Twenty-six years ago, today, on June 7, 1981, fourteen F-15s and F-16s flew off the runway of Etzion Air Force base in the Negev, Israel, flying over Jordanian, Saudi, and Iraqi airspace, to attack the French-built Iraqi Osirak nuclear reactor. It was the beginning of the successful Operation Opera.
The late Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon, Z”L*–who died in the Space Shuttle Columbia space flight in 2003–was one of the F-16 pilots who bombed the Iraqi nuclear reactor Tammuz 1 near Baghdad, part of Osirak.
While Israel was swiftly and strongly condemned at the time (including by the U.S.), today we saw the huge favor and act of courage the Israelis did for us–for the entire world.

Will anyone today–in the impotent West and equally impotent Israel–have the courage and the initiative to do to Iran’s nuclear facilities what the Israelis did to Iraq’s? It may be too late already. But, even if it is not, time is of the essence. And wimpitude is all the rage, infecting most of those who should be doing something.
Condoleeza Rice is impressing her way-too-overwhelming influence on President Bush to do nothing and to keep talking and begging like a jilted boyfriend for Iran to stop. While we “talk” and “dialogue,” their nuclear program comes further into development, and we achieve . . . nothing. And, during it all, she and Bush are too busy to do anything substantive, like actual stopping the enemy.
They live out their Walter Mitty fantasies, while our doom draws closer because they’re simply too busy with more important things, like Bono Vanity Fair covers. Idiots.

Yesterday, despite newspaper articles promoting and mass e-mails, only 15 people–mostly young kids–showed up to a unity protest called by Arab Muslim groups. It was supposed to show the unity of Palestinian, Lebanese, and Iraqi Muslims despite all of their infighting in the Mid-East.
And all they could get was 15 people–mostly young kids. Hilarious.
But with only 15 people, that didn’t stop Detroit Free Press resident Islamist Niraj Warikoo from “covering” it and lying–he reported that “about 100 Arab Americans, most of them under age 30,” were there.

Uh, new definition: “About” = add 85 to total number which actually attended or multiply by about 6.
Pan-Islamist “reporter” and constant fabricator Gregg Krupa of the Detroit Newsistan claimed there were “about 50 people.”
Detroit Newsistan definition: “About” = more than triple the total actual number, which is Krupa’s constant practice. He always multiplies the number of actual Muslims or Arabs in the area by more than three. Or he just makes up a figure out of thin air, a figure which can’t be documented.
Luv the “unity” of my area’s Muslims. There is, in fact, only one thing that unites these infighting barbarians: Their hatred of you and me–Jews, Christians, and America (especially if they live here).

Remember how then-CIA chief George Tenet, under Bill Clinton, trained Palestinians and gave them weaponry? Remember how they then used that training to commit terrorist attacks on Israel?
Well, Carl in Jerusalem reports that this is about to happen again. Thanks, President Bush. Carl reports that U.S. Lieutenant General Keith Dayton, the US security coordinator to Israel and the Gaza Strip (not sure why a U.S. official is there in this capacity), ordered “millions of bullets and thousands of rifle magazines, hand grenades and Kalashnikov automatic rifles.” He is, unfortunately, doing this with full cooperation and sanction of incompetent Israeli leader Ehud Olmert.

These weapons will be given to the Fatah side of the current Al-Alien v. Al-Predator/HAMAS v. Fatah fighting. Then, they will be used on Israelis and Americans. Carl has a whole list and details of how Palestinian Islamic terrorists have used American weaponry for terrorism and how they will do it again.
He rightly wonders how America can do the same thing and expect a different result. Read it.
We can’t expect Ehud Olmert to suddenly gain an iota of common sense, but we should demand that our tax money does NOT fund weapons and training for Palestinians. Period.
Meanwhile, here’s what the weapons and training will go to:
In 2006, 345 Palestinians were killed by fellow barbarians, er . . . Palestinians. That’s up from 176 from the year before, according to the Palestinian Independent Commission for Citizens’ Rights, yesterday. Through the first five months of 2007, 271 Palestinians have already been killed by other Palestinians.
That’s a start. If the weapons and training only went to that activity, it would be a worthy American investment. But what will be problematic is when they resume killing Jews and Americans.

Remember R. Kelly, the R & B singer who–FIVE YEARS AGO!–was charged with 21 counts of child pornography, and has yet to stand trial?
Well, yesterday, his new salacious and sleazy CD, “Double Up,” hit #1 on the Billboard charts, selling 386,000 copies.
So how does a man get away with never facing trial, five years after the charges?
And why did Oprah Winfrey–who uses her show to bounty hunt child molesters–invite R. Kelly to walk the red carpet at the Chicago debut of her musical, “The Color Purple”? HOprah, herself, led R. Kelly down the red carpet, according to Newsweek. Why? Apparently she’s not as opposed to child molesters and rapists as she claims.

A Newsweek report by Allison Samuels describes the absurd Paris-Hilton style “justice” that R. Kelly is getting and why he is still walking the streets and purveying hit albums. The report does not explain the utter hypocrisy of Oprah gettin’ cozy with Mr. Kelly:

Janice Forest did a double take as she waited to be seated two weeks ago at the Cadillac Theater in Chicago. It was the opening night of the musical “The Color Purple,” and only Chicago’s A list were on the red carpet, led by the show’s producer, Oprah Winfrey. Somewhere in the procession of Windy City luminaries came R&B star R. Kelly. Kelly, wearing his Sunday-best dark suit, black and white spectator shoes and neatly braided cornrows, worked the crowd with the confidence of a man without a care in the world. Forest just stared at him, in shock. “This is a guy who ought to be in jail in my mind,” says Forest, a 43-year-old customer-service rep who lives on the South Side. “How dare he show up at a play about rape like all is forgotten?”
Kelly may very well believe that’s true. Despite being arrested and charged with 21 counts of child pornography in June 2002, Kelly, 41, has yet to stand trial. The Cook County prosecutor’s office says that Kelly isn’t likely to face a judge any time soon, despite a 26-minute videotape that allegedly shows him having sex with (and urinating on) an underage girl. A bootleg copy, called “Rated R Kelly Triple XXX, Vol. 1,” has been a top seller on numerous porn Web sites and inner-city street corners for years. Yet next week, Kelly will release a new album, “Double Up.” It’s his third CD–since his arrest.
How did this happen? Some of the delays were caused by legitimate, if slightly bizarre, reasons, including Kelly’s burst appendix and a judge who hurt himself falling off a ladder. Kelly’s lawyers have maintained all along that it is not the singer in the video, despite the uncanny resemblance. “This is a cloud over his head as well,” says Allan Mayer, the singer’s spokesperson. “No one wants this over more than Mr. Kelly.” But he’s not acting like a man in a hurry to clear his name. Kelly’s lawyers have always had the option of invoking the speedy trial rule that mandates the case begin in four months or be dropped. They never have. Shauna Boliker, the head of the Cook County state’s attorney’s Sex Crime Unit, says the last five years have been filled with endless legal maneuvers. “His lawyers have filed 25 to 30 motions, and that’s just not the norm in any case,” says Boliker. “And the people who are really suffering are the victims.” Those victims may be the real reason for Kelly’s nonrush to judgment. People knowledgeable about the case, who don’t want to be identified because the trial hasn’t begun, say they think Kelly and his lawyers are stalling until the young girls become adults, when they’ll be less sympathetic victims–and, in the case of the girl in the video, less recognizable. (Kelly’s lawyer did not return calls for comment.) . . .
You’d think that the state would have a strong case. Kelly had a well-known interest in minors. In 1994, he illegally married the singer Aaliyah when she was 15 and he was 28. Kelly has reportedly been sued four times by women who claimed some type of sexual misconduct; Kelly is believed to have settled all of the cases for unspecified amounts. Some people say there were other incidents as well. “A lot of people knew what was going on and chose to look the other way,” says one of Kelly’s former employees, who admits to being one of those people. “He wasn’t doing this without help.”

So, Oprah, why are you hangin’ with a child rapist? And why did you make him a guest of honor at your musical?
And America, why are you buying R. Kelly’s product? If you’re one of the 386,000–or their parents–you are as much to blame as Queen HOprah.

This is from Tuesday’s USA Today, but it’s very important. It shows how out of touch the President and the Congress are with the pulse of the nation, when it comes to illegal immigration. While most Americans are sadly clueless on this very important issue, those that have a clue have the right view, overwhelmingly:

As the Senate prepares to vote on a landmark immigration bill, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds that Americans who have an opinion about it are overwhelmingly opposed to the deal.
By nearly 3-1, those who have a view say they’re against the compromise supported by Senate Democratic leaders and President Bush. However, 58% of those surveyed say they don’t know enough about the legislation to favor or oppose it.

Expect More of This in America if Amnesty Bill Passes

The telephone poll of 1,007 adults was taken Friday through Sunday.

For the 58% clueless, I recommend they read Kris Kobach’s column in today’s Washington Times: “A Wake Up Call for the Senate,” on immigration and terrorism and how they are inextricably linked.

Forty years ago, today, during the , Jerusalem was reunited. The Eastern part of the city was recaptured by Israel, rescued from Muslim occupation.
Contrary to popular thought and claims, the Holy City was never “Palestinian” insofar as “Palestinians” are Arabs (previous Palestinians were Jews named David and Shlomo). Before June 7, 1967, Jerusalem was for a few decades under the control of the minority-ruled Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. There was no screaming and yelling that it “belonged” to the Palestinians. For thousands of years, there had and has been a continuous Jewish presence in Jerusalem.

When Israeli soldiers liberated the Temple Mount area, site of the Western Wall–the holiest site in Judaism–they found the area to be dusty and garbage strewn. To the Muslims who controlled it, “East” Jerusalem was not important. Instead, they forsook Jerusalem, focusing their attention on Amman, Jordan’s capital. It was only after Israel reclaimed Jerusalem–after Jews reclaimed it from Muslim occupation–that it’s “importance” to Muslims was suddenly reborn.
Upon their entry, Israeli soldiers saw these signs of Muslim respect for “East” Jerusalem, among others:
* Various holes were drilled into Jewish graves and coffins on the Mount of Olives, also a holy site in Judaism, so that Jordanian Muslims could urinate into them. Jordanian Muslims also desecrated Jewish headstones from gravesites by making them into sidewalks and floors of barracks, just like the Nazis did.
* The Intercontinental Hotel–a prominent meeting place for PLO terrorist leaders and operatives–was deliberately built atop yet more Jewish graves.
But–even the desecration of dead Jews and holy Jewish sites aside–how important is Jerusalem to Islam, anyway? In truth, not very . . . except as a political football against Jews and Israel.
Jerusalem is mentioned exactly ZERO times in the Koran. On the other hand, it appears in the Torah–the Jewish Bible–at least 667 times. It appears in the Christian New Testament 154 times.
Nothing of Islamic significance ever happened in Jerusalem, unless you count the building of the Dome of the Rock Mosque on top of a Church, which was built on top of the Holy of Holies of the Jewish Temple, the “Beit HaMikdash.” Ditto for the building of Al-Aqsa Mosque nearby on the holy Jewish Temple Mount. (The fact that many Islamic terrorists met in Jerusalem to plot attacks on Jews and Christians there and elsewhere, does not establish an Islamic religious claim to the city.)
Although many authorities on Islam have written about how Jerusalem suddenly became of such (fictional) import to the “Religion of Peace,” the best summary is by Dr. Mordechai Kedar, Professor in the Department of Arabic Studies at Bar Ilan University, “How Did Jerusalem Come to Be So Holy to Muslims?” which originally appeared on the excellent site, IMRA (Independent Media Review & Analysis). Two other great articles, “Jerusalem in the Sources,” and “The Muslim Direction: Jerusalem’s Lack of Importance in Muslim History,” both by Moshe Kohn, also from IMRA, also exposes the empty Muslim claim to Jerusalem.
Kohn notes that until the 10th Century, Muslims called Jerusalem, “Ilya.” From the 10th Century on, Muslims used names with Jewish references: “Beit Al-Makdis,” the Arabic version of Beit HaMikdash (the Hebrew name for the Jewish Temple), “Al Quds”–a version of “Ir HaKadosh” (Hebrew for Holy City) and even “Siyyun” (Zion). The 13th Century Arab biographer and geographer, Yakut, wrote:

Mecca is holy to Muslims, and Jerusalem to the Jews.

The holiest cities in Islam are Mecca and Medina. Period. So, what about the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, you ask?
As Dr. Kader notes:

Islam rediscovered Jerusalem 50 years after Mohammad’s death. In 682 CE, Abd Allah Ibn Al-Zubayr rebelled against the Islamic rulers in Damascus, conquered Mecca and prevented pilgrims [Hajjis] from reaching Mecca for the Hajj. Abd Al-Malik, the Ummayad caliph, needed an alternative site for the pilgrimage and settled on Jerusalem, which was then under his control.
In order to justify this choice, a verse from the Koran was chosen (sura 17, verse 1), which states:

Glory to Him who caused His servant to travel by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, whose precincts We have blessed, in order to show him some of Our Signs . . . .

Clearly there is nothing here noting that Jerusalem is the site of the “Farthest Mosque.” The site is actually and had always been Mecca. But because Abd Al-Malik needed a place to send the Hajjis, and needed a solution fast–with Mecca blocked by warring Muslims–he randomly chose Jerusalem and made up a story to justify it.
Dr. Kedar writes that Abd Al-Malik made up all kinds of stories to justify this new, apocryphal version of Islam. He claimed Mohammed was conveyed to Jerusalem one night (even though at the time the journey took three days by camel) on a magical horse with the head of a woman, wings of an eagle, and the tail of a peacock. But many Muslim thinkers believed that it was just a dream of Mohammed, that he was never in Jerusalem. And the people of Mecca at the time, who knew Mohammed well, did not believe the story. Before that, Al-Aqsa–the “farthest mosque”–was well-known to be in Mecca in what is now Saudi Arabia.
Since then and in keeping with his new, creative story, the Ummayad Islamic dynasty invented many “traditions” as a basis for the new-found “awareness” of the “holiness” of Jerusalem in Islam.
Jerusalem simply wasn’t a Muslim city. Ever.
Contrast that with the Jewish claims to and continuous presence in Jerusalem throughout the ages, for thousands of years. In Judaism, in the Bible, Jerusalem is referred to as “Ir Kadosh”–the Holy City. It is also called “Ir David”–the City of David. Here’s a tip: David was neither “Palestinian” (in the new Arab sense) nor was he a Muslim.
Aside from the Jewish Temple–again, it’s the holiest site in Judaism–there are those graves the Muslims urinated into and built a hotel over on the Mount of Olives.
The Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives is the oldest Jewish cemetery in continuous use anywhere in the world. It is also one of the holiest places in Judaism, where for two thousand years, Jews have come to pray for redemption. It is believed that when the Messiah comes the departed would rise from their graves and gather in the Valley of Yehoshaphat, so many Jews have striven to be buried there. Jews believe that to be buried in that cemetery will enable one to be on site when the Messiah arrives and to be among the first to rise from the grave to participate in Messianic events.
Many great Yeshivot–Jewish academies of Biblical study–which housed many of the great Jewish scholars and rabbis were in Jerusalem, as Jerusalem was one of the two major centers of Jewish Torah scholarship. The “Talmud Yerushalmi” (Jerusalem Talmud) is a compilation of Jewish Biblical and legal thought and analysis published sometime during the 4th Century.
There are so many other sites of great importance to Judaism throughout Jerusalem, so many sites of great importance to Christianity throughout Jerusalem.
But the only site of “importance” to Islam is the result of a myth. And even after the myth became common thought, Muslims–when “East” Jerusalem was under their control–desecrated and disrespected the City. And–unlike under Muslim occupation–Israelis have accorded full respect to Muslim and Christian worshippers.
No-one rational–only the vast Muslim population, dominated by hate–wants to return to the days of Muslims urinating in and building hotels on graves, desecrating gravestones by using them for Nazi-like floors and sidewalks, and throwing trash on holy sites, and preventing pilgrims and tourists from praying there.
Jerusalem has been united for 40 years. Let there be many, many more.
Whose Jerusalem? History makes it quite clear it’s not a Muslim city.
And it never should be.

Today is the 63rd anniversary of D-Day: Operation Overlord, which began the liberation of Western Europe from Nazi occupation in World War II.
About 156,000 Allied troops led by the U.S., Britain, and Canada stormed five beaches of Normandy, France, in the largest seaborn invasion in history. D-Day paved the way for Allied victory over the Nazis and World War II’s end.

Unfortunately, today, Normandy is Al-Normandy . . . or soon to become it, as Muslims take over France. The people of France don’t remember what our people did to save their butts. Fortunately, some had the good sense to vote for Sarkozy to lead their country, but even he isn’t the greatest (he’s the best French leader we can hope for, for now, with a lot of blemishes).
Many of America’s Normandy veterans, like Vets, are gone. Those remaining are old and dying out.
Remember their sacrifices so that we could be free. Otherwise, most of you would be saluting Hitler’s son and speaking German. And I would have never existed, with my relatives transformed into ash and gaseous fumes (as most were, anyway).

My friend, Tom Marr, host on WCBM-AM in Baltimore (the Rush Limbaugh station), and on whose show I appeared this morning, played the audio from a speech President Roosevelt gave–actually a prayer he delivered–for the troops who invaded on D-Day. The audio was moving, and was located by Newt Gingrich (who is out with a book, “Pearl Harbor“).
President Roosevelt spoke of G-d and religion and sacrifice. He spoke of how many soldiers would die in battle, but that it was a sacrifice we must make for America. He spoke of our soldiers as Crusaders on a Crusade. The things he said, as Tom Marr pointed out, he could never say today–even though all of his statements would be applicable to our situation, today.
There were many Americans who opposed our involvement in World War II. They said, even after the Pearl Harbor attack, that we should stay out of it, that it wasn’t our fight or business. Thankfully, unlike today, we didn’t listen. We didn’t have an ACLU running the show and PC Presidents who stop using terms like “crusade” because they don’t want to offend sensitive, whining Muslims.
Rush Limbaugh, today, also read (though did not play the audio) the words of FDR. And –who else? –announced that he will play the audio.

Thanks to the many veterans–living and dead–who invaded and battled at Normandy on behalf of our country.

I don’t know about you, but when I vote for President of the United States of America, I don’t want a man who wants to be a celebrity. I vote for a man who wants to be President, Commander in Chief, and the Leader of the Free World. Unfortunately, the guy we have in their now doesn’t know the difference. And neither does his lousy, incompetent Secretary of State.

But they sure know how to hang with Bono and pose for covers of artsy magazines. Check out two of the dumb, dumb, dumb 20 versions of covers for the latest issue of Vanity Fair, “edited” by the annoying Bono, the Irish non-taxpayer who attacks generous American taxpayers (the most generous donors on earth, by far) and has convinced Bush and Congress to forgive loans owed to American Taxpayers by terrorist-host states like Sudan. Meanwhile, selfish Bono , on a trip. The Prez and Condi Clueless were among the annoying posers (and boy are they posers) in the name of his BS causes.
It figures that B. Hussein Obama and Palestinian Queen Rania of anti-Semitic, anti-American Jordan are posers, too.



We’re at war against terrorists, American soldiers are dying, Iran is developing nuclear weapons and vows to wipe Israel off the map. And these two are posing for Bono’s dopey Vanity Fair covers? Publicity articles about the covers say that most celebs were too busy to be together for their shots. Most except Clueless Condi and Bush, who posed with other celebs. They have plenty of time. Nothin’ goin’ on in the world. Yup, Brad Pitt and Madonna were busier than President George Bush and Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice.
More annoying, the Prez is posing with the racist, anti-White, anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian terrorism Bishop Desmond Tutu. What an ass. Why doesn’t he just pose with while he’s at it?
President Bush, Paris Hilton called from prison and she wants her dumb magazine covers and phony celebrity causes back. And she’s wondering who is occupying the Oval Office while you’re busy playing dopey supermodel.
