PLO Terrorists Mourn Amb Chris Stevens: “Close Friend” Who “Understood Palestinian Side”

By Debbie Schlussel

Yesterday, I told you about slain U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens’ strong pan-Islamic sympathies and career of pandering to jihadists. Reader Jon Grant of Grant Patent Services said he believes Stevens was probably anti-Israel. And now we have proof that Jon’s instincts were spot on. Top P.L.O. terrorists–especially those who were tightest with terrorist-in-chief Yasser Arafat–say they were very close to Stevens, who they say “understood the Palestinian side,” which is code for “he was pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel.” Among those mourning Stevens’ death were Hanan Ashrawi, Peter Jennings’ sexy (by Palestinian standards) former girlfriend and Yasser Arafat’s favorite Christian mouthpiece and suicide bombing proponent. Saeb Erekat, who took the same positions, and was Arafat’s chief negotiator and his spokesman, called Stevens “a close friend” but qualified Stevens’ murder with a statement about how “the discrediting of our prophet Mohammad” is not tolerable. Christopher worked in the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem, where he took the Palestinians’ side consistently.

Yasser’s People Mourn Close Friend of the PLO, Chris Stevens

Ma’an, the official P.L.O. news agency reports:

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — Palestinian negotiators on Thursday remembered US ambassador Christopher Stevens as fair-minded and described his death in Libya as a major loss for American foreign policy.

Translation: a major loss for the jihad.

Stevens, who was killed with three colleagues Tuesday in an attack on US institutions in Benghazi, had served years earlier as a political officer at the US consulate in Jerusalem.

“It’s just tragic,” said Hanan Ashrawi, a PLO leader and veteran negotiator with Israel. “It’s very sad. I thought he was a person who was not just intelligent but also caring.”

As a mediator, the Arabic-speaking envoy “understood the Palestinian situation well. He was very understanding and he listened; he didn’t repeat talking points,” Ashrawi said in an interview.

“He could have made a big difference in people’s lives and, really, to America’s standing and credibility. His loss is a loss not only to US foreign policy but also to its standing with other states.”

Um, when Palestinian terrorist mouthpieces for the P.L.O. say that someone made a big difference to America’s standing and credibility, they mean “he was as anti-Israel as we are.”

Senior PLO negotiator Saeb Erekat blasted Stevens’ murder as an “ugly act of terror.”

Yup, and a PLO official definitely knows “ugly acts of terror.” It’s what he stands for.

“He was a really close friend of the family, and I am really shocked,” Erekat told Ma’an. “He was murdered in a very ugly act of terror, and it’s so despicable.”

Erekat said he had personally communicated to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton the Palestinian people’s condolences.

“Such a good man, such a great loss. . . . Of course no one tolerates the discrediting of our prophet Mohammad . . . ,” he said of the alleged motive.

Yup, he kissed the asses of the P.L.O. when they were blowing up Jews at bars, pizza joints, hotels, Passover Seders, and everywhere else. And yet savagery in response to speech they don’t like is more important than their dhimmi-bassador’s life.

So typical.

Jon Grant:

This man was fundamentally working against American and Western interests by fundamentally supporting Islamo-terrrorists. And as such, he was more of a traitor to American than a hero. He worked for the State Department, but like so many in the State Department, their loyalties lie with the Arabic-oil interests rather than American interests.

It’s ironic and sad that he was killed because ostensibly he represented America in the eyes of the Muslims who killed him. But in reality he represented those Muslims against America.

Is this upside down world? Where it’s more important to protect peoples’ “feelings” than protect peoples’ lives?

You’d think the persons that draw cartoons or other forms of entertainment are the bigger monsters than the persons that KILL over them.

PitandPen on September 14, 2012 at 5:12 pm

Islam places more emphasis on a good image than on moral behavior and in doing right by others.

Without moral rules – you have barbarians – and that’s exactly who they are. The kind of people would murder a man over a film no one ever heard of strikes decent people as completely insane.

Its the standard MO in the Muslim World and they kill each other, their dhimmi friends as well as their enemies at the drop of a hat.

Being a dhimmi spear carrier for Islam doesn’t save you from their wrath if you happen to be caught in the wrong place and time. And they are always sure to issue their phony condolences for later.

Stevens’ real crime wasn’t that he didn’t understand and adore them – his real crime was being a hated American. That’s all that mattered in the end to those who took his life.

It gives us who hate this evil cult no amount of small comfort that pandering to Islam is no guarantee that you won’t be disposable to them – even if you convert to Islam to stay alive.

NormanF on September 14, 2012 at 7:19 pm

This should be a lesson to those who wish to pander and become dhimmis. You are always expendable. Building up personal and financial ties with Muslims will not shield you from the storm when it comes. For in the end, you are still an infidel. In Islam’s eyes you are worthy of death or dhimmitude, which is a slower form of death.

Worry01 on September 14, 2012 at 5:14 pm

Worry01 I totally agree with you. no amount of dhimmitude will save you it actually works against you. no amount of i love yous will win their “hearts and minds”, a phrase that makes me puke. obama and clinton and the rest are fools of the first order and will cause the deaths of many many more. Stevens’ death reminds me of the Italian do-gooder, hamas lover in gaza, who was paid back for his do-gooding by the arabs he loved so much.

You might say he had friends up the ass amongst the Muslims….

After reading more about Mr. Stevens and his background, his end was suitable and poetically just. He slept with cockroaches, and those friendly roaches finally devoured him.

shalom from jerusalem
there is a god, this is great news. great news. i am so happy. another useful idiot who was out to hurt israel is dead. good. i love it when the fakensteins are upset. now if the other useful idiots could see what their fate is but they are too arrogant to learn.

Shabat shalom mother fuckers!

Kinda sad, but this concretes DS point that these savages just need a reason. The guy worked for them, and they still murdered him.

“Attack on the Saudi Embassy in Khartoum
Carried out by the Black September Organization in 1973, the attack on the Saudi embassy in Khartoum was a militant attack which took ten diplomats hostage. After President Richard Nixon stated that he refused to negotiate with terrorists, and insisted that “no concessions” would be made, the three Western hostages were killed.[1]”

Worry01 on September 14, 2012 at 6:25 pm

Another reason I don’t mourn the SOB’s passing. The attack on him by Islamic terrorists was not a reflection in America.

And when you have the irony of Islamic terrorists praising him to the skies that also tells us a great deal about the hypocrisy in the Muslim World.

Chris Stevens won’t be missed.

It is rather like Mafia types sending flowers to the family of the man they recently murdered.

Was Hanan Ashrawi really Peter Jennings girlfriend? No conflict of interest there, eh? Was it before or after she had that g-d awful mole removed from her fugly face?

Karen on September 14, 2012 at 6:57 pm

There is no accounting for taste Karen. Hanan Ashrawi is not someone I would associate with anything intimate.

This man was, essentially, an anti-Semite, anti-Israel, anti-America, and anti-West. He was a graduate of Berkeley, and found an intellectual home for his anti-American, radical views on that campus.

His death is no loss for the West. Put another way, since he supported terrorists, what goes around comes around.

He was another pro-Arab State Department scumbag.

Jonathan E. Grant on September 14, 2012 at 7:11 pm

Hi Jonathan – you may have seen by now on other web sites that there is a strong likelihood that Mr. Stevens was gay. If that is the case, it means that Obama’s State Department has not the slightest idea of Islamic culture. It would also indicate
that the ambassador had his head in the sand.

Nir Leiu on September 15, 2012 at 4:06 am

Debbie semi-apologized when she quoted you in the past two posts!

Actually, I don’t consider the Islamic terrorist attack upon Steven to be an attack upon America.

Normally, I’d be as outraged as every one else – but let’s put it like this: any one who goes to work in the Muslim World either hates America, is a certifiable lunatic or a has death wish.

I leave it up to my fellow readers to decide for themselves who Stevens was. One thing thing is clear though – it shows his judgment or the lack of it in the people he backed in Libya and he should have know better who they were.

There are lots like him in the Foggy Bottom bureaucracy and the bottom line is the Stevenses of our Foreign Service do not serve America well.

NormanF on September 14, 2012 at 7:34 pm

at least i won’t have to pay his for retirement, now if we could get about a 1,000 more beauracrats killed that would realy save us some money.

It seems that being pro-Moooooooslim these days pays back in dividends!

Peeps of Ambassador Stevens ilk spend so much time demonizing the truth-tellers (and the truth is plain to see if one’s eyes are open) I wonder if those truth-tellers he came across and saw as the bete noir flashed through his mind when the satanic, Islamic demons were betraying him in a way HE never thought possible. Oh what a tangled web…

Skunky on September 14, 2012 at 8:15 pm

It is a sad day when American’s get killed by scumbag terrorists. That being said I really don’t feel sorry for Chris Stevens. It seems to me that he never met a jihadist that he didn’t like. It is people like him who infest the halls of Foggy Bottom like pandering cockroaches. It seems that it was fitting for this clown to meet his end from the very people that he stooged for so much. Well you know what they say, with friends like these who needs enemas.

Ken b on September 14, 2012 at 8:19 pm

I can only assume that many of the people writing comments have not studied Islamic law.
Under Sharia it is forbidden to say any kind of praise for an infidel.
So these comments about from Muslims saying anything nice about the deceased HAVE to be peppered with “Well he deserved what he got because Mohamed was being insulted.”
Spend a little time reading some of the Q&A on
It is forbidden to go to an infidel’s birthday party because that would be giving honor to an infidel.
It is even forbidden to go to an infidel coworker’s going away party because that would imply that the coworker had worth and would be missed, thus giving them a tiny bit of honor.
The Muslims are taught that they are the highest creation of Allah and only they are worthy of praise.
All others are infidels and worthy of death or dimmitude.
In Egypt it is against the law for a non-Muslim to have a supervisory position in any company where he is over any Muslims.
Because Muslims are always higher than non-Muslims.
Seriously, read about 50 of the Q&A on that website and you’ll be terrified to learn what these people believe and are taught.

There are about 50 Islamic countries. Just put around 20-however many diplomats in each of them, and just announce that there are a few movies detailing the life of Mohammed in the eyes of the Infidels. That should be enough to have more embassy attacks, like Libya. We could do wonders if we could just make our entire population of Arabists go away just like that.

Oh, and once they’re all dead, sever diplomatic ties w/ all those countries. That will automatically see to it that Muslims can’t emigrate to the US, since they’d need US embassies there to even apply.

Infidel on September 15, 2012 at 2:01 am

Infidel – I like the way you think.

Nir Leiu on September 15, 2012 at 4:12 am

Now we can get a clearer image of the phrase Moslem Outreach.
First up, it diminishes the US space and military programs.
Then it is code for “Obama’s Holy Jihad against the West.” All
of the former enemies of the US etc. are now the friends and allies of the Holy One. Money, military goods, you name it — they get it with no questions asked ( certainly not by the likes of Wimp Boehner! ) The Brotherhood will continue to get US taxpayer dollars and military hardware. All that military gear to islamic nations is to arm our enemies before the present riots escalate to the next phase against US and other western interests. And many of our congressmen have been silenced. A handful of pundits speak out — but media is fully supporting the destruction of the US Constitution and with it, the end of western civilization.Moslem uprisings in almost 20 nations, even in Sydney!!!

All this death and destruction for 14 centuries so one madman could control those around him and create more sex perks for himself!

There was no purpose for this film to be made but to mock Muhammad, anger Muslims, and blame the Jews. But the plan went wrong, an ambassador was murdered, and Nakoula the government informant has been disgraced. Michaiah!! the Jewish people have narrowly escaped another blood libel.

You all should be ashamed at the glee your feeling over the death of a fellow American. You all assume that Islam is a monolithic entity, that all Muslims say and feel exactly the same about everything. Which is patently absurd, Christians have tons of sects with varying degrees of evangelicalism, so why would anyone assume that Islam is any different?
A conspicuous absence from the article and comments section are the actual details of the attack. It was a well organized and yet it only involved about four persons. They were confronted by a crowds who tried to stop them and ended up taking Mr. Stevens to the hospital when they found his body. It wasn’t a uniform group of hateful persons but a few bad apples.
It is disgusting to me that people who proclaim their own righteousness in such an agregious manner not only disregard facts but take such delight in the death of an American who represented your interests abroad. Partly due to his efforts, Libyans have some new found respect for America, in a region that despises us.
RIP, Mr Stevens.

These are also the same kind of people who wave their flags and scream the loudest about how much they love america. Do you notice how these people try to equate subservience to Israel with being pro american. It smells a bit close to treason.

Your pity for this foolish and misguided individual who perpetrated evil due to his delusions is misplaced. He supported murderers and villains and brought evil upon the world. This same evil snapped back at him and thankfully for us removed his plague from the world.

Your comparison of Christianity and Islam is in error. There are various forms of Islam but they are all united in their single goal of taking over the world by force. There is only a tiny minority of them that does not support the violence and wickedness that they represent. It is only because of idiotic PC or willful blindness due to fear that anyone would come to any other conclusion.

This tool of evil in no way represented my interests but was actively supporting a movement to lead to our destruction and subjugation. It was divine mercy that he was removed by that evil brigade (far more than 4 people with the complicity of the Libyan government) and saved us the bother of having to deal with him.

Our support of these regimes is equivalent to our support of the Nazis and is an insane and self destructive policy and does not deserve any credence in the Republican party.

Muhammadanism is a cult whose members believe that their hero was an ideal human being. But the media has the talent to change that image and portray Muhammad as vile and perverted. In less than a decade the cult would be without membership, the enlightened would jump ship because they had no desire for being associated with a pedophile.

chowching on September 17, 2012 at 11:14 am

RS is aptly named as is his entire premise most Muslims do not support violence and terrorism.

Even today there are fresh protests against a non-existent movie. They don’t need any excuses to hate and murder Americans.

And RS individuals such as the likes of RS in excusing the savage cult called Islam on here will result in more Americans being murdered in the future. Of all the world’s philosophies, Islam is unique in its singular and abiding hatred for mankind.

A fact no amount of Islamo-pandering and effort to understand them will ever change.
