There’s something about a person wearing a mask to a gas station that understandably makes them a little nervous. Like, say, the high possibility of armed robbery. But leave it to the whiners from HAMAS CAIR to make a big stink about it, so that in the future, gas station robbers will know exactly what to do: dress in a Muslim niqab (the full-ninja face face veil many Muslim women wear because their ugly mugs might turn on some Muslim guys who, unlike normal Western men, can’t control their impulses and might be forced rape them). I’ve already written about several crimes committed this way. And then there’s “burqa-cide.”Oh, and why is it that these whiners are always women with a troubled, criminal past–as in this case, where the whiner-ette beat her daughter over a cell phone and was hauled off to jail.
La-Fleur Mohamed: Muslim Whines Over Not Being Able to Dress Like a Desert Thug @ Gas Station
La-Fleur Mohamed, a Muslim for the past 12 years, says a Chevron employee humiliated her by barring her from a gas station because she wouldn’t remove her head scarf.
Um, it was a FACE scarf, not just a head scarf. See the photo above.
“You can’t come in here dressed like that,” Mohamed said the clerk told her inside a station store west of Boca Raton in October. The clerk allegedly tossed Mohamed’s gas money back at her and instructed her to leave.
Mohamed, 39, a Boca Raton married mother of four, has since been receiving assistance from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Muslim civil rights and advocacy group with chapters nationwide.
At a press conference in Pembroke Pines on Wednesday, she and the group demanded that Chevron officials admit that religious discrimination occurred. And they want Chevron to start additional training companywide so that such violations don’t happen again.
The group showed two letters from Chevron. The latest, dated Jan. 17, states the company reviewed the matter, didn’t see evidence of discrimination, but took “corrective action to address this issue.”
Um, here’s the “corrective action” I would take. I’d congratulate the employee for assuring the safety of the gas station and its other customers and employees and instruct all Chevron stations to do the same whenever anyone tries to enter with a mask on. It’s a huge safety risk that jeopardizes everyone involved.

“The parties involved for my public humiliation need to take responsibility and accept that they did violate my rights and apologize,” Mohamed said.
Woman, you already humiliated yourself by donning this silly face covering. You have NO right to wear a mask to a gas station. It’s no different than wearing a ski mask there.
Chevron spokesman Brent Tippen said Wednesday that Mohamed was asked by the employee to remove her veil, and when she declined, she was denied service.
But he said it was done for security just before Halloween, when retailers are prone to heists from people wearing masks and other facial coverings.
“We fully believe that our employee acted without the intent to violate Ms. Mohamed’s religious principles and any suggestion that discrimination is acceptable at Chevron is completely false,” he said. . . .
According to Tippen, the company regrets the misunderstanding. It has apologized twice to Mohamed, encouraged employees to “be more aware of potential diversity issues” and “continues to take Ms. Mohamed’s allegations seriously,” he said.
HUH? Why? Why apologize after doing nothing wrong? What allegations? She wore a mask to a gas station, she refused to take it off. End of story. Or it should be. But these Muslims want America to bend to their backward mores. They do NOT want to assimilate. They are a large, immovable rock in a supposed “melting pot.”
Mohamed [is] a native of St. Vincent in the Caribbean.
Would love to know her immigration status. Oh, and by the way, she’s been here 25 years. She’s the kind of “they’ve been here for 25 years” person that Newt Gingrich wants to give amnesty to.
Another Reason Niqabs Are Ridiculous & Uncivilized . . .
After the worker declined to serve her, Mohamed collected her money and walked back to her car in tears, she said. Her parents were in the vehicle waiting for her, she said.
“I was so embarrassed to tell them that I was just denied service,” she said.
With her car’s fuel guage on empty, Mohamed said she was concerned that her car would run out of gas if she tried to drive to another station. She phoned 911.
When a Palm Beach sheriff’s deputy arrived, the deputy unsuccessfully tried to persuade the employee to provide service, she said. . . .
Mohamed phoned a friend to meet her at Chevron and accompany her to another station for gas, she said.
Hmmm . . . she cried to her parents, called the police, called a friend, then called HAMAS’ CAIR. Wow, if being a super-devout Muslim is this traumatic and stressful, maybe she should choose a different religion. Oh, and try filling up before your gas tank is on empty. Good for the employee who did not fall to the intimidating pressures of a sheriff’s deputy.
South Florida’s Council on American-Islamic Relations often receives reports of religious discrimination, but Mohamed’s encounter was one of “the most egregious” recent examples of refusal of service, said Nezar Hamze, the group’s regional executive director.
“It’s important that this is publicly vetted so that our society learns that this type of behavior is unacceptable and un-American,” Hamze said.
Huh? If this is the “most egregious” example of “discrimination” against Muslims, it’s time for CAIR to go out of business. Um, the public isn’t completely made up of dummies. I doubt very highly that the majority of the public would see refusal to serve someone in a mask at a gas statoin as even remotely close to unacceptable OR un-American. What’s UN-AMERICAN here is the decision to wear a scarf that covers everything but your eyes out of deference to some backwards desert moongod cult from the Middle East. Also UN-AMERICAN here is demanding an apology over this and making a big deal rather than adhering to American standards . . . like showing your face if you want to be served anywhere other than at a Halloween costume party.
Wilfredo A. Ruiz, the group’s Florida legal counsel, questioned whether security was Chevron’s reason for declining service. He said security concerns no longer were a factor when a sheriff’s deputy also showed up to ask that Mohamed be provided service.
WTF?! Chevron can’t treat Muslims in masks better than all other Americans in masks. THAT would be the discrimination. Whether or not the cop was there is irrelevant. He won’t be there every single time someone drives up in a mask. Just ask all the gas station owners and employees robbed by people in masks.
Chevron’s Tippen replied that the deputy asked the clerk only why she was declining to provide service. The clerk explained she was following instructions to ask customers to remove facial coverings for the security camera.
Mohamed said she has lived in the United States for the past 25 years. She said she lived in New York and New Jersey before she and her family moved to South Florida for the warmer weather about eight years ago.
Again, what’s her immigration status? Is she one of those who would have been deported prior to the Obama-Bush policy of not deporting non-criminal illegal aliens? (She did tangle with law enforcement and violence. Read on.)
Mohamed said that over the years, she has drawn stares from the public for her traditional religious garb. She said she uses such moments to educate people about being a Muslim.
No education needed, you idiot. Oh, and here’s the MONEY QUOTE:
Her veil drew extra attention in July, when she was taken into custody on a domestic battery charge in Alachua County, accused of wrestling her daughter over a cellphone, according to an article posted online by the Gainesville Sun newspaper. It was her first and only arrest, and the charge was later dismissed, records show.
Her initial jail mugshot shows her wearing the veil. But she later was photographed again without the veil to show her face in accordance with jail policies, the newspaper reported.
The Chevron visit in Palm Beach County was the first time Mohamed was barred from getting service at a business, she said. She said she’ll never again visit the business.
Gee, I’m sure they’re desperately missing your niqab, your insolence, your crying, your calling the police on them, your HAMAS CAIR press conferences.
You, of course, know what’s going on here: Islamic grievance theater and HAMAS CAIR shakedown attempts a la Jesse Jackson. They learned from the best.
Let’s hope that Chevron doesn’t bow to the pressure and give in to CAIR’s demand for “sensitivity training” sessions. But don’t hold your breath.
I’ll be watching.
But Black is so Slimming!
