spent a bit of time in England. They aren’t big fan of the Jews as a group but they tend to like individual Jews in many cases. I feel the same way about lawyers. Call me.

@cj walters- you need to read the article again, she did not say the countries are ALL left-wing, Anti-American, anti-Israel (even though a good majority are especially from Arab/Muslim countries). Debbie is talking about how the people in charge are always bending over backwards for the Muslims but since that outrage of Munich 1972, the IOC (International Olympic Committe) have yet mention in mourning what happened to the Israeli athletes.

Now about your moronic question: Or do you resent the fact that many of the events will be won by competitors from other countries other than Israel or the USA? This shows the lack of reading skills because if this is your conclusion from reading Debbie’s article, you need help. If you make this conclusion because you hate the USA and Israel, then your just showing your true colors.

I’m trying really hard to make the leap from a guy who lives in an apartment in a block that is not at risk of attack from terrorists (and a place that I know well, by the way) and who is concerned about the risk of having missiles on his roof per se, and about how that could make it a potential target for terror, all of which seems legitimate…..to “Let me guess: this guy couldn’t care less, for instance, if Israeli or American athletes were blown up by a missile or rocket. That’s the usual British attitude.” And the two just aren’t linked. We’ve got big security on the ay over here, as the report pointed out. And we have experience of Muslim terrorists killing people on the streets. So I think you’re way out of line.

That was an example of one man “kvetching” A single swallow does not a summer make. I and the vast majority of people I know are all for as much security as we can get for an event that a lot of us don’t even want in the UK.

I for one remember the massacre in 1972. I watched it unfold and I remember the general feeling of horror and sorrow at what happened. And I agree with you about the IOC sweeping the whole damn thing under the carpet. I’ve long had issues with the politics behind the Olympic games, and I find the whole capital city debacle to be deplorable. Contrary to what you may believe, however, we are still taught over here that Jerusalem is the capital of ISRAEL since… well, it IS. Don’t mark that piece of crap as typical of the attitudes in the UK. Does that make me an “unusual” Brit? I don’t think so, and besides, I’m not a Brit. I’m English LONG before that.

There is not a day that passes by without me wondering what happened to the Western mentality. Did they lose their intelligence or did they lose their minds.

Good teacher’s union schools and socialist pigs ruined America.

@Cj Walters -your quote: (although the USA has had a great deal of influence in their development ) My question: How did the US have to do anything with corruption occurring in the Olympics? If that was the case, the USA would be the country with the most gold medals, the US could have told the Olympic committee to not have the 1980 Olympics in Moscow after the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, etc. I believe your hatred for the US is being stretched to its limits.

I wonder what the whiny little twerp in the video would have done in WW2 when London was being bombed to bits. His family must be so proud to have a pant wetting coward in their bloodline.
