For the last three years, I’ve been writing about the U.S. Department of “Justice”‘s war on Richard Convertino, both and in the . It’s a textbook case in why we are losing the domestic war on terror.
We’re persecuting our best and most courageous citizens who are fighting the war on terror, instead of persecuting the terrorists and their supporters. Rick Convertino learned that the hard way.

Former Federal Prosecutor Rick Convertino Persecuted for Fighting Terrorists
Prosecuting the first federal jury trial against terrorists after 9/11, then-Assistant U.S. Attorney Convertino spent days and nights in his office preparing to try members of the Detroit Al-Qaeda cell. They planned to blow up a military base in Turkey, Incirlik, from which U.S. and Israeli military planes took off. The terrorists–living in a house on Norman Street in Detroit–had diagrams of the planes and their exact order for take-off. They also planned attacks on various U.S. tourist sites, such as Las Vegas, and a military hospital in Jordan. One of their associates, Syrian Nabil Al-Marabh, was on the FBI most wanted list and was a right-hand man of Osama Bin Laden.
And while the terrorists had written plans and took steps to carry them out–and while the Justice Department touted the case to the press–Justice offered Convertino little help and breathed down his neck every step of the way. He was on his own with one FBI agent and no support for a major terrorism trial. And that was by design. Convertino’s then-boss, U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Collins, had political ambitions and was courting the very Islamic community and institutions who’d provided tax-funded commercial driving lessons to the terrorists. He couldn’t afford for Convertino to win and even helped secure witness testimony from terrorist Omar Abdel-Fatah Shishani to try to sabotage Convertino’s case.
But with all the odds against him, Convertino–who successfully prosecuted mafiosi, drug kingpins, and even BCCI fraudsters–won convictions against the Detroit terrorists who worked for SkyChef and had access to planes at Detroit Metro Airport.
With victory comes spoils, and Convertino was invited to testify before the Senate Finance Committee by then Chairman Charles Grassley. But Collins wanted to be the one to get the glory. Grassley said no dice. He wanted Convertino and subpoenaed him to appear before the Senate Comittee.
Collins became incensed, and saw an opportunity to both please his Muslim cronies in Detroit and Dearbornistan and a way to get Convertino. He pulled Convertino from the appeal of the case, and when Convertino was away, sent attorneys to search his office for material to overturn the verdicts against these Al-Qaeda terrorists.
Collins and his pet attorney, Eric Strauss, found what he was looking for, however flimsy and non-exculpatory, and sent it to the terrorists’ attorneys with a veiled suggestion that they try to overturn the case. Then they did everything they could to help the terrorists’ lawyers, persecuting Convertino every step of the way. Eventually, the Justice Department–with now-Deputy Attorney General Craig Morford taking the lead–itself made a motion to overturn the terrorism convictions.
Then, the Department of Justice indicted Convertino on the flimsiest of cases. has reported on the baselessness of the charges and how Convertino was right that these were terorists. Recently, Convertino filed a 46-page motion asking that this witch-hunt finally end, which was just unsealed. A devout Catholic, Rick Convertino has five children and a wife to support, and the Justice Department is making sure that he pays dearly, every step of the way, for daring to convict Al-Qaeda terrorists bent on destroying America.
I hope the Convertino motion is granted by Federal Judge Arthur Tarnower. The case is empty and baseless, and the epitome of the vengeance by government bureaucrats run amok. The government even made a to help free the terrorists and “get” Convertino.
We will NEVER defeat terrorism, so long as we continue to destroy our brave citizen soldiers, like Rick Convertino, who fight against all odds against America’s enemies on our shores and for America’s survival. Promoting the Islamist butt-kissers who help in the persecution–as in promoting Craig Morford to Deputy Attorney General–only weakens America’s resolve.
Well past time for the government to drop its ridiculous non-case against Rick Convertion. It’s a waste of taxpayer money that should be used prosecuting real criminals and terrorists. And it’s a travesty.

You’ve heard of all the high-profile Prisoners of War/Missing In Action soldiers, like –missing for 1.5 years, so far, in Iraq.
But did you know that there are some 88,000 U.S. troops still missing from World War II and other conflicts? One of those is one of the soldiers who filmed while others held the flag in the famous Joe Rosenthal photo on Mount Suribachi at Iwo Jima. America has a special team looking for these captive or fallen heroes:

IWO JIMA, Japan – U.S. searchers looking for the remains of the Marine who filmed the famous flag raising over Iwo Jima say they have found two possible sites and recommend a larger group excavate them, officials said.

“Our investigation has been very successful,” said U.S. Army Maj. Sean Stinchon. The search team spent 10 days on the island surveying and digging.
“We found two caves and tunnels. We will recommend a follow-up team be brought in to use heavy equipment,” he said.
He said the team did not find the remains of Sgt. William Genaust, who filmed the flag-raising days before he was killed during combat on the island.
“We are the initial investigation. We surveyed the hill. We will need to return to actually dig for specific remains,” Stinchon said on June 27.
The seven-man team, including an anthropologist, focused mainly on surveying Hill 362A, where Genaust was believed to have been killed.
It was the first U.S.-led search on Iwo Jima Рone of the fiercest and most symbolic battlegrounds of World War II — in nearly 60 years.
The team arrived on Iwo Jima on June 17 and began slashing its way through thick, thorny brush on the island’s interior in search of the area where Genaust is believed to have been killed.
A combat photographer with the 28th Marines, Genaust filmed the raising of the flag atop Iwo Jima’s Mount Suribachi on Feb. 23, 1945, standing just feet away from Associated Press photographer Joe Rosenthal as he took the photograph that won a Pulitzer Prize and came to symbolize the war in the Pacific.
Genaust, then 38, died nine days later when he was hit by machine-gun fire as he was helping fellow Marines secure a cave, said Johnnie Webb, a civilian official with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command, headquartered in Hawaii.
About 88,000 U.S. service members are listed as missing from World War II, and JPAC conducts searches worldwide to find them.
Iwo Jima — inhabited only by a small contingent of Japanese troops ‚Äî continues to be an open grave.
Though most of the American dead were recovered in 1948, some 250 U.S. troops are still missing from the Iwo Jima campaign. Many were lost at sea, but others died in caves or were buried by explosions.
Japan’s government and military are helping with the search on Iwo Jima, which this month was officially renamed Iwo To – the island’s name before the war.
Japan sent its first search parties to the island in 1952, and others have followed every year since Iwo Jima was returned to Japanese control in 1968. They have recovered sets of 8,595 remains – but, to date, no Americans, said Health Ministry official Nobukazu Iwadate.
The United States took the volcanic island on March 26, 1945, after a 31-day battle that pitted 100,000 U.S. forces against 21,200 Japanese. About 6,821 Americans were killed; only 1,033 Japanese survived.
Of 82 Medals of Honor awarded to Marines in World War II, 26 were won on Iwo Jima.

Investigators rely heavily on tips and information from relatives, citizens, and witnesses to find our missing heroes. They also take DNA swabs from relatives to match potential remains.

The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP)–the nation’s largest association of police chiefs says Immigration and Customs Enforcement Chieftess and her top minions are not getting the job done on illegal immigration. The cops say they must do the job that Americans–ie., The ICE Princess and her subordinates–just won’t do.
Because of that the IACP has had to publish its own primer on immigration enforcement for local cops to pick up the slack:

WASHINGTON – The nation’s largest association of police chiefs is distributing an unusual primer on immigration enforcement to thousands of law enforcement agencies, saying the absence of a national immigration policy has left local communities with an “overwhelming” burden.
The publication by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) offers instruction on when state and local officers may intervene in cases involving illegal immigrants. It stops short of urging local authorities to enforce federal immigration laws but says agencies can no longer ignore the local troubles posed by the explosive growth of undocumented immigrants.
“Because there has been very little federal assistance on this issue, it’s been pushed down to us,” IACP president Joseph Carter said. “Our frustration is that this has now become an issue for our membership.”
Immigration enforcement, primarily the domain of the federal government, has been a particularly sensitive issue for local communities.
“Local police leaders face a growing set of immigration-related duties in the face of scarce and narrowing resources,” the 45-page document states. “It is critically important for local agencies to avoid being caught in the middle of endless battles over immigration policy.”
The report states that local police are confronted with:
* Human smuggling operations.
* Crime victims who are reluctant to cooperate with police out of fear they will be deported.
* The rejuvenation of hate groups targeting new immigrant communities. [DS: HUH?! Looks like some police have been drinking .]
* Community disputes involving the location of day-laborer hiring sites or complaints related to overcrowded housing.
Carter said the document, circulated Tuesday, was the association’s response to “numerous” requests for guidance from its membership, which numbers about 20,000 police officials.
“What we have provided is a framework to help guide chiefs. How they deal with it is an issue for their political leadership. “We can’t dictate how a community should respond.”
So far, the collective response of local communities has produced a quilt of local immigration policies.
[DS: USA Today drinking the anti-borders enforcement Kool Aid here. This is a common phrase employed by USA Today. There is a “quilt” of local policies dealing with everything from murder to robbery. No-one’s complained about varying laws in, say, Michigan versus Illinois on armed robbery. It’s called “local control.”] . . .
“Immigration presents a confusing picture for the police, with various elements of the community taking adversarial positions,” the IACP report said.
Carter hoped that the IACP’s primer would “move law enforcement to a more consistent approach. Lacking guidance from a court decision or the federal government, we’re just trying to find the best way to move ahead.”

It’s pretty clear that The ICE Princess is not getting the job done. That’s why local police must take it up. And that’s why they’re confused. She’s . And she’s cancelled visits to Arizona because Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Governor Janet Napolitano have criticized ICE and, again, are doing the job that some Americans–The ICE Princess–just won’t do.
When local police must do the job that some Americans–ie., ICE “leadership”–just won’t do, it’s a strong hint that those “Americans” are a whopping billion-dollar failure.

He hasn’t entered the Presidential race yet, but Fred Thompson, yesterday, showed us why he’s the scariest Republican Presidential candidate. And maybe the scariest of both parties.
Don’t believe Thompson’s claim that he understands the Islamist jihadist threat to America. His announcement, yesterday, of his choice of Spencer Abraham as campaign manager, told us everything we need to know. Although Abraham, of Lebanese descent, is a Christian, he is a career water carrier for Islamists of the most extremist stripe and made that the cornerstone of his failed, one-term Senate career and equally lousy tenure as Energy Secretary.

Spencer Abraham:
Former Bush Energy Secretary, Current Pan-Islamist & Fred Thompson Campaign Manager
As a conservative–but more important, as an American concerned about the future of this country in the face of a terrorist threat–Thompson’s choice of Spencer Abraham was the final nail in the coffin for me in opposing Fred Thompson’s quest for the White House.
I know Spencer Abraham. He wrote one of my recommendations for law school. And the Spencer Abraham that I and all of America have since experienced is bad news for everyone except CAIR, ADC, MPAC, ISNA, and all Islamists who want to endanger America.
In 2003, I wrote the a/k/a Spence a/k/a Edward Spencer Abraham (which was quoted in The Washington Post), and I re-publish it below, with several additions I’ve made, updating it. At the time Spence was still Energy Secretary, but he left to become a .
As a Senator, he took marching orders from James Zogby of the pan-Islamist Arab American Institute, opposing profiling of Arabs, the use of secret evidence against Muslims (at the behest of Muslim groups), attempting to repeal the Clinton counterterrorism package, refusing to fund computer tracking of student and other foreign aliens, giving millions in our tax money right to Hezbollah, and putting CAIR on the map on Capitol Hill (taking the group’s officials around to meet other Senators and Members of Congress). He took campaign contributions from the relatives of Hezbollah-backed top Lebanese officials after he got the group millions in our tax money.
Spence was one of only two Senators in the entire U.S. Senate who refused to sign a letter calling on President Clinton to condemn Palestinian terrorism and Yasser Arafat. This was at the height of a series of homicide bombings in Israel in 1999 and 2000.
As Energy Secretary, he gave top secret tours of nuclear facilities, as well as detailed information on how we secure them to Muslim nations who are our enemies. And he gave out undue post-9/11 awards to Al-Qaeda money-launderers . . . at the White House. The money launderers were raided by U.S. Customs Service agents.
After he left the Bush cabinet, Spence that practice the Arab boycott of Israel and don’t really like us too much either. He took their money and until the Thompson race, did their bidding.
Do you really support a guy, Fred Thompson, who picked this man to head up his team? Either Thompson is clueless about Abraham, which should immediately disqualify him for the White House and frighten all of us about how he makes decisions. Or he knows about Abraham, and went with him anyway. Just as bad.
If you want to say no to jihad, you WILL say NO to Fred Thompson. He chose, and now we must choose against him:
JIHAD SPENCE: Bush’s Dangerous Energy Secretary is Now Fred Thompson’s Campaign Manager

Since the Blackout of 2003, he’s gotten lots of TV face time. But should U.S. energy policy be entrusted to Spencer Abraham?
In 2000, President Bush said his Cabinet would “look like America,” nominating Abraham, the defeated Lebanese-American Senator from Michigan, to Energy Secretary–part of the Bush strategy targeting the Arab vote.
But was this political strategy in the best interest of the country? Abraham’s record suggests otherwise.
In the two years since 9/11, Abraham did absolutely nothing to improve our precarious electric power situation.
That would be bad enough.
But, since 9/11, Abraham continued a controversial UN-sponsored program allowing foreign visitors from countries on the State Department terrorist list to tour U.S. nuclear reactors. A course sponsored by the UN International Atomic Energy Agency, taught by U.S. nuclear weapons lab security personnel, gives tours of Nuclear Regulatory Commission facilities and teaches participants from 57 countries–including Iran, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia–security techniques employed at American nuclear sites. “They were teaching them to black out systems, which they could use against us at labs,” an official told a popular newssite. This was reported on extensively by investigative reporter Paul Sperry, author of “Infiltration.”
The Clinton Administration taught the course to foreign representatives, too. But that was pre-9/11. In the post-9/11 era, Abraham irresponsibly continued it, despite protests.
Then there’s Jamal Barzinji. Abraham enlisted him to find parties who helped and reached out to Muslims after 9/11, with Abraham hosting an awards ceremony for them. Problem is, Barzinji is an officer and/or director in SAFA Trust, Mar-Jac Poultry, and International Institute for Islamic Thought, all raided by Customs in March 2002 for laundering over $1.7 billion to Al-Qaeda and Islamic Jihad (through University of South Florida terrorist professor and Islamic Jihad founder and frontman, Sami Al-Arian).
More troubling is Abraham’s Senate record, ignored by his former Senate colleagues in an easy confirmation hearing.
Should a Senator who deliberately endangered national security for Arab/Muslim votes and campaign money be entrusted to oversee U.S. energy policy and access?
Abraham’s frightening national security record included:
Liberal immigration policy, including lax foreign visitor tracking, at the behest of Arab/Muslim groups; Tried to End Profiling, Secret Evidence Use Against Terrorists
Abraham was Senate Immigration Subcommittee Chairman through the end of 2000. Abraham routinely caved to the demands of Arab/Muslim leaders, such as the Arab American Institute’s James Zogby, on national security matters, especially immigration.
“Ever since (I first met) him, Abraham has been coming to us and giving advice, support and the benefits of his leadership,” Zogby told The Detroit News.
And taking Zogby’s advice, too.
Abraham actively worked to delay computer systems to track foreign visitors, which Arab/Muslim groups, including Zogby’s, strongly opposed. 1996 immigration law required computerized entry and exit tracking of all temporary visas, but was gutted by Abraham and other legislators. They refused to allocate money for the program and delayed its full implementation until 2005. In 2000, Abraham, as Chairman of the Immigration Subcommittee, delayed implementation of other requirements of the 1996 immigration measure, including university-assisted enforcement student visa laws and collection of fees from foreign students to pay for computer tracking.
These programs might have prevented the Sept. 11 attacks. But Abraham desperately craved the Arab/Muslim vote in Michigan.
Abraham also sponsored and pushed for the repeal of the use of secret evidence against terrorists, a vital portion of the Clinton counterterrorism package. He also sought to outlaw profiling of Arabs and Muslims by federal law enforcement.
Foreign aid funding for Hezbollah, rewarded by pseudo-foreign campaign contributions
In July 2000, Abraham sought over $268 million in tax-funded USAID grants for Hezbollah terrorist-controlled Southern Lebanon, at Arab American Institute’s Zogby’s request. Iranian- and Syrian-backed Hezbollah, has targeted and murdered many Americans. Millions in similar USAID grants (which have scant strings and accountability attached) to Afghanistan were misspent on Taliban terrorist activities. Abraham enlisted Michigan Republican Congressman Joe Knollenberg, on the House International Relations Committee, to push the questionable aid package in the House. They ended up obtaining $86 million, which went straight to Hezbollah and which was never tracked thereafter. They knew this, and that’s why they and Zogby sought the money for their Hezbollah friends.
Abraham and Knollenberg were repaid for their efforts, receiving thousands in campaign contributions from Nijad Fares, the Houston-based greencard-holding son of Syrian-backed Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister Issam Fares.
Soft on terrorism
Abraham was one of only two U.S. Senators who refused to sign an October 2000 letter to President Clinton condemning terrorist acts by Yasser Arafat and the P.L.O.
Abraham led the nearly successful June 2001 attempt to reverse the use of classified evidence against terrorists, sponsoring the legislation at the behest of Islamist groups, including the American Muslim Association (AMA) and the American Muslim Political Coordination Council (AMPCC), both headed by Agha Saeed.
In July 1999, Abraham wrote to Saeed, AMA, and AMPCC asking their support: “Your efforts are truly needed in the political arena. . . . You can truly make a difference in the political and policy arenas, and I remain committed to helping you achieve that goal.”
But Saeed openly praised Palestinian terrorism as “armed resistance” and appeared at lectures and events sponsored by Hamas front groups, including one panel, in which he was joined by the indicted Al-Arian, entitled: “Zionism: A Racist and Colonialist Ideology.” AMA-sponsored events featured these exhortations: “The trees and the stones will say, oh Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me. Come and kill him!” “Victory comes from Allah and Hezbollah is our model.” “Hear that, Bill Clinton? We are all supporters of Hamas.”
Given Spencer Abraham’s record of kowtowing to Arab, Muslim, and foreign interests on virtually every national security issue, his hegemony at Energy is disturbing. He should control no form of power–political or electric.

Reports of Michael Chertoff’s whereabouts in the aftermath of the British Doctors’ failed terrorist attacks should disturb all Americans.
While most Americans were worried about jihadist doctors coming to America and attempting the same attacks they tried in Britain, Michael Chertoff was busy . . . partying in the Hamptons? Gee, who knew there was a “Situation Room” at swanky Hamptons’ restaurant “Almond.” It was the height of the Fourth of July holiday weekend and mid-week, and most Americans and top government officials were worried that another attack was imminent on or around America’s birthday. But not the Serpenthead.

“Entourage”: The Michael “Serpenthead” Chertoff Story
Nope. Press clips detail the “hard work” that some Americans–but for Chertoff–won’t do and the lengths to which no-one but the Serpenthead will go to protect the vulnerable island homes of Jerry Seinfeld, Billy Joel, and Howard Stern. Oh, and by the way, Chertoff had FOURTEEN(!) Secret Service agent bodyguards guarding him and his wife while they dined on shank of lamb, $17 “Le Grand Macaroni & Cheese”, or some other overpriced, pretentious cuisine on the Almond menu.
Gee, so this is why the Secret Service keeps having a shortage of agents to guard Presidential candidates and why whole units of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents must do long assignments supplementing Secret Service protection details, instead of rounding up illegal aliens. While he certainly doesn’t need 14 agents guarding him at dinner (sorry, but why would any extremist Muslims try to kill their best double agent in the U.S. government, the Serpenthead?), the smaller number he does need could have come from ICE or another part of DHS.
And FYI, Almond is one of the most expensive restaurants on the already expensive Hamptons. Did taxpayers pay the tab? Regardless, it’s very unseemly–while America worries about 20 million illegal aliens “doing the work Americans won’t do” and while America was on high alert following the British Muslim Doctor attacks–for Chertoff to be lounging around at a fancy restaurant on the Hamptons. If crises like that aren’t worthy of his immediate attention, then lets find a new guy who actually cares about America’s national security, instead of haute-cuisine taste-testing and lounging with an excessive coterie of tax-paid bodyguards.

Hard work? Hilarious. The hard work was the 14 Secret Service agents keeping themselves from sneering at this walking, bloated sense of self-importance.

Who the F needs a 14 man Secret Service detail??? And aren’t security guards supposed to “fade into the background”? It’s the “look at me I am so important” That makes me gag. I spent half my life out in the Hamptons (my family is year round residents – not the uberrich summer interlopers. One summer I sat 3 tables away from Margaret Thatcher (when she was Prime Minister) at Gosman’s Dock in Montauk- she had maybe three security guards.
How much did it cost the taxpayers to house 14 Secret Service agents in the Hamptons for one of the most overbooked weekends in the year? A standard room at the South Hampton Inn during the summer runs at the cheapest for $299.00 a night (that is the closest hotel I can picture to Bridgehampton)- there are a number of little B&B’s- but I doubt they give any sort of concessions to the Gov’t. Or did we pay over 10K to rent them all a house?

I frequently give you updates and bulletins on the silliness and pan-jihadism espoused by the women’s mags your wives, girlfriends, sisters, and daughters read. But, actually, the “men’s” magazines espouse this Hate-America-First, Love-Islamism-Second mentality just as vehemently. I use the word “men’s” in quotation marks because I’m not talking the mags for red-blooded, straight men (like Stuff, Maxim, etc.). I’m talking the magazines aimed at men who think they are girls, like GQ, Esquire, etc. You know, the ones that keep telling men, every single season, that pink is in. Um, yeah, at the transvestite tutu club.

One of the worst offenders is GQ. The magazine really loves to warp the definition of patriotism. It loves to pervert it into the hatred of America and love of our enemies. Check the August 2007 issue, with, appropriately, left-wing girlie-man Matt Damon on the cover. A large headline next to his smiling mug is this one pictured below. You get the idea: Real patriotism is that purused by lawyers trying to help mass murderers escape Gitmo and plan new mass-murders against us, anew. As for the rest of us–who actually give a damn about American national security–we’re all Hitler and Eva Braun clones.
I’d put together a list of advertisers in this obnoxious magazine. But I already know that the men who read this site are real men, so they don’t patronize moisturizer products or buy pastel pink suits. (If you do, then you’re the exception to the rule.)

Whenever the government and the press go out of their way to avoid telling you the nationality and religion of a group of perpetrators, that generally means the perpetrators are Muslim and likely from the Mid-East.
That’s the case with the TSA reports of dry runs and attempts at testing the system which have taken place at several airports around the country. The reports say blocks of cheese with wires coming out of them and cellphone batteries attached, dry ice containers containing clay, items with coil wire attached, and assorted other items aimed at seeing what they can get through security, have all been found on passengers attempting to take them aboard flights.

While the reports say the perpetrators are members of both sexes, they don’t tell you anything more . . . like, say, RELIGION or NATIONALITY or APPEARANCE. My sources at several airports tell me that most of these men and women have been Arabs and almost all of them have been Muslims.
That’s why they’re not telling you this info.
wouldn’t want you to get the right idea. That’s why he was angry beyond belief, last year, when the FBI released photos and names of the 11 then-missing Egyptian students in violation of their visas. Surprise!–all Arab Muslims. And we might come to the ill-advised conclusion that Arab Muslims often violate their student visas and disappear into the great American abyss. Because that never happens, right?
And there have been many more dry run attempts and tries at testing the system, many of them at Muslim-dominated Detroit Metro Airport. Why weren’t those and many others detailed in the TSA report? Because they don’t want America to know the truth and get scared. But we should be scared.
So when they tell you that there were wires or cell phone batteries attached to the cheese, you should ask them:
But was the cheese halal?
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Well past time to stop looking for items and start looking at PEOPLE (ie., Muslims, Arabs, etc.)

Every four years, beginning with Bill Clinton’s successful race against George H.W. Bush, “Choose or Lose” pops up again like herpes. The campaign–ostensibly to get more young people to vote in the Presidential elections–was really a left-wing vehicle to get more votes for the Clintons, Gore, etc.
Well, in 2004 Choose or Lose was back with a new name, “Declare Yourself.” And now, it’s baaaaack (unfortunately). The group claims it is a “non-partisan youth voter-initiative for get-out-the-vote-efforts between now and the presidential election.” Non-partisan? Riiiiiiight. And it’s populated by the usual suspect class of annoying airhead celebs and liberal operatives, including the brother of Hilary Clinton’s speechwriter.

Declare Yourself was founded by far-leftie Norman Lear (People for the American Way founder), and has on its advisory board , producer/director J.J. Abrams, ESPN’s race-baiting Stuart Scott, and .
Silverman’s sister, Rena Silverman, is a speechwriter for Hillary. You’ll recall that I wrote about how Rena told Marie Claire that she can’t get through July without her thong underwear, and I remarked that any Clinton seeking the White House should get away from thongs (remember Monica’s thong-snapping) as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, I fell for Rena’s sob stories and pulled the post from this site, being the compassionate conservative that I am (way too much so). My mistake, since a number of liberal blogs followed my lead by posting about Rena’s Marie Claire thong declaration, and since I found out who her brother is and why she was interviewed by MC (I’ll be reposting about this at some later point).
As you’ll also recall, I wrote about Ben Silverman’s new choice for NBC programming, , a telenovela about a 17-year-old prostitute who discovers that with breast implants, she can make more money from her Johns and have a more luxe life. That’s coming to NBC primetime, next year. Silverman said he “scoured the earth” for the greatest programming and found “Sin Tetas.” He’s also the guy who’s bringing Rosie O’Donnell to NBC, next year, with a daytime talk show AND a nighttime MSNBC left-wing political rant as the male version of Keith Olbermann. Silverman “loves her” (O’Donnell), said various reports.
That’s who’s telling America’s kids to vote? No thanks. Think it’ll be non-partisan with him on board? Puh-leeze.
Declare Yourself participants also include (who and got a free one to Iraq instead), Scarlett Johansson, Hilary Duff, Adrian Grenier, Mandy Moore, and Kate Walsh. Oh, and also, , which is very interesting, since he ain’t a U.S. citizen, and therefore, can’t vote here. We need this annoying Brit comedian who makes fun of America enlisting new voters in our Presidential elections?
Among others, Declare Yourself is partnering with Rolling Stone and US Magazine. Do we really want Rolling Stone (which called me ) and US (US?! US?!) picking our President?

Really? Is she going to let prospective voters feel up her breasts–or will she feel up their breasts–both of which she frequently does on her vapid daytime minstrel talk show?

Well, now, maybe you can understand of yesterday’s show raids of Dearbornistan-based Hezbollah charities, and As I noted yesterday, the FBI raided and shut down only the piddling charity, GCO, which sent just over $160,000 to terrorists. The government froze only that group’s minimal assets.

BUT . . . when it came to the bigger cheeses, like Al-Mabarat Charitable Organization–which openly touts its leader as Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah (Hezbollah’s spiritual leader) and should have been shuttered by the FBI and U.S. Department of Justice, no dice. The FBI raided the charity, but neither it nor the Justice Department shut it down nor froze its assets. The Dearbornistan charity, which never made any secret about sending its million dollars per year to Hezbollah, remains open for business.
Ditto for , which sends multi-millions to HAMAS and apparently Al-Qaeda, every single year. It was raided almost a year ago, with nothing happening to it.
Ditto for , the Dearbornistan-based Mid-East restaurant chain owned and run from Lebanon by fugitive indictee and Hezbollah financier . To this day, Chahine collects money from and conducts the business of the restaurant, even though a federal indictment alleged he used the restaurant to give $20 million, tax-free, to Hezbollah.
Why are these charities and businesses allowed to remain open for business? Why haven’t their assets been frozen and/or seized? Why?
Well, I’ll tell you why. These raids are for show. Little comes of them. Even when individuals have been indicted, like Chahine, they’ve been given ample warning by and (as in Chahine’s case, as well as the case of the Hammoud family of Hezbollah money-launderers). The raids, the indictments, everything that goes with them are all meant for PR hype and TV cameras. But there is nothing behind them.
The bottom line is that Murphy is openly in bed with extremists in the Muslim community and has THE WORST record among all U.S. Attorneys in the country for prosecuting Islamic terrorists, and that’s in the heart of Islamic America. Syracuse University found that Murphy has the lowest rate of pursuing terrorist cases referred to him by the FBI, and he has the lowest rate of successful prosecutions (convictions) of the cases he pursues. Add that to the charities and fugitives he respectively allows to remain open for business and flee the country, and you have a U.S. Attorney who is actively helping terrorist groups flourish in our country.
Yet another sign of “” in the War on Terror.
