It’s time for another edition of Your Day in “Religion of Peace” Peacefulness.  Yesterday,  yet another “moderate” Muslim “American of Dearbornistan shot his fellow Muslim in a dispute over a pick-up basketball game.  Can you say, “Al-Ghetto?”  Yup, this is Hezbollah’s American Ghetto.  It’s yet another example of how American culture does NOT moderate them.  They just incorporate it into their savage way of life.  That’s why I call ’em Hip-Hop-bollah.

Local TV reports say that 23-year-old Hassan Zeidan was shot multiple times by a 35-year-old fellow Muslim who ran to his car and shot Zeidan in the back, as Zeidan was walking away.  Then, he shot him in the face and several other places.  Zeidan is now dead.  And this is what one would call Darwin’s work.  They kill each other over basketball, and yet we are supposed to believe they are “peaceful,” “moderate,” and completely unlike the 1.8 billion others who “hijack’ their religion to blow up 3,000 Americans, go on murder sprees at Fort Hood,  and try to blow up Times Square and an airplane with underwear bombs.  It’s funny how morons repeatedly tell us these “moderate,” “American” Muslims are so much different than their fellow co-religionists around the world.  And yet, when it comes down to it, they settle their disputes the same way in Dearborn as they do in Beirut, Bint Jbeil, and Baghdad. Muslims have long insisted on posing for driver’s licenses wearing all sorts of inappropriate religious headgear that makes it impossible to identify them and renders the photo on the ID useless.  And since they get away with this in many instances, then I see no reason for objection to what Niko Alm wore for his Austrian driver’s license.  He is, after all, a pastafarian–you know, a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.  Actually, he’s really an atheist and while he was trying to unfairly mock Christians and Christianity (and I condemn him for that), he unwittingly made a wonderful point about those women who wear hijabs and full-ninja face veils a/k/a niqabs on their driver’s licenses.  Love it.

You’ve probably heard about the lawsuit soon to be filed by the menage-a-cinq from the “Sister Wives” reality TV show.  The man and his four “sister wives” are suing the State of Utah in federal court, challenging the state’s anti-bigamy laws as unconstitutional.  But this lawsuit isn’t about fundamentalist Mormons, as the “Sister Wives” people are.  It’s about Islam, Muslims, and Islamic terrorists, who make up a good portion of the clientele of the plaintiffs’ lawyer in this suit, Jonathan Turley.  Make no mistake, Turley–sleazebag lawyer for Islamic terrorists, including Islamic Jihad founder and convicted terrorist, Sami Al-Arian–is filing this one for his Muslim friends and patrons and using these bozos from Utah as his cover for what he’s really seeking here. Turley says he represented Al-Arian pro bono. But the Bin Ladens reportedly paid for the Al-Arian kids’ expensive college and grad school educations and Al-Arian employed as his key aid, Tariq Hamdi, the man who supplied the satellite battery that helped Bin Laden blow up two U.S. Embassies in East Africa. These are the kinds of people whose interests Turley seeks to advance.

I’ve written about Turley on this site before.  Not only does he love to represent Islamic terrorists and extremists in ACLU-style lawsuits, but he’s been a frequent fixture on the high-paid Arab and Muslim propaganda lecture circuit.  Turley spoke to the national gathering of the openly pro-HAMAS/Hezbollah ADC (the deceptively-named American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, which has as one of its top officials a “former” Islamic terrorist.  And he’s attacked me for daring to mention that Lara Logan was raped by Muslims and saw the real way that Muslims treat women when Muslims are “liberated” to act as they please.  And, yet, when it comes down to it, Jonathan Turley knows exactly who Muslims are and how they treat women, but he won’t admit it. Shakil Afridi is the rare pro-American Muslim who risked his life for America and might lose his life for it.  Today, this medical doctor who helped the U.S. confirm that Osama Bin Laden was the guy living in that crappy Paki mansion . . . well, he sits in a Pakistani prison awaiting his fate, after he was arrest by the pro-Bin Laden ISI.  He committed the ultimate crime of helping the evil great Satan America assassinate Islam’s greatest hero, Bin Laden.  And, per usual, we betray the Muslims who truly risk everything to do the right thing. . .  and we befriend those Muslims (the majority) who would slit our throats in an instant, given the opportunity.

Since Dr. Afridi’s role in the Bin Laden kill was so important–and since he holds a senior government health post in Pakistan–it’s obvious that this man’s life would be in danger thereafter.  So why didn’t Barack Obama, the CIA, and others involved make plans to evacuate the doctor with them or otherwise secrete him out of the country?  Perhaps he didn’t want to go.  But that’s unlikely, since he’d have to know that once he was found out it, the whole country would want to kill him.  I do know, from my own experience representing the few moderate Muslims who actually exist and risk their lives to help the U.S. that we generally betray them (read about what America did to my Muslim clients, here and here), preferring to hug the HAMASniks at CAIR Action Network and “former” terrorists like Imad Hamad of ADC, who urged Detroit Muslims to go to a memorial service for the late leader of Hezbollah, Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah.

And one thing is certain:  if we don’t get Dr. Afridi out of Pakistan, he will die, either at the hands of the government or at the hands of his countrymen, most of whom love Bin Laden and are enraged that we killed him on their soil and did it so skillfully and stealthily. The full names of nurses who helped him in getting Bin Laden’s DNA from the crappy Paki “mansion” are now being leaked all over anti-Semitic, extremist Paki websites. These people will be murdered for helping us.

When a college allows you to apply via twitter–substituting 140 characters or less for a college application essay–that should tell you something about the quality of education you’re getting:  dumbed-down and nearly non-existent.

Since a college education is basically worthless now–in terms of getting a job or getting an actual education–I suppose it’s only consistent that they dumb down how you get in along with what you “learn” after you get in (as in, nothing–most college grads fail in the most basic knowledge).

Still, you gotta wonder about schools–and now scholarship applications–that involve Twitter.  Makes them look more like retail chain promotions than selection processes to recognize academic achievement and performance.

We already know that Marx has realized his dream–that larger and larger segments of American society are morons very much at home in the lumpenproletariat of idiocy.  And now colleges and scholarships are making it official. They say they want to emphasize social networking to students. But social networking is part of what has coarsened American kids and made them more stupid. It’s like colleges requiring kids to perform a rap for admissions. And don’t bet on that being far behind.  Hip-hop is already part of the curriculum at most colleges.  Here’s a tip:  if you’re going to college to learn how to tweet, save your money and stay home.  Ditto for any college that agrees to let you tweet in lieu of your college application essay.  Most of those doing that probably don’t know what “in lieu of” even means.

At the University of Iowa, a good tweet is worth $37,000.

That’s the price of a full scholarship to the university’s graduate business school, and that’s what a student hopeful can win in a contest that takes tweeting to a new level. Remind me again why Barack Hussein Obama, Lara “I Was Raped by 240 Wiccan Men @ Tahrir Square” Logan, and Anderson “the Richard Simmons of CNN” Cooper said it was such a great idea for us to force Hosni Mubarak out of Egypt and allow a mob of Islamic savages to take over the place?  I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again:  Mubarak was our ally.  He was the type of tough, authoritarian ruler needed to keep these Ismaelite crazies and vildah chayas [a Yiddish term used to describe “humans” who act like “wild animals”] from rioting on a regular basis.  He was the only guy keeping things stable at the Egyptian-Gaza border.  Now, you have total chaos brought to you by these new, glorious “democrats.”  And the latest is this, the third Egyptian bombing of an important gas pipeline that is Israel’s major source of gas . . . gas that would be Israeli-owned if the country hadn’t given up the land to these Jew-hating, anti-Christian jihadists in Egypt. And lest you say that this is just the work of a few terrorists, you should note that Mubarak’s former Egyptian pipeline officials are on trial for the crime of selling gas to Israel. Israel knew there was gas (and oil) in the Sinai, and these sales to Israel were an understood part of Israel giving Egypt the Sinai Peninsula under the Camp David Peace accords. So much for that piece of paper . . .

Saboteurs blew up a pipeline carrying gas from Egypt to Israel and Jordan on Monday, forcing a shutdown in the flow of gas, Egyptian security sources said.

The explosion took place in the early morning at a station along the pipeline in the northern Sinai Peninsula at Bir Abd, 60 km east of the Suez Canal, the sources said.

Watch this report about prisons allowing pregnant moms to have and raise their kids in jail.  It’s pretty disgusting, and it’s yet another example of how we enable criminals, single moms, and anti-social behavior.  They claim this reduces the women’s recidivism rate, but to me it also reduces their punishment.  Prison is meant as a penalty for doing crime, not two years of  free babymama care, courtesy of law-abiding citizens.  Part of that punishment should be not getting to be with your child if you are pregnant when you go to prison.  It’s not a vacation home.  It’s prison.  This story is revolting, especially the part with the girl whose mother is also in prison with her and the grandkid.  Disgusting.  And granny–who is only 39–looks 59.  Gee, I wonder why. I call that, “Brett Favre’s Family,” minus the football gazillions. These skanks would do the world a favor if they put their kids up for adoption (though one can’t account for the inherited low IQ). Orange jumpsuits and babies are two things that should never mix.

When people are pinching pennies this tight, they won’t waste even a dollar on non-necessities.  That’s what dollar store owners are learning with slumping sales.  The typical dollar store splurges are gone.  They’ve dried up.  Shows just how bad the Barack Obama economy is, with no end in sight to rising unemployment and gas prices.  This story just begs changing of the “old” urban saying, “No dolla, no holla,” to “No dolla, HOLLA!”  You better holler.  Or America will keep sinking. Right now, America has a bunker mentality. But if you just hide in the bunker for the long haul, things won’t move or change. And lest you think I blame only Obama, think again. The GOP runs the House. They are in the driver’s seat, and drove right to spending your money on the economy-saving organizations, NPR and Planned Parenthood. They are as much to blame as Obama for America’s misery and won’t make the hard choices OR the right choices.

Sales and profit growth have started to slump at the deep-discount retailers called dollar stores, after a robust performance during the recession, a sign that even fairly cheap toys and other small indulgences now are a stretch for some consumers.

In the past several weeks, Dollar General Corp., Family Dollar Stores Inc. and Dollar Tree Inc., the country’s three largest chains that sell sharply discounted food, household staples and other items in modest-size stores, all have missed their quarterly earnings targets. As you probably know, today is 7-Eleven Day (get it–7/11?).  The retail convenience store gives out 7/11 ounce free Slurpees every 7-Eleven Day (find your participating local 7-Eleven store), and I usually promote it on the site, as I like to let readers know about free stuff.  I  you live near a 7-Eleven store and have a family, it’s a nice free treat in a very poor Obamaconomy.  I probably won’t partake, even though a 7-Eleven opened up near me, because Slurpees are loaded with high-fructose corn syrup (or chemicals for the sugar free version).  Still, once a year or so won’t kill you. (For those who keep kosher, here is the kosher (and unkosher) Slurpee flavor list, but I don’t have the kosher 7-Eleven location list. Sorry.)

What I find interesting, though, is that free Slurpees at 7-Eleven is a day of higher revenue for 7-Eleven stores.  It’s marketing genius because we know that most Americans won’t just stop at 7.11 ounces.  They might buy a bigger Slurpee, gas, or other stuff:
