You know my frequent “I Read the Women’s Mags, So You Don’t Have To” updates? Well, cross one of the lefty women’s fashion mags off the list and celebrate.
Say buh-bye to JANE Magazine. After almost 10 years, the magazine founded by vapid lefty fashion editor Jane Pratt will leave the shelves at your local drugstore after the August issue. Among its greatest “contributions” to America: a monthly column by silicone valley Pamela Anderson.

I, myself, am celebrating this news of one less pollution source for the minds of young American women . . . even though JANE has given me a frequent fertile fodder for this site and other avenues over the years. The most egregious incident was JANE’s approving publication of an article glorifying arranged marriages for widow/baby machines of Hezbollah martyrs in Lebanon and what a great live that is. Odd coming from a feminist magazine. Even more odd, given that the article originally was published in Hezbollah’s official newspaper and JANE didn’t let you know that.
Most recently, I had fun with , who call themselves “the Top-free Ten” (there are five of them; ten is for the number of breasts).
Even though JANE is soon gone, there is plenty of similar fodder in the rest of the fashion glossies for women that pollute the magazine stand, including plenty equally egregious publications by JANE publisher Conde Nast.
Buh-bye, JANE. Don’t let the door hit you on your way out.

In general, Adam Sandler comedies start out with a funny premise but end up being stupid movies. I’m hoping “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan”–which begins shooting in September and comes out in 2008–will be different. Its premise sounds funny.
The film–written by Sandler, Judd Apatow, and the always funny Robert Smigel–is about an Israeli Mossad agent who fakes his death to realize his lifelong dream of becoming a hairdresser in New York. When he discovers that the Manhattan salon at which he works is owned by his Palestinian terrorist nemesis, he is pressed back into action.
Reader Andrew, whose acquaintance has been cast in “Zohan,” writes:

In a comedic side plot, Sandler’s character keeps giving a fellow hair-stylist tips on how to pick up women, not realizing that his coworker is gay. My colleague’s brother plays the gay coworker.

While it sounds promising, one hint that it may not be is the signing of pop singer Maria Carey to play herself. Sandler’s fellow SNL alum, Rob Schneider, has also been cast.
When I initially read Andrew’s tip, I expected it to be yet another film by a leftist Jewish Hollywood type, who is not exactly pro-Israel (plus I find Judd Apatow and his movies to be completely tasteless and stupid). But Andrew points out that Adam Sandler is not only very pro-Israel, but, last year (during the Israel-Hezbollah war), he donated 400 Sony Playstations to children in Israel, whose homes had been damaged by Hezbollah rockets.
So, yes, Muslims. You can now add Adam Sandler to your “Evil Zionist” boycott list.

New James Bond director Marc Forster announced plans to direct a new movie, “Land of the Roses,” about PKK .
Problem is, you won’t hear a thing about his terrorist activity. While James Bond is busy fighting fictional terrorists, his director is busy whitewashing the real-life version:

Inspired by the real-life experiences of Kurdish immigrant Ibrahim Parlak in post-Sept. 11 America, the story line follows a suburban mother who, with the support of her fellow outraged townspeople, attempts to exonerate a hardworking Middle Eastern father falsely imprisoned as a terrorist by Homeland Security.

Whitewashes Islamic Terrorist Ibrahim Parlak
But readers of this site know–from when I –that Ibrahim Parlak is anything but an innocent man who was falsely imprisoned. He is a terrorist through and through and got caught lying about it, multiple times. Here’s a brief reality check (read a more in-depth description from ):
Two courts–a Federal Immigration Court (in a thorough SIXTY page decision by ) and )–found that Parlak is an Islamic terrorist. The three-judge BIA panel held that Parlak is a terrorist, persecutor, and liar–upholding these charges against him: committing or inciting to commit terrorist activities; soliciting funds for terrorist activities; and providing material support for terrorist activities.
He is an admitted member and fundraiser of the Islamic terrorist group PKK, so designated by the U.S. government. Marxist-Leninist insurgent Kurds, PKK is responsible for the death of more than 30,000 innocent people, including over 5,000 civilians. Some of these civilian victims’ “transgressions” were teaching Turkish in school or being moderate Kurdish landlords.
PKK worked and trained with Al-Qaeda and murdered even fellow Kurds who did not speak in Kurdish. Parlak admittedly trained in Islamic terrorist training camps in Syria. He was held responsible for the murder of two Turkish border guards and threw a grenade on the ground. But when he came here and sought asylum, Parlak conveniently forgot about all this and lied about it–FIVE times–on various applications for a Green Card, U.S. citizenship, and various government licenses.
Parlak was ordered deported by the federal government and the Executive Office of Immigration Review (the official name of immigration court). Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Detention and Removal Office in Michigan/Ohio did its job by arresting Parlak and trying to deport him. Agents were ordered to do so because he is here illegally and lied to stay here.
And by the way, Parlak’s case is now before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and won’t likely be decided for a while (as in, not before the movie comes out). The making of this propaganda whitewash of Ibrahim Parlak can only be for two purposes: to favorably influence the Court to allow Parlak to stay here. And to favorably influence Congress to grant Parlak instant citizenship.
As I’ve written, far-left Democrat Senator Carl Levin–who loves to see Islamic terrorists get U.S. citizenship (he successfully pressured Clinton to grant citizenship to )–and wimpy, RINO Republican Congressman Fred Upton are .
I blame the Department of Homeland Security for this movie. While Parlak’s lawyers are consistently at full force with the media, DHS spokespeople barely made a peep out of Headquarters. To date, they’ve mounted no potent PR campaign against Parlak, leaving it to me to do their job for them. As usual. (Why do they never defend their agents for doing their jobs and enforcing the law?)
Then, after Parlak lost in Immigration Court, DHS officials at the top ordered ICE agents to treat Parlak with kid gloves, to the point where even he told the press what first-class treatment and convenience he was being accorded, so that he’d have no incentive to leave the country. He was allowed to report to ICE officials on his side of the State of Michigan, granted all kinds of allowances with regard to operating his business, etc.
This is how we treat illegal alien Islamic terrorists while they game the system? Well, actually, it is. Especially when your lawyer is at the same firm from which the Secretary of Homeland Security emanated. Parlak’s main lawyer is from ‘s former law firm (at which he was a full partner). Membership has its privileges.
A brief word about the other people surrounding Parlak, since you can tell a lot about a person by the company he keeps: Parlak’s brother was also here illegally and was recently deported. Parlak’s lawyer, Noel Saleh, is an admitted Hezbollah donor and heads an Arab welfare agency that was raided by the FBI for fraudulently providing pregnant Muslim aliens with Medicaid. Parlak also has an illegitimate daughter. Yup, like many illegal aliens he fathered a child out of wedlock, who now has birthright citizenship–an anchor baby.
The title of the movie, “Land of the Roses,” is the English translation for latter part of the name of Parlak’s West Michigan restaurant, “Cafe Gulistan.”
But the only thing involving roses here is the color of the glasses through which these dupes are seeing the world–and Parlak’s case.
One other note: As I’ve repeatedly noted, Parlak’s most famous champion is film critic Roger Ebert. Since Roger is the most influential movie critic in America, one wonders what role he had in getting Hollywood to pursue this project. I’m going to ask him and let you know what his response is. UPDATE: Roger Ebert informs me that he has nothing to do with this film. In fact, he was unaware of it until I asked.

There’s a reason I call Department of Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff, He not only looks like a snake. He is one.
Tomorrow, in Detroit for the NAACP national convention, Chertoff will take his shoes off–and any sense of discretion–and attend the Karbalaa Islamic Educational Center, the Dearbornistan mosque headed by open Hezbollah supporter and Iranian agent, . And Chertoff will be kissing ass. . . er, meeting with Al-Husainy and sundry other Islamic extremists, who should have long ago been deported.

As you’ll recall, I’ve written a lot about Al-Husainy over the years. I mentioned him two years ago in the Wall Street Journal. More recently, I wrote about Al-Husainy, last year, when I went undercover to a closed Hezbollah rally, and I wrote at the beginning of the year after Saddam Hussain’s hanging, and later, when ‘s winter meeting, including in the New York Post ().
Since Al-Husainy has been an open supporter of Hezbollah and anti-Semitic hate, it’s an outrage that Chertoff would go to Dearbornistan to kiss his ass.
But it’s especially an outrage since agents in Chertoff’s own department are well-versed on Al-Husainy, who has made several recent trips to Iran (his son went, but traveled separately), and who is believed to be sending millions of dollars overseas–perhaps to terrorists–in violation of the Patriot Act. It is well-known that Al-Husainy–who is a supporter of the Jaish Al-Mahdi (the Mahdi Army terrorist group) and its leader Moqtada Al-Sadr (they are holding an American soldier hostage)–is an agent of the Ahmadinejad government in Iran. (He also advised Iranian-backed candidates for Iraqi Prime Minister and Parliament.) And he has publicly engaged in all kinds of conspiracy theories against America, Israel, and Jews, er . . . “Zionists.”
One other thing on Al-Husainy: Last summer, he coordinated the trips of Nturei Kartah Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss and other rabbis to come repeatedly to Detroit for , at one of which, Al-Husainy remarked, “We make a great time, don’t we?” of the Rabbis. They later appeared at an Iranian Holocaust Denial Conference hosted by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Since no-one believes that these trips have been self-financed by the fringe, self-hating rabbis, it is believed that Al-Husainy is the conduit for Iranian funding for the rabbis.
Did J. Edgar Hoover meet with Al Capone and kiss his ass? Did any federal law enforcement chiefs hang with the Nazis for a drink? No. Because Hoover et al actually knew a little something about law enforcement. And it involved arresting criminals and being tough on America’s enemies within. NOT being their personal pander bear. Or, in Chertoff’s case, their friendly Serpenthead.

Israeli columnist and reporter Chagai Hoberman of Israeli Hebrew-language newspaper HaZofe (pronounced HAH-TSOH-FEH) reports that Hezbollah–NOT Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah–now controls the terrorist group Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.
In his column, “Duach” [Report], Hoberman reports that Israeli Security Services say that Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorists they have picked up in “West Bank” cities, like Shechem, over the past several years, have received weapons, money, and training from Hezbollah. In addition, they say Hezbollah–not Abbas’ Fatah–controls them (yet they are, likely, still allied with Fatah . . . for now). It’s a very disturbing development because Hezbollah now has a significant cancer, er . . . presence inside Israel.

This is yet another reason why you, the American taxpayer, should oppose Bush Administration efforts to send more money and weapons to Abbas and Fatah. Eventually the money–and the weapons–will end up in Hezbollah’s hands. Propping Abbas up, props up Hezbollah (even though Al-Aqsa Martyrs are not under Fatah’s control, they are, likely allied with it, right now).
Additionally, Hezbollah’s presence inside Israel is significant. How are the Al Aqsa Martyrs getting to and from South Lebanon (Israel’s Northern border? via Jordan and Syria?)? And why is it so easy for them to smuggle money and weaponry into the country from there?
Finally, Hoberman reports that Abbas’ Palestinian Authority Police and Security chief, Mohammed Dahlan (who has helped and enabled terrorists carry out their operations against Israel in the past) is blaming America and Israel for his loss of Gaza. He claims that America did not teach him to focus on fighting HAMAS, and, instead, he focused on fighting and killing Jews in Israel. MOST important is the real reason he failed to fight and defeat HAMAS: Dahlan says that he is mad at HAMAS because he protected many top key HAMAS terrorist leaders from the Israelis. This is Israel’s new “peace partner,” to whom they will give and give ’til it hurts at the upcoming Arab states conference. Idiocy.
Also of note, 60,000 of Dahlan’s Fatah men–and tons of American money and high-tech weapons–failed to defeat 15,000 motivated, far less-equipped HAMAS fighters. Why do America and Israel believe the result will be different in the “West Bank”?

Although the buzz about Michael Moore’s “” has pretty much died down (though he’s making an appearance at the NAACP national convention in Detroit, today, to discuss/screen it), this letter to the editor by David L. Streeter of Rocklin, California, in today’s Wall Street Journal says it all:

Regarding the commentary on Michael Moore’s attempted documentary: Our family has experienced Canadian health care first-hand, having lived in the Toronto area three years and returning last summer to the U.S. I had to wait seven months to schedule an annual physical with our family doctor. Our young son suffered a hairline fracture in his foot playing soccer. No crutches were issued — just orders to stay off the foot for a few days and wait for any adverse x-ray findings; we were not notified until one week after the exam. Neighbors with hockey wear-and-tear told stories of scheduling MRIs at 1 a.m. due to limited equipment availability. I wouldn’t trade my employer-funded U.S. health insurance for social-funded medicine. Canadian medicine was indeed paperless but did not offer easy access to basic medical services that we’ve come to expect in the U.S. Besides the medicine (and the winters), the Canadian living experience and people were great. Just too much government.

Shame on Enrique Iglesias. His name should be the celebrity definition of Dhimmi because he did what no other celebrity from the West–no matter how vapid–has done in over 30 years.
Last week, while we were celebrating our great nation’s independence from tyranny, Iglesias (son of Julio) helped enable tyranny. On the Fourth of July (of all days), he performed in Syria and made no comment or criticism whatsoever about the country’s presence on the State Department Terrorist List, its role as host to the headquarters of virtually every Islamic terrorist group, its cooperation with fellow Terrorist-State Iran and terrorist group Hezbollah to murder thousands in Lebanon, its lack of human rights, and its murder of thousands of its own people (in Hama) and Christians and Jews in Syria, Lebanon, and Israel. Not one word from Iglesias about how Syria helped Hezbollah murder 300 U.S. Marines and civilians in Beirut, while they slept.

There’s a reason why the uncle of the current Syrian President, Rifaat El-Assad, is known as “The Butcher of Hama.” In 1982, he murdered over 20,000 residents of and flattened the entire town of Hama, all under the sanctioning eye of the patriarch of the ruling Assad dictator family, the late Hafez El-Assad (father of current leader/President Bashar Assad).
But don’t tell it to Iglesias. He and his Syrian escorts gloated over each other. He told SANA, the state-run Syrian News Agency:

I came to Syria on my personal desire.

Then, he went on a personal tour of Damascus, accompanied by his Syrian propagandist minders.
To hear this idiot dhimmi pop star, Syria is a democratic bastion of peace and understanding. And you know that he was warned otherwise. His own words say so:

Iglesias said he wasn’t concerned about performing in Syria, “although many people have told me not to.”

Gee, I wonder why “many people” told him not to. Unfortunately, one of those people was not his British business manager, Peter Brightman, who loves Syria and orchestrated this absurdity. His manager fell for the facade:

One of the things that had amazed him was the sound of the call for prayers that was heard from mosques and the sounds of church bells showing that Muslims and Christians live in harmony with one another.
Brightman had decided to extend his stay to Syria to be able to visit as many historical sites as possible. Once the trip ended, Brightman headed to the United States of America, where Enrique resides, and an official acceptance letter to perform at the proposed event was sent from the singer.

Oh, and by the way, it appears Enrique Iglesias helped raise money for terrorists. The money raised from the concert will likely go to finance terrorism, perhaps Syrian-based Al-Qaeda insurgents against American soldiers or Syrian-hosted terrorist attacks against innocent Jews and Christians in Lebanon and Syria:

The concert was organized by private company LiBaladi, but other private Syrian companies and Syrian expatriates helped with the financing. Revenues, according to organizers, will go to Syrian charities.

“Syrian charities” means organizations that openly fund terrorism, as is commonly done by Islamic charities around the world and especially in “Mr. Assad’s Neighborhood,” ie., Syria.
Now that Iglesias has opened the door to performing in Syria, watch for more dhimmis like him from the West to also fete the country known as Terrorist Central. FYI, at the Damascus concert, Iglesias sang his song, “Love to See You Cry.” Yes, he must love to help legitimize the torture and murder of others, because that’s exactly what he did by performing there.
Some may think girlie-man Iglesias is good-looking, but it’s time for his American audience–mostly teen-age girls–AND his girlfriend, Anna Kournikova, to dump this vessel. Looks are skin-deep, but his idiocy and dhimmitude is ugly and forever.
One of Iglesias’ best known hits is “Hero,” but he’s made clear by legitimizing and turning a blind eye to the patron-state of Islamic terrorism, that he’s anything but a hero. Looking forward to Iglesias’ revamped cover of his father’s hit single, “To All the Islamic Terrorists I’ve Love Before.”
Congress requires companies that do business with countries on the State Department terrorist list to file reports detailing their dealings. Since I’d bet Iglesias and his touring entourage are incorporated, I can’t wait to read his report.
Until then (and even after), BOYCOTT Enrique Iglesias. No American should give another penny to the coffers of Syria’s new American pop music bitch-boy.

Yet another Muslim Doctor Terrorist on our soil. And still Michael “Serpenthead” Chertoff does nothing. In fact, he let the doctor flee the country, after he murdered his non-Muslim wife.
Meet Dr. Yazeed Essa, a Palestinian Medical Doctor of Gates Mills, Ohio. In 2005, he poisoned his pregnant 38-year-old wife, Rosemarie, with cyanide. She crashed her car and died. Dr. Essa fled to Lebanon and then traveled to Cyprus, where he was arrested, last October.

A Cypriot court, last week, miraculously agreed to extradite him back to the U.S., on the condition that he does not face the death penalty. (Cyprus was P.L.O. headquarters and remains a key meeting place and residential location for Islamic terrorists. It is not sympathetic to America.) Dr. Essa is now appealing to the Cypress Supreme Court to overturn the extradition order of the lower court. We’ll see what happens. Don’t hold your breath.
Ironically, Essa (pronounced “EE-Suh,” despite the incorrect pronunciation on a certain clueless national cable news network I like to call ) means “Jesus” in Arabic.
But instead of turning the other cheek to doctors like this, America, should be closing the door to more Muslim doctors coming to America. We have no way of differentiating between the honest ones and those who have evil motives like those in Britain and , already on our shores.
Doctors like Essa, themselves, certainly aren’t turning the other cheek, once they get here. Nope. They’re turning the knife.
(Also spelled Issa, the Palestinian Muslim Issa clan is well-known to support extremist Sunni terrorist groups and some of its relatives here in America have made large donations to charities, like LIFE for Relief and Development, which launder money to HAMAS and Al-Qaeda terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan.)
**** UPDATE: When I initially wrote my list of Terrorist Muslim Doctors, I forgot several people I’ve known and/or written about. There are so many. One of them is Dr. Azizul Islam, a Muslim Medical Doctor who resided in the Detroit area from Asia. He murdered and dismembered his wifeand was convicted in 1999. He’s currently in prison.
I also forgot . The Muslim Medical Doctor from Syria, who lives in the Detroit area, has a history of support of terrorist groups in his capacities and head of the now-defunct American Muslim Council (whose founder and Chairman sits in federal prison for terrorist activities and a plot to murder the Saudi King) and the American Muslim Alliance. Unfortunately, President Bush and the Michigan Republican Party remain close to Dr. Basha, even accepting free rental of office space from him. From my , you’ll see that his record as a doctor has come under fire, too:

Dr. Basha, who also appeared [at a 2004 CAIR-Michigan candidate forum], at the “personal request” of the Bush White House, was the national president of the now-defunct, extremist American Muslim Council, now defunct because its founder and Chairman, Abdurahman Alamoudi, sits in jail for involvement with terrorists and for plotting to kill the Saudi Crown Prince (paid to do so by Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi). AMC honored, supported, and endorsed terrorists tied to HAMAS, Al-Qaeda, and the like. Basha is now president of the American Muslim Alliance, another radical group. Incredibly, Welday’s GOP Committee is located in Basha’s Royal Oak, Michigan building. One wonders what the rental deal is, what Basha got in return.
It’s tough to be on top of everything when you’re helping connect the Prez with terror supporters. Maybe that’s why a recent FDA inspection of his nearby facility revealed “serious compromise in the quality of the mammography services offered.”

It’s no surprise that you can’t believe anything you read or hear from the deceptively-named American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC). Everytime they utter or type anything, they lie.
Over the weekend, the national, Muslim-dominated, pan-terrorist organization sent out a press release claiming that it’s Midwest Regional Director, “former” Islamic terrorist, marriage fraud perpetrator (for a green card), and eternal FBI award revokee (and ), , was appointed to the U.S. Civil Rights Commission. Readers of this site–and I, myself–nearly had a heart attack. But, in fact, even President Bush–as completely boneheaded as he is–is not that boneheaded. (The President appoints members of the U.S. Civil Rights Commission.)

Imad Hamad was NOT appointed to the U.S. Rights Commission, contrary to the press release he and his group sent out. He was merely appointed to a far less important Michigan advisory committee, which is not appointed by the President and is, thankfully, of little import and power.
Still, that, in and of itself, is a tragedy. The man should not even be in this country. As , Hamad was a Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist (there was video of him involved in PFLP activity on U.S. soil), openly endorses Islamic “martyrdom” for three-year-olds as “patriotic,” and is under investigation for his apparent involvement in terrorist money-laundering schemes. He is tightly connected with an Islamic charity, LIFE for Relief and Development, which openly funded HAMAS, and apparently funded Al-Qaeda insurgent terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan (the charity was raided by the FBI, last year).
This is not the first time that Imad Hamad and his group have sent out a lie as a press release (and it won’t be the last). As you’ll recall, last year, I wrote about how he and his group . Not true. Never happened. The charity remains under investigation to date. But that didn’t stop the dhimmi media from reporting the press release, from this interest group for terrorists, as fact.
