Nastier Than We Want ‘Em 2 B: Dennis Rodman & Billionaire Marc Cuban Encourage Pimping

By Debbie Schlussel
Last week, I warned you about Dennis Rodman–the aptly-nicknamed “The Worm”–who won’t go away. As I noted, he’s back with “Geek to Freak,” a cable show on HDNet in which he says he’ll take nerdy people “for a walk on the wild side.”
Well, the wild side was even worse than I thought. And it gives new meaning to the titles of the books someone once ghost-wrote for him, “Bad as I Wanna Be,” and “I Should Be Dead By Now.”
Rodman is actually taking Americans into criminal enterprises, like pimping. Are authorities watching? Here’s more on the execrable Rodman’s sewerage from USA Today “Sports on TV” columnist, Michael Hiestand, who calls it “Inspiration” (hopefully, he’s being facetious):

markcuban.jpgdennisrodmangeektofreaksmaller.jpg

Mark Cuban & Dennis Rodman:

World’s Most Annoying Sports Fan & Athlete Encourage Pimping

We’re not making this up: HDNet officially describes this show, where the ex-NBA star “takes ordinary people” and “pushes them to take on experiences,” as Rodman taking “his devilish turn at outing a secretary as a stripper, a construction worker as a cross-dresser ‚Äî taking his volunteers into bondage, oil wrestling, sex, drugs, rock ‘n roll ‚Äî even pimping!” Cuban, the Dallas Mavericks owner, promises the show takes Rodman’s “freakiness to new levels.” And it’s about time.

No, it’s actually NOT time for this. Ever.
Thanks to bratty billionaire Marc Cuban for pimping this excrement on the American public through his HDNet. One wonders whether he’d like his young daughter taken to “new levels” of “freakiness” by Dennis Rodman. Somehow, I doubt it.
First, Cuban makes a movie sympathetic to homicide bombing Islamic terrorists on U.S. soil, then a movie about a Syrian Muslim falsely accused of assassinating President Bush. And now, he’s contributing to the further homicide bombing, assassination of basic American morals.
E-mail Marc Cuban to let him know what you think.

Liberal Juan Williams Agrees With Schlussel on Obama Muslim Background

By Debbie Schlussel
So, now, will all the far-left websites condemning me on my December post about Barack Hussein’s Muslim background, condemn liberal National Public Radio and FOX News commentator Juan Williams? First, the Hillary camp agrees with me, and now Juan Williams, who said:

He comes from a father who was a Muslim. I mean, I think that given we’re at war with Muslim extremists, that presents a problem.

Amen, Juan.

islamiccrescent.jpgbarackobama.jpg

More from the Washington Examiner’s Bill Sammon, who repeats a lot of what I’ve said on this site, but gives a little fresh info, too (I’ve skipped the stuff I already wrote about). I was right on the money about Obama’s sympathies and loyalties. To whom will he be more sympathetic and loyal–his Muslim family members or you? If you picked you, your ego needs a deflation (and your brain, an inflation):

Obama – whose father, stepfather, brother and grandfather were Muslims – explained his own first name, Barack, in “Dreams”: “It means ‘Blessed.’ In Arabic. [DS: Plagiarized from the Hebrew, “Baruch.”] My grandfather was a Muslim.”
In his second memoir, “The Audacity of Hope,” Obama added: “Although my father had been raised a Muslim, by the time he met my mother he was a confirmed atheist.”
Still, when his father, a black Kenyan named Barack Obama Sr., died in 1982, “the family wanted a Muslim burial,” Obama quoted his brother, Roy, as saying in “Dreams.”
The statement put out by Obama’s office last week referred to his father simply as “an atheist,” without mentioning his Muslim upbringing. . . .
Obama’s grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama, for whom the senator was given his middle name, Hussein, was fiercely devoted to Islam, according to an account in “Dreams.” The grandfather, who died in 1979, was described by his widow when Obama visited Kenya in the late 1980s.
“What your grandfather respected was strength. Discipline,’ Obama quoted his grandmother as telling him. “This is also why he rejected the Christian religion, I think.
“For a brief time, he converted, and even changed his name to Johnson. But he could not understand such ideas as mercy towards your enemies, or that this man Jesus could wash away a man’s sins.
“To your grandfather, this was foolish sentiment, something to comfort women,” she added. “And so he converted to Islam – he thought its practices conformed more closely to his beliefs.”
When Obama was 2 years old, his parents divorced and his father moved away from the family’s home in Hawaii. Four years later, his mother married an Indonesian man, Lolo Soetoro, who moved his new wife and stepson to Jakarta.
“During the five years that we would live with my stepfather in Indonesia, I was sent first to a neighborhood Catholic school and then to a predominately Muslim school,” [DS: the one Obama is now claiming is a “public” school] Obama wrote in “Audacity.” “In our household, the Bible, the Koran, and the Bhagavad Gita sat on the shelf.’
Obama’s stepfather was a practicing Muslim.
“Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths,” Obama recalled. . . .
“It was to Lolo that I turned to for guidance and instruction,” Obama recalled. “He introduced me as his son.”
Although Obama wrote of “puzzling out the meaning of the muezzin’s call to evening prayer,” he was not raised as a Muslim, according to the senator’s office. Nor was he raised as a Christian by his mother, a white American named Ann Dunham who was deeply skeptical of religion.
“Her memories of the Christians who populated her youth were not fond ones,” Obama wrote. . . .
Later in life, however, he was drawn to the writings of an influential American Muslim who served as the spokesman for the militant Nation of Islam.
“Malcolm X’s autobiography seemed to offer something different,” Obama wrote. “His repeated acts of self-creation spoke to me; the blunt poetry of his words, his unadorned insistence on respect, promised a new and uncompromising order, martial in its discipline, forged through sheer force of will.”
He added: “Malcolm’s discovery toward the end of his life, that some whites might live beside him as brothers in Islam, seemed to offer some hope of eventual reconciliation.”
While working as a community organizer for a group of churches in Chicago, Obama was repeatedly asked to join Christian congregations, but begged off.
“I remained a reluctant skeptic, doubtful of my own motives, wary of expedient conversion, having too many quarrels with God to accept a salvation too easily won,” he wrote. . . .
Obama’s family connections to Islam would endure, however. For example, his brother Roy opted for Islam over Christianity, as Obama recounted when describing his 1992 wedding.
“The person who made me proudest of all,” Obama wrote, “was Roy. Actually, now we call him Abongo, his Luo name, for two years ago he decided to reassert his African heritage. He converted to Islam, and has sworn off pork and tobacco and alcohol.”
Meanwhile, Obama remained sharply critical of what he called ‘the religious absolutism of the Christian right.” . . .
Obama calls the Iraq war “a botched and ill-advised U.S. military incursion into a Muslim country.” He is also protective of civil rights for Muslims in the U.S.
“In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans ‚Ķ have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging,” he laments. “I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

But the ugliest direction of all is the blind fluctuation to a Barack Hussein Obama Presidential candidacy.

The Feingold Anti-Profiling Bill Poster Boy: Who is Steve Mustapha Elturk?

By Debbie Schlussel
Virtually every mainstream media news outlet is covering Senator Russ Feingold’s announcement that he will re-introduce a absurd bill prohibiting “racial profiling by law enforcement.”
But this isn’t “driving while Black,” and it’s not about “race” at all. It’s about religion, ie., the Muslim religion.
Cited in every story is one Steve Mustapha Elturk, who is identified as “an imam in Troy, Michigan”:

mustaphaelturk.jpgrussfeingold.jpg

“Steve” Mustapha Elturk & Senator Russ Feingold:

Extremist Muslims & Idiot Senators Should be Profiled More, NOT Less

Steve Mustapha Elturk, an imam in Troy, Mich., said he would welcome a ban on racial profiling. He said U.S. authorities have detained him four times since Sept. 11, 2001 – twice at the Canadian border and twice while traveling by air – even though he has done nothing wrong.
“It is pathetic for an American citizen who has spent more than half his life in this country to have to fly fearing that I will be stopped and interrogated,” said Elturk, 52, who was born in Lebanon. “This is not the country I came to know.”

What Mustapha Elturk (Steve is just his adopted American nickname to make us think this extremist is “just like us”) really means is:

This country is not as gullible as I came to know. (But close enough.)

Elturk is exactly the kind of guy we should be profiling. He openly supports Hezbollah and HAMAS. He is the founder of a new extremist mosque in Warren, Michigan. The mosque was originally rejected by the Warren City Council because a lot of smart people live in Warren, and they worried that his mosque would embrace terrorist groups. Unfortunately, Islamist lawyers and the U.S. Department of Justice–which doesn’t believe in the democratic process in Warren, when it doesn’t get the right PC results–breathed down the neck of Warrenites, promising a federal lawsuit. And the Warren City council caved.
Elturk founded the nebulously named Islamic Organization of North America to get the new mosque approved without scrutiny. But federal agents tell me that it’s just a new name for the same old Islamic extremist groups.
Last year, I attended a “Meet Your New Neighbors” community event in Warren held to answer questions about Elturk’s new mosque. I asked him if he would condemn HAMAS. No. I asked if he would condemn Hezbollah. Nope. I asked if he would condemn Hezbollah’s murder of 300 U.S. Marines and civilians in Beirut. No way. He and CAIR-Michigan chief, Dawud Walid (more about him later, this week), said homicide bombings are not terrorism, that they are justified against those who are “at war with us.”
Elturk also identifies himself as a member of “Tanzeem e-Islami,” (the Islamic Organization) and in the name of that group delivers lectures with the title, “Why are Muslims Humiliated and what is the Way Out.” Not exactly comforting, given the topic, and the fact that another Tanzeem, a faction of Fatah terrorists, murdered Jews and other innocent civilians at random on behalf of Yasser Arafat and the Palestinian Authority. Most of them are now part of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade.
Elturk objects to profiling, when profiling was designed for exactly this type of man–the type of man who believes violence against innocents–no matter where in the world (even in America)–is justified.
That the extremist, bearded, thobe-wearing Elturk was only detained four times at the border and airports is disappointing. That means he wasn’t on many other occasions. That Elturk is Feingold’s new national poster boy against profiling tells us exactly why he’s among the most clueless Senators, Harvard degree notwithstanding.
It also tells us that Russ Feingold needs to be profiled, too. Liberal Dhimmiwit U.S. Senators who bend over backward–and forward–for our enemies are extremely dangerous. And a threat to this country’s national security.

ICE Official Hangs @ Hezbollah Club to Fete Islamofascists’ Phony MLK Event

By Debbie Schlussel
I almost forgot. Tonight is the Islamofascist, terror-supporting American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee’s Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest Awards Banquet at the Bint Jebail Cultural Center a/k/a the “Hezbollah Social Club” in Dearbornistan. And our “favorite” Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Special Agent in Charge, ICE Dhimmiwit Brian Moskowitz a/k/a “Abu Moskowitz” is expected to be in Islamopandering attendance.

imadhamadafat.jpgabumoskhamad.gifabumoskowitzhijab.jpg

The Best of Cronies: Former Terrorist Imad Hamad w/ICE’s Abu Moskowitz

Remember the event? As I noted previously (see here also), it’s a phony essay contest about Dr. King used by Islamofascists to try to buy acceptance (and claim that their “struggle” is equal to the true struggle of Black Americans), when their views on Israel (and on Blacks) are far different than his. It’s the contest that’s only open to Arabs (not Blacks). And it’s at the club about which I wrote, which was founded and is run by open Hezbollah supporters from the Hezbollah stronghold of Bint Jbeil, Lebanon. And it’s hosted by Abu Moskowitz crony, “former” Islamic terrorist, and eternal FBI award revokee, Imad Hamad.
So why are ICE chieftess Julie L. Myers a/k/a “The ICE Princess” and Moskowitz’s direct boss, Marcy Forman-Friedman a/k/a “Peppermint Patty” allowing–and even encouraging!–Abu Moskowitz to continue attending these Islamopandering events hosted by a former terrorist at a club which supports terrorism and is populated by terror supporters, who will get awards at this charade? Well, the answer is that they really care a lot less about actual enforcement of immigraion and customs laws than they do about pandering to those who share the religion of the 19 hijackers.
My how we’ve regressed since 9/11.

Giant Sucking Sound: U.S. Pledges Millions to Hezbollah . . . er, Lebanon (Intel, Cisco Help)

By Debbie Schlussel
This is what I meant when I questioned whether the President really believed his own tough new words against Hezbollah in Tuesday’s State of the Union address. The speech versus actual Bush policy is “Speak Loudly But Throw Your Stick Away and Give Them Everything They Want.”
Condi Clueless, yesterday–at the Paris Lebanon Donor’s Conference–pledged $770 million in U.S. aid to “rebuild” Lebanon. She also leaned on Intel and Cisco executives to help, too–and they quickly acquiesced.
When asked by Bloomberg News whether the money–which, Bloomberg reports, now totals $1 billion in U.S. aid to Lebanon, since this summer’s war–would be cut off if Hezbollah gained control, she responded by not responding, saying she didn’t want to discuss “hypotheticals.” She added:

unclesam2.jpghezbollah4.jpg

This money is for all the Lebanese people. As you know Hezbollah is considered a terrorist organization by the U.S. That has not changed.

That’s hardly convincing. Apparently, she’s saying: We think they’re terrorists, but most Lebanese don’t. So we’ll keep giving them U.S. tax moolah, regardless of what happens.
It also means hundreds of millions of your tax money and any money you give by buying Intel and Cisco products goes straight into the hands of Hezbollah. And it’s actually neither a “hypothetical” nor dependent upon whether Hezbollah controls all of Lebanon. It already controls most of the damaged areas and will get most of the money.
Most of the money we’re giving is USAID (U.S. Agency for International Development) money. And as I noted, this past summer when the aid began, the money and goods America gave to Lebanon through the USAID went straight to Hezbollah to give to its people and take the credit for. At that time, FOX News Channel’s Shepard Smith asked USAID chief Randall Tobias how he could insure the aid would not go to Hezbollah, and he couldn’t give him a straight answer.
As I’ve also written, in 2000, then-U.S. Senator Spencer Abraham (R-Michigan) and U.S. Congressman Joe Knollenberg (R-MI) (and Knollenberg’s Islamopandering then-Chief of Staff, Paul Welday) introduced and passed legislation that gave Lebanon $86 million (they sought $268 million) for rebuilding South Lebanon, after the Israelis pulled out. They did this at the behest of Hezbollah-shill Jim Zogby of the Arab American Institute and two Hezbollah-connected Americans who gave both elected officials thousands in campaign contributions.
The money was USAID money, and it went straight into the hands of Hezbollah. USAID maintains almost no oversight and requires no accountability, and we don’t even know whether ANY of that money went to rebuilding at all. For all we know, it may have gone for weaponry and terrorist training.
Look for more of the same.
Ka-ching. Ka-ching. Allah Hu Akbar.
This is not the way you get tough on Hezbollah.

Justice Bader Ginsburg Says She’s Lonely as Only Chick on Court

By Debbie Schlussel
Since Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg told USA Today she’s so lonely as the only woman on the Supreme Court, I have a few suggestions for her:
1) Resign;
2) Join the Oprah Book Club;
3) Go to the salon once in a while (lots of women there);
4) Go to a strip club (many women there, too); or
LAST BUT NOT LEAST . . .
5) Wake Up!

ginsburgsnooze.jpg

One question: Since she’s married, what does her husband think about her public comments that she is lonely?

Weekend Box Office: Pointless “Mob” Hit Movie, Crybaby Chick Flick, Lackluster Werewolves

By Debbie Schlussel
This weekend, do your self a favor and stay home from the theater. Or go see the re-released “The Departed.” This week’s new “offerings” are hours of wasted time you’ll never get back:
* “Smokin’ Aces“–Billed as a mob movie, it isn’t one. This bloody, sickening, unfunny, unentertaining trash is likely the worst movie of 2007 (though the upcoming “Reno 911!: Miami” movie is a very close contender). Long, boring, stupid, pointless, disgusting, dismemberment-filled. And very misleading for producers to bill this as “a mob movie,” since it’s more like a rip-off–and even worse than–Madonna hubby Guy Ritchie’s horrid “Snatch” (this one makes “Snatch” look like a masterpiece). Blecch.

smokinacesmovieposter.jpgcatchandreleasemovieposter.jpg

FBI agents rush to save a drug-addicted mob snitch (Jeremy Piven) from a series of hitmen crews who try to “rub him out.” FBI Assistant Director Andy Garcia’s bizarre accent is very fake and stupid-sounding. While I’m down on the FBI a lot on this site, believe me, most of the real FBI agents are much smarter and more competent than the idiots in this movie. Everyone in this movie’s career is going down the tube–and that means you, too, Ben Affleck. “Smokin’ Aces”? Nope. More like a Smokin’ Bomb.
* “Catch and Release“–No, this one isn’t about the Border Patrol and Immigration and Custom Enforcement’s (ICE) policy of allowing illegal aliens back into the great abyss. Almost as painful, it’s a two hour cry-fest melodrama chick flick with no plot and no characters we should care about in any way. And it has a slur against the Irish that would never be tolerated had it been about, say, Blacks.
Jennifer Garner, crying, pouting, and acting dumb, plays a woman whose fiance dies just before her wedding. She learns he cheated on her and had a kid out of wedlock. She and his loser friends live like a pseudo family while they build a peace garden, she sleeps with one of them, and has occasional rude interludes with her once-future mother-in-law. Yes, I gave away some spoilers, but trust me–and thank me in advance of not going to see this.
If you don’t find Garner annoying and a bad actress now, you will if you endure this waste of time. Pointless, and with a ridiculously absurd and unbelievable “resolution” ending.
bloodandchocolatemovieposter.jpg

* “Blood and Chocolate“–Normally, this bad, boring, very low-budget werewolf “thriller” (which wasn’t thrilling) would be the worst of the bunch at the box office. But since they’re all so bad, this one is actually the best of the worst. An American werewolf woman in Bucharest meets a mortal American graphic artist and tries to break free from the werewolf life and family legacy to be with him. I’m not opposed to werewolf movies, but this one was just awful.

Former INS Agent Neville Cramer Responds About ICE

By Debbie Schlussel
**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE ****
In November, I wrote about “Meltdown: The Phoenix Branch of ICE is Exhibit A of this Country’s Failed Border Policies,” by Ray Stern in the Phoenix New Times.
Many Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents sent me the link. But several others sent me e-mails disputing the article, some of which I posted. I recommended the article because I think it extensively illustrates the mess that is ICE, especially under Julie L. Myers a/k/a “The ICE Princess.” I also noted some disagreements I had with the article, including a disagreement I had with the quotes from my friend, former INS official Neville Cramer, author of “Fixing the INSanity.”
Neville wrote to say that he was misquoted and asked that I reprint his e-mail, which I post below, if a little late:

Former INS Official Neville Cramer

Subject: Comments about FBI taking over Immigration Enforcement
Date: Sat, 30 Dec 2006 23:52:55 -0700
Dear Debbie,
I read your November 20, 2006, piece about the Phoenix ICE Meltdown. I wish you had contacted me about the article. I NEVER said the FBI should take over Immigration enforcement! I completely cooperated with reporter Stern, and found him to be quite thorough. However, immediately after the article came out I contacted him because he completely misunderstood what I told him.
My comments about the FBI vs. ICE came while responding to a question about terrorism. I am fully aware that the FBI has its problems, but they pale in comparison to those of ICE. And, yes, I do believe the FBI should take the lead in terrorism cases.
I appreciate your mention of my book. Since you did mention it, I should point out that in Chapter 3, Page 54, I clearly state that one of the solutions to our growing immigration nightmare is the establishment of a massive DHS ICE Compliance Division to help better enforce Employer Sanctions and investigate immigration violations in the interior of the United States. Why would I write one thing in the book and then completely contradict myself with the reporter?
I hope in some future writing or on the air you will clarify my comments. As stated above, I believe the FBI should have primary responsibility for terrorism-related cases (JTTF), and should be given the necessary resources to carry out this mission – including resources that are now going to the dysfunctional ICE. On the other hand, I have never advocated that the FBI take on America’s immigration enforcement responsibilities.
I hope ICE will get its act together and find a well-qualified law enforcement official to lead them (as soon as Ms. Myers departs!)
One more interesting point about Stern’s article – while Mr. Stern
quoted me a few times, he did not use a quote about the FBI! That’s because I never advocated that we turn immigration enforcement over to the Bureau, and I never told him the FBI has administrative immigration enforcement authority, because they do not. He completely misunderstood what I told him!
I am a big fan of yours and certainly appreciate the fact you are
giving me an opportunity to set the record straight. I know there are many present and former ICE/INS Agents who follow you religiously. After what you said, they probably think I went nuts after I retired! I would appreciate it if you would post my email.
Keep up the great work!
Neville W. Cramer
INS Special Agent-in-Charge (retired)

**** UPDATE, 01/27/07: For the record, as I’ve stated many times, I disagree–I don’t believe the FBI should take the lead on terrorism cases. It was much better before when Customs and Secret Service Agents had the freedom to pursue and adequately handle terrorism cases. They were much better at it.

He’s Baaaaack: The Worm Won’t Go Away

By Debbie Schlussel
Dennis Rodman will have his own reality show, “Geek to Freak,” starting on February 16th on HDNet.
That figures–it’s the standardless Mark Cuban‘s network, which is also the new home of Dan Rather.
The theme of this “classy” show: Rodman takes nerdy people “for a walk on the wild side”–the kinky side. Here’s a more complete show description:

dennisrodmangeektofreak.jpg

Geek to Freak with Dennis Rodman changes seven contestants’ lives forever with the help of the world’s most outrageous sports figure-Dennis Rodman. With his avant-garde style and flair for the extreme, Rodman will take willing subjects for a walk on the wilder side of life. Whether it’s an accountant who wants to become a stripper or a construction worker who dreams of performing in drag, no transformation is too radical for Rodman!

What a great contribution to America.
Says he:

It’s been an incredible journey transforming everyday people into the freaks that they’ve always wanted to become.

Hard to call that a “journey.” More like a fall into a deeper part of the sewer from the point to which he’s already fallen.
More evidence why Rodman’s nickname, “The Worm,” is an appropriate one.

The Real Reason Obama is Hiding Muslim Background

By Debbie Schlussel
Why is Barack Hussein Obama running, hiding, concealing, and denying when it comes to his Muslim background?
Various polls on Presidential elections indicate that he’d lose more than half the American people off the bat. Why can’t he openly admit his background–that he was a Muslim at one time in his life, even though he claims to be a Christian now?
Various polls show us the answer.
Gallup, Pew, the Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg and FOX News frequently do polls on the one thing–the one bugaboo–that would keep the average American from voting for a Presidential candidate, even if the candidate was ideal in every other category.

islamiccrescent.jpgbarackobama.jpg

Americans are not stupid. They see the way Muslims around the world–and in America, too–act in the name of their religion. And more than half of them won’t vote for a Muslim for President.
In June, a nationwide LA Times/Bloomberg poll showed these results:

Would Not Vote for a Presidential Candidate who is
Mormon–37%
Jew–15%
Evangelical Christian-21%
Muslim–54%
Catholic–10%

A December FOX News Poll shows these results:

Less likely to vote for a presidential candidate if the candidate is:
A Protestant–6%
Roman Catholic–10%
Jewish–10%
A Member of the Christian Coalition–24%
A Mormon–32%
A Muslim–45%
An Athiest–50%
A Scientologist–53%

In 2004, a Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life survey found that 38% of Americans would not vote for a Muslim for President.
Here are the numbers from Gallup in 1999:

Percentage of Americans who won’t vote for a Presidential candidate who is . . .
Catholic: 4% (1937: 30%)
Black: 5% (1958: 63%, 1987: 21%)
Jewish: 6% (1937: 47%)
Baptist: 6%
Woman: 8%
Mormon: 17%
Muslim: 38%
Gay: 37% (1978: 74%)
Atheist: 48%

The proof is in the numbers. A Muslim candidate cannot become President at this point in time. And Barack Hussein Obama does not want Americans to know that, at the very least, at one point in his life, he was a Muslim. And is still very sypathetic to their viewpoint.
