It’s good to know that, despite America falling back into a deep sleep after 9/11, authorities are still keeping their eyes on Muslims and flight schools, after ignoring flight school owners’ pleas and tips before the Al-Qaeda attacks.  A Southern California woman ran a flight school scam, illegally helping to bring foreign nationals–many of them Muslims from Egypt–to the U.S. via visa fraud.  Congrats to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who busted this case wide open. The thing is that, in many cases like this, the students then disappear somewhere into the American abyss, and ICE never finds them, so don’t believe the claims by ICE and the news reports that there is no national security problem here. There is. Note that the story doesn’t say whether all the students had been located, detained, and put in deportation proceedings. That’s because they probably haven’t found many of them.

Federal agents on Wednesday arrested a Lake Elsinore woman accused of bringing foreign students to train at her flight school on fraudulent visas without government authorization.

Karena Chuang, 28, was arrested at a friend’s house in Rancho Cucamonga, charged with visa fraud for allegedly enrolling students from Egypt, Sri Lanka and Taiwan at her La Verne-based flight school, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said.

“It is a huge vulnerability,” said Claude Arnold, special agent in charge of ICE Homeland Security Investigations in Los Angeles. “If these people aren’t going through the proper screening process that is required by the U.S. government, then we don’t know their intentions, we don’t know their origins.” Read the rest of this entry »

If the Occupy movement occupied anything, it should be colleges and universities across the country.  Their parents paid for and/or they took out loans so they could take valuable, enlightening courses, such as the “The Biology & Art History of Lady Gaga and Her Monsters,” and now they can’t find any jobs to go with the skills they didn’t learn in college.  College and university educations are the only things that have rapidly declined in value and yet rapidly increased in price.  They are the only places where people teach an hour a week regurgitating notes and presentations they wrote up two decades ago, have job security and benefits for life, and earn well over $100,000 per year, plus generous benefits, including full medical.  Now, colleges and universities have stepped up their roles as far-left re-education camps, teaching kids not how to think or produce things of value, but how to appreciate not just the opposite sex, but the used-to-be opposite sex that now parades as the same sex.  If I were a parent, I would refuse to help pay for college if my child lived in a dorm with only he/she/it bathrooms.

Male, female, straight, gay, lesbian, transgender — labels don’t matter at Iowa’s Grinnell College. Students can share a dormitory room, bathroom, shower room or locker room with any of the above, if they choose. Read the rest of this entry »

There’s a reason my late father (Of Blessed Memory) used to call Ann Arbor, “Moscow on the Huron” at the time the Soviet Union was still in existence.

Take the case of Dr. Howard Weinblatt, an Ann Arbor, Michigan pediatrician.  My father would have been sickened by this. At age 65, Dr. Weinblatt’s whole career and life has been ruined by ridiculously overzealous far-left prosecutors.  It’s incredible that in two other areas of the country, coaches, universities, police, and, yes, prosecutors did nothing as two men repeatedly molested young boys; but, yet, Washtenaw County prosecutors are charging Dr. Rosenblatt with FOUR(!) felonies for looking out the window of his house as a neighbor girl apparently undressed without pulling the shades.  Dr. Weinblatt didn’t use a telescope or trespass on someone else’s property.  He merely looked out his own window while in the confines of his own home.

Apparently, police and prosecutors have solved all crime in Ann Arbor and have nothing better to do.  Even if the charges are dropped, who is going to take their kids to be examined by Dr. Weinblatt, now that he’s been vilified all over the news locally here in the Detroit area?  The initial stories on Tuesday and Wednesday didn’t even note that Dr. Weinblatt looked out his own window.  Instead, as I read them, it appeared that the doctor had been spying on a young patient through a window in his office.  But that wasn’t the case at all. Yet, Dr. Weinblatt could do up to eight years in prison for all of this. He has never had a criminal incident, let alone one involving peeping Tomism or something involving minors.  Washtenaw County Prosecutor Brian Mackie–a liberal Democrat–ought to be ashamed . . . and run out of office.  Sadly, neither of those will happen.  More:

You gotta watch the whole video.  This woman is the walking definition of the word, “chutzpah,” but, sadly, this is America, now. We’ve lost the culture war, big-time. I guess you could call Adams, and her 15 illegitimate kids with different men, the “anti-Duggars.”  We constantly hear nosy liberals whining about TV’s Duggar Family for conceiving 20 kids.  But you never hear those same nosy, whiny liberals complaining about women like Ms. Adams.  Gee, I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that the Duggars are married White Christians in a nuclear family, and Adams is a Black woman on public assistance who sleeps around.  You bet it does.  In today’s world, it’s married Christian White family = BAD! and single babymama of 15 on welfare = GOOD!  Nuclear families like the Duggars are, sadly, an endangered species in America, and slut byproduct “families” like Angel Adams and her brood–regardless of race–are more and more the norm, to America’s detriment. But do you think you’ll see People Magazine doing a cover story (as they did with the Duggars), asking “How Many Kids Are Too Many?” Don’t hold your breath.

Rumor has it that Barack Obama’s ineffective, incompetent, money-wasting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) chief, John Moron Morton, will soon be leaving his post.  But that’s not before he’s allegedly wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars on taxpayer-funded booty call trips to his New York-based girlfriend.  And then there’s the do-nothing plum job he created out of whole cloth for his friend, Erik Barnett.  You’ve probably never heard of him, but you are paying for him to take a luxe year-long sabbatical to Europe . . . and his brand new $55,000 Audi.

Over the last year or so, a number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have contacted me regarding Erik Barnett and how he has used his government positions to cozy up to the movie industry and try to get hired by a Hollywood studio.  They can’t figure out what else he does for a living.  It’s certainly not protecting U.S. citizens from illegal aliens, nor is it enforcing U.S. customs law.  Mr. Barnett is now making well over $200,000 per year in salary and benefits, while he hangs out in Brussels in the dubious position of “Senior Policy Advisor to the European Union/Deputy Director of the IPR Center for Europe.”  IPR stands for Intellectual Property Rights, and Barnett’s job is allegedly to advise the European Union on how to protect their intellectual property rights and those of pro sports teams and celebrities here in America.  Check out the invitation for Barnett’s “good-bye” party, held by ICE in September announcing his cushy new ICE job in Belgium.

Why you–and not the European Union or wealthy pro sports leagues and Hollywood–are paying for this BS position is a question you’d have to ask Barack Hussein Obama and his hand-picked ICE chief, Mr. Moron. Oh, and Morton’s direct boss, Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano.  The job Barnett holds didn’t exist under the Bush Administration.  It was created by Morton to give his buddy, Barnett, a George Washington University law professor and staffer to uber-liberal Senator Dick “Gitmo is Auschwitz” Durbin, a fancy European vacation on your dime.  (Barnett worked with Morton as an assistant U.S. Attorney in Virginia and has zero law enforcement experience. His list of paper-pusher bureaucrat jobs is on LinkedIn.)  The job was never announced, nor was there an application, interview process, or any other competitive selection procedure, as is the case with normal government jobs. I’ve not been posting much in the last few days and weeks because I’ve been preparing for and been in trial defending someone.  I can’t go into any details because the matter is ongoing and I have certain ethical and legal obligations as a lawyer with regard to ongoing matters.  Thanks to everyone who inquired and/or expressed concern about my absence.

I’d planned to have things up in my absence, but you know what they say about the best laid plans . . . and G-d’s plans.  They conflict, and he always wins out.  However, I’m now back and will be posting a lot more real soon, including in the next few hours.  Stay tuned.

For those who constantly, fallaciously claim that there is no adherence to sharia (Islamic law) in Dearbornistan, I’ve given you many examples over the years of the contrary.  And now, John Benitez, Jr., a Vietnam War veteran and male nurse, gives us yet another example.  He filed a lawsuit against the City of Dearbornistan for discriminating against him, a non-Muslim, and firing him from his job at a city-operated medical clinic.  His crime?  He treated female Muslim patients, when ordered to by a superior.  The clinic is now closed, but you have to wonder why the debt-ridden city was operating a medical clinic in the first place.  And I guarantee you that many of the Muslim patients claiming “need” to get this city-funded healthcare were committing fraud.  Medicaid fraud (and other entitlement fraud)–as I’ve noted on this site over the years–is rampant in that community.

I’ve already reviewed some of the good new movies for Thanksgiving that came out on Wednesday.  Now, here are the also-rans–two I didn’t get to, and one (Marilyn) which just debuted in theaters in my area, today.  There’s one decent one and one which is just simply horrifying garbage.

*  “My Week With Marilyn“: I’ve always thought Marilyn Monroe was the most overrated figure in history.  She was nothing more than a selfish, neurotic, self-absorbed, manipulative, temperamental bimbo, respected only because like James Dean and JFK, she was mediocrity that died young.  And, so, I expected to hate this movie.  But I liked it, in part because it goes along with my view.  On the other hand, others who buy into the “Myth of Marilyn” also like it.  Thus, I guess Marilyn flicks are in the eye of the Marilyn beholder.  I also liked this because it’s light and fun and full of glamor from the time in which it takes place, the ’50s.  It’s not a “great” movie destined to be a classic, but it’s not bad.  It’s entertaining and is what we expect to get out of a good time at the movies–almost two hours of escapism.  It’s also enjoyable because Michelle Williams nails it, making us instantly believe she is Marilyn Monroe.  She gets the persona down in every way, from the mannerisms and behavior to the voice and the look.  It’s uncanny. It’s funny that the end of YouTube clips for ABC’s anti-male yenta hagfest, “The View,” urges viewers to watch ABC for “the full experience.” Um, no thanks. This little clip and others I’ve posted and reported upon about these airheaded, ugly witches are enough to last several lifetimes. Even funnier is that moron Whoopi Goldberg–who doesn’t believe American astronauts landed on the moon, who doesn’t think Roman Polanski drugging and raping a 13-year-old girl is rape, who denies Muslims perpetrated the 9/11 attacks, and who denies that Helen Thomas and Mel Gibson are Jew-hating anti-Semites (and claimed there weren’t Jews in Israel for many years in recent times, an absolute lie)–called Michele Bachmann a “bonehead.”  Note, by the way, how these sexist, jealous chick-haters dismiss Michele Bachmann as a “pretty” woman because they don’t want to give her any credibility. Yes, she is beautiful. But if she were just looks, she wouldn’t have made it this far. Also note that smiling fraud Elisabeth Hagselbeck (not a typo) doesn’t for a second defend Bachmann or stand up for her the way she constantly does for Barack and Michelle Hussein Obama.

Full disclosure: I was guilty of attacking Bachmann’s intellect, once in the past, because she compared the taxes on Americans and future generations to the Holocaust. And I’ve noted that she’s made several verbal gaffes. But so has “brilliant” President Obama (57 states, baby!), and while she may not have an over-rated, grade-inflation-infested Harvard degree, she is whip smart and sharp on the issues. She’d eat Whoopi Goldberg for lunch in a debate, something I’d pay money to see–TKO in the first round. I think we know who the “bonehead” is. It’s the unfunny lesbionic Marxist “comedienne” with dreadlocks, a faux-surname mocking Jews, and matriarch of three generations of unwed mothers. Pardon me for not picking this biotch to tell me who is and “isn’t Presidential material.” I’m not sure if I’m allowed to call this yet another case of the pot calling the kettle black because I might get accused of racism for using the word black by bonehaads like Whoopi Goldberg. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, my dear friends and readers across America (and to my international friends and readers, I give my thanks to you, even if you do not celebrate this very American holiday which I love so much). We have much to be thankful about here in America as we approach the conclusion of 2011. Aside from our health and welfare, we can rest assured that there are only 5 more years of President Barack Obama at most. And a Thanksgiving Mubarak [“Blessed Thanksgiving,” in Arabic] to all of the current Islamo-pandering residents of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Today, I give thanks that we are still free, that we are not yet an Islamic nation, and that I won’t be around when America becomes one and we lose everything. I am thankful that I don’t live in a country that practices sharia and treats women like chattel, a country that conducts pogroms against Jews and Christians and seizes their property, in addition to their lives. If you think that’s not coming, then you see a future America in which we take a tough approach to securing our borders and rounding up those inside who don’t legally belong here. You also see a future America in which we don’t bend over–backward AND forward–to the demands of the terrorism supporters a/k/a Muslims who now have green cards and citizenship because we did nothing to stop that. And you see an America in which they don’t have a huge birthrate, fast outpacing the rest of America. I don’t see that . . . yet or ever, until it’s too late. And it’s already too late. I asked our Jedi Master of Photoshop, artist David Lunde to make the photo below, which is what I see as future Thanksgivings in America a century or more from now, although that doesn’t take into account that Muslims in many parts of America refuse to celebrate Thanksgiving. Go to Dearbornistan today, and it’s business as usual, not an American national holiday (something they never celebrate).

On a lighter and happier note, to those who wished me a Happy Thanksgiving, I regret I cannot respond to each of you personally, but Right Back At Ya! Thank you for reading this site this past year, over the years before that, and, I hope, in the next year. Thank you for posting your mostly terrific comments, and thanks for your tips and your support and contributions. I am thankful for all of that and all of you. I wish you a joyous, delicious, fun Thanksgiving to you all! And I hope you will take the time beyond the Turkey and cranberry sauce to give thanks that our country is still free and that we are all alive and kicking. Those are my primary things to be thankful for, in addition to being a citizen of the greatest country on earth. Those of us who are healthy are thankful for that, and those who are not . . . well, I’m thankful we still have the best healthcare system on earth, until ObamaCare comes into full swing, if gutless Republicans don’t reverse it and we have a President like Newt Gingrich who doesn’t think it’s so bad.
