T.E. Lawrence a/k/a “Lawrence of Arabia” wanted to ethnically cleanse Jerusalem and all of Palestine of the Jews because he feared that the Jews would “get in the way” of the Arab nationalist movement he was leading and the vast Arab empire he was seeking to establish. Lawrence said so in a letter to Britain’s top official in the region. And, according to a Jewish leader at the time, Lawrence told him that Jews should be assimilated by the Arabs, a hilarious concept.

When I wrote about T.E. Lawrence’s pan-Arabism yesterday (and the death of Peter O’Toole, the actor who became famous for gushingly depicting him), I received a couple of e-mails and comments from individuals rushing to the defense of this Jew-hater and pioneer of dangerous Arab nationalism.

Peter O’Toole would be a nobody if the West didn’t foolishly gush over a movie celebrating the Westerner who pioneered the Arabist Middle East.

Yes, I know, Peter O’Toole was a great actor. But let’s face it: he is known as a great actor primarily because he played a Western Arabist who helped unite the most dangerous forces of Islam together against the Turks. If O’Toole had never played “Lawrence of Arabia,” I doubt he’d be the big deal, lamented worldwide, as he is today, dying yesterday at the age of 81. And the West constantly gushes over O’Toole’s star turn movie, not because of O’Toole, but because the West loves to dabble in the “exotic”–in pandering to Muslims.

I tried to watch “Lawrence of Arabia” many times and struggled to get through it. I don’t understand why it is regarded as a masterpiece (other than, as I said, for Westerners who like to think themselves “sophisticated,” “intellectual,” and better people for helping Muslims acquire power to harm the West in the long run). It is four hours long, boring, and a tribute to, ultimately, the unified power acquisition and radicalization of the Muslim Middle East with the leadership of a noblesse oblige Englishman, T. E. Lawrence. That’s a mistake the West makes over and over again. It isn’t some magnificent tale to be lavished with respect and gushing. (Chaim Weizmann, Israel’s first President, wrote that T.E. Lawrence supported the idea of a Jewish state in Israel because he thought the Jews would help the Arabs advance in various arenas. But I find that doubtful, and others have noted that Lawrence was anti-Zionist. Arabism is inherently anti-Semitic and anti-Israel because a key component of it is that all of the Middle East is Arab land. Regardless of which is the case regarding Lawrence and Zionism, it does not matter because his ultimate contribution–Arabism–was and remains, to date, a disaster for all concerned and for all of us in the West.)

The movie critics and self-appointed cultural observers who applaud “Lawrence of Arabia” are the same ones who have no problem with a Muslim immigration problem and doubling of the Muslim population and corresponding number of mosques in America since 9/11. They are the idiots who tell me and others that 9/11 wasn’t the achievement of Arab Muslims, but some nondescript group of men who may have “hijacked a religion.” They are the Lawrences of America and 10 Downing Street and Buckingham Palace who bend over and let themselves be the carpet that is stepped on by the descendants of Lawrence’s Near Eastern buddies. (That includes the Lawrence of the White House who, today, thinks he is Lawrence of post-Persia and the Ayatollahs.)

This could have been a lot funnier . . . if “Saturday Night Live” libs like executive producer Lorne Michaels had the guts to really mock Obama the way they mock everyone else, especially conservatives and Republicans. But they don’t. And so the fake sign language interpreter in the skit doesn’t mock the fake President and his fake healthcare plan. And, thus, it’s only semi-funny. In any event, check it out . . .

Here’s yet another one for the many morons who keep telling me how great and “conservative” FOX News is, when it’s really just like the rest of the liberal mainstream media . . . whether or not Megyn Kelly insists the fictional character, Santa, is White. Last night, since I couldn’t fall asleep, I was enjoying a re-run of “Burn Notice” on my local FOX affiliate. But just as it was about to end (and tell you what happened), FOX News broke in at about 12:53 a.m. with an important “ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!” Did someone shoot up a school or blow up Times Square? Nope. It was the Mandela funeral, the second one. I repeatedly flipped to the other stations, and guess what? ABC, NBC, and CBS did not break into their broadcasts to bring you “Mandelastock Part Deux.” Just “conservative” FOX and FOX News.

I watched the beginning of FOX News’ pandering coverage, until I couldn’t take it anymore. FOX News anchor Robert “50 Shades of Dumbass” Gray and reporter Greg Palkot drooled and gushed so much over Nelson “Kill the Whites” Mandela and his Xhosa tribe of bigots, I think they created a new water supply for South Africa. Unfortunately, there was no fake sign language interpreter to make it fun. In fact, there was no sign language interpreter at all–how politically incorrect and insensitive of them! I guess there are no deaf people in the Xhosa tribe.

The FOX News liberals didn’t do much for me. In fact, the commentary in my own mind was far more entertaining. I noticed that Mandela’s coffin was laid on top of about ten animal hides. The FOX guys told me those were leopard skins, but they were black and white and at least one of them looked like a zebra was murdered for Mandela’s funeral. Where’s PETA a/k/a PUTAh (People for the Unethical Treatment of Animals and humans) when you need them? Don’t worry, they don’t condemn black guys, Muslims (especially Islamic terrorists), gays, and any other preferred politically correct group. Read the rest of this entry »

I do not get the popularity of the Hobbit movies, including and especially, “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” in theaters today. Clocking in at nearly three hours(!)–161 minutes, to be exact–I was getting stir crazy sitting in my seat at the screening I attended.

The movie is long, boring, repetitive, and silly. And the plot is confusing. It has the same villains–the Orcs–as in the last Hobbit movie, “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” (read my review), which was just as long and just as boring (and just came out a year ago!). Had I left to go to the bathroom and/or get refreshments, I would not have missed a thing. And even if I had, I’d see it again, as the movie had the same things happening over and over and over again. Don’t get me wrong. I like actor Benedict Cumberbatch. But how many times do I need to see the computer-generated image of the dragon he voices writhing around in obviously computer-generated gold coins, and how many times do I need to hear him ranting. A Muslim convert wanted to blow up a passenger terminal at the Wichita, Kansas airport. And NBC News reporter Pete Williams finds it necessary to point out that this guy is “White.” Read the Federal Criminal Complaint, consisting of FBI Special Agent Stephen Cousineau’s affidavit, in which the man describes himself as “allah’s slave.”

His skin color is irrelevant to the actual deciding factor for this and most suicide bomb plots: ISLAM. Terry Loewen converted to Islam. Not sure why his skin pigment entered the picture. Have you ever seen a media report on a suicide bomber, where it says, “Jajuan Tyrone Jackson, WHO IS BLACK,” was influenced by Islamic literature and apparently converted? Nope. ‘Cuz it’s only relevant when they wanna emphasize that the would-be-terrorist is not an Arab or Muslim immigrant. But how often does that happen? Not very (though it is on the increase, and I’ve written about it on this site).

Also, note that this guy attempted to use his airport security pass. I’ve written about that, too, and how the security screening by TSA is a joke and completely irrelevant, since it doesn’t apply to airport workers (here and here). And note that this “White” guy was egged on by FBI informants who invented the whole plot and made sure that what he thought were explosives weren’t. As I’ve repeatedly warned, there are plenty of cases of Muslim extremist airport workers, and the feds look the other way on them. They could just as easily entrap them for this plot, but they usually don’t choose to. That’s why they emphasize that this guy is “White,” as in non-Arab, non-Asian. And, finally, note that they never say this guy converted to Islam, only that he was radicalized by “Islamic material.” Um, when a guy talks about how allah wants him to behave and says he’s “allah’s slave,” it’s pretty clear he’s become Muslim. I mean, when was the last time you heard a Christian or Jew say that?

A 58-year-old airport worker was charged Friday with allegedly planning a suicide bombing at a passenger terminal at the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport in Kansas. The suspect, Terry Lee Loewen, an avionics technician who lives in Wichita, was arrested earlier in the day as he attempted to use his security pass to drive a vehicle that he thought contained explosives onto the tarmac at the airport, law enforcement officials said at a news conference in Wichita. After World War II, the federal government forcibly lobotomized 2,000 American military men and women who served. It’s a scary omen of what’s to come under ObamaCare, as the government takes on more and more big brother control of our healthcare. Today’s Wall Street Journal has an outrageous two-page-long story beginning on the front page. What it describes isn’t just a nightmare. It’s reality, and don’t be surprised if it ultimately becomes the kind of reality to which we are all subject when ObamaCare is fully implemented. The men who served and were lobotimized mostly ended up predictably as vegetables or as adults with the minds and functionality of children.

Below is a taste–a taste of what happens when government is in charge of your healthcare. No, it’s not a frightening episode of “The Twilight Zone.” It’s a frightening preview of 2014 ObamaCare and beyond. This happened then–when the Veterans Administration ran the healthcare for soldiers arriving back home from World War II. It can happen when the entire government runs your healthcare. It’s shameful and disgusting–the government took lives from the men who served and sentenced them to live befuddled and unable to be independent and care for themselves for the rest of their time on earth. And it’s a harbinger of things to come under ObamaCare. Bet on it.

And yet another group of Barack Obama’s traditional (or, in this case, traditionally untraditional) allies is upset about ObamaCare: gay and HIV/AIDS activists. They say that the deductibles are so high that those afflicted with HIV/AIDS cannot afford the steep payments for drugs they must take. They say this constitutes “discrimination” against them for a pre-existing condition. Really? Tell that to all the cancer victims who are also now finding out their drugs and treatments will be either too expensive or just won’t happen, because they won’t be able to go to their preferred doctors anymore. That’s discrimination, too, isn’t it? In fact, isn’t the whole ObamaCare program discrimination against middle class Americans, who are now being forced to pay more to foot the bill for the ObamaPhone demographic? Just sayin’.

A coalition of 31 HIV/AIDS organizations is urging the Obama administration to investigate whether some health insurers are trying to discourage HIV-infected patients from enrolling in new policies being sold under the health-care law, a move the groups say could be illegal. I could tell a long time ago that the game, er . . . “sport” of bowling was dying. I knew it because, over the years, a lot of bowling alleys in my area have shut their doors. Last year, AMF Bowling–the largest chain of bowling alleys in America–filed for bankruptcy. And you never hear about kids having bowling alley birthday parties anymore. Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal made my observations official. The paper reports that bowling went from nine million Americans in 1980 down to two million–and dwindling–today who participate regularly in the game. And I’m not too disappointed. I hate bowling.

It’s not that I like to see American businesses close–even if they are bowling alleys or bowling magazines or bowling products and services providers. Those are jobs for Americans that won’t be farmed out to some call center in Mumbai. They’re American jobs that disappear, and it’s sad whenever that happens. But I just hate the sport–and how can you call this game which takes no athleticism (and is populated by mostly fat people) a sport? When I was a kid, my friends and I all had bowling birthday parties. (If it wasn’t that, it was roller skating rink birthday parties.) And I hated it, but I went along with it because I was only a kid, and that was the fallback venue parents chose for parties: a bowling alley. And I was not a spoiled kid. I was happy that my parents took the time and effort to put together a birthday party for me because I knew it took work and not all the parents could afford to do this for their kids. We really needed a fake sign language interpreter when Barack Obama said, “if you like your plan, you can keep your plan,” “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”

It’s only fitting that a false hero had a fake sign language interpreter at his funeral. And it would have been a great opportunity for an Islamic terrorist to hit all of his friends and foes of the world in one fell swoop, since there was no security screening and no metal detectors at Mandelastock. But even funnier than the story of the guy who pretended to be signing at Mandela’s funeral are the reactions of the hosts of NBC’s “Today” show and ABC’s “The View” after they and/or their producers mocked the fake signer on their respective shows, this morning. I only wish videos of those were up already (but, sadly, they are not, so you’ll have to read my descriptions, below).

The mocking was funny. The PC apologies afterward were even more hilarious . . . and revealing of the humorlessness of these politically correct, uber-left hosts.

First up was NBC’s “Today” show. From 9:00-10:00 a.m. Eastern, the show is co-hosted by Al Roker, Natalie Morales, and Willie Geist. At first, while they were describing the story, a bubble popped up on the screen, featuring a post-middle-aged Today show producer doing fake sign language of what they were saying. It was hilarious. But Roker, Morales, and Geist put on their faux-serious faces and got all upset, urging the producer to stop. Then, they apologized profusely, over and over again for this. Then, two segments later, they began another segment with more serious apologies. Guys, get a sense of humor (and get rid of whatever it is that’s stuck up your rear ends) . . . STAT.
