Roger Ebert Responds, But Court Affirms His Friend is a Terrorist

By
Recently, we Roger Ebert’s and Yes-man Roeper’s absurd, positive reviews for two pro-homicide bomber movies, and about how the director of one of the movies was upset I wrote about his “film” instead of agreeing with the two syndicated movie dupes’ reviews (which he e-mailed me).
Now, Roger Ebert e-mails me his response, below. He and I have had a running disagreement–, here, and even in one of his syndicated movie review columns–about his friend, PKK Islamic terrorist Ibrahim Parlak. Yesterday, just a day after Ebert wrote me that Parlak was not a terrorist, the Bureau of Immigration Appeals (the appeals court on deportation decisions) affirmed that, in fact, Parlak IS a terrorist.

Court: Thumbs Down to Roger Ebert’s Terrorist Buddy Ibrahim Parlak

From: “Roger Ebert”
To: “Debbie Schlussel”

Subject: Re: WAR WITHIN/PARADISE NOW . . . .
> Debbie, Debbie, Debbie,

> Parlak, who is not a terrorist and who even his local Republican
> Congressman supports. I only give thumbs to movies.

> RE
(Note: The Republican Congressman to which Ebert refers is Fred Upton, among the MOST LIBERAL Republicans in Congress. Ebert used the same line about only giving thumbs to movies when asked by US Magazine about having dated Oprah. Must not have been too good.)
The three judge panel affirmed that Parlak is a terrorist, persecutor, and liar–upholding these charges against him: committing or inciting to commit terrorist activities; soliciting funds for terrorist activities; and providing material support for terrorist activities.
Congratulations to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Assistant Chief Counsel Mark Jebson for this affirmation of his work as a skilled jurist. Let the deportation begin for the liberal movie critic’s Islamic terrorist buddy.

SCARY: Al-Muhajir (Padilla) Co-Indictee Had Access to Schools’ Air Ducts, Water

By
Today’s indictment of Islamic attempted dirty bomb acquirer/terrorist Abdullah Al-Muhajir a/k/a Jose Padilla is getting so much attention, you probably don’t know much about his co-indictees.
One co-indictee, Kifah Wael Jayyousi, has a VERY scary background–because HE INFILTRATED DETROIT AND WASHINGTON, DC SCHOOL SYSTEMS & HAD ACCESS TO THEIR AIR DUCTS, WATER.
Here in Detroit, Jayyousi was Assistant Superintendent of the Detroit Public Schools, from 1997-1999. He was in charge of physical facilities and capital improvement for the school district and oversaw spending of $1.5 million school bond funds. He was also an adjunct professor of engineering at Wayne State University–just as another terrorist, Sami Al-Arian–was a professor at University of South Florida. After he left the Detroit Public Schools, he took a similar job at the Washington, D.C. Public Schools, running its facilities.
It’s frightening that this man had access to facilities and infrastructure in schools–from which he could easily spread poisons and toxins.
At the same time, Jayyousi, a Palestinian Jordanian, ran Islamic “charities” as fronts to raise money for Islamic terrorists fighting in Bosnia, Kosovo, Chechnya, and Somalia. Jayyousi’s father still lives in the Detroit area.

Desperate Non-Wife: Is Maureen Dowd Necessary?

By
While noting the failure of bitter, anti-male, leftist New York Times’ columnist Maureen Dowd’s latest tome, “Are Men Necessary?” we couldn’t help but notice the similarities between her and “Desperate Housewives'” Bree (played by actress Marcia Cross). Which begs the question: Is Maureen Dowd Necessary? Just asking.

Buh-Bye, Ted Koppel . . . And Good Riddance!

By
Tonight is a time for celebration. Why? Ted Koppel is leaving ABC News and “Nightline” forever.
Koppel (whose real name is Ed, not Ted) made his career off the backs of America’s hostages in Iran, who spent well over 400 days in captivity. And Koppel’s nightly broadcasts about them–which morphed into “Nightline”–didn’t help their plight. No, Koppel’s constant nights of attention to the Islamic hostage-takers in Iran helped Islamic terrorists, not just those under yesterday’s Ayatollah Khomeini, but today’s Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi and Osama Bin Laden.

That Small?: Ted Koppel Describing the Size of Something Besides His Huge Ego and Enormous Leftist Arrogance

They knew–with the advent of constant attention to their evil acts, whether hostage taking or the murder of 3,000–that they would get nightly attention to their demands. And nightly attention to their demands is exactly what Koppel gave them. Nightly consideration of their point of view.
Consideration of the “other point of view”–no matter how evil, no matter how dedicated to America’s defeat–became the hallmark of Koppel’s career. In fact, with Koppel, it wasn’t just consideration. It was sympathy for the “other” point of view, no matter how absurd.
Then there was his snideness, his arrogance, his smug leftism–all under the facade of “journalism.” Conservative point of view or policy? Koppel always managed to deride it with his biased brand of snoot.
His snooty manner extended even to his phony, incorrect accent in mispronouncing Hebrew names and words, which didn’t fool anyone who knows or speaks Hebrew. If only it were just the mispronunciation that was the problem. Koppel’s unabashed pro-Palestinian terrorism slant in the disproportionate “Nightline” coverage of Israel was as obtrusive as a plus-sized model in a Victoria’s Secret catalog.
Don’t believe the hype over Ted Koppel in all of today’s mainstream newspapers. He wasn’t a great journalist or even a great interviewer. Ted Koppel was just a great ego.
When died, this summer, I while the rest of America gushed. The same criticism is equally appropriate to Koppel.
Ted Koppel is just Peter Jennings in a cheaper toupee. Unfortunately, while Koppel retires from Nightline, his equally biased, leftist daughter Andrea Koppel spews on as a “reporter” at CNN.
Good Riddance, Ted Koppel. One down; many, many more to go.

Do NOT Imbibe This: Soda Multi-Culturalism Fails

By
Stores around the country are pushing Jones Soda’s “Holiday Pack.” I tried it last week, and trust me, don’t buy it. Save your $10 plus (for five bottles).
I like exotic flavors of pop (that’s what we call “soda” here in Michigan), but this variety of “flavors” tastes terrible–every single flavor–even if it is 100% kosher and vegetarian.

With flavors like “Turkey & Gravy,” “Brussels Sprouts,” and “Wild Herb Stuffing,” I don’t know how I thought it could have tasted better. But these taste really, really bad. Imagine Turkey gravy mixed with water and sugar. Horrid. Even the “Pumpkin Pie” and “Cranberry Sauce” flavors were terrible (and had a very bad, very strong aftertaste).
I give Jones an “A” for creativity and exoticism, but an “F” for the final product.
Yet another example that 100% vegetarian, zero carb, zero calorie, zero caffeine, and zero sugar, usually means zero fun. It’s sort of an example how multi-culturalism doesn’t work. You try to please every taste, every group, you get a horrible result.

Pro-Terrorist Movie Director Upset I Don’t Agree With Ebert

By
I really , when I his outrageous sympathetic homicide bomber movie, “.” (Cuban financed it, produced it, distributed it, showed it in his theaters, etc. We will publish some of Cuban’s insulting, juvenile responses to you, my readers, later this week–as Thanksgiving that this movie bombed, despite all the hype.)
Now, I’ve struck a nerve with “The War Within’s” Director/Writer Joseph Castelo, who–in an e-mail to me–is apparently miffed that I don’t agree with Roger Ebert’s and yes-man Roeper’s “Two Thumbs Up” to this terrorist-sympathizing, baselessly anti-American movie (and an anti-Semitic, Palestinian version, “Paradise Now.”)
Its no surprise that Ebert would like these horrible–horribly sickening in their sympathy to terrorists–wastes of celluloid. After all, as we pointed out here, Roger Ebert (PKK is tied to Al-Qaeda) who is Ebert’s friend. As for Roeper, well, as I wrote, he is a yes-man to Ebert, and even when they “disagree,” they’re not really disagreeing.
Here’s the abbreviated version of “The War Within’s” e-mail (I need not repeat Ebert’s and yes-man Roeper’s sickening gushing in its saliva-filled entirety):

[DEBBIE: YES, THERE IS, ROGER. DESTROY THEM. KILL THEM. DEFEAT THEM. DON’T MAKE ABSURD MOVIES SYMPATHIZING WITH THEM AND LYING THAT WE TORTURED THEM.]
>And both films end in essentially the same place.
[DEBBIE: YES, BOTH HOMICIDE BOMBERS BLOW THEMSELVES UP. GEE, I’D NEVER HAVE PREDICTED THAT.]

[DEBBIE: ACCURATE? REALLY? DID WE TORTURE THE 9/11 HIJACKERS BEFORE THEY BLEW UP 3,000 AMERICANS? “WAR WITHIN” SAYS YES, THAT THEY COMMIT TERROR BECAUSE WE TORTURED THEM FIRST. DO JEWS POISON PALESTINIAN WATER TO DESTROY PALESTINIAN SPERM? THAT’S WHAT “PARADISE NOW” SAYS–AS ONE OF ITS JUSTIFICATIONS FOR HOMICIDE BOMBINGS. DOESN’T SEEM TO HAVE WORKED, SINCE THERE ARE NOW 5 MILLION PLUS PALESTINIANS ENCROACHING UPON ISRAEL.]

[DEBBIE: AND THAT’S A BAD THING? AS OPPOSED TO THINKING, HOW NICE AND PERSECUTED THESE POOR TERRORISTS ARE, AND HOW WE SHOULD BEND OVER BACKWARD (OR FORWARD) FOR THEM AS THESE MOVIES PRESCRIBE? YEAH, THAT’LL STOP TERRORISM, ROGER.]

NOTHING “SMART” ABOUT THESE MOVIES, UNLESS YOU’RE AN ISLAMO-FASCIST PROPAGANDIST AND GOT A JEWISH CAPITALIST LIKE MARK CUBAN TO FINANCE THE TRASH, TO BOOT.]

BREAKING NEWS: Bush to Give Unqualified Julie Myers RECESS APPOINTMENT as Immigration Chief

By
Inside sources tell me that President Bush will give his unqualified nominee, , a recess appointment to head up Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE). Bush has chosen the nuclear option at the cost of doing the right thing on this incompetent nominee.
Julie Myers, age 36, does not meet even the most basic qualifications to head up the key immigration and money-laundering enforcement agency in the U.S. We’ve learned that, due to that and other politics, several Democrat and Republican Senators have placed a hold on Myers’ nomination, and it will not be voted on anytime soon. Even if Myers is voted upon, her nomination–due to her absolute lack of experience and suitability for the position–faces a tough vote.

Laverne & Julie:

Myers Nomination is Latest Bad Sitcom at Immigration Agency

(Artwork by a Concerned Federal Agent)

The Bush Administration, rather than properly withdraw this poorly chosen nominee–and rather than face the prospect of a losing vote or no vote at all–will kowtow to incompetent DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff (to whose Chief of Staff Myers is married) and grant a recess appointment to Myers. It doesn’t exactly speak of confidence in this pitiful nominee.
ICE agents–who come from both the former INS and Customs Service–disagree on many things, but they are united in opposition to Myers. Giving Myers a recess appointment is even worse, because she will be a lame duck, as her recess appointment will expire at the end of 2006.
As one high-ranking career ICE agent told me:
“She gets the job for 12 months (which is about how long she’s held every other job in her life, on her checklist to a judgeship or US Attorney job) and then moves on. If she gets this position, an already vulnerable, dysfunctional agency will be further brought to its knees, as we are already in functional paralysis. ICE (and this administration) truly stands for ‘IN CHAPTER ELEVEN’, morally and ethically BANKRUPT!”
I could not have said it better. To recap Myers’ “qualifications”:
1) She for the job;
2) Makes fabulous ;
3) Sleeping with DHS Secretary’s Chief of Staff; and
4) Niece of a prominent retired general.
It is not known whether the “glorious” appointment will occur over the Thanksgiving or Christmas break. Either way, ICE agents are NOT looking forward to this holiday “gift” from the President–and Americans concerned with security shouldn’t be either.
We’ve previously noted that is more qualified for the position than Myers. We stand by that, though we can’t help thinking that this stinker reminds us of a bad sit-com. If it weren’t so sad, it would be funny.

Lenny & Squiggy?:

Abu Moskowitz & Hamadafat Are Another Bad ICE Sitcom

(Abu Moskowitz & Hamadafat Artwork

In related ICE news, we wonder why the FBI is now investigating a U.S. Navy marriage fraud scam in New York–clearly ICE territory. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that, since there is no leader at the helm of ICE, the inmates–such as ICE Special Agent in Charge (a/k/a “Abu Moskowitz”)–are running the asylum–and, in Moskowitz’s case, running far away from marriage fraud investigations that involve his beloved extremist Muslims. In fact, instead of urging his agents to investigate marriage fraud, Abu M is hanging out with a marriage fraud perpetrator–“former” Islamic terrorist and FBI award revokee, –whom he has reportedly invited to break pita at the Bloomfield Hills Moskowitz abode (on several occasions, we’re told).
With the Julie Myers appointment, expect more of the same. Or worse.

Three Cheers for Sen. Akaka: Bill Requires Minimum Standards for DHS Appointees

By
I’m not generally a fan of Hawaii’s liberal Democrat Senator Akaka.
Still, he deserves kudos for his new bill. It requires certain minimum standards in qualifications for Homeland Security appointees, a problem in the case of ICE Princess-in-waiting , President Bush’s nominee to head Immigration and Customs Enforcement, whose main qualifications are: 1) she for the job; 2) makes fabulous ; 3) sleeping with DHS Secretary’s Chief of Staff; and 4) niece of a prominent retired general.
Akaka’s bill, if it passed, would presumably nix the Myers nomination–assuming she didn’t get away with flat-out LYING about her management experience, as both GOP and Dem Senators have allowed her to, thus far.
Let’s hope that even though Akaka is in the minority party, just this once, he has the juice to push his bill through. And if he does, could he please also add something to keep out , too? . . . .
