How do you fight extremists on behalf of America?  You fund them to spread the extremism and forget about the America part.  At least that’s the Obama way.  And it continues.  Yes, it’s the new year on the calendar, but the behavior is same ol’, same ol’ with Barack Hussein Obama and his crew of dhimmis.  Millions of your tax dollars are being spent in Pakistan to try to “unteach” extremism and turn people against jihad (by funding people who actually teach jihad – YAY!).

What these dummies clearly don’t understand is that to do that, you need them to leave Islam, which preaches all these things–the extremism and jihad which are part and parcel of Islam–and at its heart–and cannot be separated out from it.  And while the authorities at the State Department wasting your money on these silly DVDs know this, they won’t dare admit that because that would admit that the problem is Islam, stupid.

Oh, and I almost forgot the BEST part! The money is going to “moderate” Muslim clerics to teach their people that jihad against American soldiers in Afghanistan is A-OK! This is brilliant. Obama’s U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan said so.

Sultan Mehmood Gujar was a solid supporter of Islamist militants fighting in Pakistan, Afghanistan and India and even donated money to them, until he attended an innovative 40-day lecture series by a moderate cleric aimed at countering violent extremism. Read the rest of this entry »

This is one of those stories that provides yet another reason people hate lawyers.  As a practicing lawyer myself, I know that sometimes law firms and lawyers take risks and do all the work in the case on the gamble that, if they win the case or it settles, they will get a contingency fee (usually a third of whatever the client is awarded).  It’s an investment of sorts.  But this case is ridiculous, with law firms involved earning $35,000 per hour that they worked on the case.  And, in this case, it was up to the court to award proper legal fees. And Leo Strine, chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery failed to perform his duty here. It’s also of note that the award was made in one of these shareholder lawsuits in which the only ones who end up winning are the lawyers, as companies pay out gazillions and the stock price often ends up plummeting as a result, regardless of the outcome of the suit.

The week before Christmas, two plaintiffs law firms got word that together they were awarded $300 million in fees for their work challenging a takeover deal.

The size of the fee, unusually high for shareholder cases, has bankers and lawyers buzzing about whether the Delaware Court of Chancery has become too generous to plaintiffs’ counsel, or is rightly rewarding them for their efforts. Read the rest of this entry »

I’ve alluded to this briefly before, but now it’s really sticking in my craw, since news arrived that Obama’s Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano a/k/a “The Lesbionic Woman” is taking her “see something, say something” BS to hockey fans.

I love hockey and once represented some NHL players.  And I also support encouraging citizens to report strange behavior by suspects–who, in this case, should generally be those of the Middle Easter and Muslim  kind, despite the Homeland Security BS that they are all White guys.

But the problem is this:  J-No’s and DHS’ “see something, say something” campaign is smoke and mirrors.  What they really mean is, if you see something, don’t say a thing because we’ll ignore you and do nothing, or treat you like a crazy bigot Islamophobe. Read the rest of this entry »

My favorite new political cartoonist is the multi-talented Fred Taub, the author of the “Pepy’s Coffee Shop” cartoons.  Below is one of his best, and it’s spot on.  Fred is also the expert behind Boycott Watch and the author of “Boycotting Peace: Why Divestment Is Turning Truth On Its Head,” the groundbreaking book on the pan-Muslim boycott against Israel and the anti-Semitic Boycott/Divestment/ Sanctions movement.  Fred is also a computer genius who did work for NASA. Aside from all of that, he also has a witty sense of humor. And this is just one example, with great commentary on Ron Paul.

It’s the end of the year, which means that I give you the magical sack of golden nuggets at the movies after a year of spending hours of my life sifting through a lot of dirt–and sitting in a dark movie theater–to find them.  For more recent readers, I stopped doing a Worst Movies of the Year list because it’s impossible to narrow down 50-plus equally horrid pieces of garbage to just ten.  I’d probably include 75-80% of the movies I saw this year on that list, as is more and more the case in recent years.  Some of the top movies on my list did not come out in 2011, but as a movie critic, I screened them this year, so if they’re among the best, they go on the list.  Also, there were some movies that didn’t make my top ten but which I enjoyed nonetheless and were the best in their genre, in my view.  I’ve linked to my complete original reviews on the title of each movie, and I’ve also provided a brief summary of each movie. 1)  “Warrior“:  Former alchoholic father (Nick Nolte) finds Christianity, and he and his two estranged sons come together in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) world.  Rocky for the 2010s.  Uplifting and patriotic.  Fun to watch and heartpounding every step of the way, once it gets going.

Yesterday, I posted Denis Leary’s hilarious “It’s Jihad, Farley Towne” video, in which Charlie Brown converts to Islam just in time for Christmas and learns what the 72 virgins are all about.  I asked how long it would take until HAMAS’ CAIR and other Muslims issued a fatwah against him and started the whining and demands.  Well, as I correctly predicted, not long at all.

Denis Leary released a radical Islamist parody of A Charlie Brown Christmas several years ago, but that hasn’t stopped several groups from taking issue with it now. Just days after the comedian reposted a video on his WhoSay site in which Charlie copes with his doubts about Christianity by converting to Islam and building a flawed bomb, several have condemned the video, claiming it encourages an Islamophobic attitude. As I’ve repeatedly said before, American Muslims are NO different than Muslims on the streets of Riyadh, Cairo, Benghazi, and Bint Jbeil.  They are just as extreme, and the American border is a fiction of convenience for them, NOT something that magically moderates them.  That some of them may wear Levis or a business suit or eat at halal McDonald’s and shop at Target or Islamic Wal-Mart doesn’t make them more “Western” or any less supportive of HAMAS and Hezbollah.  Far too many of them are Muslims first, second, and 124th.  And so it goes with the friends of Abdel Hameed Shehadeh.

Shehadeh, a terrorist wannabe caught by the NYPD and questioned by the feds in Hawaii, outed a number of his Muslim friends and neighbors in New York, all of them involved in terrorist activity, whether it was fundraising or some other way of enabling jihad in America. (Read the Federal Criminal Complaint against Shehadeh.) Oh, and like many of his co-jihadists, Shehadeh tried to infiltrate the U.S. military and nearly succeeded but for a lie about some trips he made. You can bet, if he was straight-forward about trips overseas, he’d have been inducted and probably blown up some American soldiers by now. And one of the jihadists he named is already in the U.S. Army. Unfortunately, the New York Daily News, which has a document that is now under seal in federal court, is protecting the identities of the Muslim terrorism enablers in our midst. Details below:

A Terrorist wanna-be from Staten Island ratted out dozens of people he called pro-jihadists in New York and Hawaii after he was arrested by the FBI-NYPD Joint Terrorist Task Force, it was revealed Tuesday.

Abdel Hameed Shehadeh was a fount of information when lawmen interrogating him last year in Honolulu showed him more than 40 photos of possible evildoers, according to court papers filed in Brooklyn Federal Court. Read the rest of this entry »

One of the few liberal actors who didn’t become a 9/11 truther and actually kinda/sorta gets it on Islam is Denis Leary of the recently canceled, “Rescue Me.”  He put together this hilarious video, “It’s Jihad, Farley Towne,” a parody of the Charlie Brown holiday specials and what happens when Charlie converts to Islam. The last scene is the BEST!  Must watch.  (I tried to embed the code from Denis’ site but it won’t stop autoplay and can’t be fixed. Sorry, Denis, if you read this, please e-mail me.)

So, how long until HAMAS financier CAIR demands that Denis apologize and meet with them for sensitivity training while, at the same time, winking and nodding at foreign Islamic fatwahs against him? 3-2-1 . . . .

Museum exhibits, art, and historical monuments–or what now parades as such–are stark examples of how far our nation has declined.  I’ve written about absurd “art shows” featuring illegal alien trash from the Arizona desert and dumb “historical markers” showing the parking structure where “Deep Throat” squealed to journalists about Watergate.   But it gets worse.  Now, Occupy Wall Street garbage will be an exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution.  Ludicrous.
