Can’t let the week go by without remembering Vidal Sassoon, * Zichrono LiVrachah [Blessed Be His Memory], who died on Wednesday at age 84. He was so much more than the famous, classy, chic hair stylist and the namesake of a famous haircare line of the ’70s and ’80s.

When I was a kid and saw ads on TV like the two videos below, my parents used to tell me that Vidal Sassoon was a Sephardic Jew who was pro-Israel. And we bought his shampoo and conditioner because, as he said in the ads, “If you don’t look good, we don’t look good.” Not only was he proud to be Jewish and a supporter of Israel, but he fought in the Haganah in 1947 to help make Israel an independent state. The son of Sephardic Jews of Greek and Spanish descent, his family was poor, and he had to live in an orphanage after his father abandoned the family. He went on to fight anti-Semites in Britain in his youth and later to fund other fights against anti-Semitism. His was an interesting story.

Remember that this schmuck was an apologist for Arafat and repeatedly referred to himself on PAWNN (the Prince Al-Waleed News Network a/k/a “FOX News”) as a “Palestinianist.” Oh, and don’t forget when he betrayed the troops in Iraq and was kicked out.

I don’t know a lot about cars.  But I probably know more about the auto biz than most women who don’t work in that industry.  And I also know what I like, which has always included the very cool Shelby Cobra.  Yesterday, Carroll Shelby, the legendary Texan behind that car and many others, died.  He was a great Formula One racer who went on to become one of the great entrepreneurs in the auto industry, working with the Big Three automakers (after he influenced them greatly) and also independently.  Before his career in cars, he enlisted and served in World War II in the U.S. Air Corps as a flight instructor and test pilot.

I contrast Shelby to today’s internet billionaires, and it’s no contest.  He was a patriotic, aw-shucks Southern down-home guy who actually created things.  They are sterile, faux-hipsterized creators of ether. And none of them was once Sports Illustrated’s Driver of the Year, as Shelby was in 1956 and 1957. Sadly, there will never again be great entrepreneurial men like Carroll Shelby in the auto industry.

Shelby . . . the [former] chicken farmer . . .said, “I never made a damn dime until I started doing what I wanted.” . . . “I love horsepower,” he said more than once.

Beyond just his efforts in the small world of hot-rodding, Shelby influenced how Detroit automakers thought about high-performance, and he proved that hard work and bit of guile can make a hero. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s a good thing that this moronic liberal trial lawyer, John Edwards, was never Vice President.  And now we have yet another reason, beside far-left wacko views, stupid affairs, and illegit kids:  the guy consulted Hollywood movie stars–most notably Jeff Spicoli a/k/a Sean “I Love Iran & Chavez” Penn–as his advisers.  Yup, not experts.  Just people who play them–er, who play pot-smoking morons–in the movies. The only thing that would make this story more ridiculous: if he’d consulted Mel Gibson (or the ghost of Bin Laden). If only . . . .

I frankly don’t want, don’t need, and would never accept any such phony “apology” from Muslims who said what they really believe in the first place and haven’t changed, in this case of a Toronto Muslim school . . . which is NOT unique to that school but common to Muslims all over the world, including all over North America. And “opening the doors” of a Muslim school to the Jewish community won’t change a thing–it will only be a PR opportunity for the Muslim haters to pretend they don’t hate, when we all know the Jew-hatred is an inherent teaching of Islam. As you read this story, note that the mosque is a Shi’ite mosque that supports Iran and Hezbollah. Given that, there is no point in even considering any apology for their very real and eternal Jew-hatred of which there will be more because there are more and more of them coming into North America. Complaining about their Jew-teaching hatred once they are here is too little, too late. It’s like complaining about the effects of cancer, after you’ve willingly contracted it.

Jewish community leaders say an apology from an east-Toronto Islamic school which taught Jews are “treacherous” and “crafty” is a good start, but not nearly enough. Read the rest of this entry »

Despite all the Obamessiah worship by the Ellen/Liberace/George Michaels crowd (though “Libby” had the class to keep his lifestyle private) and their allies in the liberal media, Barack Obama’s silly statement, yesterday, coming out in favor of gay marriage is a desperate move by a desperate President, who knows his days may be numbered if he doesn’t do something splashy. He knows he’s lost the 50% (or more) of the country that knows marriage is between a man and a woman, not between a man and a man, a man and a dog, a man and a child, or any other alleged sexual “predisposition” to love someone other than an adult human of the opposite sex. And despite what he says, unless he issues an executive order–which he’ll never have the guts to do–The Village People and the ghost of Yasser Arafat still can’t legally marry the true objects of their affection.

So, he has nothing to lose by favoring gay marriage . . . except the votes of every single person who has voted against gay marriage in California, North Carolina, etc. And he lost them long ago.

But it’s an obvious flip-flop designed to fundraise and energize the gay-friendly troops, most of whom were, to date, less motivated to vote for him than they were at this point four years ago. The bloom of the “first Black President” is gone. Now, he has to re-invent himself into other identity politics, including the “first gay-friendly President” (who may or may not be on the “down low,” himself, according to rumors and accusations). DebbieSchlussel.com has learned that Gitmo terrorist lawyer, Cheryl T. Bormann, bragged to colleagues that she is related to the late top Nazi official, Martin Bormann. Bormann was Adolf Hitler’s private secretary, head of the Nazi Party Chancellery, and a Reich Leader.  He named his first-born son after Hitler, who was his son’s godfather. (Check out the many pics of Bormann with his buddy Adolf.) And, sources say, that Cheryl Bormann wasn’t exactly embarrassed by and didn’t condemn the behavior of her prominent Nazi relative.  In fact, the sources say they were shocked when Bormann rather indifferently noted she was related to him and seemed to be proud of the association.  She told acquaintances that her uncle, who lived on an Illinois farm, was questioned by U.S. intelligence officials during World War II about whether or not he had contact with Martin Bormann.  When he told them he did not, they left him alone.

On Monday, I told you about Bormann, the lawyer for Walid bin Attash, on trial at Guantanamo Bay.  As I told you, Bormann wore a hijab, the Islamic veil, as well as an abaya, the Islamic cape for women.  She also lectured other women in the courtroom that they, too, should wear such Islamic dress out of respect for the Islamic terrorists, including her client, who are responsible for the mass murder of 3,000 Americans on 9/11. So, a large group of Muslims in the United Kingdom wants to celebrate a birthday, etc.  They decide that the most Islamic way to do this is to gang rape White, non-Muslim women for the very reason that these women aren’t Muslim.  And they make one of them have sex with 20 of the Muslims in one night.  (It’s not the first or last time “Western” Muslims have done this. Remember when Shamrez Rashid, Amar Hussain, Adil Saleem, Jahbar Rafiq, and Amer Islam Choudhrey–all of them also Brit Muslims–repeatedly gang raped two teenage girls to celebrate the Eid (Islamic religious festival)?) And that’s why they call it the “Religion of Peace,” right?  I guess it’s also why various morons–including faux-“conservative” Jeff Jacoby–lectured us that Islamic “modesty” is paramount and should be respected at Guantanamo Bay, above all other modesty (say, Jewish, Christian, etc.) and our national security.

One of the gang rapists is a religious studies teacher at a local mosque. Shocker, since their religion teaches this is okay to do. (Think this can’t happen in America? Guess what? It already has–here and here. The Muslims here are no different or in any way unique from Muslims anywhere else in the world.) Oh, and the police wouldn’t investigate, out of fear of being called “racist” and “bigoted” against Muslims. The “men”–actually, animals following Islamic preachings–are all Muslim: Abdul Qayyum, Age 43; Mohammed Amin, Age 45; Abdul Aziz, 41; Mohammed Sajid, 35; Hamid Safi, 22; Adil Khan, 42; Kabeer Hassan, 25; and Abdul Rauf; 43.

A judge today said nine men preyed on white girls as young as 13 for sex ‘because they were not part of your community or religion’ as he jailed them for a total of 77 years. Read the rest of this entry »

Samantha Lewthwaite is the kind of moronette I’ve written about many times over the years–a stupid, zaftig White chick desperate for a man, who converted to Islam and helped her British Islamic terrorist husband, while he plotted to blow up British subway trains.  Sadly, there are plenty more where she came from, and we have more than our fair share on U.S. soil.  As I’ve noted before, their attitude is to put their vagina first, before national security, what’s good for the country, and what’s ultimately good for themselves.  She urged in her diaries that wives be “devoted” to their Islamic terrorist hubbies. And, while she publicly “condemned” her husband’s actions, Lewthwaite really believed the exact opposite and was part of the terrorist cell–more taqiyya-style deception by Muslims.

Whenever the usual morons call me “raaaaacist!” for pointing out the extremism and utter intolerance inherent in Islam, I always laugh.  Because Islam ain’t a race.  It’s a deadly ideology.  And, in fact, Islam is the most racist (and bigoted–against Jews, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, Zoroastrians, and all other non-Muslims) religion there is.  As I’ve noted over the decades–on this site and elsewhere–Muslims hate Blacks, including Muslims who are Black and regularly refer to them as “abed” (singular) and “abeed” (plural), which is Arabic for “slave,” but is used as the N-word by Arabs and Muslims.  And, as I’ve noted, Muslims have repeatedly picked fights against and even murdered Blacks, all over the Detroit area, such as Kelvin Porter, whose 12-year-old daughter watched two Arab Muslim gas station clerks beat him to death with a tire iron (while calling him the N-word), after he asked them to stop leering at her.  As I’ve also noted on this site, Arab Muslim students throughout Dearbornistan and Hamtramckstan regularly engage in violent attacks against Blacks.  And so it goes with Dearborn’s Edsel Ford High School, where Blacks were attacked by Arab Muslims because an Arab Muslim girl was apparently engaged in a relationship with a Black student. Remember, this was the same school in which Arab Muslim students made sweatshirts praising and honoring the 9/11 attacks on America, and the underwear bombing attempt by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

As you watch the video report (which the dhimmi Detroit NBC affiliate WDIV won’t enable for posting here), note that the “reporter” is pro-Muslim Egyptian woman Sandra Ali (who, herself, is not a Muslim).  In an affirmative action move, other reporters were fired so she could be hired by Local 4, as the station’s news outlet is called, because she is an Arab.  Sandra Ali is regularly honored by and emcees dinners and ceremonies for the openly pro-Hezbollah/HAMAS ADC (American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee) headed by her friend, PFLP Islamic terrorist, alleged HAMAS fundraiser, FBI award revokee, and marriage and immigration fraud perpetrator Imad Hamad.  In other words, don’t expect to EVER see an objective news report by her.  Note that she does NOT interview a single Black person for the report, but mostly Arab Muslims, which is interesting since the report is about violence by Arab Muslims against Black students.

Police arrested two students from Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn after a fight inside school.

School administrators said the fight broke out Friday afternoon, around lunchtime, near the cafeteria.

Several students at the school said the fight was racially motivated between African-American students and Arab students. Police said they don’t believe that was the case, but could not say what sparked the fight. Read the rest of this entry »
