Tonight on ABC, Baba Wawa presents “The Most Fascinating People of 2005.”
Note that it’s not called, “Leftists at ABC’s Most Fascinating People of 2005” or even, “Baba Wawa’s Most Fascinating People of 2005.” Nope. You’re expected to accept that Baba Wawa’s choices–of Kanye “George Bush Doesn’t Care About Black People” West and the mother of missing Aruba partier chick Natalee Holloway–are the gospel. Do you find Mom of Natalee to be one of the ten most fascinating people of the year–or even one of the 10 billion most fascinating? Didn’t think so.
Then, there’s West. Why did Baba Wawa pick him? Could it have something to do with giving him an opportunity to expound on his anti-White, anti-Bush racist views? Why, yes, it does. Yesterday, on her ABC male-hating yenta-fest, “The View,” said that West talks about his upbringing as the son of Black Panthers who taught him that everything that happens in America is a product of White racism in America.

Sounds like the pot–and the Kanye–calling the kettle Black. And the septuagenarian celebrity panderer, Baba Wawa, to clueless, as usual, to notice. Nope, nothing fascinating about any of these people.

Today’s Wall Street Journal front-pager about Amr and Mary Faith Elgindy, an Egyptian Muslim convict and his wife, is so touching I need to get out the Kleenex.
Except it’s not the real or even the whole story. WSJ reporter John R. Emshwiller’s misplaced sympathy for the Elgindys apparently made him miss mention of Elgindy’s religion and even his real name, not to mention the identity of his brother. Perhaps the violin music playing in the background distracted Emshwiller from the whole truth.
On 9/10/01, Mr. Elgindy, who is called “Anthony” Elgindy in the story, but is really named Amr, tried to sell off his kids’ entire stock portfolio of several hundred thousand dollars, reportedly warning that a huge disaster was about to happen.
But in trying Elgindy for insider trading, the Justice Department couldn’t afford to focus on that, due to its own embarrassment. Elgindy, after all, was working with corrupt FBI agents who gave him the insider info, and it would be very embarrassing for the FBI to be so connected to a man who knew about 9/11 ahead of time. So, to avoid that embarrassment, the Justice Department avoided any indictments relating to terrorism, and junked any such investigations into Elgindy, sources say. None of this is mentioned in the Wall Street Journal article, either.
Then, there is Elgindy’s brother, Khaled. I’ve been following Khaled Elgindy, ever since he sent me angry, threatening e-mails after 9/11–you know, the day AFTER his brother tried to unload his kids’ stock portfolio. Khaled Elgindy used stints at the State Department and a U.S. government commission to persecute and speak out against Egyptian Coptic Christians. Then, there is his work for a Michigan that openly funded HAMAS, secretly raised money to fund Iraqi insurgents against our soldiers, and has ties to Al Qaeda. (The charity was being investigated by Customs Office of Investigations, but under ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) Special Agent in Charge ,” the investigation was shut down, perhaps because of its ties to his buddy, “former” Islamic terrorist .)
Finally, there is Khaled Elgindy’s work for the Palestinian Authority and his work for various pro-terrorist Arab Muslim groups, like the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC).
Not a lick of this is even mentioned on the WSJ’s front-page story. Nope, instead, we get to read the official Elgindy PR about Mrs. Elgindy’s Baptist upbringing, her new desperate state as a single mother, and how sad it is that she must now sell her $3 million mansion and jewelry. Oh, and then there are the details of how the neurotic Elgindy children’s minds are corrupted so badly by TV that they must go to expensive therapy. We’re supposed to cry for this family needs at least $22,000 a month for expenses.
Puh-leeze.

Not that you care a thing about reality TV–and if you’re reading this site, you shouldn’t (we don’t)–but we know who will win the anti-fat show, “The Biggest Loser,” tonight.
No, we don’t watch this silly show, though we like anything that makes annoying fat people get thin. But we couldn’t help but notice a big hint in the constant NBC promotions for tonight’s finale of the show. In a pixelated vision of the winner, they forgot to pixelate out the high heels. Since there are only two men and one woman left–and we assume the men are not transvestites who favor heels–it must be that the woman won the show.
UPDATE: Oops! When we’re wrong, we’re wrong. On two counts. We watched the finale of this show, tonight, and actually liked it a whole lot (much more than the one or two episodes we watched). Very uplifting. And we were wrong about the woman winning. They played a trick in the commercial, and we fell for it. One of the men won.

Since I’d written about him (, , and ), I noted he was running at a pretty fast clip (though not as fast as I) on the Star-Trac treadmill in front of me. I couldn’t help but wonder why–overseeing the Famous But Incompetent in the heart of Islamic America–he doesn’t run after Islamic terrorists as fast . . . or even at all.
I approached him and said, “Aren’t you Daniel Roberts?”
“Why, yes, I am,” said a blushing, smiling Roberts, sticking out his arm to shake my hand.
I shook it, then said, “Yeah, I recognize you from , and I’ve written about you on my website. I’m Debbie Schlussel. So nice to meet you.” As you can imagine, the jaw dropped, face turned white, etc.
Seeing Mr. Roberts’ strong interest in running and golf, we think he’d be a much better fit with the Secret Service’s Presidential Protective Detail. Like him, they don’t go after Islamic terrorists either. It’s not their job. Too bad that it IS his job. Because he doesn’t do it.
Instead, Roberts panders to extremist Muslims throughout Detroit, persecutes agents like Mike Thomas who do pursue Islamic terrorists, , and then . Empire building and edifice complex? Definitely. Fighting Islamic terrorism? No way.
And by the way, was that Jeep in the parking lot at the gym the same one we saw Roberts driving from the ? We certainly hope it’s not his tax-funded government “G” car, since driving that to the gym or on other personal business is strictly prohibited. Just wondering . . . .

Our fave member of “Republicans Who Don’t Get it,” crybaby millionaire U.S. Congressman Darrell Issa (a/k/a “Jihad Darrell”) (San Diego), is at it again. And it won’t help his aggressive quest for higher office in California.
We’ve been following his career of criminal activity (from which he always gets away, blaming it on his brother or giving some other excuse) and gushing praise for terrorists, including Yasser Arafat, Hezbollah, terror-host Syria, etc. Jihad Darrell was so mad we exposed him on this that he continues to waste taxpayer dollars on materials he sends out that he claims refutes us (but doesn’t). Issa also defended indicted and now-convicted , who today pled guilty to accepting $2.4 million in bribes for lucrative defense contracts. We earlier this year. Issa’s defense of Cunningham’s bribe-taking enraged even his constituents, such as the one who wrote this letter to the editor.
Today, Issa is quoted in the Denver Post attacking U.S. Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO) for being so on the money on the illegal alien problem. Apparently, Issa, who pretends to also care about the illegal immigration problem (but really doesn’t), has a problem with that.

We note that Issa has been , and has been out to get hard-working Border Patrol officers, since they stopped him for speeding and a resulting “Do You Know Who I Am?” refrain, several years ago. That’s tough on illegal aliens? We also note that Jihad Darrell supported unfettered, open immigration, when he was the California head of the Arab American Institute. Gee, we wonder why.
We love Tom Tancredo for sticking up for America. No wonder Hezbollah’s representative in the U.S. Congress, Jihad Darrell, doesn’t. Jihad D is just jealous that Tancredo is the real thing on this issue, whereas Issa is just another pair of silicone implants that need to be replaced when the lap dance is over.

So the Thanksgiving break is over, and we have not yet received word that the President has signed off on his of to head up Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
As , our sources were not sure whether the appointment would happen over the Thanksgiving or Christmas recess–so there is still time to contact the White House to stop this absurd appointment of the completely unqualified Julie Myers.

(a/k/a “Mr. Burns”) to various southern border locales, today and tomorrow, for an that they will finally end the absurd catch-and-release policy with illegal aliens and to highlight that they intend to do something about the porous border problems (when what they’re really pushing is more illegal alien “guest workers”). , so little action.
Don’t they know that fertilizer is an unnecessary commodity in the desert?

You’ve no doubt heard the sob-stories about the impending California execution of Crips co-founder and cold-blooded killer Stanley “Tookie” Williams, set for December 13th.
Williams murdered four people in cold blood during two robberies. There is no doubt he did it, and he was not convicted on circumstantial evidence. That’s not to mention the hundreds of murder victims taken by members of his Crips gang.
But, despite this, Williams was a several-time Nobel Prize nominee, and the following celebrities are rallying for his clemency from the sentence by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger:

Remember that they stood up for a mass murderer, and don’t patronize their show biz exploits. They apparently care nothing about the lives of Albert Owens, Yen-I Yang, Tsai-Shai Yang and Ye Chen Lin–which Williams took.

With the announcement of the most important news story of our time–the split of Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey–we can now report that the bizarre relationship between Ms. Simpson and her father, Joe, may now proceed.
A former Baptist Christian minister who left the Church for the more “lofty” prospects of sporting a diamond stud earring, frosted hair, and marketing his two daughters as whores, the senior Simpson has made some interesting pronouncements about his daughter, such as this scintillating gem from a January interview in GQ:
“Jessica . . . just is sexy. If you put her in a T-shirt or you put her in a bustier, she’s sexy in both. She’s got double D’s. You can’t cover those suckers up!”

Then, there’s this to US Magazine in June: “She gets bold with a glass of wine! . . . . I push Jessica and go ‘C’mon baby, you can do it.’ [Before she wed Nick], I was her provider, her knight in shining armor.”
Looks like Pops can go back to being Double Ds’ “knight in shining armor,” not typically a description for a father-daughter relationship. But then, most fathers are not their daughters’ slut-marketing gurus.

Just after 9/11, I appeared on FOX News Channel’s “O’Reilly Factor” to discuss imam Fawaz Abu Damra, chief cleric of the Cleveland Mosque, and read his surveilled statements supporting terrorism and the elimination of Christians and Jews at his mosque. The occasion was a fundraiser he did with Islamic Jihad chief Sami Al-Arian ( in Tampa), in which he openly stated that Al-Arian was in charge of armed operations for Islamic Jihad, to which the funds would go. I had written extensively about Abu Damra and his work with Al-Arian on behalf of Islamic Jihad.
A friend told me that “Friday is going to be a great day.” And he was right. Today, Abu Damra was re-arrested and charged with lying about his connections to terrorist groups, so he can be deported.
This is absurd because Damra should have been deported without this latest accusation. But that’s the folly of our immigration laws. Damra’s original crime (for which he was convicted and jailed for months) was not enough to deport him. So, the feds had to charge and arrest this terrorism fundraiser with another crime. That’s our ludicrous immigration system at “work.” See Pat Campbell’s apt comments about this. Stay tuned for a column on this, next week.

Abu Moskowitz vs. Abu Damra? Not Really
We hope that , Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Special Agent in Charge for Michigan and Ohio, won’t pat himself on the (spineless) back, for this arrest–in which his role was merely a formality. This was not his investigation, as the case was set in motion in 1995 and in stone in 2003 (when Al-Arian was indicted). There would be no way–despite how much Abu M’s “former” Islamic terrorist buddy craved it–that Abu M could get away with not directing the arrest. We know that other such vital investigations by Moskowitz’s ICE agents into Islamic terrorism and illegal immigration have, indeed, been ended due to Hamad’s undue influence on Abu Moskowitz.
Abu M’s tough statements against terrorism, in today’s news stories about Damra’s arrest, were just that–statements, and not anything reflecting his real shirking of initiative and shutdown of important investigations in the Islamic terrorism and illegal immigration arenas, as we have documented extensively on this site.

Well, , the “new,” Koppel-less “Nightline” is the same old boring, leftist “Nightline.” Don’t get fooled into thinking it’s real, objective journalism.
On last night’s edition, the ABC News show attacked Norman Rockwell’s “Thanksgiving.” The painting that most Americans, who don’t work in the mainstream media, can identify with as capturing the real spirit of Thanksgiving, was attacked by the consistently less relevant “Nightliners.”
The painting is too White, they said. Not “multi-cultural” enough. No minorities or gays, metro-girlie-man ad exec and CNBC host Donnie Deutch protested to “Nightline.” (He makes gay ads for IKEA and ethno-centric ads where straight White males don’t exist.) “No longer relevant,” he proclaimed.

Then, the show pulled out an old, angry New York Times editorial decrying the fact that the painting portrays a happy and joyous Thanksgiving. This was “unhealthy” and “dangerous,” the Times declared, because after all, most Thanksgivings are angry, dysfunctional affair–or at least, that’s what the Times AND “Nightline” seem to want. Just because Thanksgiving is miserable, does that mean ours has to be?
Happy Thanksgiving, Norman Rockwell-style! And bring us the holiday cheer of a “Nightline” cancellation. America loves Norman Rockwell AND Thanksgiving. Anyone who doesn’t–including ABC News and “Nightline” curmudgeons–is simply unAmerican.
