It Never Ends: “Religion of Peace” Chick Threatens to Blow Me (& All Americans, Jews) Up

By
So, what was that about “lone,” “few” anti-Semites in the Islamic Community? Maybe we should call it the Religion of Loners, since there are so many lone, violent anti-Semites amongst them–and their leadership does nothing to stop it. Here’s the latest “Religion of Peace” (RoP) e-mail. I get ones like this every single day, including death threats like this:

Your a racist profiler and a jew. You need to stop making up lies you fuckin whore. Someone ought to throw your lying ass in jail and make suffer you fucking liar. All you bitches are going to burn once the arabs blow the fuck up of all you ass holes.

This chick, Rola Khalil, will likely have kids or has them already–and will raise them to think the same. If there is anyone who doesn’t realize we are, yet again, in pre-Holocaust times (only this time the Christians will join the Jews), get a clue. This letter is not the exception. It’s the conventional RoP sentiment.

Just a “Crazy” Lady? Part 2: More Info About Diverted Heathrow/US Flight Raises Serious Questions; Pakistani Loyalties, Anti-American Writing

By
****UPDATE: OOPS! Forgot to mention that Catherine Mayo also wrote anti-American, anti-Bush articles in The Daily Times of Pakistan. But no, she’s just a “crazy” woman without an agenda. Right? Thanks to The Free Pioneer for reminding me and for digging up this Daily Times piece by her. ****
Today, about the diverted London Heathrow to Washington flight, which was diverted to Boston–because of the behavior of an allegedly “crazy” woman, Catherine C. Mayo. Now, there are new questions, as details of the woman’s Pakistani ties come to light. A Paki pen pal on the no-fly list, banned from the U.S.–sounds like a lot more than a mere “crazy” lady.
One question we raised is now answered, and that is how the woman got so many prohibited items on the plane. The woman was smart enough to evade screening by flying into Heathrow on a connecting flight.

Here is an amalgamation of comments by some federal agents, followed by parts of the disturbing press account on which they are commenting:

She has a long-time friend in Pakistan, traveled there often. Perhaps, she was recruited. She tried to draw out the Federal Air Marshal and failed. She did draw out the Captain (from the cockpit)–thought that was not supposed to happen. She had all the test material in her bag–all the banned items she managed to get on the plane. She spoke of building a device.
Al-Qaeda has been trying to recruit WASP types who don’t “look Muslim” for some time and has been trying to use females. She used a connecting flight to stay behind screening (which terrorist hijackers normally do to evade detection). She lands in the UK and may have slept in Heathrow amid the masses of confused passengers, waiting for flights backed up due to the cancellations–hiding in plain sight. Amazing how she would have at least one of every banned item coming out of a flight from Pakistan through the UK to DC. This sends a message from Al-Qaeda that, “We can still get you . . . .” And she’s a U.S. citizen to boot. Just divert attention away from the probe, or pull out the Federal Air Marshals by acting psycho.

And, by the way, there was an illegal alien on board, too.
Here are excerpts from the AP story on which the above comments were made:

A woman on a trans-Atlantic flight diverted to Boston for security concerns passed several notes to crew members, urinated on the cabin floor and made comments the crew believed were references to al-Qaida and the Sept. 11 attacks, according to an affidavit filed Thursday.
Catherine C. Mayo, 59, of Braintree, Vt., appeared in federal court Thursday on a charge of interfering with a flight crew on United 923 as it flew from London to Washington, D.C., Wednesday. . . .
Mayo’s son, Josh, 31, described his mother as a peace activist and said she had been in Pakistan since March. She traveled there often since making a pen pal prior to Sept. 11, 2001, he said. The pen pal hasn’t been allowed to visit the U.S., he added. . . .
Mayo’s passport indicates she left Pakistan and entered the United Kingdom on Tuesday, according to the affidavit by FBI Special Agent Daniel Choldin filed in U.S. District Court in Boston. . . .
In the affidavit, Choldin says flight attendants noticed Mayo about 90 minutes into the flight because she was pushing against the aircraft bulkhead. When the attendant told her to return to her seat, Mayo said she wanted to speak to an air marshal and made statements about knowing that people wanted to see what was in her bag.
FBI spokeswoman Gail Marcinkiewicz confirmed Thursday that authorities found a screwdriver and an unspecified number of cigarette lighters in her bag, items that are banned under new security regulations. Marcinkiewicz also confirmed that matches were found in Mayo’s bag.
She also had a bottle of water, which did not appear to be supplied by the flight crew. It wasn’t clear how the items made it through airport security, which has been significantly tightened since the terror plot arrests.
Later during the flight, according to the affidavit, Mayo asked a flight attendant: “Is this a training flight for United Flight 93?” The flight attendant didn’t know if she made a mistake because the flight was actually Flight 923, or if she was referring to Flight 93, the hijacked plane that crashed in Pennsylvania on Sept. 11. . . .
She also wrote in a note and said to flight attendants that she had been in a country illegally, and later said she had photographs of Pakistan.
“She stated that the photographs would be awful, and she indicated that they related to the people that she had been with in the mountains of Pakistan,” the affidavit said.
Flight attendants summoned the captain, who spoke to Mayo. During the conversation, she made reference to there being “six steps to building some unspecified thing.”
“She made reference to being with people associated with two words. . . . The captain and purser both believed that she was referring to al-Qaida, Choldin wrote.

Then there’s this from the Boston Globe on the illegal alien on board:

Governor Mitt Romney said another woman on the flight was also taken into custody for “immigration issues.”

To review the :
* There were no Air Marshals on board. Why?
* Why did she need a remote car alarm trigger on a plane? Answer: It can be used as a bomb component.
* Why did Federal spokespeople lie and say she did not have the many prohibited items on board when alerts to Federal Air Marshals and Customs and Border Protection agents says she did, indeed?
* If it’s just a case of a “crazy” lady, why did they empty all luggage onto the tarmac and search it with dogs, etc?
New question:
* Just a “crazy” lady? Then why did they immediately indict her and take her to court to be arraigned? They never do that with other “crazies” on flights.
There’s apparently more to this story than we’ve been told. Was this a dry run of some sort? You never know.
For a “crazy” lady, she got away with a lot and surely tested the system.

Amen, Michael Smerconish: Great Column on Profiling–“Skip the Grannies”

By
Well before I started doing weekly movie reviews on Michael Smerconish’s top-rated Philadelphia morning radio show on WPHT, I was a fan of his columns.
Michael’s column in today’s Philadelphia Daily News, “Skip the Grannies: The Case for Airport Profiling,” is excellent.
Here’s an excerpt:

Profiling is street smarts by any other name. It’s the common-sensical recognition that while America is not threatened by an entire community, she is under siege by a certain element of an identifiable group, and law enforcement needs to target its resources accordingly.

Michael Smerconish

The failure to profile is a dereliction of duty on the part of an administration that has otherwise been willing to incur the wrath of civil libertarians as it aggressively fights the war on terror.
Only last week, in the aftermath of the thwarted attack emanating from the U.K., did the president appear to take a step in the direction of profiling when at last, he acknowledged with specificity those who threaten our survival:
“This nation is at war with Islamic fascists who will use any means to destroy those of us who love freedom.”
Hopefully now there will be a long overdue confrontation of the Emperor Has No Clothes charade whereby law enforcement is mandated to ignore the naked barbarism of radical Islam. The arrest of two dozen in connection with the latest, failed plan should change that. After all, they are the same-old, same-old. I refer to Messrs. Ali, Ali, Ali, Hussain, Hussain, Hussain, Islam, Kayani, Khan, Khan, Kha-tib, Patel, Rauf, Saddique, Sarwar, Savant, Tariq, Uddin and Zaman. To a person they are Muslim men.
Where some would highlight the slight differences among them–class, upbringing and whether they were raised Muslim or converted to Islam–I see the commonalities. Equally significant is who they are not.
They are not Americans. They are not urban blacks. They are not suburban whites. They are not Jews. They are not Hispanics. They are not members of the U.S. military, women, senior citizens or young kids. At a minimum, it is time to profile by exclusion.

Read the whole thing.
He has a special expertise on this topic because he wrote an entire tome on the topic, “Flying Blind: How Political Correctness Continues to Compromise Airline Safety Post 9/11.” Check out Michael’s other book: “Muzzled: From T-Ball to Terrorism–True Stories that Should Be FictionMichael’s site/blog.

Just a “Crazy” Lady?: New Info About Diverted Heathrow/US Flight; No Air Marshals Aboard, Items Eluded Security

By
****UPDATE: Confirmed that there was no Federal Air Marshal on the diverted flight. Federal Air Marshals say the man the press reported as being an FAM was merely an applicant to become an FAM and it is unknown if he has even been accepted. ****
Here is information I obtained that was provided to Federal Air Marshals, regarding yesterday’s diverted London-to-Washington flight, featuring the “disturbed” woman–hardly a ringing endorsement of airport passenger screening at London Heathrow Airport, less than a week after Operation Bojinka 2 was foiled (she can take screwdrivers, but no lipstick for us):

The passenger in question had these possessions on her person according to CounterTerrorist Intel:
Per CBP/NTC [Customs & Border Protection/National Targeting Center], the subject involved in the incident that occurred onboard UA 923 LHR-IAD [Dulles International Airport] was found with several objects on her person when she was taken off the aircraft in BOS [Boston]:
* 4 Lighters
* Matches
* Petroleum Jelly
* 6-inch screwdriver
* Chapstick
* Car alarm remote

It shows that screening of passengers and their belongings is not exactly on par at London Heathrow. And certainly not as strict as the mainstream media is claiming to be. If she could get these on board, so could anyone else.
So much for George Naccara, federal security director for the Transportation Security Administration for Massachusetts Airports, who yesterday, told AP, she wasn’t carrying any of these items (and flat out lied), when, in fact, she was:

An airport spokesman previously said the woman was carrying Vaseline, a screw driver and matches, but backed off the statement, and Naccara said it wasn’t true.
“I don’t know what she had on board with her, but we have been told she did not have a screw driver, she did not have any liquids such as vaseline, and any notebook she may have had, it did not contain an al-Qaida reference,” Naccara said. “This is still playing out, of course.”
“There was speculation in the beginning of all those items, but those have been proven untrue,” he said.

Uh-huh.

Just Checking?: All Luggage from “Crazy” Lady Flight

Inspected @ Boston Logan Airport Tarmac

Since he lied about what she was carrying, did TSA’s Naccara lie about the note, too? Just asking. And why–if she was just a crazy lady–did they line up passenger’s luggage on the tarmac at Boston Logan Airport and inspect each piece. I mean, that’s usually what you do when it’s just a crazy lady and not an Islamic terrorist threat. Right?
The woman apparently originated from somewhere other than the UK and they are apparently still trying to ascertain what the deal was.
While media reports claimed there were Federal Air Marshals on the flight, Federal Air Marshals say there were no Federal Air Marshals on the flight–which is interesting considering the mass plot regarding flights from Britain to the U.S., last week. Federal Air Marshals are wondering why there were no Federal Air Marshals on a passenger-heavy transcontinental U.K. run just a few days after the “giant wake-up call” in London.

NSA-Opposing Judge Engaged in Misconduct

By
I figured Judge Anna Diggs Taylor, a 73-year-old Jimmy Carter appointee, would have the chutzpah to overturn the NSA wiretaps and rule in favor of the ACLU and its raft of Islamist, America-hating plaintiffs. And she did not disappoint my low expectations of her.
She seems to hate America and fairness almost as much as . She certainly hates a fair, impartial Judiciary. It’s not just that she’s a shameless liberal who always allows her politics to enter into her decisions. It’s that she’s so shameless she improperly interferes with cases that are not even hers.

Judge Anna Diggs Taylor:

Judge Ruled Against NSA Security Measures, Engaged in Improper Behavior

One of those things is the fact that she tried to take the University of Michigan Affirmative Action challenges away from Judge Bernard Friedman, a judge that she feared would overturn the case. He was randomly drawn as the judge, and she attempted to get the case assigned away. Whoever heard of a sitting Federal Judge engaging in judge shopping? Who knows how many other cases there are like that in which she interfered?
Diggs Taylor should have been impeached and removed from the bench for that offense. But, instead, nothing happened to her.
Given her slavish interference to stop a fellow judge from overturning an affirmative action case, is it any surprise she did not hesitate to stop a vital national security program?
No, it’s no surprise. It’s just sour icing on the rancid cake. The ACLU drew the best judge possible. Unlike her, Judge Bernard Friedman–the highly ethical, conservative judge from whom she tried to transfer away the affirmative action case–doesn’t have her gutter “ethics” and didn’t try to transfer this important case about America’s safety away from her.
Pity. whose side she took.
Just one of the many times when the phrase “Your Honor” simply doesn’t hold water. There’s little honor with Judge Diggs Taylor.

Darwin Award of the Day: Dumb PETA Members Change Their Names . . . Again

By
The only legitimate PETA in this world is People Eating Tasty Animals.
Then there is the other one, which we prefer to call PUTAh (People for the Unethical Treatment of Animals and humans).
Dying for attention, three staffers of PUTAh legally changed their names to GoVeg.com, KentuckyFriedCruelty.com, and RinglingBeatsAnimals.com. Would love to meet the idiot judge who granted this absurdity.
Confucius say: What is the sound of one hand clapping? If a tree fell in a forest and nobody heard it, did it make a sound?
What if some nobody animal rights activists changed their names to something stupid and no-one noticed for a 2.5 whole years?

Graphic from PETA-sucks.com

Well, they throw in their towels and go home . . . and change their names back. Does anyone really believe that anyone really called Karin Robertson “GoVeg.com”?
“Hey, GoVeg.com, wanna go to Starbucks for a vegan tastes-like-dustwater latte?”
“GoVeg.com, Let’s see the animal-cruelty-free, cruelty to humans ‘Fahrenheit 9/11.'”
“GoVeg.com, You look like you’re putting on quite a few non-animal calories. That soymilk is going right to your waist, that fried tofu right to your . . . .”
One of the absurd name-changers, Brandi Validoid (whose name should probably be Brandi “Void”), will soon leave PETA for a career in Hollywood and she’s keeping her name, RinglingBeatsAnimals.com. Figures. We’re sure she’ll fit right in there.
From AP:

“People laughed about it, and I really think that is the point,” Robertson said.
She got a driver’s license with her new name on it and tucked her court papers in her wallet just in case.
But [Christopher] Garnett ran into some difficulty when he applied for a passport and credit card in preparation for a family trip to Europe.
“Since Kentuckyfriedcruelty.com doesn’t have a social security number, it became a big hindrance,” he said. “From what I’ve been told, it’s a real nightmare to go through the whole process.”

So, they enjoyed being walking jokes. Incredible. These PUTAh people are idiots. And they want us to listen to idiots and let idiots control our diets. Puh-leeze. No-one named KentuckyFriedCruelty.com should be telling us what to do. He/she/it should be seeking help.
And that’s PETA, er . . . PUTAh, in a nutshell, minus the shell. Just Nuts.

Ka-Ching!: U.S. Aid to Lebanon Will Go Straight to Hezbollah

By
Countless billions in your tax money are about to go to Hezbollah–and may already be in the terrorist group’s coffers.
If you liked aid to Katrina victims, you’ll LOVE U.S. aid to Hezbollah, er . . . “Lebanon.” Millions in misspending? Get ready for billions. And it won’t be misspent on tattoos, condoms, and porn.
This time, Uncle Sam will pay for something far worse. Terrorism.
Should America reward Hezbollah for starting the war against Israel that just “ended” in a shaky, empty ceasefire? Should American tax dollars go to pay for destruction that was caused by Hezbollah’s refusal to turn over two kidnapped Israeli soldiers?

Your answer to those questions is really an answer to this one: Do you want U.S. tax dollars to fund Hezbollah–the terrorist group that murdered over 300 U.S. Marines and civilians and continues to train insurgent terrorists in Iraq to kill more?
If your answer to that question is no–and it should be–then America should not send a dime of aid to Lebanon.
In 2000, after Israel left Lebanon the first time, Republican U.S. Congressman Joe Knollenberg of Michigan–and his then-Chief of Staff Paul Welday–sought at least $268 million in USAID money for Lebanon “to rebuild infrastructure in the South,” the Hezbollah-controlled area. Even though Knollenberg had no Arab constituents–and certainly none from Lebanon–he sought the money at the request of pro-Hezbollah Arab American Institute chief James Zogby, an open extremist. And at the request of then-Michigan U.S. Senator, American Lebanese Spencer Abraham, who sponsored the same bill in the U.S. Senate.
They obtained about $86 million in U.S. tax money. And–surprise, surprise–it went straight to Hezbollah. The money, meant to rebuild hospitals and orphanages, probably went to weaponry and propaganda to put people in hospitals and orphanages.
I say “probably,” because the money has never been traced, never been accounted for, never been proven to have gone to any single rebuilding project. No-one knows where it went. But one thing is certain, the money went straight to the Hezbollah bank account.
Ka-ching!
Even if the money went into rebuilding–and that’s highly doubtful (unless you’re interested in buying some land from me under the Litani Bridge)–it’s a sure bet it gave Hezbollah extra money to acquire weaponry and train kids in hate and terrorism. As we all know, money is a fungible good, extra money meant for one thing–like re-building infrastructure–always allows a party to spend money normally meant for that expense on something else.
In Hezbollah’s case, that something else includes Hezbollah textbooks in Hezbollah-run schools. That means textbooks that teach young kids that Jews, Christians, and Americans are subhuman and to be killed. That something else includes Al-Manar TV, Hezbollah’s propaganda network 100 times worse than Al-Jazeera. That something else also includes weapons, missiles, and combat training for terrorists.
Then, it was Knollenberg and Abraham pushing for aid to Hezbollah, er . . . “Lebanon.” This time, it is Republican Congressman Darrell Issa a/k/a “Jihad Darrell”–an open supporter of Hezbollah, friend of the Syrian Ba’ath party and the Assads, and former dining partner of Yasser Arafat–pimping for the terrorist group. If he’s for it, we should all be against it. Unless you agree with his statements that Hezbollah is “legitimate resistance,” “farmers,” and does “good things.” We cannot afford to fund terrorism as Jihad Darrell’s political star turn.

Jihad Darrell: Congressman Darrell Issa Cries for U.S. Aid to Hezbollah

USAID–the U.S. Agency for International Development–gives out billions in U.S. taxpayer money, most of which has very little if any accountability or strings attached. And there is virtually no scrutiny over the funds, once they are given out.
At least with Katrina aid, we know where a lot of the misspending went. We will not never know the details on where the USAID money to “Lebanon” will go. USAID has very little–if any–oversight.
On July 9, 2001–just two months before 9/11–the USAID Bulletin noted that in the first half of Fiscal Year 2001 alone, the U.S. gave $118 million in aid to the Taliban-run Afghanistan. Guess where that money went? We don’t know the answer because it cannot be accounted for. And it certainly didn’t stop 9/11 from happening or Afghanistan’s Islamist government from harboring the man who planned the murder of at least 2,800 Americans on a single day.
The money was hardly a prophylactic against extremism. Instead, it subsidized extremism. Why was the money given? Like aid to Lebanon, it was a very expensive PR move paid for by American taxpayers. A PR move that failed like this one will.
And then there is USAID Ambassador/Administrator Randall L. Tobias, a Bush appointee. Ironically, USAID is part of the OPIC, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, which Tobias heads. But there is nothing “private” about the Enron-style investment American taxpayers are involuntarily making with billions now pouring into Lebanon.
On Tuesday, he was interviewed by FOX News’ Shepard Smith–the only TV journalist asking any tough questions. Smith reported that all Red Cross and other aid in South Lebanon and other Hezbollah-controlled areas goes straight to Hezbollah. Hezbollah administers it, without any interference–or oversight–from outsiders. That will not change anytime soon.
Smith asked Tobias if he will work directly with Hezbollah to administer the gazillions in U.S. aid now going to “Lebanon.” Tobias repeatedly danced around the question and wouldn’t answer. That means the answer is a big “Y-E-S.”

FOX News’ Shep Smith asked USAID’s Randall Tobias Tough Questions;

He Didn’t Give Answers

Guh-reat! The U.S. openly nodding and winking at giving billions of our money to those who tortured and murdered hundreds of Americans and are helping Al-Qaeda continue to do so in Iraq. Brilliant.
Tobias, when he did answer, said something just as frightening. He told Smith that he will work with “NGOs”–Non-Governmental Organizations–to distribute the billions in aid. If lack of oversight of USAID money is a hemorrhaging gash, oversight of NGOs is a mammoth black hole.
But in the U.S., the two biggest U.S.-based NGOs operating in the Islamic world are Islamic “charities” under investigation by several federal agencies for money-laundering to terrorists.
One–Life for Relief and Development (LRD)–openly admitted on its tax forms to giving millions from 1995-1997 to HAMAS’ Jordanian operations. In 2004, at a Los Angeles fundraiser, a speaker more than hinted that money would go to train individuals for more operations “like Fallujah” (where U.S. contractors were burnt to a crisp). Its Iraq offices were raided by U.S. troops, perhaps because it was founded by men connected with Al-Qaeda.
LRD got its USAID status when “former” Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist and FBI award revokee Imad Hamad lobbied Senator Carl Levin (D-MI). LRD’s General Counsel is the President and attorney for Hamad’s Midwest Regional American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. All of these parties are openly pro-Hezbollah. LRD’s spokesman, Mohammed Alomari, is the proud author of an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory book and articles decrying Jews in the Bush Administration.
Then, there is Islamic Relief. It is a front for the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group, from which Al-Qaeda’s #2 Ayman Al-Zawahiri, Yasser Arafat, and HAMAS all emanated. A 2004 Islamic Relief fundraiser I attended in Dearborn was hosted by a former employee of a HAMAS charity, and the entertainment was young kids simulating beheadings of other kids wearing the American, Israeli, and British flags–set to Arabic music about jihad and martyrdom. This was right after the Nick Berg was beheaded on video. Israel says the group funds HAMAS, and its Gaza chief stored Nazi images on his computer.
These are the groups to which U.S. aid to “Lebanon” will go. It isn’t going to Lebanon. It’s going–if not straight into Hezbollah’s hands–right to groups that support and fund Islamic terror and openly cheer Hezbollah.
If American taxpayers are going to donate billions to Hezbollah, we might as well wave the white flag in the War on Terror.

Northeast “Intelligence” Network or Northeast Plagiarism Network?

By
The old adage says that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But actually, that’s not always true. In the world of writing and research, imitation is the most insincere form of armed robbery. But, at least in a real armed robbery, you usually see the guy with his gun and you know he is stealing from you. With plagiarists, they just steal your hard work behind your back.
That was the case with the so-called Northeast Intelligence Network a/k/a NEIN a/k/a HomelandSecurityUS.com and its main operator, Douglas J. Hagmann, who on Monday, ripped off something I wrote–passing it off as the work of himself and his site’s “investigators,” who apparently don’t even exist. If the intelligence and terrorism expertise business is a matter of stealing the work of others and passing it off as your own, then I guess he’s good at it.

A number of readers notified me that Mr. Hagmann, in the second half of this post from Monday, ripped off my –the mysterious pizza shop at which two of the missing Egyptian “students” were found working, and at which two of the 2005 Baltimore Tunnel plotters were also found. That was based on a tip from an observant reader named Rona, further research by myself, and a tip I got from an interview with a source who shall remain nameless and who has never spoken to Mr. Hagmann or his phantom “investigators.”
In fact, Mr. Hagmann ripped off that entry in its entirety reworking it, with a tiny statement at the end, claiming

Research conducted by investigators from the Northeast Intelligence Network found that developed the same information.

What “research”? What “investigators”? Doug Hagmann simply read the on my site and flat-out ripped it off to pass it off as his own on Monday. How could I have “developed the same information” as someone else who actually ripped that info off from me three days later?
Then, there is this information posted by Hagmann, very telling of his rip-off:

At least two of those arrested were in possession of maps of both tunnels and related information.

In fact, that information is not posted anywhere in any press coverage of the October 2005 arrests. The only place it is posted is . It is independent info I have from a unique source close to that investigation–a source who’s never heard of Douglas Hagmann or his site and never spoke with him. I can’t be more specific about the source for many obvious reasons, primary among them his security and safety. Because it is info only I have, that is why the rest of the press–listening to FBI PR pap–wrote that there never was a plot and that it all was a misunderstanding (when there was a plot and there was no misunderstanding). Whatta concidence that Mr. Hagmann’s phanton “investigators” suddenly learned this information just three days after I wrote about it, and not at the time of the plot in October 20, 2005, when I learned about it.
Occasionally, Mr. Hagmann has linked to me, and that is fine and appreciated, but it sure doesn’t give him the license to rip off my work and pass it off as his own. A tiny link at the end of MY work (presented as his), claiming I came to the same conclusion–when in fact it was a total rip-off of my work–just will not do. Unfortunately, I’ve been told by some of my readers that this is the regular practice at Northeast Intelligence Network. I’m sorry to hear that. But it appears to be true, based on this case. People have patterns of behavior, not unique blips of them.
Mr. Hagmann gets a lot of traffic on his site from those who believe he is presenting his own personal analysis, when in fact it is the stolen work of others. And he does a lot of radio interviews with hosts who also don’t know better. He must think this gives him the license to steal intellectual property. It does not.
One reader warned me, yesterday, that this was a common Douglas Hagmann practice:

Your research and analysis on Islamic Fundamentalist Terror is well done. However, I believe another “investigator” located in Pennsylvania is attempting to capitalize financially on “intelligence investigations” throughout the electronic world by using open source information gathering techniques. These techniques include, but are not limited to, subscribing to news alerts from sources abroad, surfing weblogs, and watching broadcasts. Unfortunately, Mr. Douglas J. Hagmann, Director, Northeast Intelligence Network, and his site www.homelandsecurityus.com is using these techniques to misrepresent his personal analysis, and those of his supposed “investigators.” I also believe he is attempting to latch on to those already climbing the ladder of success independent of others.
Recently, he posted an “investigation” which he cited you as a source. I understand the professional courtesy extended by citing your information is prudent. However, Douglas J. Hagmann, and a few of his “investigators” mimic at times, usually more often than not, the [DS: who similarly ]…plagiarism.
This is definitely not the first time Douglas J. Hagmann of the Northeast Intelligence Network has published plagiarized information, nor do I suspect the last. He does not appear to be a credible person, nor would I want him citing any of my work as a source period. Prior to September 2001, Mr. Hagmann was using his investigative prowess to look for “Bigfoot” and “UFO’s” in, and around Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania. Ashtabula, Ohio to be specific. Mysteriously, the links to the story in the “Star-Beacon” in Ohio have been removed and or deleted. Mr. Hagmann was cited as a private investigator who reviewed the video tape of the incident, and then affirmed it was real and credible.
Referencing the above stories [DS: see below about the stories] regarding terrorism, it has now been reported to me that WorldNetDaily [DS: Whatta coincidence! WND is the site that ran , and refused to do a thing about it] has now picked up the story of Mr. Hagmann. I believe they will be next on my list today for e-mail. I believe Douglas J. Hagmann, of the Northeast Intelligence Network, at www.homelandsecurityus.com, is a complete and utter fraud period.

The reader shows me that Mr. Hagmann apparently took an article from DNA India about a possible terrorist plot and presented it as his own work, when it was not.
Mr. Hagmann, either do your own work or give complete credit to those whom you’ve completely ripped off–including me. Plagiarism is unacceptable and dishonest.
And so-called intelligence and terrorism “experts” don’t get a free pass to perpetrate it. Plagiarism does NOT qualify as “investigation.” Ever. It’s just chutzpah.

Snakes on a Plane True Stories: More Evidence that Post 9/11 Security Fails

By
In anticipation of “Snakes on a Plane‘s” Friday debut in theaters (I’m seeing it, Thursday Night, and will post my review right after), reader Maxim Lott has a site with several true stories–all after 9/11 and fairly recent–of snakes on planes, “Snakes on a Plane . . . In Real Life.

Dump AT&T: Phone Company Recognizes All of Israel’s West Bank as “Palestinian Authority”

By
Is AT&T the official phone company and internet sponsor of the Islamic jihad?
Maybe so, based on AT&T’s new billing policy. AT&T announced it has changed its phone bills to reflect all calls to Israel’s West Bank as being made to the Palestinian Authority. (Plus, the ever-greedy jihadi phone company is raising its rates by 20 cents per minute, too.)
All calls to Hebron, Eli, and other Jewish areas of the West Bank will now be designated on your AT&T phone bill as calls to “Palestinian Authority.” Ditto for calls to the same areas on AT&T’s internet-based AT&T CallVantage (on which AT&T is also raising its rates by 23 cents per minute). These areas are NOT part of the Palestinian Authority. They are part of Israel and under Israeli control.

Calling all areas of the West Bank–including those that Israel still controls and where the population is entirely Jewish–“Palestinian Authority,” is purely political.
The only way it would be a matter of “economics” is if AT&T is making this move to get some kind of sweetheart contract with the HAMAS-controlled Palestinian Authority. And that might very well be the case here.
Show AT&T some politics of your own. Drop the company as your communications provider. That’s the only kind of economics they understand in the AT&T boardroom.
