The Obama Administration finally did something right (though it would be an absolute outrage if it did not do this). The Justice Department will seek the death penalty for Islamic Terrorist Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. And to that, I say, turn him into halal Kentucky Fried Chicken.

I used to be 100% for the death penalty, until, as a criminal defense attorney, I represented some innocent people accused of crimes. I saw how easy it was for those who are unable to afford good attorneys to be convicted based on very little and/or flimsy evidence. I still support the death penalty for the most egregious crimes and those in which the evidence is stark. But, for most criminals, IF we can assure they will spend their entire lives in prison, I saye leave ’em there to rot and throw away the key.

But the case of the Tsarnaev Brothers is one of those egregious cases. They maimed and/or murdered over 200 people. They planned this and they deliberately attacked these innocent people because they were Americans who were mostly not Muslims. The surviving Tsarnaev terrorist deserves to die. In fact, he deserves to be tortured to death. Sadly, we are too “humane” to do that–to blow off his legs like he blew off the legs of several Americans. So, since we won’t do it, at the very least Dzhokhar Tsarnaev deserves to be put to death. Read the rest of this entry »

Scarlett Johansson isn’t a hero in my book. Not even close. She has a history of hanging out with and enabling Israel-haters and anti-Semites.

A lot of readers and others have asked me to post something congratulating movie star Johansson for keeping the millions of dollars she’s making for endorsing Israel’s Islamopandering SodaStream and her efforts to keep the money flowing in the face of opposition from the Israel-hating organization she promoted for EIGHT years. They also want me to congratulate her for “resigning” (she was asked to leave) from Oxfam, the openly anti-Israel organization for which she was an “ambassador” for eight years. Johansson is no pro-Israel revolutionary, despite the blind gushing by so many people who’ve elevated her to that position. But she is pro-wallet. And I give her credit for doing the math. But that’s all I give her credit for.

In fact, she knew what she was getting into when she chose to lend her name, face, and presence to Oxfam, an organization that has been openly anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, and pan-Arabist for decades. It was that way when I was in high school. It’s not news. And yet Johansson–who had no problem “dating” (euphemism) anti-Israel Iran apologist Sean Penn, and attending a dinner honoring the Emir of Qatar, Israel-boycotter extraordinaire and owner of anti-Israel, anti-American Al-Jazeera–also had no qualms with Oxfam’s vicious anti-Israel doctrine for the eight years during which she was involved in the organization. If you believe she didn’t know about and didn’t agree with Oxfam’s radical views, then you also believe the same about Barack Obama sitting in Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s church. And I have some land in Gaza to sell you.

I’ve already written about this story over and over. As I noted four years ago, the exact same thing happened to actress Kristin Davis of “Sex and the City Fame.” She was the face of Ahava, another Israeli company boycotted and attacked by Oxfam. Davis also made a lot of money for being its spokesmodel, just as Johansson has with SodaStream. Like Johansson, she also knew what Oxfam was about, and yet joined the organization and served as one of its ambassadors for years. It’s yet more proof of Billy Joel’s trademark song, “Only the Good Die Young,” as Pete Seeger is dead at age 94. I actually didn’t realize that corroded individual was still alive ’til just now. Seeger, the “folk singer,” was one of those schmucks who loved everything anti-American (and anti-Western) and everyone destructive to it. The only surprise for me about this stale refugee from the folk/hippie/yippie crowd is that he did not convert to Islam. He was definitely a halal granola type–a fruit, a nut, and a flake. If Barack Obama had a White grandfather . . . oh, wait!

Seeger protested with the Occupy crowd (and now Occupy Hell has a new leader). He called Israel “monstrous” and endorsed the boycott of the Jewish State. Plus he was one of the activists against Israeli demolition of HAMAS homes used to smuggle terrorists and their bombs. Yup, a peace activist for bombs! Only in Seegerica. (He visited Israeli kibbutzim back in the ’60s, but only ‘cuz that was the hip lefty thing to do back then. He did a quick about face on that stuff.) If Noam Chomsky had a designer line of people, Pete Seeger would be the first supermodel protesting down the semper-Fidel-fidelis runway. It figures that Bill and Hillary Clinton awarded him with the National Medal of Arts. More like Medal for old farts. Banjos all over America are rejoicing that they are free at last, free at last!

Once an official member of the Communist Party, he claimed he left it. But he never left Communism. He just gave it other names and joined its other incarnations, including the Occupy movement, the anti-war crowd, and the illegal alien cause. Oh, and did I mention that he fell for Al Sharpton’s and Tawana Brawley’s false rape accusations and protested on Brawley’s behalf, too? “If I Had a Hammer,” I still wouldn’t have used it to bang sense into this jerk’s thick and divisive skull. For him, if it was far-left, it was oh so right. If he’d had his way and we had no nukes anymore, we’d all be saluting images of Lenin, Stalin, and/or Chairman Mao. Bleeping cowards. That’s what Americans are in Sochi. Cowards.

The impending Sochi Olympic Games will be the safest Olympic Games ever. They will be much safer than the 2002 Mitt Romney Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games (where Mitt famously scolded Americans for patriotism and told them NOT to cheer for the U.S. Olympic Team–Mitt Happens). There will be more than twice the security personnel per capita in Sochi during the Games than during the Salt Lake Games or any other Olympics.

And, yet, the Obama U.S. government is telling American Olympians not to wear their uniforms outside of Olympic venues. Huh? And, then, there are athletes like Jessica Jerome of the U.S. Olympic Ski Jumping Team, who bragged to both ABC and NBC News that she told her parents, “Bring a jacket that doesn’t scream America.” Are we that cowardly that we can no longer show we are Americans and be openly proud of our country at the Olympics? The Israelis–who lost nearly their entire Olympic team at Munich–don’t act that way. They are proud and secure. Secure and proud. The only reason the Munich Islamic terrorist attacks happened to them is that the Germans and the Olympic power elites refused to let Israeli security guard the Israelis. I’ll bet the Israelis are not telling their athletes, “Make sure you don’t look Jewish (or Israeli–Israel also has non-Jewish, Arab athletes in athletic events).

I’m embarrassed that America is cowering. And since we are, why on earth are we there? If things are so unsafe that we must hide that we are Americans, then we have no business being there.

But that’s simply not the case. For all of his faults, Vladimir Putin knows how to respond to Islamic terrorists. That’s why they fear and respect him. That’s why they pick soft targets like train stations and theaters. They wouldn’t dare shoot up a Russian military base like Nidal Malik Hasan did at Fort Hood. They wish they could, but they know they wouldn’t get that far, while we looked the other way at Hasan’s behavior every step of the way. Read the rest of this entry »

Is it just me . . . or is the planned $24.00 admission fee for the 9/11 Museum very steep? The museum, the National Sept. 11 Memorial Museum, is scheduled to open soon, but clearly they don’t want this accessible to most people, especially in the Obamaconomy. Most people cannot afford to throw away $24.00–$96 for a family of four. I’ve never heard of such a steep museum admission fee. Have you?

And, on top of that, I’ll bet the museum is chock full of political correctness. Do you think they’ll note anything about Islamic terrorism and actually use the word Islam? I’ll bet they don’t. I’m sure the museum is sanitized and whitewashed of all of that, as pictures of it seem to be a collection of junk, including damaged fire trucks, notes seeking missing relatives . . . everything except what 9/11 was really about: an Islamic attack on America and Americans. Not “sanitized” is the giant annual cost they claim it will take to keep the museum running. Another PC boondoggle in the making:

The National Sept. 11 Memorial Museum will charge adults a $24 admission fee when it opens this spring, the institution announced Thursday evening. Last year, museum officials said the institution would charge an entrance fee of between $20 and $25 to offset the cost of running the institution. Families affected by the tragedy of Sept. 11, 2001 won’t be charged and there will be three free hours for the general public each week. Dinesh D’Souza committed a federal crime, the same crime that far-left liberal Democrat trial lawyer Geoffrey Fieger committed, and for which he was indicted by a Bush Administration federal grand jury in 2007. Obama’s indictment of D’Souza is not a political witchhunt. But it is politics based on a crime that D’Souza knowingly, deliberately committed and thought he’d get away with. Well, he didn’t.

I’ve got nothing but contempt for all of those “conservatives” who are publicly shedding crocodile tears over D’Souza, the “conservative” commentator who blamed American decadence for 9/11, saying we deserved it because we upset Muslim sensibilities about modesty and so on. As I’ve noted in the past, he wrote a whole book on this perverted thesis. In case you don’t believe me, read his particularly disgusting column, “Who Speaks for Islam?” in which he praises Obama’s Muslim Brotherhood adviser Dalia Mogahed and Islamotool John Esposito. D’Souza, a darling of the HAMAS CAIR and other Muslim lecture circuits, believes in immigration amnesty and the superiority of Muslims and their religion over yours and mine. He also thinks America should side with Al-Qaeda in Syria and go to war there. He said so in his “Obama 2016” plagiarism hack job “documentary” (read my review). No tears for him from me. Oh, and where are all his Muslim buddies, especially those from HAMAS CAIR–at whose events he appeared and spoke gushingly–now that he’s been indicted? They ain’t defending him. That’s for sure. And neither am I. I usually don’t defend Islamopologists, and I certainly don’t side with Hitler fans. D’Souza endearingly quoted Der Fuhrer in an anti-Semitic quote for the Yom Kippur edition of the Dartmouth Review, when he was editor-in-chief.

I have to laugh when I read the comments of D’Souza’s moviemaking partner, Gerald Molen, saying, “I have never feared my government until now.” Um, are you saying that D’Souza didn’t circumvent federal election and campaign finance laws? His own friend, Wendy Long, says he lied to her about the source of the contributions. Maybe she’s lying, too. But one thing is clear: D’Souza is the source of the funds and he knew what he was doing. Mark Levin, who claims to be a lawyer, says he read the D’Souza indictment and doesn’t see that a crime has been committed. Huh? Did federal campaign finance laws change, and he’s the only person in the world who knows about it?

It’s funny that Molen, who produced “Schindler’s List,” doesn’t get that his buddy D’Souza had an affinity for Hitler and has a current love affair with the modern-day Nazis in Islam who are far worse than the Nazis ever were. (I think he does get it, but D’Souza is making him a lot of money with entree to conservatives, and the Benjamins rule this hypocrite Molen.) Did Gerald Molen fear his government when the Bush Administration prosecuted trial lawyer Geoffrey Fieger for the same thing? Did Mark Levin cry, “Partisan witch hunt!” Fieger was indicted on four counts by the Bush Justice Department (read the federal indictment), so perhaps the Obamaniks are being soft on D’Souza, as they’ve indicted him on only one count (read the federal indictment). In 2007, the Bushies went after Geoffrey Fieger because he funneled about 20,000 to the Presidential campaign of John Edwards. He gave the money to third parties to give to Edwards, so that he could funnel more money to Edwards’ campaign than he was personally allowed to give under federal campaign donation limits. I’ve been sick the last two weeks and am finally getting over it, so forgive me for my tardiness in this week’s movie reviews. You didn’t miss much. “I, Frankenstein” was not screened for critics, usually a distinct sign that the movie stinks. There is one movie I liked out of the two new movies in theaters, this weekend:

* “Gimme Shelter: No, this has nothing to do with the Rolling Stones song of the same name. In fact, the song is nowhere in the movie. Instead it’s a feature film that’s really more like a Lifetime TV movie. Vanessa Hudgens, still trying to break from her Disney/”High School Musical” fame, plays a pregnant teen in a gritty lower class life, and it’s not worth ten dollars-plus and two hours of yours. (She made a better choice with this movie than she did with her turn in a menage-a-trois-with-a-drug-dealer sex scene in the absolutely awful “Spring Breakers”–read my review.) It was a better movie than I expected, and the acting was good. But it’s not a movie I could recommend or that you’d want to go see for enjoyment or entertainment. The movie is supposed to be based on a “true story.”

While you might say the movie is a pro-life movie, and it is touching at moments, I felt it was maudlin and manipulative. And it’s filled with stock villains closely hewed to the typical Hollywood narrative: evil, rich, White parents who want the half Black kid to abort her baby, and so on. And, frankly, I wasn’t quite sure the movie was pro-life as much as it glamorizes teen pregnancy. No, it doesn’t totally glamorize it. But, in the end, it does. If I had a teen daughter, I would not want her to see this. And while it does show what happens to kids when they don’t have a father in their lives, in this movie, the rich White dad is a typical antagonist for Hollywood, which is interesting, since the majority of absentee “fathers” who are just sperm donors in America are Black, not White. Jasim Mohammed Hasin Ramadon a/k/a Jay Hendrix a/k/a Jay Hendrex, an Iraqi Muslim immigrant, was convicted this week in a horrific, brutal gang rape of a 53-year-old Colorado Springs woman, whom he and four other Muslim immigrants drugged and nearly murdered. The jury system worked.

Recent readers know I’ve been following the case of Ramadon, who was hailed and applauded on Oprah’s defunct daytime talk show, for two reasons: 1) he is typical of many of the Muslim immigrants we bring to this country, who bring their savage, depraved values and impose them on us, sometimes with fatal and near-fatal consequences; and 2) I was involved in helping the American soldiers whose lives he saved and who helped bring him here . . . to my regret. A 21-year-od Iraqi immigrant was found guilty Tuesday on multiple counts of sexual assault, but innocent on one count of 1st degree assault. Jasim Mohammed Hasin Ramadon, also known as Jay Hendrix, was charged in the brutal rape of a Colorado Springs woman in July 2012 at a west Colorado Springs apartment complex. So, they finally arrested this spoiled, talentless punk, Justin Bieber, for DUI (driving under the influence) and resisting arrest in Miami Beach. Shouldn’t America deport the annoying, out-of-control pop star?

True, he’s not as dangerous as an Islamic terrorist. But we don’t deport those–they are Obama’s friends (and were Bush’s buddies). So, we should at least send a message about out of control celebrities and unworthy teen idols who aren’t American citizens.

When I was a kid, Bob Probert, the late Detroit Red Wings enforcer, couldn’t go to Canada for NHL games. Because of his drug and drunk driving convictions and other problems, if he returned to his native country to the north, we wouldn’t let him back in. That was back in the pre-9/11 days when our borders were a lot less porous and we took things a little more seriously (not seriously enough, but far better than today). Now, with the boondoggle that is Homeland Security, Probert probably wouldn’t have had to worry.

And so it goes with Bieber. The guy (who is a native Canadian) has a history of run-ins involving drugs and alcohol, but he always lets someone else take the fall. That was the case when his tour bus, attempting entry into Detroit, had pot on it and was detained. His Los Angeles-area home was raided by police and illegal drugs were found. And who gets the blame? Some black rapper member of his posse of hangers-on, when you know they were both in on the action. It’s been the case in many other instances. Barack Obama said this today because it is the 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion on demand. The thing is the quote is utter bunk because ObamaCare is NOT a choice and it regards my and every woman’s (and man’s) health. ObamaCare takes my choices about my body and my health–and your choices about your body and your health–absolutely away and gives it to the government. This is not about abortion. It’s about the facts of life under ObamaCare and the fact that Barack Obama couldn’t care less about women’s choices about their bodies and their health. He took that all away. ObamaCare is about limiting choice and ultimately eliminating it entirely because Big Brother knows what’s best for you. ObamaCare = force, NOT choice. Obama’s a fraud, a liar, and a hypocrite. But, then, we’ve known that for years.

President Barack Obama also issued a statement Wednesday, saying the 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision is a chance to “recommit ourselves to the decision’s guiding principle: that every woman should be able to make her own choices about her body and her health.” Read the rest of this entry »
