Foreign Students: Another Immigration (ICE) Failure–Where’s Abu Moskowitz? Part XXL

By
Where’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) when it comes to checking visas of foreign students and whether they are continuing to pursue studies?
Nowhere to be seen.
A lot of your tax money was supposed to be spent to check up on those foreign students. An expensive ($36.8 million) computerized system called SEVIS (Student Exchange and Visitor Information Service) was supposed to be used by ICE as a basis for investigating foreign student visa violations.
But ICE “leadership” must have dyslexia. Apparently, they think SEVIS is supposed be SIEVE. That’s how they’ve treated the system that was supposed to block illegal visitors, not welcome them in, unchecked, forever.
In the first year of SIEVE . . . er SEVIS, only 1,600 investigations and 155 arrests (and probably, much fewer convictions) have resulted out of over 36,000 student visa violations identified by the system. The rest got a get out of jail free card. Oops . . . they never went to jail. They’re just roaming free. Information for further years is “unavailable.” Gee, someone at ICE isn’t trying to cover up more bad news, are they?
So where, for example, is ICE’s Special Agent in Charge for Michigan and Ohio, (a/k/a “Abu Moskowitz”)? Why isn’t he sending agents to check on these student visa violators (who are mostly Middle-Easterners and Muslims)?
I guess he’s too busy spending $30,000 on new furniture and carpeting, hanging with “former” Islamic terrorist/FBI award revokee , and Hezbollah’s favorite Detroit area extremist Islamic leader, Imam Mohammed Ali Elahi (more on that coming up).
Don’t expect the Detroit Spews (a/k/a Detroit News) reporter on the SEVIS failures, Brad Heath–famed for his apologist series on how 9/11 and immigration enforcement and counter-terror polices hurt Arabs/Muslims (because terror supporters and illegal immigrants are actually sometimes brought to justice)–to ask these questions. He didn’t, and he won’t.

FOX News: Fair and Balanced Minus 5.46%?

By
Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal announced that he has acquired 5.46% of News Corporation, the Rupert Murdoch company that owns and operates FOX News Channel, the New York Post, and several FOX stations around the country.
Prince Alwaleed, nephew of the late Saudi King Fahd, is the cretin who–just after 9/11–visited the World Trade Center remains. He offered then-New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani a $10 million check for relief efforts, but then released a statement full of moral equivocations–rationalizing the murder of 3,000 innocent Americans and blaming U.S. foreign policy and “suggesting” it be changed.
Giuliani promptly returned the check with a statement: “There is no moral equivalent for this attack. The people who did it lost any right to ask for justification when they slaughtered . . . innocent people … Not only are those statements wrong, they’re part of the problem.”

Saudi Prince: Tried to Bribe Giuliani,

Now Owns 5.46% of FOX News’ Owner

Shortly thereafter, the Napoleonic Prince, who is affected by a strange tick, was also featured on a post-9/11 “60 Minutes” report that was even more offensive–filled with attacks on Giuliani, the U.S., and Israel.
Now, the Prince is one of the largest shareholders in News Corp, and said he may acquire even more shares. Will this affect FOX News’ editorial content in favor of his extremist views?
Hopefully not. But . . . I report, you decide.

Being Brunette Barbie: Hurricane Makes Congress See Light on Unqualified Immigration Nominee

By
I and friends of mine, who are Homeland Security agents both inside and outside ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), have voiced concern and dismay over the President’s nomination of , a 36-year-old lawyer (and confidant of another inept Homeland Security lawyer, ), to become the new DHS Assistant Secretary over ICE.
Today, Associated Press reports that Congress is finally seeing the light concerning Ms. Myers. Too bad it took a catastrophic hurricane to do it.

Julie L. Myers: 36-year-old Brunette Barbie
Unqualified to Oversee Immigration

I’m not a fan of Ohio’s Republican pro-Islamist U.S. Senator, George Voinovich, but yesterday, he got it right: “I think that we ought to have a meeting with [Homeland Security Secretary] Mike Chertoff … to ask him … why he thinks you’re qualified for the job,” Voinovich was quoted as saying in The Washington Times. “Because based on your resume, I don’t think you are.”
Julie L. Myers has zero qualifications for the job. Being Brunette Barbie is not enough to run the most important agency in Homeland Security, which handles immigration (and does a horrible job at it). If Myers is confirmed, expect Abu Moskowitz () style malfeasance to continue and national security to be increasingly jeopardized.
Wait ’til you hear her other “qualifications.” More on Julie L. Myers coming up. Stay tuned.
***UPDATE: Michelle Malkin also has a great post on this. And FYI, the wimpy Voinovich reversed course on Julie Myers and is now supporting her. I knew I couldn’t trust him.

Save Your Money: Don’t See Violent “Lord of War” Propaganda Film

By
The movie, “Lord of War“–out this weekend, is getting a lot of hype as a comedy about an arms dealer. But it’s not funny. And it’s not good, either.
Not to mention, it’s a propaganda film. And a poor way to continue the movie career of aging, dull Nicholas Cage.
The movie is too long, violent, disgusting, and anti-American.
Of course, you don’t get to see the anti-American part until the end (though it’s in the back of your mind throughout). Even though the movie is about a sleazy Ukrainian-born American arms dealer, the end of the movie tells us that we are to think of this sleazebag murder-enabler as the United States and other Western World countries which are the worlds biggest arms dealers and who shouldn’t sit on the U.N. Security Council, but do.
Remember this the next time actors Nicholas Cage, Jared Leto, and Bridget Moynahan (girlfriend of New England Patriots’ Quarterback Tom Brady) want you to attend another of their pieces of celluloid crap.

Kuwait’s Phony Ad

By
See the full-page ad paid for by the Kuwaiti government in today’s USA Today?
Nice that the country had money to waste on this ad that rings as true as the Saudi ads claiming to be our “allies” in the war against (rather than what they really are–PERPETRATORS OF) terror. The ad claims: “We will never forget that the support and courage of the American people helped us reclaim our country in 1991.” (As I recall, we didn’t just “help.” We did the whole job.)
Nice, too, that the country donated $500 million out of the gazillions we pay them for oil.
Unfortunately, the ad and the show of support are phony. In fact, Kuwait has forgotten the support and courage of the American people–who, again, didn’t just “help” Kuwaitis reclaim their country, but did the whole job, while Kuwaitis smoked water pipes and read the Koran.
The government of Kuwait that was so appreciative of our efforts has been overtaken by Kuwaitis who hate America and support terror. Why else did the Emir of Kuwait funnel monies to Islamic charities and institutions in the U.S. accused of laundering money to Bin Laden?
A 2003 “60 Minutes” report by Mike Wallace showed how much the Kuwaitis now in power hate us. And how those, who supported us for saving the very existence of their country from Greater Saddamia, are now exiled from their country.
E-mail Kuwait’s Minister of Information, Dr. Anas Al-Rasheed (who signed the USA Today ad), and ask him why his country hates us–the people who saved his countrymen’s rears. Spending thousands on an ad and millions on relief here, won’t change the growing, utter hatred of the U.S. over there.

ABC’s “View” Hostess: Ex-FEMAn Mike Brown Worse Than Pedophile

By
Last week, she .
But, yesterday, Joy Behar, co-hostess of ABC’s annoying yenta-fest, “The View,” outdid even that absurdity. Behar, the unfunny “comedienne,” implied that Ex-FEMA Director Mike Brown was worse than a Nebraska pedophile, who had sex with a 12-year-old girl and got her pregnant at age 13 (recently marrying her).
Behar objected that fellow co-hostess Elisabeth Hasselbeck was upset over the pedophile, but not more so about Mike Brown and FEMA’s reaction to Hurricane Katrina relief. In yet another ludicrous outburst, Behar asked Hasselbeck, “Why aren’t you more adamant against this FEMA Director [than the pedophile]?” implying that Brown was worse than the pedophile.

Joyless Behar: FEMA’s Brown Worse Than Pedophile, Bush Like Klan

Hasselbeck replied that Brown was fired. But that wasn’t enough for Behar. She and host Baba Wawa (Barbra Walters) chastised Hasselbeck for not understanding that it’s not a big deal for 12-year-old girls to have sex with 20-year-olds, that the 12-year-old’s single mother can’t be expected to be responsible for her daughter “dating” a 20-year-old. Then, they admonished Hasselbeck for having two parents who stayed together and disciplined her into not having sex with adults when she was 12. Yeah, that’s the problem.
To sum up yesterday’s “The View” lessons: ex-FEMA director worse than pedophile; pedophilia not so bad; sex by 12-year-old girl not her approving mother’s fault; single mothers are blameless. And you wonder why housewives who watch this stuff are mindless . . . .
***UPDATE: On today’s “The View,” Behar said of President Bush, “This guy needs to take a permanent pee break.” Classy.

New “Unredacted” 9/11 Commission Report Still Redacted for Saudis

By
Much is being made about the newly-released, “unredacted” version of the 9/11 Commission Report.
But, in fact, “unredacted” is a misnomer, because–while there is newly disclosed information about airport security lapses and warnings as far back as 1998 (Bill Clinton) about hijacked planes being used as weapons to explode buildings–the report still conceals from the public 27 or so pages about our self-proclaimed “allies in the War on Terror” the Saudis.
Yes, the pages about the Saudi Royals’ very close ties, funding, and knowledge of the activities of at least two of the hijackers (Khalid Al-Midhar and Nawaf Al-Hazmi), and their Saudi Royal connection, Omar Al-Bayoumi, are still redacted.
Why, four years after 9/11, can’t the American people see the full information about our friends’, the Saudis, involvement in the murder of 3,000 of our fellow Americans?
Ask President Bush and his White House, who are behind the refusal to disclose.
Don’t ask , the inept “spokesman” for the Department of Homeland Security. The clueless Knocke told the New York Times, “Out of an abundance of caution, there are a variety of reasons why the U.S. government would not want to disclose certain security measures and not make them available in the public domain for terrorists to exploit.”
Caution has nothing to do with our dealings with the Saudis or the Bush Administrations shielding of 27 pages about how they helped 19 men murder thousands of Americans. There are no “security measures” in those pages, and nothing for “terrorists to exploit.” In fact, the exploitation is in the fact these pages are being kept secret.

“Crescent” City: Where is ACLU on N’Awlins’ Islamic Religious Symbol?

By
Where is the ACLU when you need them? Well, if it involves opposing the one religion the “civil liberties” group loves–Islam–don’t look for the ACLU to go on the offensive, or do much of anything at all.
New Orleans is known as “the Crescent City.” Accordingly, all of its police cars and the insignia on the hats of law enforcement are covered with not just a crescent, but a crescent with a star (you may have noticed in the continuing news coverage of Katrina’s aftermath).

But this symbol is a religious symbol–that of Islam. So why is the ACLU allowing it? Imagine if New Orleans was known as “the Cross City,” and its insignia was a cross. We’d be hearing all kinds of yelling and screaming about the separation of church and state. And you can bet there would be an ACLU lawsuit.
So where is the ACLU? I hear crickets chirping . . . . but not much else.
Credit to the brilliant, patriotic Charlotte Baker and Ruth King for noticing this.

Stop Making Fat Chicks Chic (They Aren’t)

By
Yesterday’s Wall Street Journal had an article about yet another company, Nine West, that is making fashionable clothing for the gi-normous girl crowd. The article is entitled, “For Plus-Size Women, More Chic Choices.”
And that’s the problem. There shouldn’t be ANY “chic choices” for fat chicks. It isn’t hip or chic or cool to be fat. So why are we encouraging it? Everyday, a new chain like Horrid . . . er, “Torrid,” pops up with hammock-halters and thongs the size of the Brooklyn Bridge. Eeuuw!
Another thing: Why is it euphemistically called, “Plus-sized”? There is no such thing. There is fat and there is thin. Plus-sized means fat, plain and simple.
Unfortunately, the Wall Street Journal reports, “the plus-size apparel market is one of the fastest growing segments in retail, with U.S. sales up 4% over the past year to $17.4 billion.”
Remember that the next time you hear Hillary Clinton and other feminists whine about how skinny supermodels are making the country’s daughters become anorexic. Hardly.
The article tells us that “plus-size customers tend to have warmer body temperatures.” No way. You’re kidding.
Other parts of the article of note: the fat fashions are employing more “form-fitting” items. Don’t they mean “blimp-fitting”? There are some “forms” we just don’t need to see too much of. Fat designer “Abby Z” uses a size 18 as her base, from which she relies on three “models” who “carry their eight in different places.” If they worked out and watched what they ate, maybe there wouldn’t be a need for three different configurations of the calorically-endowed.
Time to stop making fat hip. It isn’t.

Jewish Group Showers Cash on Islamic Terror Supporters

By
As an American who happens to be Jewish, it bothers me greatly when I’m told by others, “Well, such-and-such Jewish group said this Muslim or that Muslim group is okay” about particular extremist Muslims who are anything but okay.
Americans must stop relying on left-wing Jewish leadership (who are generally a bunch of knee-jerk, ill-informed morons or worse) for the kosher seal of approval on Muslims who support terror. When this happens, the results are a disaster . . . and can even be fatal. “Mainstream” Jewish groups often fall all over themselves to embrace extremist Muslims (to show how tolerant they are) who wish death upon America, Christians, and–yes–Jews (even these uber-liberal Jewish idiots who pander to these radical Muslims).
Case in point is the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. The Jewish Fund, which is a program of this organization, and the Detroit Jewish Community Council, another program of the Jewish Federation, have a one-sided love affair with an organization that supports terrorists–even gave job-training to alleged Al-Qaeda sleeper cell members–and sponsored a conference at which “Annihilate the Jews” was chanted in unison by attendees.
That organization is ACCESS, the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services, of Dearborn, Michigan. Today’s Detroit Free Press, in a brief blurb, announces that Detroit’s Jewish Federation and the Jewish Fund are giving $20,000 on the Arab American National Museum “to teach middle school-age children about different cultural and ethnic groups.”
