Whole Foods “Libertarian” John Mackey Takes Millions From Govt to Put Small Biz Owners Outta Biz
Remember when a buncha morons on the right–including Michelle Fraudkin–gushed over Whole Foods’ CEO John Mackey, the self-proclaimed “Libertarian”–when he spoke out against Obamacare, and they urged us to buy products from Whole Foods, even though the pretentious supermarket chain is anti-Israel, pro-Muslim, and dumped all Israeli olive oil (and many other Israeli products) in favor of Palestinian terrorist HAMAS olive oil? Well, like many prominent self-described “libertarians,” Mackey is only Libertarian when it comes to spending HIS money on you. When it comes to spending YOUR money on him, well . . . he’s not so libertarian, after all. What’s that, you say? Whole Foods is expensive and caters to an upper-class crowd that won’t compete against the regular markets in the area? WRONG. In fact, the tax millions went not only to building the store, but also go to subsidizing lower prices and more “soul food” products to appeal to the poorer Detroiters in the area and get them to shop there.
