As I predicted, Barack Hussein Obama is continuing to practice the 3 “B”s to Islam (Bowing Down, Bending Over, and Butt-Kissing) in conjunction with his Mid-East Muslim pandering trip.
And in that vein, he told Laura Haim of French Television station, Canal Plus, that the United States could be considered “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” (See here also.) Yup, first he said we are not a Christian country in his first pandering trip and speech to the Muslim world in Turkey. Now, he says, we are a Muslim nation.

That’s bunk, though methinks that was what he wants us to be.
But here are the facts. Muslims are less than one percent of the U.S. population, despite the “6-9 million Muslims” and “5-8 million Muslims” claims that CAIR gets the liberal mainstream media and clueless idiot so-called conservative bloggers who don’t do their homework, like Don Surber, to regurgitate.
Most extrapolations of the U.S. Census (taking into account that most who identify as Arabs in the U.S. are Christian) find that there are less than 2 million Muslims in the U.S. In fact, as I noted last year, the only reliable study, the 2008 Pew Center survey, says that Muslims in America number only 1.8 million in the U.S., or just about .6%.
If Barack Obama is going to claim that a nation with an overwhelming majority of Christians–78.4% according to the Pew Center–is NOT a Christian nation, but is a Muslim nation–with only 0.6% of the population being Muslim–the guy is even more insane or a bigger liar than we originally knew.
But don’t expect so-called “conservative” bloggers to get it right. As I noted, clueless Don Surber of a West Virginia newspaper, the Daily Mail (no, not the respected far-left Brit paper, which would never have him), doesn’t bother to use a single fact on Muslim population in the U.S. Instead he pulls numbers out of his ass, providing no source for them, when we know the source is the propaganda put forth by CAIR.

With an estimated 5 million to 8 million Muslims, obviously he does not mean by percentage; Muslims are less than 3% of the U.S. population.

Estimated from what, Don? Oh, yes, your butt. PUH-LEEZE, there aren’t anywhere near 5-8 million Muslims in America and barely a half-percent of our population, not the ridiculous “less than 3%” claim he pulls out of thin air.

So, now, Barack Hussein Obama is now “owning” his Muslim heritage and background (see here also), something he tried to “p3wn” us on for the last three years. It’s no surprise. And back in 2006–to the jeers of so many who now decry what Obama is doing with this–I predicted it and pointed it out.
Yes, back in 2006, I was the first blogger to write about Barack Obama’s Muslim background–and how according to Islamic law, he is a Muslim and that’s how the Muslim world sees him.
All of it was and remains factual.

Yet, because we’re not allowed to mention the “M” or “I” words, I was savaged all over the internet and mainstream media for it. I was attack by the left–including the Nazi-funded Media Matters–and the right, by self-appointed moral judges of political correctness who believe and want to make the rest of us know that they’re better than that Debbie Schlussel who dared point out the completely irrelevant fact that Barack Hussein Obama’s father was Muslim and that Obama himself was raised as a Muslim and identified as such when he lived in Indonesia.
One of my critics on the right was Hot Air’s AllahPundit (too cowardly to go by his real name and too cowardly to apologize), who didn’t bother to read what I actually wrote and lied, claiming I called Obama a “Muslim Manchurian candidate.” I never actually wrote such a thing, but the left told him that, so he believed them.
But don’t worry, I’m not expecting any apologies. Those on the left would never admit the facts that we saw in the news yesterday and today–that by Obama’s own admission, he is proud of his Islamic family and now thinks America is a Muslim nation (more on that later). Those on the right are even more classless in their inability to apologize. Hey, they’d rather savage me in their continuing professional jealousies that they never dare quell. Dignity, decency, and class never comes anywhere near far too many of them.
So, I’m not holding my breath about the blogosphere and mainstream media that savaged me over Obama’s Islamic ethos, since I first wrote about it in 2006.
I was right then, and I’m right now. And–now that it’s too late and we will likely have 8 years of Obama, especially if Sarah Palin is the nominee–they are finally waking up and saying, Hey, whaddya know, Obama is owning his Islamic roots.
Shocker. You heard it here first back in 2006. Yes, lots of apologies should be coming my way, but just as I was right in my predictions and work in 2006, I’m right about this: the cowards won’t dare utter these two words, “I’m sorry.”

So much for the First Amendment and its freedom of speech. It apparently doesn’t apply to kindergarteners who are Christians and Jews.
If only Donna Kay Busch’s son used the Koran as his show-and-tell item, then I guarantee he’d be on solid ground.

A U.S. court says a kindergartner’s mother cannot read Scripture during show and tell, even if the Bible is the boy’s favorite book.
Monday’s ruling is a victory for the Marple Newtown School District in suburban Philadelphia.
The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals says the school’s decision does not violate First Amendment rights given the nonpublic nature of the classroom and the tender age of the children.

Um, if it’s funded by taxpayers, it’s public. Sad, a group of men and women in black robes doesn’t get that. “Tender age”? If it were the Koran, they’d throw this “tender age” BS–which has no basis in the Constitution–out the window and talk about respect for “diverse beliefs” or some other equally phony boilerplate.

The mother, Donna Kay Busch, argues the students heard stories related to Passover, Christmas and other religious holidays.
The appeals court says there is a “significant difference” between identifying those holidays and reading from Scripture.

Nope. The real significant difference is that he read from a Judeo-Christian religious source. If he’d read from the Koran, then the “separate and far more equal” standard of throwing away all obstacles to the “Religion of Peace” would apply.

Tonight, ABC brings you yet another one of its shrieking “the earth is being destroyed and you will die” BS “news” specials. “Earth 2100” is two hours of predictable global warming hype brought to you by the liberal elite eco-hypocrites at ABC News.
Here’s the description of the show, from ABC’s site:

Is This the Final Century of Our Civilization?
Experts say over the next hundred years the “perfect storm” of population growth, resource depletion and climate change could converge with catastrophic results.

Which experts? Wait, don’t tell me. That was a rhetorical question because we know that the usual far-left suspects will be trotted out by host and ABC News “reporter” Bob Woodward. The same ones who don’t want us to get plastic bags upon checkout at a supermarket and who want us to split 2-ply toilet paper.

Earth and the human race will be around long after the year 2100, if we aren’t destroyed by the global warming and green baloney that is infesting civilization, including this 2-hour TV garbage. ABC’s painful-to-watch “The Bachelorette” is far more scientific and less phony than this. And that’s saying a lot.
The ABC webpage for this show is filled with dire warnings about how the frogs, polar bears, and orchids are all gonna die. It reminds me of Bill Murray telling someone in “Stripes,” “You can’t leave. All the plants are gonna die.”
And it’s about as humorous here. Read more about this silly show labeled as “news,” but which should be called what it is: propaganda.

Imagine a world in which cities are abandoned and our population has dropped by 90 percent. A world in which we have wreaked havoc on our delicate ecosystems and nature has begun to reclaim Earth. Once-bustling cities have fallen silent except for the rustle of the wind through the grass and trees that have cracked through the collapsing pavement. Humans have not walked these urban streets for years.
Does it seem like the stuff of science fiction? According to the world’s top scientists, it could very well be the legacy we leave our children and grandchildren. They say we are at a turning point, that the choices we make today will determine if the human race, as we know it, will survive.

I’ve seen a gazillion movies which make the same doomsday predictions. Plus, I heard the nutty Ted Turner make the same claim.
Every dead scamming tarot card reader is turning over in her grave, since each of them could have been an ABC News reporter like Bob Woodruff. And been just as right.
Like I said, we’ll be around . . . if we ignore this utter fertilizer that is nothing more than a useless, harmful fad.
The blatant, empty scare tactics are getting old.

I called a spade a spade. I correctly pointed out that Sonia Sotomayor a/k/a So-So a/k/a Sonia From the Block a/k/a Justice J-Lo a/k/a Red Sonia has done nothing remarkable, that she got every single place she got for one reason: that she’s a female Latina and got affirmative action for it. That she has the same background and life story as J-Lo a/k/a Jennifer Lopez.
But you can’t tell the truth in America. Or, at least, you can’t tell it without being attacked and savaged by the left in America. So, predictably, the Nazi-funded Media Matters folks, the reconquista illegal alien schlubs at the National Council of La Raza and their friends at the Washington Post, and the WNBA season ticket holding brush-cutted “women” at various feminist groups are all upset about my truth-telling on Justice J-Lo. They say it’s prejudiced. Uh-huh.

Well, find me another person who isn’t a Puerto Rican female from the South Bronx, whose sole claim to fame is that she’s a Puerto Rican female from the South Bronx. It’s ridiculous. Her actual “experience” and appointments are a giant house of cards based solely on those identity politics.
Sorry, La Raza, but you can’t have it both ways. You can’t have someone appointed merely because she’s a Latina with a vulva and expect us not to point it out. The woman is an empressina with no clothing. Oops–quick, somebody get that vision out of my mind.
No prob that Sotomayer, herself is a racist, bigot, and sexist against White males. I’m racist for pointing this out and for pointing out that she was picked based on ethnicity and gender–which is, in fact–sorry La Raza and the Washington Post–bigotry and sexism.
Oh, and one of my favorite critics is some idiot who, in claiming I’m a bigot, points out that I’m a Jew (hmmm . . . not hiding your anti-Semitism, are you?) and makes up something I never said:

Look, if a Jew was picked for the U.S. Supreme Court for the sole reason that he/she was a Jew from the Brooklyn shtetl who eats bagels. I was extremely critical of President Clinton when he picked Ruth Bader Ginsburg, not because she was a Jew, but because he liked the comfort level in their conversation. That’s not why you pick a Justice . . . nor is the reason that a person has the same background as Jennifer Lopez.

You didn’t need a USA Today/Gallup poll to tell you that the vast majority of Americans oppose closing the U.S. Navy detention center at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba You didn’t need a poll to tell you that we don’t want Islamic terrorists on our soil.
All you needed was to look at the vote, a few weeks ago, in which all but six far-left Democrat U.S. Senators voted to withhold funding from Barack Hussein Obama in his efforts to close Gitmo.
My question is, where the heck were these 65% of Americans in the election in November of last year? Well, I guess they really weren’t given much of a choice, since John McCain–just like Obama–campaigned on the idea of closing Gitmo.

Still, it’s staggering to note that more Americans oppose closing Gitmo than voted for Obama–more than two to one. It just goes to show how fickle and skittish Americans are . . . or how stupid, since they clearly are afraid of Islamic terrorists on U.S. soil, yet they voted the most Islamo-friendly jerk possible into the White House.

Americans are overwhelmingly opposed to closing the detention center for suspected terrorists at Guantanamo Bay and moving some of the detainees to prisons on U.S. soil, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds.
By more than 2-1, those surveyed say Guantanamo shouldn’t be closed. By more than 3-1, they oppose moving some of the accused terrorists housed there to prisons in their own states.

And of course, USA Today took this poll as yet another opportunity to bash America and accuse us of “fear.” We should be fearful. And, sadly, we aren’t . . . not nearly enough.

In many parts of the world, however, Gitmo has become a symbol of U.S. arrogance and abuse, and Obama has cited its closure as a way to lay the foundation for better relations. He is scheduled to deliver a major address aimed at the Muslim world on Thursday from Cairo. . . .
“Coming up on eight years after Sept. 11, fear remains, and fear is politically potent,” says political scientist Paul Freedman of the University of Virginia, who studies public opinion. “When it comes to the issue of terrorism ‚Ķ people are inclined to err on the side of that fear.”
Former vice president Dick Cheney said Monday that Obama made “a mistake” in promising to close the facility by the end of the year.
“I think it’s going to be very difficult,” he said at a National Press Club luncheon, given the reluctance of U.S. allies and citizens to accept its prisoners. “These are bad actors. These are the worst of the worst.” . . .
In the survey, Americans were inclined to accept the argument by Cheney and former president George W. Bush that the detention center had made the United States safer.

Last, but not least, here’s the money quote:

By 40%-18%, they said the prison had strengthened national security rather than weakened it.
Those who want the prison to remain open feel more strongly on the subject that those who want to close it. A 54% majority of those polled say the prison shouldn’t be closed, and that they’ll be upset if the administration moves forward to close it.

Sadly, not upset enough in November 2008.

Here’s a little sampling of some headlines and stories I read in the hard copies of my morning papers. They make the mainstream media’s selective outrage quite clear.
First, there’s the murder of Pvt. William Long, 24, and wounding of Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, 18, at an Arkansas military recruitment center. They were attacked by Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad a/k/a Carlos Bledsoe, a Muslim convert who studied jihad in Yemen. He shot them because he opposed the U.S. military (based, of course, on his Islamic faith and studies).

But today’s Wall Street Journal doesn’t want you to know that. Here’s the headline and story that appeared in the paper. Hmmm . . . what’s missing? Well, it’s like telling the 9/11 story using 19 hijackers named Joe, Sam, and Bob and pretending they didn’t come here from the Muslim Middle East with specific motives and hatred against us infidels.

But then, there’s this headline, below, from today’s USA Today, the hard copy of which didn’t even mention the targeted killing and wounding committed yesterday by Muhammad in Arkansas. As an American, which story would you rather read about–“JOOOO Settlers” upset their homes and land were seized in Israel and given to HAMAS and Fatah supporters . . . or Muslims killing Americans on American soil at random? Note the headline doesn’t mention “Israelis,” only Jews. Gee, I wonder why. I wonder why we must shield the religion and obviously Muslim name of a murderer of a young soldier and wounding of another on our own soil, but yet, we must be exposed to this headline.

And FYI, here’s why the JOOOOOO settlers were so upset: the “go to hell on settlements, Obama” message the media is claiming Netanyahu is sending Obama isn’t exactly what he’s saying.
In fact, while Netanyahu is telling Obama he’ll continue to build in some areas of suburban Jerusalem, he is actually redlining Jews out of their homes in outlying settlements and, this past week, dismantled their homes. Can you imagine a President of the U.S. telling another world leader, okay, we’ll continue to let Black people build houses in suburban Detroit, but out in the country, we’ll forcibly tear down their homes and give their land to relatives of the 9/11 hijackers?
That’s what’s been happening this week in Israel. That’s why these “Jewish Settlers”–as they are derogatorily called by USA Today–are in a “rampage.” How many Palestinians did they kill? None. How many did the Muslim they’ve whitewashed kill at the Arkansas military facility? At least one, seriously wounding another.
But-shhhhhhh!–you’re not supposed to know he’s a Muslim. But you can know when people upset that their homes were seized are “JOOOS” on a “rampage.”

At the Monday-afternoon briefing, [Little Rock Police Chief Stuart] Thomas said investigators believe Muhammad acted alone, and likely carried “political and religious motives.” Thomas said the gunman targeted the military but was not believed to be part of a broader scheme.

Hmmm . . . which religion’s “religious motives”?
Um, if you’re acting on behalf of Islam, you ain’t acting alone. And it makes no difference whether or not he’s “connected” to a terrorist group or officially “part of a broader scheme.” No mater what, he is part of a broader scheme. It’s called Islam. Hello . . . .
One other point, as reader Craig asks, um, when will we stat hearing about how left wing hate radio and TV (i.e., Olbermann) spurred on this anti-military and anti-American violence?

Interesting–is it not, Debbie?–that NO ONE is discussing the “link” between the left wing hate radio talkers and this guy who shot two troops in AK only the need to “do something” about the Tiller [DS: the abortion doctor] murder’s links to the right wing, huh?

Well, they won’t mention his “links” to Islam, either. So, don’t hold your breath for any mention of this, either.

So, today General Motors filed for bankruptcy after a few gazillions in government bailouts. GM is officially now the Obama administration’s bitch and should just change its name to Yugo.
But while GM is down and out, ya know what’s in? Wasting gazillions in your tax money on “green grants,” that’s what. Git yer hands on some of that green, er . . . green. As in, $3.2 billion of the stuff, and they gotta get rid of it by June 25th, kinda like some Chrysler dealers gotta get rid of some cars.

Imagine billions of federal dollars at your fingertips if you can just come up with a plan to go green.
States and cities across the nation are scrambling to meet a series of deadlines to tap into economic stimulus money available for energy-saving programs.

A looming deadline: June 25, when local governments apply for a share of the $3.2 billion in block grants for energy efficiency and conservation.
“It’s coming up quickly,” says Cathy Polasky, Minneapolis director of economic development.
* At least $500 million for green jobs training.
* $9.75 billion to renovate schools.
* $5 billion to weatherize low-income homes.
* $300 million to replace old appliances with “Energy Star” products.
“All of a sudden, dollars are coming from different areas all at once,” says Sadhu Johnston, chief environmental officer for the city of Chicago, which launched a climate action plan last fall. “For the first time, there’s a significant package of federal resources to help us meet our goals on everything from affordable housing to infrastructure.”
Today, 150 people from 20 cities are expected at Green Boot Camp at Harvard University. The two-day training session is organized and sponsored by Living Cities, a group of 21 of the world’s largest foundations that aim to improve cities and the lives of low-income people.
The boot camp “is to ensure they’ve developed the right strategies and financing … and to manage stimulus money,” says Ben Hecht, CEO and president of Living Cities.
The session is bringing together parties that rarely interact — from state and city officials to housing authorities, economic and workforce development agencies and utility companies.
Already, the stimulus funds have forged unprecedented partnerships, Polasky says.
She had never met half the people who came from her area to attend the boot camp. Since the race for stimulus money began in February, she says, “I go home every night and tell myself, ‘Well, I met another 100 new people.’ ”
On tap at the boot camp are discussions on financing strategies and marketing, building codes and energy conservation incentives.
“Every single city we invited accepted,” says Stockton Williams, director of Living Cities’ Green Economy Initiatives, which is covering expenses. “This economic recovery bill is a one-time infusion of funding. Now, we need to make sure cities set up systems that will be sustained.”

Barf! Green Boot Camp at Harvard? Money they’re just giving away and training cities how to waste? Sickening.
How ’bout giving a tax cut to the people or letting businesses and private enterprise show some “green” love? That would be too obvious, too logical. Too too . . . .
This is just throwing away money for a fad: “green.”

The story of Buffalo Soldier and Medal of Honor recipient, Cpl. Isaiah Mays, sounds like the stuff of movies. It’s the story of a wrong righted, even if it’s almost a century later. And it illuminates the efforts of a group I’ve promoted on this site previously, the Missing in America Project.
Mays, a freed slave, endured significant injury in the line of duty and struggled to get help while wounded. Still, his treatment in later years did not reflect that heroism.
On Friday, Mays, who died in 1925 and was buried in a makeshift pauper’s grave after spending his last years in a mental hospital, was finally given a hero’s burial in Arlington National Cemetery.

Mays was born a slave in Virginia in 1858 but spent most of his life west of the Mississippi, joining the famed Buffalo Soldiers as the black cavalry and infantry troops fought in the frontier Indian Wars.
In 1889, he was part of a small detachment assigned to protect a U.S. Army pay wagon, which was caught in an ambush by a band of bandits. A gunfight ensued and almost all the soldiers were wounded or killed. Mays was shot in both legs. The bandits made off with $29,000 in gold coins.
Despite his wounds, Mays managed to walk and crawl two miles to a ranch to seek help. He was awarded a Medal of Honor on February 15, 1890. . . .
Mays left the Army in 1893 and many years later applied for a federal pension. But he was denied.

Many sources that I read say the reason given for this denial was, “ineligible,” because Mays was Black. Because he was poor, hobbled from military injury, and had no place to go, he lived the rest of his years alone in a hospital with mental patients. In those days, the indigent and mentally ill shared a hospital.

He was committed to an Arizona state hospital that cared for the mentally ill, tuberculosis patients and the indigent.
When he died in 1925, Mays was buried in the hospital cemetery in a grave marked only with a number.

Reports say Mays was wrapped only in a sheet from the hospital and dumped into a grave.
In 2001, Mays’ missing remains and burial plot were located by hospital officials. Just weeks ago, his remains were dug up. The Missing In America Project–a volunteer organization which seeks to identify and honor the unclaimed remains of American veterans– rode with Mays remains, transporting them on motorcycle from Arizona to Arlington National Cemetery at the groups’ own expense. Friday, Mays was given the hero’s burial he deserved.
Despite the incredible heroism and sad life of this great Black American, I’ll bet if I took a poll, the chasm between the many Black Americans under 30 (and probably over 30) who are familiar with rappers like Lil’ Wayne and the scant few who ever heard of Isaiah Mays would be vast. I’m sure the gap would be just as wide amongst White Americans of the same age group. As I always say, this is about the problems of a culture–which celebrates, elevates, and emulates garbage, not a race–which has many historic American heroes, like Mays, of whom it can and should be very proud.

If you’ve been paying attention to pop culture over the last decade, you know what a “man cave” is. I’ve written about it, there are shows promoting it, and it’s become part of the interior design vernacular.
A “man cave,” to those who aren’t in the loop, is a room (usually a garage or basement)–generally no girls (or women) allowed–where a guy hangs out by himself (or with guy friends) and keeps all of the guy comforts his wife won’t let him have and/or do: usually stuff like La-Z boy recliners, a fridge full of cool beer, sports memorabilia, pool tables, pinball machines, foosball, a giant screen TV to watch football games all day long on NFL Sundays, and other guy stuff. It’s kind of like the grown-up version of the guys only tree house.

Major League Baseball is glomming onto the “man cave” theme with a promotion in conjunction with the DIY Network’s “Man Caves” show (hosted by a man’s man, former NFLer Tony Siragusa and some dude named Jason Cameron). A guy will get his own Major League Baseball man cave, with the winner chosen from viewer video entries explaining why the entrant is “caveworthy.
The catch: The winner must be a guy (according to USA Today). And the DIY site clearly states:

Boys [DS: emphasis added] can compete on both the network’s website, 12 June to 24 July, by a video to explain why they are their own man cave.

(Elsewhere it says the contest is for men, as opposed to just “boys.”)
After all, the term is man cave, not chick cave. “Man Caves” is one of DIY’s most watched shows and is in its third season. That’s because men like to see the latest in man cavery. I doubt anyone would want to see a woman putting in pink, frilly curtains and a TiVo set to tape Oprah in a man cave, much less a lesbian man cave, complete with brush-cut station, non-shaving kit, and a stack of DVDs of past WNBA seasons and KD Lang concerts. Beside that, there already is the ultimate “woman cave” (no pun or double entendre intended): the home of the OctoMom, Palestinian Nadya Suleman.
But just like the girls who whined about not being granted entry into the tree house by the boys, the feminist are always not far behind with their lawyers in tow.
So, how long until the manly chicks sue Major League Baseball and the DIY network for posting a “Keep Out Sign” on the man cave contest? Don’t worry. We will hear from them. It’s not if, it’s how soon.
I hear the shrill shrieks about “sexism” already. Uh-oh, here come Martha Burk and Gloria Allred. After all, the man cave is basically the working-class to upper middle-class version of Augusta National Golf Club.
