Sadly, love won’t keep them together.

As I’ve noted before on this site, I really like the song, “Love Will Keep Us Together,” the Neil Sedaka/Howard Greenfield song which “The Captain & Tennille” turned into a huge hit in 1975. And I’ve written about my admiration for Toni Tennille, who was always classy, glamorous, and had (probably still has) a beautiful singing voice. She made it in showbiz without whoring herself out and acting slutty–the way most female pop singers make it today. Well, it’s sad news that, today, Cathryn Antoinette “Toni” Tennille filed for divorce from “Captain” Daryl Dragon (some websites claim Dragon is Jewish, in case you were wondering).

Well, they lasted nearly 40 years (they married on Veterans Day 1974). That’s a long time. They are both now in their 70s. But you think that if a couple has been together that long, they’d want to spend their last years together. Apparently not in this case. But it seems cruel here that Tennille filed from divorce from her husband even though he is afflicted with a very serious and debilitating illness. Nobody knows what really goes on inside a marriage, but to leave your husband of 40 years when he needs you most seems cruel to me. Maybe Tennille wasn’t as classy as I thought.

And now for the latest edition of “Reading Women’s Mags So You Don’t Have To–-See What Your Wives/Daughters/Girlfriends Are Ingesting.” A popular American fashion magazine is touting the “hip”ness and “style” of Muslim women who wear the niqab, the full-ninja face veil (and those who wear the hijab–the Islamic headscarf). And the pic is quite hilarious . . . not to mention, sad. Medieval is the new black.

This isn’t the first time I’ve written about women’s fashion–and feminist–magazine, Marie Claire, and its absurd penchant for pimping Islamic garb and full face veils for women. As I noted several years ago, the magazine did a full, 8-page “fashion” spread of models glamorizing the Islamic garb of oppression (which Muslim women are forced to wear, lest their hirsute cheekbones or chins turn some uncontrollable Muslim guy on and cause him to legally rape her).

In the February 2014 issue of Marie Claire, a photo spread called, “Filter: No Place Like Home,” invites readers to peruse photographs of single women around the world in their bedrooms to “see how their private spaces reflect their personal style and passions.” The magazine shows us a black blob on a bed and tells us that this is a photo of Aisha Mohammed, age 25, of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. Instead of laughing at how ridiculous the picture actually is, the magazine tells us that Ms. Mohammed lives “outside of the “ultramodern city’s limits.” Um, is the magazine trying to tell me that wearing this black schmatta over her face is “ultramodern”? Otherwise, why is it relevant that this person wearing a backward, black Casper the Ghost get-up reminiscent of those “fabulous!” Middle Ages, lives outside an “ultramodern city”? We’re told that Aisha lives in a desert village where temperatures can reach 130 degrees. And this is supposed to make me feel that her black blog outfit is chic? Nuh-uh.

Does the magazine really believe that this woman with a black rag over her face has any “personal style,” or that wearing a fabric garbage bag on her head is her “passion”? Uh-huh. Sure it is. Oh, and by the way, her straw tent “bedroom” is more appropriate to the “ultramodern” 18th century than the pages of a fashion magazine . . . especially a feminist fashion magazine that, just a page earlier, whines about and pimps us on women in combat roles in the U.S. Armed Forces. Are you kidding me? You try to pimp me on a woman covering her entire face in a black bedsheet in the name of Islam, and then you tell me you want women to be equal in America’s fighting forces? Oh, the Palestinian Muslim children. They’re just like your children, right? And their backpacks adorned by Disney animated princesses shouldn’t be subject to any kind of search because, because, because . . . they’re just innocent children. Uh-huh. And innocent backpacks like this one that the Israeli Defense Forces just discovered in the back of a Palestinian Muslim car in Beka’ot, an Israeli settlement in the so-called “West Bank.” Beka’ot, in the northern Jordan Valley, south of Beit She’an, is the site of an Israeli Army checkpoint (on the way to greenline Israel) where many terrorist attacks have occurred and many have also been caught and foiled. And so it goes with the princess backpack hiding what was going to be a weapon to be used by a Palestinian Muslim against jews.

Palestinian kids and their Disney princess backpacks. They’re just like us, right?

Who is the bigger threat to gays and their existence on the planet? Russia and Vladimir Putin . . . or Muslims whose 22-plus nations around the world regularly murder gays by law? What is the bigger threat to Olympians–gay or straight–in Sochi, come February’s Winter Games? Russia and Vladimir Putin . . . or Muslims who seek to murder countless more innocent civilians, regardless of the victims’ sexual preference?

Gays & Obama Protest Putin . . .

. . .But They Ignore Islam, Jihad & the Black Widow, Which Hate Gays A LOT More . . .

While gays, the media, and Obama continue to whine and stick a finger in the eye of Russia and Putin over gay issues, those concerned with national security are looking for three Islamic terrorist women known individually and/or collectively as “the Black widow.” Is it just me? Or did you also note that the most deadly and threatening “school of thought” against gays is Islam, NOT Russia or Vladimir Putin?

Is it just me? Or did you also wonder why Barack Obama has never picked a delegation of famous gays to send to a single Muslim country, where homosexuality is not only outlawed, but punished by execution (not so in Russia)? Meanwhile, he had no problem with pointedly choosing such a delegation for Russia, starring the “Tano Sisters” Janet Napolitano and Brian Boitano, Billie Jean King, and some U.S. Olympic Women’s Hockey Team chick who came out as gay (a women’s hockey player is gay? no, really?). And no Olympic official protesting Russia on gays would ever agree to hold an Olympic event in the country that is among the gay-friendliest in the world: Israel. Heck, Israel is treated shabbily at every Olympic opportunity, with zero Sochi-esque protest of that blatant anti-Semitism.

As I pointed out on this site four years ago, Qatar was chosen to host the 2010 World Cup, despite the fact that homosexuality is punishable with death in that Islamic emirate. Not only did Barack Obama not say a word about
Qatar’s Islamic fatal intolerance for gays or send a gay delegation of RuPaulistinians, but the FIFA (soccer’s governing body) chief, Sepp Blatter, specifically lectured gay soccer players that they are not to engage in gay sex in Qatar. I wrote about this hypocrisy, then. And the hypocrisy continues with the continued outraged–outraged!–protestations and demonstrations against Russia, but not a single protest or outcry about the Islamic world’s executions of gays. As you know, today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. And, each year, this day serves as a reminder for those who know–and information for those who do not–that Martin Luther King was pro-Israel and said those who are anti-Israel are really just anti-Semites. He was right then. His words are right, now. Since nothing has changed–Martin Luther King, Jr.’s support for Israel is a fact and Muslims hijack his good name each year like it’s a plane and use his memory like it is their underwear bomb–I am reposting what I have posted for a few years now, below. Facts are stubborn things. And the facts are these: King was pro-Israel and a philo-Semite, and Jew-hating, anti-Israel Muslims (a redundant phrase) continue to ignore that because they make up “the facts” for propaganda purposes to foment their evil and hate. As I always say, their experience in hijacking wasn’t just confined to 9/11. (Also, please read this short summary of, “What Would Martin Say?,” a great book by Joel Engel and King friend Clarence B. Jones on what King would have thought about illegal aliens, anti-Semitism, and other issues.)

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Every year on this day, I have to write this . . . because every year the Muslim phonies hijack the name of Martin Luther King, Jr.–who was PRO-ISRAEL–and try to make the civil rights struggle of Black people (many of whose ancestors were sold into slavery by Muslim Arabs) into the same thing as defending a violent religion that commits terrorist acts around the world every single hour. It’s amazing that a religion whose US-based “leaders” constantly claim that the 9/11 hijackers hijacked a religion (rather than what really happened–Islam hijacked them), is so consistent in its hijacking of things that stand counter to what Islam stands for. And, with Martin Luther King, Jr., they hijack the name and legacy of a man who stood with Israel and against them. In the new “Jack Ryan” movie, terrorists trying to set off a nuclear bomb in America are CHRISTIAN terrorists based in a church in Dearbornistan, Michigan. HUH???

Tom Clancy hated the Hollywood movies based on his books. He said, “Giving your book to Hollywood is like turning your daughter over to a pimp.” And so it goes with “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit,” in movie theaters today. The movie, however, is not based on any particular Clancy book, but on the “spirit” of Jack Ryan, the main character in many of Clancy’s thriller novels. But it’s the worst Jack Ryan movie by far–no, by a Grand Canyon-sized chasm. The other Jack Ryan movies were decent. This stank.

It’s not news that Hollywood will do anything to avoid showing Muslims as terrorists. It did that with at least two of Clancy’s works. In his “The Sum of All Fears,” Islamic terrorists detonate a nuclear bomb in the US (at the Super Bowl) to drive the U.S. and the Soviet Union into war with each other. In the movie of the same name, under pressure from the HAMAS unindicted co-conspirator in terrorism, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Muslims were no longer. Instead, they were neo-Nazis. (Director Phil Alden Robinson wrote CAIR, “I hope you will be reassured that I have no intention of promoting negative images of Muslims or Arabs, and I wish you the best in your continuing efforts to combat discrimination.”) In “Act of Valor” (read my review), the terrorist attacking the United States with thousands of homicide bombers is not Muslim, but a Russian Jew. Clancy co-wrote a novel based on “Act of Valor’s” original script, and there was no “Jewish” terrorist, just one who is Russian and implicitly Muslim.

And in today’s “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit,” a terrorist cell based in the Muslim capital of America, Dearbornistan, Michigan, is not an Islamic terrorist cell in a mosque, but a Russian terrorist cell based in an Eastern Orthodox church, which aims to detonate a nuclear bomb in America. And the key villain in the movie is a Russian Christian billionaire (we’re shown scenes of the guy in church), played by Kenneth Branagh, who wants the bomb to affect the U.S. stock market and dollar. Are you kidding me–a Russian Eastern Orthodox terrorist cell in Dearbornistan, the city which is majority Muslim, has a Muslim, Hezbollah-supporting City Council President, and Arabs as a majority of its City Council? That’s how far Hollywood is willing to go to avoid portraying terrorists as they usually are in the United States of America: MUSLIMS. There is as much chance of a Russian Eastern Orthodox terrorist cell emerging out of Dearbornistan as there is in Beirut, Riyadh, Tehran, Mogadishu, Minneapolistan, or Cairo.

The Christian-Russians-as-America’s-terrorist-enemies narrative is beyond tiresome. How many Christian Russians have blown up planes, buildings, and other installations in America? Answer: none. Read the rest of this entry »

I gave a great review to the movie, “Lone Survivor,” and picked it as one of the top two movies of 2013. But, now, I think I may have made a mistake in doing so. That’s because the movie enhances the bully pulpit of an Islamic terrorism supporter and Jew-hater who is virulently anti-Israel (but has no prob living and Facebooking from inside the Jewish State). And I partially blame Marcus Luttrell, the former Navy SEAL who is the author of “Lone Survivor” and the main subject of the movie of the same name, for this.

Luttrell had a great deal of say over the production of the movie and is heavily promoting it, according to both his and director Peter Berg’s accounts. (He made a great deal of money from selling the rights to the movie, was also on the set, and even acted in the film.) Given that, you have to ask why he said and did nothing about the casting of Ali Suliman–a blatant supporter of Islamic terrorism and open Jew-hater–as the “peaceful Muslim” who saved his life in Afghanistan. It’s a blatant–blatantly disgusting–irony. If he doesn’t know about it, why not? Ignorance is a lame excuse. They didn’t think to ask themselves, who is this Muslim guy seeking to be in this film? All you have to do is look at his resume of pro-terrorism, anti-Israel movies. This is the only guy they could find to play an Afghan Muslim–a rabid Palestinian HAMASnik? Come on.

Suliman, a Muslim Arab born in Nazareth, Israel, claims he is a Palestinian and proudly starred as a HAMAS-style homicide bomber and Islamic terrorist in “Paradise Now.” In interviews, he made many anti-Israel comments and happily promoted Islamic mass murder of innocent Israeli civilians, which is the goal of his character in “Paradise Now.” Suliman is also a proud HAMAS supporter and, on his Facebook fanpage (with just 815 “Likes”), refers to Israel’s founding as the “Nakba” [Arabic for “catastrophe” or “disaster,” the common derogatory Muslim term for Israel’s founding]. Ali Suliman stands for everything Luttrell and other members of the U.S. Armed Forces fought against, and he stands for the forces that murdered Luttrell’s fellow Navy SEALS and injured Luttrell, himself. Remember when Barack Obama told a French TV Channel that the U.S. is a “Muslim nation”? Well, he’s working hard to improve the demography to make it so. The Obama Administration is seeking to bring 30,000 “vulnerable” Syrian refugees to the United States by the end of 2014 and will waive counterterrorism laws and allow those Syrians who aided and abetted Islamic terrorists, including Al-Qaeda, into the country. And these “vulnerable” Hezbollah- and Al-Qaeda-supporting Syrians will be permanently resettled here, as in green card, citizenship, billions in entitlements, and the whole tisa [Arabic for “nine”] yards.

This is a punch in the gut to America, especially to the families of the victims of the 9/11 Al-Qaeda Islamic terrorist attacks and our soldiers who were maimed or murdered in Iraq and Afghanistan. Just sickening! And they have the NERVE to call these Syrians “vulnerable”? HUH? Um, aren’t we Americans the vulnerable ones, since we will have to deal with these intolerant savages imposing themselves and their ways on us and our country? Just askin’.

A U.S. official stated publicly for the first time this week that some of the 30,000 especially vulnerable Syrians the United Nations hopes to resettle by the end of 2014 will be referred to the U.S. for resettlement. . . . Read the rest of this entry »

I already mourned the death of Ariel Sharon,the former Israeli Prime Minister and heroic General who died today, about a decade ago. That’s because the good Ariel Sharon–who fought in Israel’s War of Independence and whose heroic moves helped Israel win the 1973 Yom Kippur War against all odds (he bravely entered the Suez Canal when Israel was losing and turned things around)–died long ago, well before he went into an eight-year coma.

The Ariel Sharon who, in 2005, forced Jews out of their homes, making them mostly homeless and jobless, to give Gaza to Palestinian Muslim terrorists and savages–that Ariel Sharon is not one I shall remember fondly. Yes, he was under tremendous pressure from President George W. Bush (the first U.S. President to recognize a Palestinian State) to make concessions to the Palestinians as payback to Arab Muslim nations for their support of Bush’s pointless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But this was Sharon’s decision and Sharon’s alone. Many other Israeli Prime Ministers were similarly pressured by U.S. Presidents, but they didn’t give in. Ariel Sharon sent Israeli soldiers and police to drag Jews from the lives they had lived and homes they had built for decades. And what did it get him and Israel?

Today, Ariel Sharon’s legacy is the HAMAS state in Gaza. In fact, “He founded HAMASastan” should be his epitaph. That was among the last things Sharon did before going into a coma, and many Jews believe that’s why he found himself in that condition. G-d works in mysterious ways. And sometimes, not so mysterious. Every single Israeli killed by a HAMAS rocket launched from Gaza, every single Israeli murdered by the HAMAS government of animals in Gaza–their blood is on the hands of the ghost of Ariel Sharon. One terrific and two okay movies (plus one piece of annoying garbage) new at the movies, this weekend:

* “Lone Survivor“: This is tied for my best movie of 2013 (see my complete list of best movies of 2013 and 2012). If you want to see patriotism along with the essence of what makes America great AND what makes America weak, this is it. Whether a proud American for a strong national defense or an anti-war ninny, every American needs to see this movie. It’s a great encapsulation of what those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces risk and ultimately sacrifice. More important, it’s a fantastic portrayal of what happens when our brave men are hamstrung by one-sided Geneva Accords and useless “human rights” rules that will eventually–as in this movie–get them killed. Rules that only they obey. And it shows how the fear of courts martial and negative coverage on CNN (the network is specifically called out by name) cause soldiers to take actions that will only save Islamic terrorists and take more American lives.
