You may have noticed, today, that Google’s normal icon on the search engine is a tribute to the late, great American magician Harry Houdini.  Today would have been his 137th birthday. He was brilliant in so many areas aside from magic, and he was a great figure of Americana, whose legend lives well beyond his life.

I’ve always been a fan of Harry Houdini, not just because he was a great American performance artist, and not just because he was a great American Jewish entrepreneur (whose real name was Erik Weisz/Ehrich Weiss), who was born in Hungary and came to Appleton, Wisconsin with his parents.  It’s because, as a kid, I loved to perform magic tricks, and because as an adult, I developed a great appreciation for what you might now know about Houdini–that he was a great skeptic and wrote about his investigations into psychics, mystics, healers, and other snake oil salesman trying to sell people on their powers and their “magical” products, which claimed to heal sundry maladies and problems, but really didn’t.

Why is Republican Governor Rick Snyder of Michigan yukking it up with HAMAS-financier CAIR Action Network and other Muslims who openly hate Jews and support terrorist groups that blow up Americans?  Why is he urging more Muslim foreign immigration to Michigan? Told ya this would happen. I was on to him, early on.

Yesterday, he hosted the CAIR Action Network and the Council of Islamic Organizations of Michigan, both openly pro-HAMAS/Hezbollah, kick off Michigan Muslim Capitol Day. In his speech to these extremists and open Islamic terrorism supporters, Snyder called for more foreign immigration to Michigan as the way to solve the state’s economic woes. Not kidding. Alhamdillullah [Praise allah].

The event was organized by Muzammil Ahmed, who led the campus-wide Boycott Israel campaign when he and I were undergrads at the University of Michigan.  At the time, he repeatedly shouted anti-Semitic slogans at me which were so heinous that a Chaldean woman (whose father used to work for Saddam Hussein) apologized to me for him and said, “We Christian Arabs don’t hate Jews like he does.”  Since then, Ahmed, a recent Michigan CAIR Action Network board member, became a doctor, and among the hospitals where he is on staff is Oakwood Hospital, where pregnant Muslim illegal aliens go to commit Medicaid fraud and have you pick up the dime for the delivery of their babies, who then have birthright citizenship.  Ahmed, a urologist, wrote an op-ed in the Detroit Free Press defending this practice and the Muslim OB/GYN who was a co-conspirator in the scam. Yup, Rick Snyder is chanting “As Salaam Aleikum” (yes, he did that) at an event organized by a man who advocates ripping off Michigan taxpayers at a time when Medicaid is already suffering huge cuts. Shukran [Arabic for Thanks], Rick.  I also blame the unelected, unrepresentative organized Jewish community for this because the uber-kapos continue to host events with Israel-boycotter Ahmed to promote him and his views.

I don’t believe there are this many Muslims who live in a small Orange County, California town . . . yet.  Clearly, these bullies and thug-ettes were bused in to intimidate, threaten, and silence Villa Park, California Councilwoman Deborah Pauly.  Ms. Pauly is right on target about Islam and wants to preserve American, Western values.  But it’s no longer hip to do that in America anymore.  If you do it, you’re derided and protested against, as most of the crowd in this video is doing to her.  The clips of her speaking the truth about Islam are taken from her speech to a rally outside an Islamic fundraiser where Muslims well known to be tied to Islamic terrorist groups (and who openly support them) were keynote speakers and guests of honor.  The fundraiser was for Islamic Circle of North America, a well known past fundraiser for the Holy Land Foundation and open HAMAS supporter.  Federal agents have been watching ICNA for over a decade, but have never been allowed to do anything to shut it down.

The Muslim protesters at her City Council meeting are akin to a Nazi rally outside New York City Hall in 1943.  No different.  Today, the Nazis wear hijabs and keffiyehs and their names are Mohammed.  (And, yes, I’ve repeatedly pointed out the Muslim Nazis back in the ’40s, so please no corrections.) Oh, and one other thing: ISLAM. IS. NOT. A. RACE. But it is a death cult. How sad that Deborah Pauly isn’t “allowed” to tell the truth. G-d bless the counterprotesters who came out to oppose the Islamic forces of evil. Watch both videos. KTLA has already decided this issue because if you look at the top of the page near your browser, the words “Hate Speech” appear, and they aren’t talking about the real hate speech artists, the Muslims.

The headline of this post really should have read, “So Sad, Too Bad: Locked Out NFL Players Forced to ‘Downsize’ . . . to Mercedes.”  ‘Cuz these multimillionaire whiners who are not selling crack in the ‘hood or pumping gas in suburban New Jersey–only because they were accidentally born abnormally big, tall, fast, and strong–are now whining, as I warned you they would.  I also predicted that some would run out of cash fast, and one of those I noted, Antonio Cromartie–babydaddy to eight kids with seven women and only in his mid-20s–already began his moaning and bitching before the lockout even started, faulting the players union for halting his steady flow of Benjamins.

Cromartie aside, it’s kind of ridiculous to hear the comments and whines of out-of-touch players, like Seattle Seahawks guard, Chester Pitts, and Cleveland Browns linebacker, Scott Fujita:

The lifestyle for pro football players, particularly the veterans, is a good one. Seahawks guard Chester Pitts, a nine-year veteran, calls it “very comfortable.”

But Pitts notes it also needs to have limitations, more so when the players have no money coming in from the owners because of the labor stalemate.

Earlier today, I posted an item about actress Elizabeth Taylor, who died today at 78, and how she successfully fought in court to keep the relatives of a Holocaust survivor from getting back their Van Gogh painting plundered from the Nazis.  But reader/attorney Jonathan Grant commented that Taylor auctioned off jewelry to help Israel in one of Israel’s wars.  I have been unable to find anything on that (at one auction to which she and Richard Burton contributed a large amount of money for Israel, others donated jewelry–so pretty close), but I’ve found several other things that cause me to revise how I will remember her.  Sounds like she was pretty courageous most of the time when it comes to Israel and the Middle East. The same goes for Facebook friend Alice Lemos (join me on Facebook), who pointed out some things I’ve looked into, including Taylor’s ban by Muslim countries.  Here are a few things Elizabeth Taylor did, which deserve to be remembered and recognized (all of which, except the last one, are from the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, a very liberal organization not usually trustworthy, but in this case, it seems accurate):

The world of glitterati and star-worship is mourning the death of actress Elizabeth Taylor.  While she was beautiful for a good part of her life and acted in some classic movies, including her turn as Cleopatra, I will remember her for other things, including eight marriages and seven husbands and her weird relationship with Michael Jackson.  I’ll also remember her for her far-left AIDS activism, which told us that those who worry are nuts (even though, just last week, an organ recipient contracted AIDS from a donor).  But, most of all, I’ll remember Elizabeth Taylor for her long, drawn-out court battle to keep Holocaust survivors from getting the painting the Nazis essentially stolen from them and which her father bought for her.  It’s something I’ve mentioned on this site before, and it’s unforgivable.  It is also a valuable episode in illuminating who the real Elizabeth Taylor was as a person.

You would think a woman who preaches to us that we should be humanitarians, especially towards gays with AIDS, would also preach the same toward Jews who fled the Holocaust and their descendants.  But you would be wrong.  When she learned that the Van Gogh she owned was the property of Jews forced to sell it by the Nazis in order to flee Hitler’s Germany on the eve of Kristallnacht, she refused to give the painting back to its rightful owners.  Her fraudulent, quickie “conversion” to Judaism (to marry Eddie Fisher) didn’t influence her one bit.  Instead, Taylor litigated in court for years to prevent the painting’s rightful owners from getting their property back, and she was, sadly, successful.  First, they endured the Nazis, and then, they endured Elizabeth Taylor. Well, today, we saw another example of what “Muslim peace” looks like.  You give them Gaza, you give them a de facto state in the so-called West Bank.  They give you a bus bombing, killing one and severely wounding at least 39 people.  A bomb was planted next to a Jerusalem payphone and deliberately detonated when a bus arrived next to it. Is it HAMAS?  Is it Hezbollah?  Is it Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigage (part of Fatah)?  Doesn’t matter.  What matters is that it’s MUSLIMS.  ISLAM.  Yup, the Religion of Pieces, of flying limbs, of blood, death, and other destruction.  And FOX News gets in on the lies.

Today, FOX News’ headline on the attack–since changed in the article, and also on the homepage–claimed this is the “First Terror Attack in Years,” which they’ve since changed to “Jerusalem’s First Terror Attack in Years.”  But the first headlines showed complete ignorance.  I guess they forgot about the decapitated baby  and stabbed family in Itamar.  Or the rockets and missiles sent into Israel every day for the last week. Or the repeated rockets shot into Sderot, where poor, working-class Jews live and cannot afford to move out.  Or the daily terrorist attacks you don’t read much about, like the attack on the Jewish woman and her Christian missionary friend as they were hiking in the forest.  There are Islamic terrorist attacks on Israel and its civilians every single day.  You just never hear about it.

I thought this guy’s 15 minutes of nutjobism were nearly up.  But I was wrong.  And the reaction he gets from this audience, most of whom aren’t old enough to remember when he was sane, is disheartening.  America’s heroes are the Kardashians and this guy.  So sad. A standing ovation for him? Really? I bet he makes hundreds of thousands from this merchandise. That’s America . . . and America’s future. Who needs Bin Laden?

As you’ll recall on Friday, I posted an exclusive report about the bomb found in the McNamara Federal Building in Detroit. I exclusively reported and BROKE the story here on Friday that the bomb was brought into the federal building by the private security firm guards on February 26th and sat there for 20 days until somebody finally decided to screen it, this past Friday.  None of the other Detroit media outlets had a clue and didn’t report any of this. . .  until last night when pro-Muslim, liberal, self-hating Jewish reporter Simon Shaykhet stole every single specific detail from my site and claimed he “broke the story.”

FOX 2 News & Simon Shaykhet Plagiarizing (& Islamo-Pandering) For You

On his twitter account, Shaykhet tweeted that he was “working” on a “huge story,” when the “work” was actually mine and he simply read it from this site.  In his story he cited no sources, didn’t give me credit, and simply ripped off every single specific detail I reported.  We know that Shaykhet reads my site, and in fact, he also did an Islamo-pandering report against me and my site when his friends at the HAMAS unindicted co-conspirator CAIR Action Network sued me.  Shaykhet follows few people on twitter and only one religious “leader,” imam Dawud Walid a/k/a Delano Anthony Willis, Jr., the convicted criminal who serves as HAMAS’ CAIR Action Network’s Michigan chief.  When he did the biased report against me, Shaykhet included far more airtime for Walid/Willis Jr. and far less for me.  His questions were already loaded against me, as they have been when he has interviewed local rabbis and Jewish leaders during Israeli wars in response to Muslim attacks.  He bends over backward to kiss the butts of the most extremist of Muslims. And it’s no coincidence that a Muslim extremist from a group the US government confirmed raised money for HAMAS is the only religious person or group Shaykhet is following.

Now Simon Shaykhet has blatantly stolen from me.  He knows it and I know it.  And now FOX 2 News, which is owned and operated by FOX News Channel and its parent company News Corp, knows it.  It’s not the first time the newscast has outright ripped off from me without credit.  A couple of years ago or so, when terrorist supporting Muslim Muthanna Al-Hanooti was indicted for working for Saddam Hussein through a charity, FOX 2 News admitted they stole an exclusive photo I had of Hanooti.  The newscast never gave a credit to me or my site and instead had its BS artist general manager, Jeff Murri, call me and give he a half-assed, worthless apology and a promise it would never happen again.  Well, last night it happened again. FOX 2 News stole from me yet again.

I wasn’t going to write about Moshe Katsav, the former Israeli President who was sentenced to seven years in prison for rape.  To me, it’s not news.  In fact, it’s only news because he is Jewish and he led the Jewish State.  But so many anti-Semites and interested readers have asked for my take, and I think it’s important to note a few things, in addition to the fact that President is a figurehead position in Israel, without much power.

Muslim Mid-East leaders and average Muslim Joes (or Youssefs, er . . . Mohammeds) on the Arab Street rape women on a regular basis.  And they are neither tried nor convicted nor sent to prison by their own governments. . . unlike Katsav and any other person who commits rape in Israel. But we NEVER read about it in the NYTimes and on the (self-hating Jew) Drudge Report because they couldn’t care less when a Muslim man rapes a woman. Happens every minute of the day, but it’s accepted, covered up, and the victim is the “criminal” in Islam. We know how women are treated in every Mid-East country other than Israel: they are property, chattel, baby factories, rape toys with no rights.

There’s a reason in Israel women don’t have to walk around with sheets over their heads and only their eye slits showing. On average, Jewish men can control themselves. They are civilized and humane. They aren’t violent animals who rape women at will, after hearing them called “uncovered meat” in sermons. They don’t enter a family’s home at night while they are sleeping on a religious holiday and stab them to death, beheading a few-months-old baby. And the minuscule few that do are tried, convicted, and sent to jail for the crime. In Muslim nations, they are heroes for raping and the raped woman is stoned to death by her father, brother, and uncle. But, hey, the perpetrating animals are not Jewish and not from Israel, so Drudge and the New York Times couldn’t care less.
