Is it just me . . . or are you also sick and tired of the gushing over Kevin Durant’s mother?

So, it’s Mother’s Day (or is that Mothers Day or Mothers’ Day?–I can never figure out for certain which one is right, though I believe it’s the first one I used). And for the last several days, the mainstream media have been gushing and drooling over NBA player Kevin Durant’s tearful speech thanking his mom when he won the NBA’s MVP Award (see the video below). The opportunistic, grandstanding NBA already took part of his speech and turned it into a “Happy Mother’s Day” ad. While Durant clearly loves his mother and calls her “the real MVP,” there’s a lot wrong with the undeserved congratulations for Wanda Pratt, Durant’s mom. Her behavior as a single mother risked his future, rather than guaranteeing it. It should be chastised, not cheered.

Being a good mother begins before conception. It begins with making good choices, like not choosing to become a babymama and have kids out of wedlock. But Kevin Durant’s mother made the wrong choice–not once, but TWICE. She had her first out of wedlock kid by age 18, and then she had another kid with the same man (thank Heavens for small favors) by the age of 21. Still not married. Not surprisingly, the man–Kevin Durant’s father, Wayne Pratt–walked out of their lives and didn’t return until Durant (he took his mother’s maiden name) was 13.

Here’s a tip: having kids out of wedlock is the best predictor that those kids will live in poverty and have it tough on a number of fronts–educationally, with illegal drugs, with premarital sex, crime, and so on. But Kevin Durant’s mother didn’t care. She went and had sex and two kids out of wedlock anyway. And for that, she’s being thanked and gushed over? For being a babymama and putting her kids into bad situations and poverty? Why should she be thanked for that? That’s behavior that shouldn’t be glorified. It should be condemned. I got a terrible virus on my desktop on Friday as I was writing and getting ready to post my movie reviews, and my laptop was running too slow to get the reviews finished and up before the Jewish Sabbath. Sorry for the delay. Nothing good at the movies, except the arthouse movie, anyway. For two out of three new movies, it seems it’s open season on Jews (courtesy of Jews). Again.

* “Neighbors“: Yet another dumb, pointless, disgustingly raunchy movie aimed at teens and 20-somethings with zero class. And it wasn’t even funny. I laughed 3-5 times, and that’s it. Plus, love that they did their best to include an anti-Semitic line in it: “You f–king Jews and your mothers!” That one is uttered by one of the two leads, an Australian woman who is married to a Jewish guy named “Mac” (what Jew is named “Mac”?). His character being a Jew is pointless and never mentioned except to include that stupid line. (When will they do a movie in which there’s a line like, “You f–king Muslims and your honor-killed, beheaded mothers!” ?) I normally hate Seth Rogen, and he maintained his hateworthy streak here. In fact, I hated every single person in this annoying, waste of time movie.

The story: “Mac” and Kelly (Rogen and Rose Byrne), a married couple with a baby, learn that a fraternity bought and moved into the house next door. (When they originally thought a gay couple was moving in, they were gushing and cheering over it.) The couple is worried that the fraternity will be too noisy, so they approach the frat boys (led by Zac Efron and Dave Franco) and ask them to make sure to keep the noise down, then party with the frat boys at their first noisy party and drink and do drugs with them all night. The Right is rightly upset about news that Hillary Clinton blocked Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram from the State Department terrorist list (until this past December), but Barack Obama is President, so he shares the blame. Yet, Boko Haram was founded and known to the world since 2002. And guess who declined to add the group to the State Department terrorist list from 2002 through the end of 2008? That’s right. George W. Bush. Why isn’t the Right calling him on this, too? Did he miss that Boko Haram bombed churches, buses, schools,police stations etc. and murdered over 10,000 people (including kidnapped Westerners) since the beginning?

As was well known to the Bush Administration, Boko Haram was committing terrorist acts since its founding, not long after 9/11. It’s well known that it’s an offshoot of Al-Qaeda, but never any terror designation. Not by Bush and not by Obama/Hillary. Why all the fuss now? You think the kidnapping of the nearly 300 girls is the group’s first terrorist act? Not even close. It’s been engaged in deadly terrorist acts since 2002.

And here’s another tip, since we’re talking about Islamic terrorist groups. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and many other countries have added the Muslim Brotherhood to their list of terrorist groups. Obama refuses to add the group to the State Department Terrorist List, and the right attacks him for this, as they should. But guess who refused steadfastly, even after 9/11 attacks to add the Muslim Brotherhood to the list, even though the group birthed HAMAS and Al-Qaeda? That’s right. George W. Bush. He deserves as much of the blame as Obama for this and probably more, since he ran as the “counter-terrorism Prez,” but Obama ran as the pan-Muslim lefty. My Holocaust survivor grandparents, Isaac and Adela, are probably turning over in their graves about this: two sickening guests at Steven Spielberg’s Shoah Foundation fundraising dinner. Shoah is the Hebrew word for Holocaust. Sadly, Spielberg has used his foundation to fund a number of disgusting things (such as self-hating, anti-Semitic Heeb Magazine). And now he is using it to honor and host some really disgusting people. And I’m not just talking about Barack Obama.

It’s bad enough that Spielberg honored Barack Obama with the Shoah Foundation’s Ambassador for Humanity Award. This is, after all, one of the most anti-Israel, anti-Semitic, pro-Muslim Presidents in U.S. History (the only person possibly tying in those categories is Jimmy Carter and maybe you might add Bill Clinton). This is a guy who has openly hosted and employed vocal anti-Semites and supporters of anti-Semitic, anti-Israel groups in the White House and in his administration. It’s a travesty that he should get any award with the name Holocaust in it . . . except maybe “Fosterer of a Future Holocaust Ambassador Award.”

But what’s just as sickening is that Kim Kardashian was one of the honored guests at this event, giving the peace (or victory?) sign, like she’s at some paid celebrity appearance with her moronic fans. Um, why is a porn star–Kardashian and her clan are only famous because she made a porn video with rapper Ray J–an honored guest at a Holocaust event? It’s nauseating and an utter insult to the six million Jews who were murdered in the Holocaust and the others who survived. And that’s not to mention her naked video with fiance Kanye West and her idiotic, lewd comments on her reality show, such as how pretty her vagina looks after pregnancy. Have you seen the pictures of 13-year-old Willow Smith, whose famous parents, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are trying to turn her into a star? The pictures are definitely sexual. And it’s yet another sad example of how Hollywood parents “raise” their kids . . . and by pop culture osmosis, yours.

Willow Smith is lying on a bed in front of a 20-year-old male without his shirt on. Yes, if any other male took a photo like this with a 13-year-old girl, her parents would be calling police and demanding pedophile charges be filed. Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, anyone? I have represented men who faced at least a decade of prison time because they were criminally accused by young women of doing a lot less than what comprises this photo. This is photographic evidence that would outrage most parents.

No Donald Sterling (or Paula Deen) treatment for this guy because he’s Black, and they are allowed to be racist. It’s well known in the sports world, by the way, that Michael Jordan’s penis, on the other hand, was not racist at all against White chicks. Not one bit.

In the new book, “Michael Jordan: The Life,” by Roland Lazenby, Michael Jordan says he was a racist against White people, and seems pretty damn proud about that.

Per an excerpt from the book, Jordan told Lazenby that he was suspended from school in 1977 after throwing a soda at a girl who called him the N-word. “So I threw a soda at her,” Jordan’s quoted as saying. “I was really rebelling. For a few weeks, I’ve been watching–as you probably have–the growing stories in the media about the Muslim kidnapping of nearly 300 mostly Christian girls in Nigeria. Yes, that’s right. Muslim. And Muslims in the United States and all over the world have done the same thing. Do the same thing. While the media whitewashes the I- and M-words out of the equation.

THIS. IS. ISLAM. Boko Haram USA–Sex Slave Ring Run by These Devout Somali Muslims in Minnesota and Tennessee Farmed Out 12-Year-Old Girls . . .

Boko Haram–which means “Western Education is Islamically Forbidden”–isn’t doing anything that Islam doesn’t prescribe by law. This is Islam, where women are property to be married off to Muslims or to be forcibly sold into sex slavery. What–you forgot that the “holy prophet” Mohammed married a six year old? Think she had any say in the matter?

Ya think Muslims are any different in the U.S.? Think again. I’ve described on this site several instances (including here and here) in which devout American Muslims kidnapped American girls, even their fellow Muslim American girls, and either sold them into slavery or rented them out. And this isn’t any different than what Muslims did to Christian and Animist women in Sudan for decades, gang-raping them and turning them into factories for future Islamic babies (their brothers, fathers, and sons were tortured and mass-murdered by the Muslims). And that was fostered and sanctioned by the Arab Muslim Sudanese government. Also, don’t forget the Muslim sex slave ring in Great Britain, one of many such Muslim rape-fests in the UK, which raped 16-year-old girls sold into sex slavery, some of them raped 90 times a week.

And yet, predictably, the media and celebrities are whitewashing Islam from the coverage. For example, every single Western media story says that Boko Haram means, “Western Education is Forbidden.” Um, no, it means Western Education is Forbidden BY ISLAM. Haram is an Arabic word, meaning “forbidden.” But it is an Islamic word that almost always refers to what is forbidden under Islam, Islamic law, or the shariah-based laws of at least 22 Islamic nations around the world. And, as we all know, Nigerians who use Arabic are using it because they are Muslims. English is the official language of Nigeria, and a host of other tribal and regional African languages are also spoken there, NOT Arabic.

Yesterday, on ABC’s yenta hag-fest, “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg went out of her way to tell us that “the Nigerians” and “a Nigerian group” kidnapped “Nigerian girls.” The words Christian and Muslim were deliberately absent from her lexicon, as they always are (she walked out on Bill O’Reilly when he said Muslims perpetrated 9/11; who were they–Wiccans from Fiji?!). When Baba Wawa responded that an Islamic terrorist group took the girls, Whoopi winced and tried to talk over her and obscure the issue, imploring the audience to tweet the Twitter hashtag #bringbackourgirls, part of a silly worldwide campaign by idiotic liberals who refuse to call a spade a spade and admit #Muslimskidnappedandrapedourgirls and #itsislamstupid. Today is Israel’s 66th Birthday. Happy Birthday to the Jewish State, and may it last forever against its Islamic terrorist neighbors from without and their supporters from within. On this occasion of Israel’s birthday, I wanted to share with you a confidential document I exclusively obtained and which can now be made public. The letter, written in 1948 by the late Rudolf G. Sonneborn (of Blessed Memory), an American patriot and proud Jew (and oil exec and businessman), details the work of the Materials for Palestine, Inc. a/k/a “The Sonneborn Institute”–a mysterious and secret network of mostly Americans (and some others) who worked to smuggle badly needed materials to the Jewish people who were fighting to establish a Jewish state in Israel. (In those days, “Palestinians” had names like David and Saul, and they were all Jews.) This heroic group was not exclusively Jewish, and, in fact, worked with gentile Americans, such as Frank Sinatra (whose purported son is anti-Israel freak Ronan Farrow), to get badly needed arms to the Haganah, the precursor to the Israeli Army. But one man, Sonneborn, is truly the unsung hero who, more than any other one person in America (and perhaps the world) helped Israel to become a state in the face of arms embargoes (including an American one) and the like. The group also helped smuggle tens of thousands of Jews “illegally” from the ashes of the Holocaust in Europe to Israel, in defiance of the pan-Arabist British.

I post Sonneborn’s confidential letter, below, which was sent to only a very few supporters who were sworn to secrecy. Note that the full details of what happened and how this brave group of Americans helped Israel are in the book, “The Pledge,” by Leonard Slater. If you have any interest in Israel whatsoever, the book is must reading and would make a great movie (one that Hollywood would never make today). You should also consider reading “The Time Has Come: The Role of Rudolf Sonneborn as Catalyst for Israel,” by Charles B. Sonneborn. It should be noted that Sonneborn’s group was separate and apart from the organized Jewish community, which had more courage at that time than it has today when it comes to helping the Jewish people and fighting the forces of Islamic oppression, but still not enough courage. Did you know that America’s Founding Fathers were terrorist “insurgents”? That’s not only the favorite line of the HAMAS co-conspirator CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations), but it’s now also the standard line from the AMC cable network.

AMC–the cable network known for the hit series “Mad Men”–has gone mad. Its new series, “Turn,” wants you to know that Islamic terrorists are no big deal because, hey, WE–yes, the Americans–were terrorists once, too. Like I said, this is HAMAS CAIR’s standard BS, and now it’s mainstream entertainment’s message, too.

“Turn,” which bills itself as a “new Revolutionary War spy drama” begins by describing the Founders who wanted to be independent from Great Britain as “insurgents.” The show declares, “Insurgents have declared war against the Crown.” Yup, we are the traitors, the terrorists. We are the bad guys–you know, just like all the Islamic bad guys around the world. We were like them once, is the message. Barf.

I have two thoughts on this guy, Lawrence Blatterfein, who went to court over his First Amendment right to name his bar, “Buck Foston” and won a $1.5 million judgment:

1) Our soldiers died for this?!

2) I wonder if he tried to name his bar, “Uck Fislam” (or “Uck Fobama”), would the First Amendment still prevail in court?

A New Brunswick club owner hit a homerun Wednesday when a federal jury ruled against the city of New Brunswick in his suit over the naming of a new sports bar and awarded him more than $1.5 million. Lawrence Blatterfein, a dedicated Yankees fan who owns other clubs in New Brunswick, wanted to open a sports bar in New Brunswick in 2011 and name it Buck Foston’s Road House, which is a twist on the sports rivalry between the Yankee’s and the Boston Red Sox.
