Romney Demotes Secure Borders Immigration Adviser to Appease Latinos

By Debbie Schlussel

Now that he’s sewn up the Republican nomination, the real Mitt Romney is emerging . . . the same Mitt Romney we knew we were getting in the first place: the one who ran to the left of Teddy Kennedy. And in one of his first moves as Mr. (Etchy) Sketchy, Romney has demoted Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, the tough-on-illegal aliens, secure borders patriot I’m proud to know (we spoke at the same Arizona secure borders conference a few years ago and communicated later on when he used some of my info for a New York Post column). Kobach was behind Romney’s tough stance on immigration and America’s borders, while he was trying to secure the GOP nomination. But, now, a “softer, gentler” a/k/a LIBERAL Mitt Romney has no use for that because he wants the Hispanic vote.

Kris Kobach Lost the Romney Immigration Ear to Marco “Mini-DREAM Act” Rubio

I already told you that Romney got Marco Rubio to introduce his own version of the DREAM Act, granting legal status and in-state tuition to illegal aliens. And, now, Kobach, who served as an adviser to Romney in both 2008 and 2010 to the present has been “modified” from adviser to mere “supporter.” Kris Kobach, a very classy and decent guy, has too much dignity to say anything negative about this, so he’s denied he’s no longer a Romney adviser. But the Romney campaign says otherwise, and they’ve thrown Kobach under the bus (another scary Romney tactic similar to that of Obama). From the Politico’s Glenn Thrush:

Como se dice “Etch a Sketch” en espanol?

Over the weekend, I noticed that Kris Kobach, Mitt Romney’s unpaid immigration adviser — and the inspiration for Romney’s “voluntary deportation” strategy – wasn’t included in a fairly comprehensive Boston Globe rundown of staff, advisers and the kitchen cabinet types.

When I asked Boston if Kobach was still an “adviser,” a Romney spokesperson emailed back: “supporter.” Read the rest of this entry »

Liberated “Democratic” Egypt Legalizing Necrophilia Between Husbands & Dead Wives

By Debbie Schlussel

Yay–yet another “democratic” reform in Islamic Egypt, yet another reason to back up Barack Obama’s forcing out of Hosni Mubarak: the Muslim fanatics now running the country are enacting a new “farewell intercourse law,” which allows husbands to have sex with their dead wives up to six hours after their deaths. Very convenient: get rid of the wife in an honor killing, then have make-up sex right after, without any resistance. Well, it isn’t really rape if she can’t say no, right? Oh, and girls can now be married off at the new lowered age of 14. The dudes who raped Ned Beatty in “Deliverance” called. They want their schtick back. And people wonder why I say the Islamic world ain’t a civilization. Let’s hear it for Islamo-necrophilia.

Religion of (Sex With the Rested In) Peace

Egyptian husbands will soon be legally allowed to have sex with their dead wives – for up to six hours after their death.

The controversial new law is part of a raft of measures being introduced by the Islamist-dominated parliament. Read the rest of this entry »

She’s BAAACK: Jew-Hating HAMASnik Jihad Cindy Runnin’ For Congress

By Debbie Schlussel

She’s BAAAACK!

I’ve been following racist, Jew-hating wacko Cynthia McKinney a/k/a “Jihad Cindy” for at least two decades.  When my friend, Jewish Republican John Mitnick, ran against her in 1996, he had the best chance of any Republican to beat her.  But, predictably, the Jewish community in the Atlanta area supported the Black neo-Nazi-ette and helped re-elect her, even though she referred to Mitnick as “that racist Jew.”   And, although she was ousted in a Democratic primary in 2002, she came back in future elections, getting ousted again in 2006.  McKinney was on the HAMAS flotilla trying to help terrorists in Gaza, and she appeared (wearing a weird superhero cape) on Libyan TV to back Muammar Qaddafi (because he was giving millions to her patron, Louis Farrakhan).  Well, now, like an annoying mosquito you just can’t swat away for good, she’s back, running for Congress again.

Jihad Cindy Wearing Keffiyeh @ HAMAS Rally

And I’m sure McKinney’s friends in HAMASCAIR and the Islamic nuthouse will support her latest Congressional bid.  The group supported McKinney, even after her father blamed one of her Congressional losses on “the J-E-W-S.”  And by the way, when she lost, that was despite the personal help of her friend, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and his minions.  This time, though, things might be different.  She’s had previous comebacks to Congress, and she may do it yet again. HYPOCRITE: Warren Buffett Spent $1 Milln to Lobby for Less Taxes

By Debbie Schlussel

Apparently, billionaire Warren Buffett’s motto should be, “Do as I say, not as I do.”  As you know, for the last several years Buffett has been whining that his secretary pays a higher tax rate than he does, and he’s been calling for more taxes on the rich.  But it turns out that, privately, Buffett has been seeking less taxes for the rich . . . especially the rich who have private planes.  And he got government fees reduced, saving the jet-set rich $83 million in government assessments. The victory reduced the amount of FAA funding borne by fat cats with private planes and increased the proportion paid by average travelers in the cattle sections of American commercial airliners.

“My Taxes Aren’t High Enough! Hey, My Private Jet Taxes Are Way Too High!”

NetJets Inc., the private-jet company owned by Mr. Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc., spent more than $1 million over the past three years to lobby Congress to cut a user fee, benefiting the company’s well-heeled customers, who buy or lease shares in planes. The reduced fee, part of the recent Federal Aviation Administration bill that took effect earlier this month, will save customers of NetJets and other similar companies roughly $83 million over about four years, according to congressional estimates. HUH? GOP & Dem Feminists Blame Secret Service Hooker Scandal on “Too Few” Chick Agents; ICE’s HookerGate

By Debbie Schlussel

The dumbest thing I’ve heard about the United States Secret Service hooker scandal comes from Democrat Carolyn Maloney of New York and far-left Republican Susan Collins of Maine.  They blame the scandal on the Secret Service’s “male culture” and whine that only 13% of current Secret Service agents are women.  It’s bunk.  Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has many female agents and was headed by a (really incompetent) chick, Julie L. Myers, when its own top agents not only patronized prostitutes, but had the chutzpah to charge the brothel payment on their ICE government credit cards.  One of the men who did this was one of Myers’ top deputy directors at ICE, and yet she shoved it under the rug, allowing him to retire with a full pension. Oh, and he did it in Thailand, while there on a mission regarding ICE’s work against sex tourism.

Feminist idiots who claim that women running the show–or even filling an equal number of slots–will stop prostitution scandals . . . well, they’re idiots or they must know what they are spewing is total BS.  The reason the Secret Service got caught in this scandal is the same reason Barack Obama is President, the Kartrashian bimbos are rich, and race-baiter Al-Sharpton has a show on a major NBC property:  the dumbing down of America–every single aspect of it.  The Secret Service has been dumbed down along with it.  And I should know, since I wrote about and researched this.

When I was in college in the late ’80s, I wrote a thesis paper on the United States Secret Service and how it changed since its founding.  I read everything I could about the agency.  And one thing that was different than from now is the discipline the agency had.  Where it was once basically a paramilitary organization, it’s now a lackluster, lazy bureaucracy.  In the ’80s, agents could have only limited facial hair (such as mustaches), and they were hyper-aware when working.  This was best detailed by former Secret Service Agent Marty Venker in his book (with George Rush,”Confessions of an Ex-Secret Service Agent.”  It was an interesting read.  Venker wrote about how he spent all of his time on Secret Service details focusing on two things–the person he was protecting and the potential threats in the immediate vicinity of that person.  Stuff was so intense that it severely affected Venker’s personal life.  And, in his off hours, he blew off steam in the dark underbelly of New York’s punk scene, where he became friends with people like Madonna before she hit it big. Wknd Box Office: The Lucky One, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, Footnote, Think Like a Man

By Debbie Schlussel

The best new movies out, this weekend, are foreign films. The American ones–well, they stink.

* “The Lucky One“: This absolutely awful, saccharine chick flick was unbearable and silly. It’s the worst of the Nicholas Sparks-inspired movies.

Zac Efron plays a U.S. Marine who did three tours of dury in Iraq. During his last tour, he find a photo of an attractive blonde woman, and he believes that the photo kept him alive because he wants to live to meet and thank her. When he goes home, he figures out where the lighthouse in the photo is located and goes to Louisiana to meet her. There, we are presented with every stale, old stereotype of Southerners, complete with a very fat, corrupt judge played by a guy who looks like the poor man’s Ned Beatty (and I thought that Ned Beatty was the poor man’s Ned Beatty) and his evil, corrupt son, who is a cop and an abuser of women and civil rights. The son is the father of the out-of-wedlock son attractive woman in the photo. Read the rest of this entry »

Why the Heck Did George Zimmerman’s Lawyer Let Him Take the Stand???

By Debbie Schlussel

One of the areas of law that I practice is criminal defense.  And–going by my track record–I think I can say I’m good at it.  But even if I didn’t know what the heck I was talking about and even though I do not practice law in Florida, I’d have to be an idiot to put a client accused of murder on the stand to say things that can be–and definitely will be–used against him. If you’ve seen any TV cop show, you hear that in the “Miranda warning” they read when they arrest someone, and it’s not in the warning by accident.  But, today, George Zimmerman’s lawyer, Mark O’Mara, allowed his client to take the stand. And, in my view, it was boneheaded.

Why?

Well, Zimmerman stated that he did not know whether or not Trayvon Martin had a weapon.  That’s not something you say on the stand.  It makes it sound like Trayvon Martin didn’t seem to be that much of a threat to his life. Read the rest of this entry »

No Sympathy for Bar Refaeli, Israeli Draft Dodger

By Debbie Schlussel

Many have been buzzing about Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli’s claimed “molestation” by security inspectors at an airport, presumably one in the United States.  We’ve all been molested by the TSA at airports, and I’ve had a similar experience to the one she described, which was degrading and disgusting.  But I can’t feel bad for her.  Not even a bit.  That’s because Ms. Refaeli is a draft-dodger, and she shouldn’t be traveling around with the jet-set class.  She should be behind bars for dereliction of duty.

Bar Refaeli: Beautiful Israeli Draft-Dodging Bitch Whines About Being “Violated”

As I’ve noted on this site, Refaeli engaged in a brief sham marriage to a friend in order to skip her service in the Israeli Army–a mandatory two-year service required of every Jewish Israeli citizen.  And not only did she dodge the draft, she bragged about it, saying she didn’t have to do the things the little people do because, hey, she’s a supermodel.  “Celebrities have other needs,” she said.  (Hey, just like draft-dodger Ted Nugent. He needed to rock and she needed to be a model, rather than serve when required by law.) But, unlike her, plenty of Israeli models–even a couple who’ve recently been in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition–have done their time in the IDF.  And they’ve been proud to do so.  Ms. Refaeli is a different story because she apparently doesn’t like Israel or the IDF all that much. LA Times: No Prob Releasing Photos That Kill US Soldiers, But Won’t Release Video of Obama w/ HAMASnik

By Debbie Schlussel

Take note:  the Los Angeles Times has no problem with releasing photos that will lead to the murder of more American soldiers.  And, yet, the paper still won’t release video–it acknowledged it has in its possession–of Barack Obama and Palestinian Muslim activist Rashid Khalidi, while the latter is attacking Jews, Israel (and America) and the former–our President applauds, as Khalidi shows his allegiance to HAMAS and company.  Yup, that’s the sickening double standard:  getting Muslim exercised and prepared to pounce on Americans–GREAT; showing Americans documentary evidence of the President’s pan-terrorist leanings–F- The Public’s Right to Know! (And William Ayers is in the video, too.)

American Soldiers Pose w/ Dead Terrorist & His Hand

On top of that, like many of you I’m sick and tired of the faux-outrage and plastic morality of the liberal media and pan-Marxist Presidential administration that is so smugly “sad” and “disappointed” whenever photos show up of our brave soldiers posing with body parts of Islamic terrorists who tried–and failed–to kill them.  The latest–the Los Angeles Times release of photos of Americans posing with a dead Islamic terrorist’s body parts in Afghanistan–is Exhibit A. VIDEO: This is Kinda How I Feel About Romney (& You Know You Do, Too)

By Debbie Schlussel

Barack Obama is such a bad President that the Republican nominee (or in this case, the presumed nominee) for President should be trouncing him in the polls.  But, instead, it’s neck and neck, with Romney barely leading in some polls and Obama beating him in others.  And Jimmy Kimmel perfectly captures why.  This “campaign ad” is exactly how I feel about Romney (except, maybe, the comment at the end).  And you know you feel the same way.  If he had the guts and self-confidence to pick Allen West as his running mate, then I would be excited. But he won’t, because West would be the star of that ticket, and Romney simply doesn’t have the guts to pick a real conservative, because, hey, he ain’t one either. Mitt Happens.
