ABC “View” Hags Attack Orthodox Jews (Flashback: Walked Out When O’Reilly Said Muslims Did 9/11)

By Debbie Schlussel

Remember when ABC’s “The View” hags, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, walked out on Bill O’Reilly because he said Muslims perpetrated the 9/11 attacks (which is entirely correct)?  Well, no such faux-outrage or walk-out, today, on the show, when a whole segment was devoted to attacking Orthodox Jews–specifically Chassidic Jews–and their lifestyle.  It was a disgusting display and attack on Jewish traditions that you’ll never see them do against Islam.

SS Women’s Auxiliary Reunion

In fact, all five co-hostess hags of the show–Goldberg, Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherri Shepherd, and Barbara Walters (who owns the show)– joined in with a Jewish guest, Susie Essman, who left religious Judaism, showing her sympathy and agreeing with her attacks on religious Judaism as made in a new book.  They called her brave and courageous, as if she didn’t have the freedom to leave Judaism at any time, which is the case in Islam. (Think you’ll ever see them having Ayaan Hirsi Ali on the show to talk about how she left Islam and calling her brave? Dream on.)

But don’t worry, View executive producer Baba Wawa told the audience that this doesn’t represent all Jews, so, hey, that makes it sooooo much better.  My “favorite” part was when Baba Wawa said, “We still  have some time left and my producer is in my ear telling me to ask you about the Hassidic Orthodox sexual practices.”  The guest then went on to please Wawa’s prurient interests in making religious Jews look like weirdos to the world.  It was as if she had Barack Obama on the show and asked him to talk about Mitt Romney wearing church-mandated underwear, something I wouldn’t put past her.  When is a guest speaking out against the practices of Islam going to be a welcomed guest????  This show is the reason why I think America would be fine if the 19th Amendment were revoked.  I’d happily give up my vote if it would cancel out these five moron-ette bigots and the same feeble minds who watch them and drink in every word. HILARIOUS: CNN Says Hezbollah “6th Most Romantic People in World”

By Debbie Schlussel

As you know, today is Valentine’s Day, the greeting card/floral/chocolate-industry mandated “holiday” on which every poor schnook guy must rush to the store to get something for his girlfriend or wife, or be in the doghouse for the next year.  I’ll write more about that later.  For now, though, CNN gave the world a good laugh by saying that the people of Hezbollah nation–the Lebanese–are the Sixth most romantic people in the world, ahead of Americans.  The laughable, ridiculous article–which cites Lebanese Arabs’ “liberal application of hair gel” as an aphrodisiac?!–has since been scrubbed from the CNN website, but with the magic of Google cache, it’s still visible for now. And all the Lebanese newspapers, like the Daily Star, are crowing about their fictional romanticism.

Huh? CNN Says Hezbollah’s Girlieman Leader Hassan Nasrallah & Supporters “6th Most Romantic”

Nasrallah Girlie Man by (David Lunde/Lundesigns)

I guess having four wives and temporary marriages for the purpose of sex (called mut’a or nikah mut’ah) in which the woman has no rights and is merely a sex slave–both common practices of Hezbollah’s Sh’ite Muslims–could be considered “romantic” in some circles.  But for everybody else, nuh-uh.  Yes, I know that there are some Jew-hating, Israel-hating Christians and Sunnis still left in Lebanon, but the country is basically Hezbollahstan now, and Hezbollah and Shi’ites run the place.  And don’t forget the Sunni chicks in full-ninja romance gear (see photo at the bottom). (I guess, also, that CNN forgot about the ban on Valentine’s Day in many Muslim circles.)

Here’s more from CNN’s hooked-on-crack perspective:

Lebanese:

They are different from the rest of the Arab world and they know it. Blessed with olive skin, soulful dark eyes and smoldering looks (not to mention a penchant by some for surgical enhancement), the Lebanese make full use of their physical attributes.

Yeah, they do . . . once the rhinoplasty has fully healed. Read the rest of this entry »

Sports Columnist Says Asians Have Small Penis – Did He Get to Keep His Job b/c He’s Black?

By Debbie Schlussel

As most readers know, I’m no fan of political correctness and think there’s a lot of overreaction, such as when Roland Martin tweeted, last week, against men in pink suits (and got suspended by CNN).  Please, people, get a sense of humor and take that protruding vertical thing out of your but.   But there’s a second kind of political correctness I’m also not a fan of:  the double standard applied to minorities who get to keep their jobs after making politically incorrect statements, while non-minorities are usually fired.  And that’s the case with a tweet by FOX Sports columnist Jason Whitlock, who gets to keep his job at FOX Sports after tweeting the stereotype that Asian men have very small penises.

Whether or not there is some statistically factual basis to this claim, he was tweeting about Jeremy Lin, the New York Knicks player who is 6′ 3″ and not likely challenged in the “size” department, not that it matters.  Whitlock wrote:

Some lucky lady in NYC is gonna feel a couple inches of pain tonight.

Is this really the first thing that came to his mind when Lin scored 38 points against the Lakers?  Really?  This isn’t about political correctness.  It’s about Jason Whitlock being a twisted pervert (and I think I’ve located the real reason he made this comment: he has a thing for Asian strippers–see the photo–and is worried about competition).  I’ve praised Whitlock on this site, before (and no, he’s not “my hero”–that was a headline),  but this tweet was definitely low-class.  And here’s a tip for Whitlock:  the ethnic groups that have smaller penises statistically are also the ones that have, statistically, larger brains and vastly higher IQs.  Read “Bell Curve: Intelligence and Class Structure in American Life,” honey.  OOPS, did I just make a politically incorrect statement and generalize like Jason Whitlock did?  But I’m White, so I don’t have the privilege of saying so, while he does. American Soldiers Died to Give Afghan Women “Flower Literacy”?!

By Debbie Schlussel

The United States spent gazillions of dollars and hundreds of American soldiers’ lives to build roads for unappreciative Afghans, who play both sides and mostly remain loyal to the Taliban.  Most of the roads were never finished, and it was all a giant waste of time, money, and lives in order to build “goodwill” that never materialized among the Afghan Muslims.  The uselessness and frustration over building these roads and the Americans’ lives lost or wounded are documented in two movies, “Restrepo,” and “Where Soldiers Come From,” both of which I saw but was remiss in not yet reviewing here (I will soon).  The Wall Street Journal did an in-depth story on what a waste the program is,  and it’s just as my jaded mind thought.  But here’s the best part of where your money in Afghanistan is going, something like “Midnight Basketball for Muslim Chicks”:  “flower literacy.”

“Flower Literacy: Your Tax Dollars @ Work Training Muslims in “Democracy”

I kid you not.  We are spending money to teach Afghan Muslimas “floral literacy.”    No, it’s not instructing Muslim women in the appreciation of roses and gardenias.  Or even poppies, for something beyond their illicit drug value.  It’s to teach the Afghan women how to make floral arrangements . . . which I’m sure is in high demand in the mountains and caves of the Korengal Valley.  Attention, USAID, they live in Helmand Province, NOT Hollywood or La Jolla.  And, anyway, I heard the pink jihad club of gay Afghan Muslims called.  They don’t want the competition.  Business is already so slow, as there aren’t enough goat and Bacha Bazi parties to go around. I’ve seen photos of some Afghan women trying to sell garish floral arrangements to Italian soldiers (who weren’t buying), but they’ve pulled out, and when all Western soldiers are gone, the flower biz will dry up. This isn’t exactly “teaching them to fish” or modernizing them.

More:

U.S. taxpayers paid Afghan entrepreneur Ajmal Hasas millions of dollars as part of a plan to win over villages in the country’s insurgent heartlands. . . .

Mr. Hasas was a point man in a $400 million U.S. Agency for International Development campaign to build as much as 1,200 miles of roads in some of Afghanistan’s most remote and turbulent places.

Three years and nearly $270 million later, less than 100 miles of gravel road have been completed, according to American officials. More than 125 people were killed and 250 others were wounded in insurgent attacks aimed at derailing the project, USAID said. The agency shut down the road-building effort in December. . . . Whitney Houston, Tremendous Talent & Tragedy, RIP (Remember Her in Israel?)

By Debbie Schlussel

Osama Bin Laden wanted to marry her (as wife #13?) and was willing to drop his “color rule” for her.  Rush Limbaugh had a thing for her (he said so on his radio show).  And, today, Whitney Houston tragically died at the young age of 48 in Beverly Hills. And even just before her death, she still had the beauty of youth (as a teen, she modeled for Seventeen Magazine) and probably the voice, too. Houston originally came from a church background, singing gospel, and I will never forget how she chose to visit Israel with Bobby Brown, despite calls from many for her to boycott the Jewish State. She originally went there with the controversial “Black Hebrews” cult, but went with her then-husband and daughter to the Jordan River, where they were baptized (video at the end of this post). She and Brown also met with then-Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, again bucking the calls of the Israel-haters (but she refused to shake his hand – huh?).

Nice Yarmulke: Bobby, Whitney & Then-Israeli PM Ariel Sharon in the Evil Zionist Entity

Although we don’t yet know why Houston died so young and so suddenly, a life filled with drug addiction can’t be ruled out, even if she died of other causes.  A life of constant illegal drug use, including cocaine and crack, catches up with you in the end.  Such a tremendous, beautiful voice, such a tremendous talent, such beauty–all of it thrown away to smoke crack with Bobby Brown and have a kid with him.  The victim here is their daughter, Bobbi Kristina, who–as I’ve decried on this site–was forced to be part of their disgusting-beyond-relief reality show . . . and then their real-life reality, none of it good.

One of my guilty pleasures: I was a huge Whitney fan, back in the day before she essentially became Bobby Brown’s crack whore, and many of her top hits have always been and are still part of my workout music on my Zune and iPod. Wish I could’ve seen her in concert in her prime.  My favorites were “Love Will Save the Day,” “Queen of the Night,” “I’m Your Baby, Tonight,” and “My Name is Not Susan,” because people would often confuse me for my sister, Susan. My late father even liked her singing voice.  Nobody can deny that powerful voice–with such range and such strength to stay in such high octaves for such long notes–was one of the greats in contemporary music.  My all-time favorite Whitney Houston rendition was her Star-Spangled Banner/National Anthem delivery at the Super Bowl (during the Persian Gulf War in 1991), a version I’ve posted on this site, before, and which I post, again, below. It’s–in my opinion–the best Super Bowl national anthem rendition ever. Read the rest of this entry »

INTERESTING Video: Facebook Graffiti Artist Becomes a Quarter Billionaire

By Debbie Schlussel

I can’t feel sorry for David Choe, the Facebook multi-millionaire, who–by some accounts–is now worth over $250 million.  But I understand his complaints about privacy, and I find his story interesting.  It’s interesting because if I were in his shoes–when Facebook’s future fortunes were not exactly known–I wonder if I’d take the $60,000 he turned down as a starving artist for stock.  I think I probably would have made the same decision, but ya never know.  What would you do?

Huh? Navy Ship Named for American “Hero” . . . Gabby Giffords?!

By Debbie Schlussel

In a clearly political move, Gabby Giffords is getting a U.S. Navy ship named after her.  Huh???  I guess its the ultimate climax of the psychobabble nation we’ve become, especially over such instances as the Giffords shooting.

You know my feelings about former Congresschick Gabrielle Giffords, as I’ve articulated them on this site on several previous occasions.  I’m sorry she was shot, but she is no hero.   She is a victim, but did nothing heroic.  She survived a bullet to the head by the grace of G-d, not because she is special or did anything great.  And, as I’ve noted, she remained on the Congressional payroll for a year, accepting the best healthcare benefits, far beyond what the average taxpayer could expect, all while promoting a multi-million dollar book.  Well, as you know, she recently resigned from Congress, and I wish her well.  But a Navy ship????  What the heck did she do to deserve this?  I mean, other than being elevated to liberal human goddess status for no deserving reason.

Normally Navy ships are named for heroes, generals, dead Presidents. And Littoral Combat Ships, such as the one now named for this woman, are named for cities, NOT people.  Naming a ship for a minor Congresswoman because she was shot?  PUH-LEEZE.  It’s ridiculous.  Talk about dumbing down the Navy. Did the U.S. soldiers who were shot at an Arkansas recruiting center by a Muslim get a ship named after them?  NO.  Did any of the soldiers murdered by Islamic terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan get a Navy ship in their names?  NO.  So why does Giffords get one?  She lived and was shot at what was NOT a selfless service to America, but a re-election type of event at a supermarket (all town hall and constituent meetings held by Congresscritters are meant to appeal to voters to return them to office).

But what I forgot to mention is that she is one of the many ships Barack Obama intends to ride into the November election.  I would not be surprised if he doesn’t a campaign speech or other appearance disguised as an official Presidential visit on the ship to remind us about how horrible we “bitter gun and Bible clingers” are or to tell us how great Obamacare is.  It’s disgusting.  But I can just hear in my mind how it went down when the Obama minions told the Navy Secretary, in the midst of his social engineering program of women in Naval subs, that the next ship would be the Giffords Love Boat.

In yet another break with tradition, Navy Secretary Ray Mabus announced Friday that a new Littoral Combat Ship would be named for Gabrielle Giffords, the Arizona congresswoman who survived a January 2011 assassination attempt. Read the rest of this entry »

Wknd Box Office: Safe House, The Vow, W.E., Journey 2: Mysterious Island

By Debbie Schlussel

Incredible but true, I actually didn’t hate any of the new movies in theaters, today. But, two of them, I really liked.

*  “Safe House“: To my surprise, I really liked this (though I do really like Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds as actors). When, at the beginning of this movie, they describe rogue CIA operative Denzel Washington as first going off the reservation when he was believed to have leaked information to the Mossad, I wondered if this will be your typical Hollywood leftist anti-Israel fest. I wondered the same again when quick flashes of documents on a giant CIA projection screen show emblems of the Mossad and the Government of Israel. But, thankfully, it turned out not to be. In fact, without giving away movie spoilers, Washington’s dealings with Israeli intelligence turn out to be the thing that saves the day, in the end. While it’s vague positive stuff on Israel, from Hollywood that’s a big deal, since it’s usually the same old anti-Israel crap.

Even better is that the main bad guy you constantly see chasing after Washington–and who finally gets his–is very obviously, visibly an Arab. I was shocked that PC Hollywood would do this. Sure, in the credits, the guy is listed as “Vargas,” but he’s played by a Lebanese actor named Fares Fares. I smiled as the old Jewish couple behind me clapped and loudly cheered both times this guy gets shot. Glad to see that not all of my fellow co-religionists have turned left and Islamopologist. (Who was that Jewish couple? If you’re reading this, e-mail me!) Read the rest of this entry »

Crescent News Network: CNN Fires All Jewish Reporters in Israel; But No Tears for the Self-Haters

By Debbie Schlussel

Even self-hating, anti-Israel Jews have outlived their purpose in the anti-Israel mainstream media because, after all, they are Jooooos. So, now, in addition to people who express their dislike of David Beckham and pink clothes on Twitter, Jews are also on the CNN “no fly” list.

As longtime readers know, I’ve almost always referred to America’s Al-Jazeera a/k/a CNN by what it really stands for, “Crescent News Network,” or “Coran News Network.”  CNN’s Middle East Bureau Chief, Octavia Nasr, used anti-Semitic slurs against me and praised Hezbollah spiritual leader, Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah, upon his death, and it took CNN forever to finally let her go.  And now, CNN is officially the Judenrein network–Judenrein for even self-hating Juden.  From Jean-Patrick Grumberg of Dreuz.info:

We learned today that the Israeli branch of CNN, located in Jerusalem, is downsizing to cope with reduced income from less advertising.

What goes beyond good management is that CNN has fired four Israeli Jewish journalists (out of a crew of 8), and has retained only Arab journalists. Where, until now, CNN always sent a Jewish and an Arab journalist to cover information, now there will be only an Arab journalist. The local chief editor of the News Chanel is now Arabic. “Bourne Legacy” Trailer Debuts and – YAY! – No Matt Damon

By Debbie Schlussel

Like many of you, dear readers, I’m no fan of Matt Damon because of his far left politics and constant promotion of late Marxist Howard Zinn.  Plus, I just never bought this tiny girlie-mannish guy as Jason Bourne in the Bourne movies.  But, now, he’s gone, with Jeremy Renner playing the lead in the latest Bourne flick, “The Bourne Legacy,” which comes out, this summer. (The movie also features one of my new favorite actors, Oscar Isaac.)  I liked Renner in his star turn, “The Hurt Locker” (read my review).  And I think he can pull this off, too.  Whaddya think?
