Border Patrol Hating, Hezbollah Supporting GOP Rep. for California Statewide Office?

By
Uh-Oh. Hezbollah supporting, Border Patrol hating U.S. Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) a/k/a “Jihad Darrell” is being talked up again as a potential candidate for statewide office in California.
Jihad Darrell, the multi-millionaire who constantly praised then-Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat (for having nice little hands and a great sense of humor!) at the height of Intifada violence and right after the Passover massacre, is mentioned in an article in The Hill, which focuses on liberal Dem Rep. Jane Harman’s possible run for California statewide office.
Jihad Darrell, who is tight with terror host state Syria, got a ticket for speeding at the border. He responded with a “Do you know who I am?” redux, but the brave Border Patrol agent gave him the ticket anyway. Issa then tried to deunionize the Border Patrol (there was no DHS then) and is continuing to try to shut down Border Patrol checkpoints and offices at various points in his district. Jihad Darrell pretends he is for tougher immigration laws and enforcement, but the opposite is true.

Jihad Darrell Issa: Crybaby, pro-Hezbollah, anti-Border Patrol Republican

No surprise, given that the Jihadist Congressman has lied throughout his career–about his spotty military record, about how he stole his business from its founder in a tricky court maneuver, about his criminal past, mysterious arson at his company’s buildings, holding an employee at gunpoint, etc., etc., etc.
If Issa is the best the GOP has to offer in California besides an aging “Conan the Barbarian” movie star, the party is in trouble. Rep. Mary Bono is also mentioned on the GOP side.
Great. Sonny’s last wife and Jihad Darrell, as the country’s largest state’s best Republicans. No wonder the GOP keeps losing there.
We think the best of the bunch is State Senator Tom McClintock, a true conservative. We’d love to see him win his bid for Lt. Governor (as a start). We only wish he lived in Michigan, so we could vote for him.

Denver Paper Cites Me in Al-Jazeera Grab of American “Talent”

By
Recently, we Al Jazeera’s hiring of American boob and former Marine, .
The latest American recruited for the Terrorist News Network’s English language propaganda channel is Gabriel Elizondo, a news assignment editor for Denver’s ABC affiliate, KMGH/Channel 7. He will now be a programming producer for the Terrorist New Network. Like the others, Elizondo speaks of “values” and claims it’s about some lofty journalistic career. But I’m sure the bottom line was $$$$, which the Qatari royal family’s endless funds (which exclusively fund Al-Jazeera) effortlessly satisfy. Nobody said the news business was void of whores.

Traitor: Al Jazeera’s new American producer, Gabriel Elizondo

The article about Elizondo in Denver’s weekly “alternative” paper, “Westword,” also quotes me about Rushing and his turn to Al-Jazeera:
” ‘When I’ve been outside the States, people have for the most part had a very positive view of the network,’ he [Elizondo] says.”
“Not so here, where Rushing’s recent media blitz was met with derision by commentators who aren’t buying Al-Jazeera’s recent reputation-softening efforts. Typical was ‘A Marine’s Dishonorable Service for Al-Jazeera,’ an October 7 Front Page Magazine called Rushing ‘a bigger boob than Anna Nicole Smith’s entire chest combined,’ and pointed out that onetime Al-Jazeera correspondent Taysir Alluni had recently been convicted in Spain of, in her words, ‘financing, recruiting and logistically supporting Al Qaeda.’ Al-Jazeera stands behind Alluni and has announced plans to appeal the verdict.”
Elizondo told “Westword” that, under him, “We’re [Al-Jazeera] going to offer a truly 360-degree view of the world.”
Yes, 360 degrees of Bin Laden.

PBS Equivocates Illegal, Legal Aliens

By
Last night, PBS (which we like to call by its real name, “Palestinian Broadcasting System”) ran the first two installments in an absurd series on immigrants, “Destination America.”
The not-so-veiled point of the show, as detailed in the first episode (“The Golden Door”), is that illegal Mexican immigrants, like “Manuel,” are morally equivalent to your or my relatives and ancestors who came here LEGALLY. The show depicted the Border Patrol as this big high-tech monster, impossible to beat with its helicopters and cameras monitoring the border.
Puh-leeze. If the Border Patrol were so effective and so fully-staffed, we wouldn’t have thousands of illegals hemorrhaging just over the Mexican border each day. The Mexican portrayed in the PBS episode was making his 16th illegal trip over the border.

Flagrant Foul: Tax-Funded PBS Celebrates This Illegal Alien

More absurd was the comparison of this illegal to Norwegian and Irish immigrants who came here legally at the turn of the previous century and before.
My mother, an immigrant from Germany’s Bergen Belsen Camp, where my grandparents were concentration camp inmates, was rightfully outraged that her group, too, was lumped in with this illegal alien sneaking over the border. “We came here legally,” my mom protested.
Exactly.
A future episode will push for treating women with abusive husbands as political refugees eligible for asylum. Yes, we needed another easy excuse for yet MORE aliens. Because we don’t have enough already.
Unfortunately, the propaganda doesn’t stop when the program ends. PBS has a “Teacher’s Guide” to propagandize America’s young students with these “views” on immigration, including a mock trial of one of the “abused” wife illegals seeking asylum.
Aren’t you glad your forcibly taken tax money is given to this useless, anachronistic, publicly-funded network of leftist propaganda?
End public funding of PBS. And stop comparing legal immigrants to the hemorrhaging problem of illegals today.

Shame on Dirty Harry: Eastwood’s Pro-Jap Iwo Jima Film

By
Early this year, I attacked “Dirty Harry,” Clint Eastwood, for tricking moviegoers into thinking they’d see Rocky-in-a-Sports-Bra, instead giving them a movie that was secretly really about euthanasia. (in which I correctly predicted it’d win an Academy Award) was cited in the New York Times (twice), USA Today (twice), Rush Limbaugh, Associated Press, Brit papers The Guardian and Daily Telegraph, and thousands of other media outlets around the world.
I hope my latest complaint against Dirty Harry gets as much coverage, but unfortunately I have my doubts.
Clint Eastwood is making a movie that “will offer the Japanese perspective” on the battle of Iwo Jima, he told Time Magazine. I suppose his excuse for making this celluloid outrage, “Lamps Before the Wind” (some news reports say “Lambs Before the Wind”), is that he is also making and simultaneously releasing a “pro-American” version (that isn’t so pro-American)of what happened at Iwo Jima, “Flags of Our Fathers.”

Iwo Jima: They risked their lives so Clint Eastwood could trash them?!

Big deal.
7,000 American troops died at Iwo Jima in February and March 1945, the bloodiest event in U.S. Marine Corps history. By making a film from their killers’ perspective, Dirty Harry dishonors them, WWII veterans, America, and himself. As aging actor past his prime, I guess he never heard the phrase “death before dishonor.”
The only question I have for Eastwood is this: When is his pro-Bin Laden/Atta “perspective” film coming out about what happened on 9/11? That’s the logical progression of this outrageous “two morally equivalent sides to every story” BS that Eastwood is now pushing.
When I railed against his “Million Dollar Baby,” Dirty Harry’s supporters responded that he’s a Republican. So what? If Eastwood is the proto-typical Republican of the day, his party has truly lost its compass, moral and otherwise.
MDB and, now, this propaganda in favor of our WWII enemies, are his repentance in old age to the Hollywood left for having dared make the Dirty Harry movies that really embodied true Republican–and conservative–values.
And Eastwood can write his epitaph with it. Dirty Harry would be ashamed.
Stay tuned for a longer column on this outrage.

ICE “Vouched” for Drug Smuggling, Bribe-Taking Fed Agent – Abu Moskowitz Update

By
Over the past several months, we’ve worried about the too-close-for-comfort relationship between (a/k/a “Abu Moskowitz”), the top Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official in the heart of Islamic America (Michigan and Ohio), and “former” Palestinian terrorist .
We’ve written about how to “push through” the hiring process Arabic-speaking agents from the stack of , which reportedly included Hamad’s unqualified nephew (who was granted an interview).
Now comes another story about how high-ranking ICE agents can help get criminals and undesirables jobs as federal agents–to the point of avoiding even a simple background check.

Hamad: Could Abu Moskowitz Crony’s

friends/family bypass background checks for Fed jobs?

That’s the story of Fernando Arango, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent and inspector at the Mariposa Port of Entry in Nogales, Arizona, who got a job with the help of a high-ranking ICE agent. According to the Arizona Daily Star, Arango, charged with accepting a $50,000 bribe in a cocaine sting at the border, fled the country to Colombia, 15 years ago, in a previous drug smuggling case (a sheriff’s deputy found more than 100 pounds of pot in his car).
An ICE Assistant Special Agent in Charge (a rank even lower than Abu Moskowitz, who is a Special Agent in Charge) in Florida (we don’t know the name–or we’d definitely give him ample credit) vouched for Arango who worked as a paid informant. This “voucher” apparently enabled Arango to forgo a background check, which presumably would have exposed his “record.”
Incredibly, CBP spokesman Roger Maier said this incident “indicates that the hiring processes are sound.” Huh?! Sounds like he’s been taking lessons from about her agency’s hiring “procedures.”
If a known drug smuggler can become a fed, it makes us wonder just who could become a federal agent and forgo a background check when an ICE crony who “vouches” for them. Is there anyone who can’t? And we’re not just talking about the likes of unqualified .
We’re talking about , their relatives, and terror supporters–and the . Are you listening, Abu Moskowitz?
Since we’re not counting on to do anything about it, we are watching.

Good Riddance, Brett Hull

By Debbie Schlussel
So Brett Hull retired from playing pro hockey. We say, buh-bye!
In the past, we’ve been , the NHL player who is the son of NHL legend Bobby Hull.
Brett Hull is basically an overgrown child at age 41. We’ve documented his stints on the U.S. Olympic team. In 2002, he whined about the trip to the “far away” Salt Lake Games. On the 1998 Olympic delegation to Nagano, Japan’s Winter Games, he co-starred in dorm-trashing and furniture-breaking with his buddy and team captain, Chris Chelios, and complained about the distance to Nagano, too.

Brett Hull: Good Riddance to Spoiled Brat NHLer

We compared his antics and behavior to the who, this year, celebrated their 25th anniversary of miraculous victory over the Communist Soviet Union. Unlike Hull, most of them–like my friend, Mark Wells, who scored three goals in the Games, but later spent nights slaving as a manager at “Ram’s Horn” restaurant–never made big money. Brett Hull couldn’t come close to filling their skates.
Good riddance, Brett Hull. We only wish your equally immature and inappropriate hockey buddy, Chelios, would leave with you.

Julie Myers, ICE Princess: Hearings Today on Unqualified Immigration Chief to be

By
We’ve been documenting the “As the ICE Nomination Turns” soap opera here for some time. And we’ve been extremely critical of , President Bush’s nominee to head ICE–Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Julie Myers, whom we’ve dubbed “” and the “ICE Princess,” is extremely unqualified.
A 36-year-old with no law enforcement or managerial experience (but a lot of cronyist connections) is not the person who should run the agency that enforces our immigration laws.
Today, unfortunately, may be the final very low hurdle Myers must cross to take her place atop the ICE Palace at 4th and Eye Streets in Washington.

Cornyn & Myers:

Why is Senator Aiding & Abetting Unqualified Immigration Nominee?

Last week, she was doing the rounds with the ICE “leadership” and Special Agents in Charge at the ICE Palace. Myers told them she was very confident in herself and her background. But she seemed to be telling herself that, Stuart Smalley-style, more than anyone else. I’m sure there are nurses who are, like Myers, overly confident in themselves and their background. But I wouldn’t hire them to perform brain surgery.
This afternoon, the ICE Princess is going before the Senate Judiciary Committee. This is conveniently scheduled AFTER Michael Chertoff’s testimony before the same committee, this morning. Apparently, the official DHS/ICE thought on this is, a good portion of the Committee’s Senators will be so exhausted after taking shots at Chertoff, most won’t even attend Myer’s confirmation in the afternoon. Gee, what a vote of confidence in their own nominee: We’ll tire out the Senators because we know our nominee isn’t qualified and can’t respond to tough questions about her qualifications. Like way totally cool.
Also disturbing, word has it that Committee Chair, Republican Senator John Cornyn has taken a liking to Brunette Barbie. Agents are wondering, out loud, what was promised or exchanged between the two. One suggested, Cornyn “should have his own source for , no?”
Cornyn is going to be Myers’ “surrogate” through the testimony. Does that mean he will also play her surrogate for the next 3.5 years when ICE gets worse under her hegemony? Several Committee Senators have softball questions ready to go–questions provided to them by Myers’ team of tutors, protectors, and breast-feeders.
Cornyn’s staff recently had a whirlwind tour of the Southwest border, and we’re told that in exchange for his cheerleading for Myers, she or her crony Chertoff will soon re-deploy interior assets to the Southwest border–not to do anything concrete against hemhorraging illegal immigration, but nice window dressing.
Check the Congressional Record tomorrow to see who attended, how they voted, and what softball questions they “asked” Brunette Barbie. Since I’m away, I can’t comment ’til Wednesday Night about that.
In the meantime, all we can say is: Talk about someone who lucked out from the Miers hype. Julie Myers benefited most. Too bad we can only say the opposite for the country.

My ABC “Nightline” Experience

By
Yesterday, ABC News announced its new anchors and new format for “Nightline,” given lefty Ted Koppel’s (thank goodness) departure.
In March of this year, I was invited by ABC News to participate in a pilot to replace “Nightline.” The pilot was shot at ABC’s New York Times Square studio–used for “Good Morning America.” (I was not paid by ABC for the experience.)
I was the conservative versus a liberal from Air America (a lesbian who looked like a junior K.D. Lang) along with a comedian. We discussed and debated several “pressing” issues–including why people hate Hillary Clinton and Martha Stewart, whether Michael Jackson would be found guilty, and why the gazillionaire Olsen Twins dress like the homeless–as moderated by John Fugelsang, formerly of “Talk Soup.” We also discussed whether the Bush Administration used the warnings and high alerts in New York to gain votes in the Presidential election. (Fugelsang, to his credit, was the only one to correctly predict that Jackson would be acquitted.)

John Fugelsang: Co-Host of “Nightline” Pilot

Our two segments were part of a variety “Good Morning America”-style show hosted by several Gen-X ABC News reporters, including Jake Tapper. It was all shot in a smoky nightclub setting complete with audience members seated at tables, smoke, drinks, and a band. A New York Times story, earlier this year, leaked some of the details.
Needless to say, ABC did not pick up our pilot in place of “Nightline.”

Unethical: Sports Illustrated “Reporter” Snitches on Golfer Michelle Wie

By
Who says a lack of journalistic ethics is exclusive to Dan Rather and CBS News, and and The Detroit News, and Jack Kelley and at USA Today?
Sometimes sports reporters show they are equally afflicted.
Take Sports Illustrated writer Michael Bamberger. He’s the reason golfer newly-pro Michelle Wie was disqualified from Sunday’s LPGA Samsung World Championship golf tournament. Bamberger became part of the story when he snitched to LPGA rules officials about Wie’s miscounting of strokes at the 7th hole. And his editor told him to do it.

Michelle Wie: Snitched on by Sports Illustrated “Reporter”

Remember that the next time you read Sports Illustrated or Bamberger’s work. They don’t just report and let you decide. They decide, then report it–after they’ve created the story.
It’s just another example of how the “Mainstream Media” create news, not just report it. Today, a women’s golf tournament. Tomorrow (and Yesterday), something more serious, like staging a Palestinian youth’s alleged “murder” by Israelis (Mohammed Al-Dura, anyone?).
Another part of the story: Jealous, masculine-looking LPGA players–who’ve done everything in the past to whine about and try to keep the feminine, skilled Wie out–may be gloating that Bamberger got Wie DQ’ed (disqualified, not Dairy Queened). But no matter. She still got all the publicity (as she will in the future) and you can bet, she won’t screw up the scoring again.
Wie is the only reason women’s golf has seen a recent rise in ratings. It’s not the others–who’ve put the “L” in LPGA.
