For years I’ve documented on this site and elsewhere how Hollywood whitewashed Muslim terrorists completely out of most movie and TV scripts. The few times Muslims are actually portrayed as terrorists, we’re enlisted to sympathize with them. It’s not their fault. It’s ours. In addition, they’re really working for the White corporate American man (always the case on “24”–read about it and , among my other work on this). And most other Muslims are shown as the sweetest, most tolerant, most peaceful, most victimized group of people you’d ever meet on this planet.

Council on American-HAMASic Relations Tightens Its Grip on Hollywood
So, given this, I had to laugh when I received this e-mail and linked “article” from HAMAS unindicted co-conspirator/unindicted terrorist group CAIR–the Council on American-Islamic Relations–in my inbox yesterday. They already control the agenda, but they whine that they need to control the agenda, especially with the folks at FOX who repeatedly kowtowed to them with “24”. Absurd, but no surprise:

(LOS ANGELES, CA, 10/8/07) – The Greater Los Angeles Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA) and FOX Television recently co-hosted a “Hollywood 101” workshop and studio tour to introduce aspiring Muslim writers, directors and actors to the entertainment industry. The event, held at FOX Studios in Century City, was also designed to help promote a positive change in Hollywood’s portrayal of Muslims and Arabs.
Those taking part in the event included students and entry-level professionals hoping to build contacts in the industry and seeking tips on advancing their careers. Participants were given a tour of the studio lot, a presentation on FOX internships and a one-hour interactive seminar featuring five industry professionals.
One participant, Nadia Afghani, said the unique event introduced her to the possibilities awaiting Muslim artists in the entertainment industry. “The CAIR Hollywood 101 seminar was phenomenal…I walked away that day feeling inspired, motivated, and hopeful for the Muslim (community),” said Afghani.
CAIR-LA Executive Director Hussam Ayloush said efforts to engage media outlets that shape popular culture are crucial to promoting an accurate and balanced portrayal of Muslims in America and around the world.
“Our goal is to help nurture aspiring Muslim artists and to act as facilitators in providing support to emerging Muslim talent in the entertainment industry,” said Ayloush.
Ayloush thanked FOX, in particular its Diversity Department, for co-hosting the event and realizing the importance of engaging young American Muslims who seek to work as entertainment content creators.
CAIR, America’s largest Islamic civil liberties group, has 33 offices and chapters nationwide and in Canada. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.

Hilarious that this is being done through CAIR’s “Diversity Department.” CAIR is not interested in us seeing a “diversity” of Muslims, just one: the whitewashed kind I’ve identified above.
They already control the “cleansed” lens through which America sees everything in the entertainment realm. They just want to make sure that they maintain–and tighten–their (and HAMAS’) grip on Hollywood.
Keep that in mind with any portrayal of Muslims, Christians, Jews, America, and the Mid-East, that you see coming out of Hollywood.
They’re not exactly holding the same kinds of seminars for the Minutemen or the U.S. Military or pro-Israel groups.

On Sunday, America lost a great hero–John Withers. The Black World War II veteran risked a dishonorable discharge and the loss of his academic career in order to hide and save two dying Jewish teens he liberated from the Dachau concentration camp. It was an especially great risk in those days of segregation.
In 2003, the Wall Street Journal ran this incredible front page story by Bryan Gruley about Withers’ heroic efforts risking his future for two strangers and how decades later he was reunited with one of them, now an American citizen.
Today, the Wall Street Journal runs this touching obituary on this great American:

John Withers Risked Everything to Save 2 Dying Strangers

John Withers, a World War II lieutenant who risked a dishonorable discharge to help two young Holocaust survivors, died Sunday.
Mr. Withers, who was 91 years old, was the subject of a page one article in The Wall Street Journal on Nov. 25, 2003. The article described how Mr. Withers, as a leader of an all-black Army supply unit in 1945, broke military rules to hide two Jewish-Polish survivors of the Dachau concentration camp. He spent more than a year mentoring the two, whom his soldiers had nicknamed “Peewee” and “Salomon.”
Mr. Withers, who had grown up in segregated Greensboro, N.C., said he identified with the boys “very strongly and instantaneously” and that they taught him that “it is possible for someone — me, anyone — to overcome the obstacles in his path without losing himself and face prejudice without becoming prejudiced in return.”
He lost touch with them after he returned to the U.S. in 1946. But in 2001, Mr. Withers was reunited with Peewee, by then a successful Connecticut businessman named Martin Weigen. The reunion inspired Mr. Weigen to unburden himself of his own stories of losing his parents and sister during the Holocaust, and time he spent at Auschwitz and other camps. Mr. Weigen died in October 2003 at the age of 75.

When devout Catholic and former pizza magnate Tom Monaghan planned to build private Catholic cities in Florida, he was roundly excoriated by the mainstream press. And the ACLU threatened so loudly, he stepped back from those plans.
No such outrage, though, for the Bin Laden Group’s new plans for private cities (you can bet they’ll be Islamofascist) all over Arabia. The report came out in August, and I only just heard of it through astute reader Lui. Yes, they’re not in the States, but don’t kid yourself if you think that’s not coming here ultimately. They already have Sharia law tribunals in Canada, which are accepted as legally binding. And the ACLU isn’t challenging any Muslim religious encroachments upon America, including the footbaths springing up at a restroom near you.

So this may be next in a rural America town or urbane suburb near you:

Middle East Development, a Dubai-based firm controlled by the Saudi bin Laden Group, is obtaining large parcels of land in Yemen, Djibouti and Syria for development, Reuters reported. CEO Oussama Al-Dimashki said the goal is to build city ‘franchises,’ whole new cities that would be run by private corporations and businesses rather than governments. He said the projects would cost ‘hundreds of billions of dollars.’

Dar Al-Harb will fast become Dar Al-Islam through capitalism without limits. V. I. Lenin was right about us selling the rope on which to hang ourselves . . . while we worry about Tom Monaghan’s benign Catholic community that never was.

Why are they so afraid of me? You know–can’t have anyone exposed to the truth or questioning the Justice Department’s fake, impotent war on terror serving on the jury. No intelligent, critically-thinking jurors wanted by the feds. I rained on their pander bear parade in 2003 when then-U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Collins (then Convertino’s intellectually challenged, very jealous, and extremely pan-Islamist boss) wanted to give Islamic terrorist a national award at the J. Edgar Hoover Building, and after reading my New York Post column on it, the FBI revoked the award. And they can’t get caught with their shawarmeh-waste filled pants down again.
They just want to get Rick Convertino and reward Islamic terrorists, and they won’t have me stand in the way. Red is blue. Up is down. This used to be America.
As I’ve told you repeatedly and in the , Convertino valiantly tried and got convictions against members of Detroit’s Al-Qaeda terror cell, with PC Justice Department lackeys at the highest levels–including now-Homeland “Security” Chief Michael Chertoff and Justice Dept. Counterterrorism official Barry Sabin opposing him every step of the way. They really didn’t want Convertino to succeed in getting convictions against these terrorists tied to a PC, established Arab welfare agency. They just wanted headlines over mere indictments. Make us think they were actually doing something . . . all while they were really kissing the butts of extremist Muslims at the local falafel hut.
Because Convertino actually got convictions and headlines, they went after Convertino and his family (wife and five kids), asked a federal judge to overturn convictions against terrorists who wanted to blow up our and Israel’s planes at a military base in Turkey, and then indicted Convertino for daring to go after terrorists.
Now, they want to eliminate you from the jury because you dare to read this site. And they call that a “Justice” Department?
I’ve watched every single day as my site got more and more visitors from the Department of Justice computers. Maybe they should spend a little less time on my site and more time going after terrorists, instead of punishing the select few loyal public servants who actually do that job.
That there is even a trial here is absurd. That readers of this site aren’t allowed to render a verdict in it, is even more so.
But, hey, if you read The Detroit Newsistan, in which “reporter”/fabricator fabricated his reports about the terror trial (and got in big trouble over it when I exposed him) and where Shepardson is best buddies with the pan-Islamist PC crowd at the U.S. Attorney’s office, well, then, you may now be sworn in.
Oh, and by the way, if you watch Al-Jazeera or Al-Manar, that won’t get you kicked off the jury either. Justice Department folks don’t care if those media outlets are in your repertoire. It’s just this site’s readers they want to weed out.

Tune in to what’s going on at the People’s Food Co-Op in Ann Arbor a/k/a the “Ann Arbor Co-Op.” What’s going on there today, could happen in your neck of the woods, tomorrow. In fact, the way things are going with the rise of anti-Semitism and anti-Israel hate, I’d bet this trend catches on elsewhere very soon.
At the granola-ish base of the University of Michigan campus–you know the granola types?: fruits, nuts, and flakes–the Ann Arbor Co-Op is the cheap, more dated version of today’s Whole Foods. Sadly, this anachronistic bastion of leftism lives on.

Even sadder, in a wave of anti-Semitism, the Co-Op is voting whether to ban all products made in Israel. Its members voted on the proposal, and in the meeting, anti-Semitic statements were made in support of the proposal, with non-members who supported the ban holding up swastikas. Even if the measure fails, that they even voted on it says it all. Will they vote on separate lunchcounters, next?
Yup, the new Nazis have shown their faces and openly admitted their card-carrying membership in the Fourth Reich. When even the Detroit Free Press’ resident Islamist reporter calls it anti-Semitic, you know that it is.
Hmmm . . . maybe I should wear around Ann Arbor. Seems it’s come back into fashion:

Last month, about 1,100 members of the co-op voted on a proposal that, if approved, would ban the store from selling goods from Israel. The results are to be released Thursday after a year of debate across metro Detroit. The co-op has many members in the tri-country area who have closely followed the controversy.
Opponents of the proposal say . . . that Israel often suffers from attacks against its civilians, and that the store sells products from countries such as China that aren’t democratic and have poor human rights records.
“It’s wrong to single out Israel without making an effort to address Palestinian violence,” said Dan Cutler, a co-op member from Ann Arbor who opposes the boycott. “This is a divisive tactic that doesn’t help build a future for both people to secure prosperity and safety.” . . .
The controversy started when a shopper got upset after seeing that the store was selling Israeli couscous. A petition drive was launched, and a group called Boycott Israeli Goods garnered enough signatures to get a ballot proposal on which the co-op’s roughly 6,000 members could vote.
Two previous co-op boycotts involved tuna that harmed dolphins and grapes, in support of farm workers. Both boycotts ended years ago.
Last month, members cast ballots on the Israeli-products boycott. At times, the arguments involved anti-Semitic sentiments. Some boycott supporters held up Nazi swastikas outside the store, concerning many shoppers.
Karen Deslierres of Detroit, a co-op member who supports the boycott, said she is concerned about what she calls the “degradation of the Palestinians.”
Regardless of the vote results, the process has been a healthy exercise, said Linda Diane Feldt, co-op president.
“This is democracy in action,” she said.

Yeah, like the “democracy in action” that elected HAMAS . . . and Ahmadinejad . . . and Hezbollah . . . and the Muslim Brotherhood.
Yet another “development” in our society that I’m glad my father, Blessed Be His Memory, didn’t live to see. Simply nauseating.
Fruits, nuts, flakes, with a little hate thrown in, just to make it truly organic.
The thing is, they will take products made by Muslims and other Arabs from Israel, just not those made by THE JOOOOOS. We know what this is about. It’s anti-Semitism, plain and simple. No different than the men in those sharp, clean brown shirts.
By the way, as my friend Yigal says, if they really want to boycott Israel, they should put down all of their gadgets, all of their technology. Because whatever they have, if the Israelis didn’t invent it, they made it better

Good Ole Kurt Returns From Hell . . .
For New Gig as People’s Food Co-Op Spokesmodel

A lot of mediocrity at the movies this weekend:
* “The Heartbreak Kid“: The poster for this movie says, “Love Hurts.” But seeing this horrible remake of the 1972 Charles Grodin/Cybill Shepherd original hurts far worse. The Neil Simon original was an amusing, light-hearted look at a man who quickly marries a woman he thinks is perfect for him. Right after he ties the knot, he realizes that his new brunette wife is unbearably annoying, the blonde woman of his dreams is the one he should have married instead.

In this incarnation, the man (Ben Stiller) quickly marries the blonde babe, who turns out to be completely annoying and unbearable, when on his honeymoon he meets a brunette Southerner (he calls her a “redneck”) with whom he’d rather be.
But while the original was entertaining and fun, the Ben Stiller/Farrelly Brothers version is truly tasteless, perverted, and disgusting. It starts out being hilarious. The first 20-30 minutes are very good. It’s everything after that which goes downhill . . . fast. It’s lowbrow, extremely vulgar, and not funny after that, just gross and stupid. The movie could have ended like five times before it eventually does. Even though it’s only an hour and 45 minutes, it seems to go on forever. The only fun actor in this movie is Rob Corddry as Stiller’s buddy. He steals the show, the few times he’s onscreen. Ben Stiller’s protagonist is someone we grow to hate, which wasn’t the aim of the script.
If there is anything positive about this one, it’s that the original “Heartbreak Kid” features an overtly Jewish man who marries a stereotypically annoying Jewish woman, then wants the stereotypical tall, blonde gentile woman, who is infinitely more desirable. That’s the bigoted message of the 1970s version. This new incarnation “de-Jew-izes” the whole Jewish self-hatred thing going on in the original, with the characters of unknown religion played by Ben Stiller and his father Jerry Stiller of “Seinfeld” fame (playing his Dad onscreen). In this one, his annoying new wife seems to be a gentile woman, though she is also of ambiguous religious background. And she is as annoying as the Jewish wife was in the original version, maybe more so. That, however, doesn’t redeem this absolute time-waster of a “comedy.”
Rent the original, instead. This remake is just bad.
* “The Seeker: The Dark is Rising“: A young American teen boy living with his family in rural England soon discovers that he is an immortal warrior fighting on behalf of the Light vs. the Darkness. He must grow up fast and find six signs in a few days. If he does not, the forces of the evil dark will take over, and the world as we know it will be destroyed.
This movie started out as a charming science fiction fairy tale for kids, but degraded along the way. A scene with more snakes than the famous “Raiders of The Lost Ark” scene is spine-tingly frightening and could be scary for kids. Other scenes might frighten kids (though maybe no more than a Harry Potter flick), too. Still others are unbelievable and not consistent with the story. What begins with great promise and lots of charm degrades into a banal, mildly scary (for kids), and carried away mess of a plot.
Still, okay for kids. Just not great.

* “The Jane Austen Book Club“: This chick flick is so bad, it would be rejected by the Lifetime Network. Five self-absorbed, extremely annoying, whiny women and an effeminate, annoying, whiny, weird man form a book club for which they read and discuss each of Jane Austen’s six novels. In the end, their dysfunctional problems and relationships with cretinous louts a/k/a men (is there any other kind of man in these movies?) are solved. The end. Like I said, all men–but for the effeminate, weird one in the book club–are macho, insensitive creeps. Avoid this at all cost. Almost two hours of your life wasted and never to be redeemed. Plus $10.
Absolutely awful.

So you’re an Islamic terrorist who got away with it. You came here on a student visa, then violated its terms by not going to college . . . and, instead, raising money and recruiting for your Islamic terrorist group, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, which murdered Israeli Tourism Minister Rechavam Ze’evi, and perpetrated lots of homicide bombings in Israel. To stay here and get a green card, you engaged in marriage fraud. And you never disclosed your membership in a terrorist organization, another form of immigration fraud.
Then, thanks to liberals and wimps in the immigration system, you are now a U.S. citizen helping your Islamic terrorist friends with their propaganda campaign from within, and going on annual trips to Syria and Lebanon with your friends from a charity that’s funding HAMAS and Al-Qaeda, and where you are all suspected o laundering money to Islamic terrorists. To top it off, when over 100 of your fellow Muslims from Lebanon and Yemen were caught bribing an INS employee, you successfully filed suit to stop their deportations.
And yet, after all this immigration fraud you engaged in and immigration bribery you defended, you have the chutzpah to attack the American immigration system because an INS/ICE man whom your Islamic friends and patrons bribed has finally been indicted, after your prosecutor friend allowed your Islamic friends to flee the country, so only the the INS/ICE guy takes the fall.
That’s the case with Imad Hamad, who had the chutzpah to tell The Detroit Newsistan’s Dhimmi “Reporter” Gregg Krupa this about the Roy Bailey/Talal Chahine/Many Muslims Immigration Fraud/Bribery case, I told you about earlier this week:

Immigrants of Arab descent and Muslims face particular concerns and assert that there have been abuses based on profiling them as terrorist threats.
[DS: They have particular concerns? You mean, like completing their terrorist jihad before the deportation happens.]
“People want to go by the rules, and when they see a case of this nature, they begin to wonder,” said Imad Hamad, executive director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. “It can send the wrong message that there are other ways to work the system.
“You either go by the rules or you don’t go by the rules,” Hamad said. “But then you pay the price.”

That’s chutzpah. No, double chutzpah. This man, Hamad, did NOT “go by the rules.” And he didn’t “pay the price.” Instead, he was rewarded. Hamad’s motto of life must be: Infidels, do as I say, NOT as I do.
As I’ve repeatedly documented on this site, Hamad engaged in all of the immigration fraud and other actions I detailed above, including student visa fraud, marriage fraud, lying about his membership in an Islamic terrorist group on his various immigration applications, etc. He is now a U.S. citizen because he was rewarded for his fraud. And Julie Myers, head of Immigration in the U.S., is soon going to be breaking pita with him and kissing his butt.. Yet, he told The Detroit Newsistan how upset he is that people cheated the immigration system with bribes. Hello . . .?
That Hamad would attack people bribing INS/ICE official Roy Bailey is double Chutzpah because the main person doing the bribing was his Islamic buddy, Hezbollah financier Talal Chahine, whom he repeatedly defended when ICE and FBI agents raided Chahine’s business and homes a couple of years ago. I’m told Hamad even called the FBI and ICE to complain. I documented his whining about the raids on Chahine when it happened. And I believe that he whined the loudest because he was probably getting something from Chahine and probably knew about his scams.
ICE agents in the Detroit area have told me how tight ICE Special Agent in Charge Brian Moskowitz a/k/a “Abu Moskowitz” is with Hamad and how Hamad has introduced him to similarly wealthy, pro-Hezbollah South Lebanese Shi’ite businessmen with the same interests as Chahine. One man in particular has many Muslim illegal alien employees working here for his business and has been seen hanging with Moskowitz over the past few years.
Since Moskowitz purchased a home beyond his means in one of Detroit’s swankiest of gazillionaire neighborhoods, belongs to the local gazillionaire golf club, and is constantly complaining that he is short on money, don’t be surprised if Hamad and Moskowitz have cooked up a similar scheme to that of Roy Bailey and Talal Chahine. Agents are wondering why they’ve been told that certain Islamic immigration schemes they want to investigate are off limits. Their eyebrows have been raised that they’ve been allowed to arrest very few Muslims, especially in illegal-alien rife Dearbornistan and Dearbornistan Heights.
Of course, if he is involved in such scams (and I strongly believe he is–he tried to make Hamad’s nephew an ICE agent and calls Hamad to apologize on the few scant occasions that his agents arrest Muslims), Moskowitz is slightly smarter than Roy Bailey and won’t get caught. Add to that the fact that his bosses, ICE Director of Investigations Marcy Forman-Friedman a/k/a “Peppermint Patty” and ICE chieftess Julie L. Myers a/k/a “The ICE Princess” are happy that Moskowitz is kowtowing to extremist Muslims.
Quelling that community’s whines–not enforcing immigration and customs laws–is their number one priority.
To those with the most chutzpah–like immigration fraud artist, “former” Islamic terrorist, and complete hypocrite Imad Hamad–come the most rewards. That should be ICE’s motto.

Oh, the absurdity of “carbon footprints.” Now, there’s an even more absurd concept: “carbon pawprints.”
Pet-owner environmentalists feel “eco-guilty” because, after all, their bizarre, extreme eco-habits don’t go far enough. They now have to hate themselves because their dogs and cats may be contributing to global warming.
Not to fear. Newsweek reports that there are now all-natural, organic dog-food, biodegradable boxes for doggie poop (to replace those sinful plastic bags which clog landfills), and leashes made of hemp.

A whole industry has sprouted around the undue guilt of these extremist absurdos. The enviro-guilty nutjobs are causing the natural pet products industry gang to laugh all the way to the bank. My favorite is the 100 percent organic cotton kimono for your doggie:

Derrick Mains, 34, of Mesa, Ariz., considers himself a green kind of guy. He recycles, doesn’t litter and eats organic. But Mains, an environmental consultant, still feels eco-guilty. That’s why he buys his two rescue dogs, Copa and Lola, all-natural, organic food. And instead of plastic bags that wind up in landfills, he’s using a biodegradable box to scoop up their waste. Next on the agenda? Leashes made from earth-friendly hemp. “My dogs and I are trying to save the planet,” Mains says.
Since neither Copa nor Lola can vote for the Green Party, it’s up to humans like Mains to make “the right choices that can help pets be more in tune with the environment,” says Anthony Zolezzi, coauthor of “How Dog Food Saved the Earth.” And more consumers are making those choices. According to market-research firm Packaged Facts, U.S. retail sales of natural pet products are expected to reach $1.3 billion this year, up from $558 million in 2003. By 2012, the market should top $2.5 billion. There is no shortage of marketers willing to help consumers part with some of their green pet bucks. . . .
With all that newfound social consciousness, your pet deserves a spa treatment. Look no farther than Cain & Able, a line of all-natural dog shampoos and sprays that, in truly Orwellian fashion, were first tested on humans.

Ridiculous. But, yet another manifestation of my view that the PETA folks (on this site, we call them PUTAh–People for the Unethical Treatment of Animals and humans) have one. .

In Austria, animal-rights activist Dr. Martin Balluch is trying to get a chimp legally declared a person, in order to keep the animal from becoming homeless after its shelter goes bankrupt. He even gave the animal a human name, “Matthew Hiasl Pan.”
After all, the dog can become an important force in the cause against global warming.

Yup, these Jewish holidays are killing me. Or at least my blogging. That, coupled with mourning for my Dad for a week. All good reasons and more important priorities.
Beginning tonight at sundown and continuing until Friday Night, the last of the Jewish holidays happens. (I swear I’m not making these holidays up.) So, I’m out of blogging commission once again until Monday. I have a few things I’ve written in advance to be posted while I’m gone, including my regularly posted movie reviews on Friday. Stay tuned.
