Now, Oprah’s fave “playwright,” Eve Ensler, has found yet another set of brave Americans to slime, “Vagina Monologues” style–our soldiers giving life and limb in Iraq.
USA Today reports that Ensler has a new “play”–“The Treatment”–on broadway attacking American soldiers “who torture.” Ensler’s smug, adopted son, Dylan McDermott–formerly of TV’s “The Practice”–stars as one of these “barbaric,” torturing American soldiers in Iraq.
Here’s the description of this horrid attack on America’s brave military men:

The anguish in question takes place on stage, in Ensler’s off-Broadway play, The Treatment (at Culture Project through Oct. 22). In it, the former star of TV’s The Practice plays a soldier haunted by committing torture who confides in a therapist.

Even the New York Times panned this crappy play. But that doesn’t bother the anti-American Ensler and McDermott:

Ensler doesn’t read reviews, good or bad.
“I really believe you just have to do the work,” she says. “I’m always interested in trauma and the impact of it on our souls.”
Besides, adds McDermott, “the intention is to make people feel uncomfortable and provoke a reaction.”
Playing a tortured soldier has taken a toll on McDermott. He looks at a photo of a veteran of the Iraq war every night to inspire him.

Predictably, Hanoi Jane just loves this sick broadway attack on our men:

On the play’s Sept. 12 opening night, Jane Fonda, one of Ensler’s friends, got up close and personal with McDermott. The actor had returned to his dressing room after the show when Fonda found him.
“I was still in my underwear, and she came running down and she was just hugging me. She was right in the first row,” McDermott says. “She was the very first person to come down.”

If attacking American soldiers while they are still risking their lives on a foreign battlefield is theater, theater is dead.
And by the way, earlier this year, Oprah Magazine gave us a “two-fer.” She enlisted Ensler to write a glowing BS piece on Cindy Sheehan, in which Ensler told us that Sheehan never attacked Jews or Israel (when she, in fact, did). What’s the proof?: That’s easy. Cindy Sheehan told her so.

Yet another “random,” “crazy,” “lone” Muslim shot and killed an Aurora, Colorado police detective last month, according to a report, today, from CBS4 Denver:

Brian Allen Washington, 27, told arriving officers, “I shot him,” referring to Det. Michael Thomas. . . .

Washington also reportedly told officers, “It’s OK, I’m federal, I’m with the nation.”
It is unclear whether Washington was referring to the Nation of Islam. . . .
Washington faces eight counts, including two charges of first-degree murder in connection with the death of Thomas.
Washington also faces several charges in Denver, including attempted first-degree murder, illegal discharge of a firearm and menacing, for allegedly shooting at a 55-year-old woman who was in her car stopped at an intersection Sept. 18.
Two days after that shooting, Thomas was shot and killed while he waited at a stoplight on Peoria Street at Montview Boulevard.
Thomas, 52, was 24-year veteran of the Aurora Police Department. . . .
[Washington’s mother] said her son had been talking about the Quran, saying he was God and that he wanted “to go to Iran to become Muslim and become president.”
The information in the affidavit supports what police said in the days after the shooting: that Washington did not know Thomas and that he randomly picked him and the woman he is suspected of shooting at.

But, it had nothing to do with the “Relgion of Peace,” right?

Former Attorney General John Ashcroft has a new book out, today, “Never Again: Securing America and Restoring Justice.” He began his media tour last night, on FOX News Channel’s “O’Reilly Factor,” claiming he did so much to protect America from terrorists.
But the only thing I can never forget (and hope is “never again”) is how much John Ashcroft did to make us less safe from terrorists by crippling the U.S. Customs Service and U.S. Secret Service investigations into terrorist money-laundering. And how he made us less safe by urging his Justice Department to do whatever it took to overturn convictions against the Detroit terror cell and indict the brave prosecutor, Richard Convertino, who obtained the convictions. And he established preferences in the Justice Department for those who fit the profile of the 9/11 hijackers to get a special set of justice before the rest of us.

Skip this Hypocritical Ashcroft Book
He talks a great game about how tough he was. But it’s just that–talk. If anyone did more to make America less secure and destroy justice, it was John Ashcroft.
That’s why the thought of Ashcroft writing such a book is a joke. And why we recommend skipping the blowhard pages of this phony. We look forward to the day the book goes to the bargain bin.
Here’s what Ashcroft did do:
* Ended most terrorism money-laundering investigations, allowing terrorists to easily fund attacks here and abroad.
Ashcroft took all terrorism investigations away from the Department of Homeland Security, rendering it an extremely neutered entity, and shutting down successful investigations into terrorism money laundering.
On May 13, 2003, after months of pressuring then-Homeland Security Chief Tom Ridge, Ashcroft obtained Ridge’s signature on a “Memorandum of Agreement Between The Department of Justice and The Department of Homeland Security Concerning Terrorist Financing Investigations. The Agreement took all of those investigations away from the U.S. Customs Service Office of Investigations (then morphing into ICE-Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and the U.S. Secret Service and gave them to the most incompetent bloated federal law enforcement agency, the FBI. That, despite the fact that the FBI consistently has the lowest conviction rate among federal law enforcement agencies, and an abysmal record in capturing and convicting terrorists.
I’ve been a frequent critic of ICE Director of Investigations . But, before ICE, she headed Operation Greenquest, the Customs operation which successfully investigated and stopped a lot of the terrorist money-laundering trail. Not cowed by political correctness, Forman’s Greenquest was not only very successful, her agents investigated and raided–without apology to Islamists–several prominent Muslim charities. She has a lot to be proud of in her leadership of Greenquest.
Fed up FBI agents whom I know cheered when Customs Agents raided and shut down charities the FBI agents were investigating but were not allowed to pursue because of the pervasive do-nothing, political correctness attitudes that dominate their agency. Several agents told me they were happy Customs Agents did what they were not allowed to do at the FBI.
Forman-Friedman fought to keep the Greenquest program, but lost out to the power that Ashcroft exercised at the Bush White House. He took the program away and shut it down. Then-Secret Service chief W. Ralph Basham (now head of Customs and Border Protection) was equally miffed. On May 20, 2003, he wrote a classified memo to Tom Ridge protesting the agreement:

I am convinced that this Agreement unnecessarily and inexplicably alters the Secret Service’s historic criminal investigative mission. The Agreement is contradictory to the Secret Service’s explicit statutory mandate to prevent and investigate financial crimes and provides an unworkable framework for current and future financial crime investigations. . . . The Agreement also presents a multitude of practical problems that would severely jeopardize thousands of ongoing investigations and could compromise the federal government’s ability to effectively prevent future attacks against our financial and critical infrastructures.

Islamic terrorists and money-launderers engage in significant amounts of document, credit-card, bank, and other fraud, historically under the jurisdiction of the Secret Service. But since Ashcroft’s agreement, all of those such investigations involving terrorists were taken away from the Service. The FBI has done little in this area in the three years since.
Why did Ashcroft take the terror-funding investigative mandate away from agencies who did a great job in pursuing it? Perhaps the fact that Customs and Secret Service Agents showed up his FBI as emasculated in the War on Terror had something to do with it. To date, each agency, alone, confiscated more money related to terrorism than the FBI ever has.
Since then, the FBI has done scant little to stop terrorist money-laundering that Customs historically pounced upon, and in fact, evidence points to the fact that terrorist money-laundering to fund attacks has expanded, unchecked by withering FBI agents. ICE Agents are forbidden in many cases from pursuing money-laundering cases, because superiors tell them that terror-related cases will be scooped up from them by the FBI where they will languish forever.

* Let Islamic terrorists go free, persecuted the man who successfully convicted them, and lost most important terror cases.
In 2003, Assistant U.S. Attorney obtained successful convictions of several Islamic terrorists. They apparently planned to blow up several American sites, including in Las Vegas, and the U.S. air base in Incirlik, Turkey, from which U.S. and Israeli F-16s and AWACS planes take off.
Ashcroft’s top terrorism officials, including Barry Sabin, got in Convertino’s way, every step of the way. They really didn’t want the terrorists prosecuted or for them to be convicted. Their actions indicate that, including Ashcroft’s personal violation of a court-ordered gag on the case. They gave Convertino no help and breathed down his neck.
When he convicted the terrorists, despite their obstacles, Ashcroft and company couldn’t handle it. Then-U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Collins was jealous, as were other Justice Department officials. So, they began a witch hunt, looking for information to overturn the case. They managed to find it and assaulted Convertino in the press, sabotaging the verdicts. Then, the USDOJ, in unprecedented moves, asked the judge to overturn the verdicts and indicted Convertino in the flimsiest of cases.
Ashcroft’s Justice Department also lost most other important terrorism cases on his watch, and those that had been developed on his watch, including the Sami Al-Arian case, the Sami Omar Al-Hussayen case, etc., etc., etc. Again, he had incompetent individuals, like Barry Sabin, running his counterterrorism operations.
* Instituted a Justice Department program that gives Muslims and Arabs more rights than all other Americans.
John Ashcroft is one of the people most instrumental in empowering extremist Muslims in America after 9/11. He did this by implementing “Initiative to Combat Post-9/11 Discriminatory Backlash,” a Justice “civil rights” program under which the most benign statements about Muslims in e-mails and online were prosecuted as hate-crimes. Since Ashcroft implemented this program, the Justice Department is clear that overzealously prosecuting free speech against Muslims is more important than going after terrorists, and the record bears that out. There are far more indictments and convictions under this absurd program than there are of terrorists.

Since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, members of these groups, and those perceived to be members of these groups, have been the victims of increased numbers of bias-related assaults, threats, vandalism and arson. Reducing the incidence of such attacks, and ensuring that the perpetrators are brought to justice, is a Civil Rights Division priority. The Division also has placed a priority on cases involving discrimination against Arab, Sikh, Muslim, and South-Asian Americans in employment, housing, education, access to public accommodations and facilities, and other areas within the Civil Rights Division’s jurisdiction.

The FBI has since harassed Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs over comments left on his blog. Ashcroft’s Justice Dept. arrested and indicted Michael Bratisax, a quadriplegic veteran in a wheelchair. His crime: He sent e-mails against Islam to extremist Imam Hassan Qazwini after Nicholas Berg was beheaded. Qazwini didn’t see the e-mails as threats, because he responded to them and engaged Bratisax in a discussion. Still, Ashcroft’s Justice Department sought jailtime for the wheelchair-bound man. Yes, because of Ashcroft, free speech for non-Muslims is dead in America.
But put the shoe on the other foot, and . . . nothing. I know. I got serious death threats from Muslims beginning in 2003. I reported them to the FBI and Justice Department. And I still haven’t seen a thing done to any of them. So what was that about Congress not establishing or preferring a national religion? Seems that part of the Constitution is dead, too. Thanks to John Ashcroft.
Most of this continues under Attorney General Gonzalez. But this is John Ashcroft’s unsung legacy. This is what we should “Never Again” about John Ashcroft. Don’t buy his phony book.

But we just couldn’t resist this: Ensler is now a self-style Vagina Homeland Security expert, and she’s written an absurd new book about her own unique take on Homeland Security and terrorism–ie., that we shouldn’t pursue security against terrorists because “we are dividing the world into ‘us’ and ‘them'”–like Bin Laden and 19 hijackers didn’t do that. She feels sorry for the Muslim extremist women and compares “their” terror with the “terrorism” of her childhood and violent father.
Puh-leeze. Somebody make a law that if your passport has too many stamps from Psychobabble-onia, you can’t come back to the States.

Predictably, HOprah’s October 2006 issue of “O” Magazine has Ensler’s ludicrous “book,” “Insecure at Last: Losing it in Our Secuirty Obsessed World,” on it’s reading list, the “O Reading Room.” Here’s an excerpt from Oprah’s dumb mag:

Playwright Eve Ensler worries that our current obsession with security is undermining our humanity. In our fear, we abandon empathy and destroy community, dividing the world into “us” and them”; in spuruit of security, we become more insecure. Ensler has been traveling the glove, listening to the stories of women for whom the illusion of safety has been shattered forever: the displaced mothers of Kosovo [DS: extremist Muslims now infested by Al-Qaeda, who drove out most Christians; hardly displaced; what about the displaced Serbian mothers who used to live in what is now “Kosovo”?] . . . . She also travels inward to the terror of her own childhood and the deals she made with her violent father–a fasle sense of security in exchange for her soul. In [the book], Ensler convinces us that the serenity we week has always resided in our stories and in our bodies and we find joy by giving what we need the most. This brave, articulate, chilling, and inspiring howl for change might be the most important book you read all year.

Somehow, we doubt that. Homeland Security and Counterterrorism from the inner-child of the Vagina Monologues–odds are against that working to keep anyone safe, not even the mind-addled Oprah cult members. As for dividing “us” and “them,” why doesn’t she try to show “The Vagina Monologues” to one of her beloved Islamist countries? Then she’ll really see the division of “us” and “them,” and we’ll see a semi-legit reason for “why they hate us.”

Remember actress Sigourney Weaver? Her career was big in the ’80s, and by now, she’s basically a has-been desperate to be noticed.
So desperate in fact that Weaver has chosen to attack America’s men and compare them to Islamic fundamentalists.
In USA Weekend, Weaver says she tells her poor daughter Charlotte:

When I read about these guys in the Middle East who don’t want their wives and daughters to go to school, I think there’s some sort of bizarre kinship with American men who don’t want a woman president.

Uh, actually, that would be American women who don’t want a woman to be President. We do have at least half the vote, and we’ve never picked one (Thank G-d). And I, for one, would never vote for the female choices presented thus far. Don’t look for that to change.
Good to note that Weaver hates American men so much, she’s willing to compare them to Osama and his buds. Not that American men would go see her latest film she’s pimping, “Infamous” (she has only a tiny role, now that she’s a hag). I’ve seen it, and it’s an avoid-at-all-costs piece of garbage if there ever was one. Straight American men wouldn’t be caught dead in yet another movie celebrating bizarre gay writer Truman Capote. I mean, how many movies featuring weird gay men making out in Cowboyland can one stand?
Never liked Weaver, anyway. She’s one of those snooty actresses (redundant) who thinks she’s all that because of her privileged prep school, Ivy League background. Her name isn’t even Sigourney–it was Susan, but she changed it to the more pretentious first name she has now. Plus, I’ll never forget her starring role in that cockamamie, early ’80s, anti-Semitic movie, “Eyewitness,” in which Jews from America and Israel pay off and kill Vietnamese (and try to kill a Vietnam Vet janitor) to get Jews out of the Soviet Union. Like that ever happened.

While liberal Democrats snicker over Florida Congressman Mark Foley’s sex scandal–his graphic e-mails with underage pages, they really need to look at their own side of the aisle in Congress.
Foley resigned, as he should have, and Republican’s called for an investigation. Now, the libs are screaming and yelling about “What did the GOP know and when did they know it.” But the fact is that whenever GOP leadership learns of a likely illegal sex scandal involving their members, they’ve always called for his (there have not yet been any “hers,” but someday there will be) resignation.

I know this first-hand. When I was in high school and college, I worked as an intern on Capitol Hill for three Republican Congressman–Mark Siljander of Michigan, Phil Crane of Illinois, and Donald E. “Buz” Lukens of Ohio. During my junior year of college, just after I worked for Lukens, he was caught in a sex scandal, broken by tabloid show “A Current Affair.” Lukens was blackmailed on tape (all set up and arranged by the FOX show) by a teen-age prostitute and her mother, who was apparently her pimp and “marketed” her as “of legal age.” Lukens was apparently one of their “customers.”
It gave new meaning to the Christmas cards he sent me that said “Debbie, We hardly knew ye.” It was the other way around, apparently. I hardly knew him. Still, I felt bad for him–it was a sleazy situation created in part by a sleazy, sick pimp mother (to whom nothing happened) and a sleazy TV show. Buz Lukens was always nice to me (no, not in that way) and all of those who worked for him. And I saw him lose everything. He lost his Congressional seat, the scant money he had, was forced to take AIDS tests, and had to attend sex offender education. He lost everything.
Of note is how Republicans treated the situation. The House GOP leadership immediately called for an ethics investigation and Lukens’ resignation. When Lukens refused, GOP leadership recruited a primary opponent whom they supported against Lukens. The man, John Boehner, won–and, as a Congressman and GOP Majority Leader, now in his district.
Contrast his and Mark Foley’s treatment with the way Dems treated Congressman Barney Frank, a gay, far-left Massachusetts Democrat. In 1985, he engaged the “services” of gay prostitute Stephen Gobie, who advertised in the Washington Gay Blade that he had a “hot bottom.” Soon Gobie was Frank’s live-in boyfriend, and Frank was soliciting the House clerk to clear Gobie’s many traffic tickets. And Gobie was running his prostitution business, clear as the day, out of Frank’s Washington, DC residence.
And there’s more. According to The Boston Globe:

He [Frank] and Gobie carried on a clandestine affair, during which time Frank hired Gobie as a driver despite knowing Gobie was on probation for drug possession and for possession of child pornography. Frank used his House privileges to fix Gobie’s parking tickets. He wrote a memo trying to clear Gobie from probation that was disingenuous at best and an outright deception at worst.

So what happened to Frank for illegally hiring a prostitute, for fixing that prostitute’s tickets, for trying to fix the guy’s probation, and for allowing the prostitute to run his “business” out of Frank’s Congressional residence? Nada. Nothing.
And guess who was in charge of the House of Reps. then? Hint: It wasn’t the GOP. And guess what they did about it? Hint: NOTHING. And guess what else? No-one asked, “What did the Democrats know and when did they know it?” By the way, they never called for an ethics investigation of Frank. The GOP did, but since they didn’t run Congress then, nothing happened. And there were never any calls for his resignation by the leadership of his party. None.
The e-mails by Mark Foley are outrageous and unacceptable. He should have been ousted, as he was. There is no indication that he ever went beyond e-mails with House pages or that Republican leadership knew of the more explicit e-mails, just the more benign, but suspicious ones. But he is gone.
And all the Republican sex offenders are gone–ousted by their own party’s leadership. But Barney Frank is still there. And he’s celebrated by Democratic Party leaders. Tells us all we need to know.

In observance of the Jewish fast day of Yom Kippur, I will be out of blog commission on Monday. Yom Kippur is one of the holiest Jewish holidays, during which we fast and pray for about 25 hours to ask G-d for a good year. No food, drink, shower, TV/radio, phone, etc. the whole day, which is mostly spent at synagogue. The idea is that you are removing yourself from worldly concerns and focusing on spiritual ones, most importantly repentance for your sins.
It starts just before sundown, tonight, and ends after dark tomorrow (Monday) night, with one sound of the shofar (ram’s horn–see explanation of shofar ).
I will try to put up a few things, today. But, in any event, G-d-willing, I will be back on Tuesday morning with new stuff. To my Jewish friends and readers, have an easy fast and a great year. To everyone, see you very, very soon.

We’ve been writing about the immigration enforcement troubles in Arizona ( and ). Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Special Agent in Charge of Phoenix Roberto Medina refused to deport aliens capture in Maricopa County by Sheriff Joe Arpaio and my friend, Prosecutor Andrew Thomas. They and Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano complained to Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff a/k/a Mr. Burns, about Medina, because ICE chieftess, a/k/a The ICE Princess, was (and is) too clueless to do anything about him.
So Medina was finally deposed, at Chertoff’s behest. We know that our own least (and Islamists’ most) favorite ICE Special Agent in Charge, a/k/a Abu Moskowitz was jockeying for the Phoenix ICE job. And we’d heard (and were hoping) he’d get it. There are a few less Islamic extremists he could befriend and help in Phoenix than here in the heart of Islamic America, Southeastern Michigan, as he’s been doing.

Unfortunately for us, Abu Moskowitz is still here–and probably pretty upset about it. He did not get the job. We found out on Monday that a classy, experienced ICE agent, Alonzo Pena, will now be the nation’s top immigration enforcement official in Phoenix, and oversee much of the illegal alien problem in Arizona. That is good news for Arizonans who are fed up.
We’ve heard so many great things about Mr. Pena. We believe he will be able to work with local law enforcement and more adequately handle Maricopa County’s burgeoning illegal alien problem.
Here are what some ICE agents we respect have to say about Pena and his abilities to handle the illegal alien emergency infesting Arizona:

Pena is a real good guy . . . . He’ll be good for Phoenix, much more laid back and experienced as an agent and manager than Medina, this should end their problems with the State, I’d think; Pena will work out a deal.

Unfortunately, Mr. Medina is now the Special Agent in Charge in El Paso, Texas, another place where he will be a disaster.
And more bad news: Sources inside ICE tell us that Abu Moskowitz–who is the exact opposite of these sentiments regarding Pena, above–is still in the running for some sort of plum position at ICE headquarters. We hope it’s some sort of budget or pencil-pushing job, where he will be less of an unchecked danger to our country and our security.
We were told by ICE sources that his boss, ICE Director of Investigations a/k/a “Peppermint Patty” had a meeting about why ICE morale is so bad among rank and file agents. She brought in a handful of Special Agents in Charge (4 of them) to discuss the not-so-enigmatic matter, among them Abu Moskowitz. Why ask a question like that when two of the reasons–Peppermint Patty and Abu Moskowitz–are staring each other and the rest of attendees in the face? Seems to us a mirror was in order.
She should have brought us in. We could tell her, without worrying about getting on her bad list. We’re already there. And we don’t care. But we do care about stopping America’s illegal alien problem, apparently more so than Peppermint Patty or Abu M.
Good news (Arizona) and bad news (El Paso) for immigration enforcement at the Southern border. Bad news at the Northern Border (Michigan).

You need not read the contents of the letter, just the title summing it up (which consists of a statement taken from the letter):

What happens when an Islamist charity funding terrorists is raided by the FBI right before the big giving season of Ramadan?
The charity’s dishonest supporters’ feed fake news stories to the media alleging the charity has been cleared by the FBI. And local news media eagerly gobble it up, with the national news media not far behind.
Take (close bud of fed immigration official ) and his buddies at the Southfield, Michigan-based charity that is the largest Islamic charity in the U.S. that is still open . . . for now. Almost 2 weeks ago, the charity was for apparently funding terrorists. The charity has close ties to HAMAS and Al-Qaeda and openly gave millions to HAMAS’ Jordanian outfit. The FBI investigation is ongoing.

But “former” Islamic terrorist Hamad and his buddies at LIFE aren’t letting facts stop them. They are funneling fake stories to the media that the charity has been cleared. As late as yesterday, sourced say Hamad phoned a local Detroit area reporter to tell the reporter the Islamic charity was completely cleared by the FBI. Hamad, the sources say, was trying to get reporters to print the phony story. But the story was a lie.
on Tuesday, but now the fake news reporting has grown to epic proportions. And so has the moronism of local news editors and producers. Welcome to Detroit, where if jihadist propagandists say something, it’s reported as the gospel by all the media. They’ve been co-opted.
Apparently, though, one Detroit TV station took the bait and didn’t do any investigating. They just ran with the story, and other media outlets–also too lazy to do reporting–also ran with it. If terrorist Imad Hamad–who was engaged in a sham marriage to fraudulently obtain a green card–said it, it must be true. Right?
On Tuesday morning, Detroit’s WDIV-TV/Channel 4 ran Hamad’s phony story on its ClickonDetroit.com website. Website editor Barb Roethler, a member of Channel 4, Detroit’s NBC affiliate’s newsteam, did not seem to think that she should call FBI Michigan spokesman, Dawn Clenney, to confirm. No. Why bother checking the facts. Imad Hamad and the LIFE gang funding terrorists would never lie, would they? So she ran with it, posted it on the site, and left work for a few days.
Then, MSNBC picked it the phony story and ran it on its site, because if its affiliate in Detroit printed it as the truth, then it must be so.
Then, Imad Hamad and his buddies at the ADC (falsely named American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee) sent out an e-mail citing the fake story they created as confirmation of their fake story, sending out the MSNBC link to other news outlets.
That night, Detroit’s FOX News owned and operated WJBK/FOX 2 News ran with the story toward the beginning of its primetime newscast, with Anchor Monica Gayle telling viewers that LIFE was cleared of all ties to terrorists by the FBI, “who concluded their investigation” (the same investigation that actually has just begun). I called FOX 2 News, where Executive Producer Debra Dubicki stated that she put the story on the news, “because ADC sent us an e-mail.” I asked this moron if she believes everything she gets in an e-mail. She claimed she did not. But the proof is in the pudding . . . and the newscast containing a fake story.
The problem with FOX 2 News is the news operation’s cozy and inappropriate relationship with Hamad and ADC. Two anchors, Lee Thomas and Fanchon Stinger, hosted awards ceremonies for ADC. Ironically, Stinger hosted an ADC Martin Luther King, Jr. essay contest, for which Blacks were not eligible. When I spoke with Stinger, a complete airhead, she didn’t seem to think there was a problem that, at the time, Hamad and ADC were boycotting banks that sponsored a pro-Israel event. Even though it was a headline all over Detroit papers, she denied it was happening. And she wasn’t bothered by ADC’s support for Hezbollah and HAMAS. She enjoyed being the token Black hosting an event for a group that supports the Arab oppression of Black Muslims and Christians in the Sudan (now, all of those Christians are dead).
The day after Hamad’s phony story ran on FOX 2 News, News Director Dana Hahn, claimed that she was going to hold a meeting to find out why the fake story ran, and that “we never run e-mails as news when they weren’t verified.” Uh-huh. She also claimed that her anchors would no longer host events with ADC. We’ll see.
Back to the morons at Detroit’s NBC affiliate, WDIV, who caused the fake story. They continued to run the phony story on their website. I called them to ask why. WDIV news assignment editor, Matt Triplett, told me that since they removed the fake story from their homepage and search engine, it did not matter that the completely fake story was still up on their site and accessible. WDIV website editor Christina Ulaj insisted on the same thing, that they could not take the fake story down. Anyone with a website knows that’s not the case. After 20 minutes of arguing with these two brain-dead people who run one of Detroit’s major TV news operations, I finally got them to take the fake story down.
WDIV Assistant News Director Bob Ellis told me he’d contact MSNBC to have the fake story his news department created taken down from the MSNBC website. He didn’t do so. The fake story is still there and still attributed to WDIV and its Click on Detroit website. But, by gosh, Bob Ellis is sticking by the morons in his news department. Ain’t loyalty grand?
Bob and I were on the high school newspaper and in journalism class together, but apparently the part about checking the facts and notifying others that your story is false is now lost on him. Instead, he asked me, “Why is this story so important to you?” The question should be to his news department, “Why is this disinformation so important for you to spread on behalf of Islamists?” Or, “Why is this fake story so important to you that your incompetent news staff couldn’t make a single fricking phone call to the FBI press office to confirm its veracity before rushing to post it?”
Imad Hamad and the jihadists in Detroit got what they wanted: fake stories spread around America and locally that their terror-supporting charity was cleared (when it was not). All because local news personnel are too lazy to check facts and too eager to please their friendly, local Islamists.
Clearly, the Detroit media–in the heart of Islamic America–is co-opted by Islamists, to the point where you cannot believe anything they report. But is this phenomenon coming soon to your local TV news?
