Tonight’s CBS TV Movie is a two-hour Lifetime-style waste of time on the BTK killer. Besides being the usual brain-addled damsel-in-distress “movie of the week” crap, this movie is exactly what the BTK killer wanted.
BTK wanted fame–even wrote notes to police and the press asking what he needed to do to get noticed, to get more publicity. He craved this notoriety, and tortured and murdered ten innocent women to attain it. By doing this two-hour movie, CBS is playing right into his hands–rewarding this cretin on network prime-time. And making some greedy, callous Hollywood producers even more wealthy.
Unlike CBS, we won’t repeat BTK’s real name or post his picture here. That’s what he wants.
Hopefully, and likely, it will be tape-delayed by NFL football and trounced by “Desperate Housewives” in the ratings.
CBS . . . the network that rewards serial killers.

The ADL is an extremely liberal organization that works together with the ACLU and the (which is now using the courts to ). The ADL doesn’t honor just anyone. It honors people who are liberal and share its very liberal agenda. There is a reason Harriet Miers was honored by the ADL and it’s not for her being a conservative (if she is one at all).

It’s rare, these days, that I praise management officials of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). Some are incompetent. Some are dishonest. And some are (or soon will be).
Worst of all, several–ie., a/k/a “Abu Moskowitz”–are shameless panderers to Islamists and “former” terrorists like (an FBI award revokee), to the point of shutting down all investigations involving their communities.
But all is not lost, apparently.

Baker: Finally, an ICE Official Stands Up to Hamadafat
Now comes news that there is an ICE official who does not wither away when it comes to enforcing immigration laws: Robin F. Baker, who heads ICE Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) for Michigan and Ohio. In the heart of Islamic America, it appears that Robin Baker is willing to actually do his job, instead of pandering to the loud forces of radical Islam in the community, including “former” terrorist Hamad.
Baker’s agents arrested and then deported Mosbah Mahmoud Zahr, a Muslim Lebanese man convicted of cocaine possession, who was ordered deported nearly FIFTEEN(!) years ago. But, the press and the Islamic leadership–who claim they are “law-abiding”–have painted Baker as the villain for the unspeakable crime of enforcing the law.
Despite the fact that Zahr was here illegally and had no right to be here, the usual whining, bitching, and moaning of “former” terrorist Hamad filled the sympathetic pages of The Detroit News, this week. Hamad complained that Zahr now has a family–just as Hamad’s own lawyer whined when Hamad was supposed to be deported (but Janet Reno and Bill Clinton gave up fighting and allowed him to stay and become a citizen). The News treated us to several pics of Zahr’s hijab-encrusted, bawling family.
But here’s a tip to illegal immigrants: If you care so much about women and children, don’t marry them and have them (respectively). And don’t do coke and commit crimes. And here’s a word to the women who marry illegal immigrants and have kids with them: Tough! You got what you deserve. Many illegal immigrants marry and have kids, then try to use them and their unfortunate U.S. citizenship as an excuse to stay here–a reason why we should have laws here like they have in Britain (where parents must be British citizens for the offspring to get citizenship).
Baker’s office fought to deport Roger Ebert’s favorite Islamic terrorist, –a case which the Detroit U.S. Attorney’s office and the Justice Department later lost.
To his credit, I note that Baker was also NOT present at the recent, outrageous pandering “Town hall” meeting I attended at the . The other ICE official in town–Abu Moskowitz–was, along with a complete retinue of servile underlings.
ICE agents tell me that being a DRO Field Office Director, as is Baker, is tough work. “The rank and file DRO officers are the Log Dogs. They really are good people who work their butts off trying to keep America safe and who take out the garbage,” one agent, who lauded Baker, wrote me. “They deserve better.”
Yes, they do. And I applaud them–men like Rob Baker–for fighting the good fight and standing up to the pressures of those like Hamad who support our enemies.
They are the front lines in keeping our country safe from the cancerous invasion of illegal immigrants and the incompetent Homeland Security and ICE “leadership” who do nothing to stop it.

On this site, we’ve been following–with dismay–the ever increasing . Two items, this week, are part of the continuing crisis:
* USA Today’s Sports Section has been running full-page ads, like the one on page 6C on Tuesday, for L’oreal’s new men’s beauty line, called, “Men’s Expert.”
The products sound like they are for women. I find it a bit odd for any man to use “Circle Eraser Anti-Dark Circle Eye Moisturizer,” or “Stop Lines Anti-Lines Moisturizer,” or “Vita Lift Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Moisturizer”–all of which are part of L’Oreal’s new line for women . . . I mean, “men.” If “Vita Lift” sounds familiar, that’s because “Vita Lift” started out as a L’Oreal Women’s product and still is one.

Then, there is the “Power Buff Anti-Roughness Exfoliator.” Hello . . . men are supposed to be rough. No man should ever use exfoliator–unless his favorite song is by “The Weathergirls.”
They try to make this stuff sound masculine by calling it “the Winning Team.” Maybe what they really mean is, “Play for the OTHER team.” This goop is anything but masculine. Somebody get this stuff off my USA Today Sports section. PLEASE.
And don’t go to the L’Oreal men’s website, unless you want to hear bad, effeminate Yanni-style music and see gay models. It’s no coincidence that L’Oreal is FRENCH.

* Then, there are the Olsen Twins. The greedy gazillionaire girls are not satisfied with their gazillions, apparently. So, to make even more, the’ve hired a new, younger set of girl twins to replace them as the spokesmodels of their Dualstar company. Except that the girl twins are really boys. They just look like girls. And it’s by design.
The Olsen Twins told the Wall Street Journal that these girlie-boy twins will be marketing male beauty products for young boys like the ones L’Oreal is shoving onto men’s sports pages. The male beauty industry for girlie-men is now cradle to grave.
Somebody stop them.

Remember Daniel Ortega, Communist el Presidente of Nicaragua? Remember his Sandinistas?
He’s BAAAAACK! That’s right. In yet another sign that President Bush is asleep at the switch, Ortega, the uber-left tyrant, is back and about to retake the Nicaraguan presidency.
Ortega–the man who terrorized his country with the Sandinista goons, seized property, took Jewish synagogues and set fire to them while people were praying inside (and “transferred” Jewish centers to Palestinians for youth clubs)–is about to regain his position as President of Nicaragua, which he held in the ’80s. As el Presidente, he trained PLO, IRA, and various Communist and Islamist forces on Western hemisphere soil, allowing them to roam Nicaragua.

Ronald Reagan fought to get him out, even risking his Presidency through the Iran-Contra scandal, because getting rid of tyrannical Ortega and Communism on our hemisphere was so important. Aid to the Contras, Violeta Chamorro, and La Prensa–I guess it was all for nothing. George W. Bush seems not to notice Ortega is about to get back in, establishing his strategic, far-left beachhead once more. It’s yet another sign that George W. Bush is the Jimmy Carter of the ’00s.
Oh, sure, President Bush is threatening to send Nicaragua’s ambassador home. I’m sure that will be as effective as it has been for the following ambassadorless countries: Iran, Saddam’s Iraq, Cuba, etc.
In the late ’70s, Carter was telling us to stop using energy, turn down thermostats, and ride bikes to work. Today, it’s Bush doing the talking. Different party, same message. In the late ’70s, the Peanut Farmer Prez allowed Ortega to seize power in Nicaragua and establish a Soviet-funded Communist beachhead on our hemisphere (in addition to Cuba). Today, same deal, different face in the White House.
Same old Ortega, too. The Gucci glasses of the ’80s are gone. He probably got Lasik. But he did not get a conscience. Plus, since he last presided in Managua, he’s been accused of sexually molesting his step-daughter–the same way he molested Nicaragua. New fashion accessories, same old despot.
We’ve had enough bad remakes from the ’70s in the theaters this summer. But the worst remakes–like the return to power of scumbags like Ortega–appear not to be produced by Hollywood. Instead, this one is executive produced by an absentee investor: President Bush.
. Miers. Ortega. The axis of signs that George W. Bush is no Ronald Reagan (despite Ortega’s campaign slogans to the contrary). He’s the patrician, Republican remake of the Peanut Farmer from Georgia.

Remember “Miami Vice” star Philip Michael Thomas (“Ricardo Tubbs”)? He’s now playing hypocrite in the world of kids.
USA Weekend reports that he is debuting his own children’s theater musical, “Sacha and the Magic Cookie Maker.” It’s kind of interesting for Thomas to be engaged in children’s theater, since he is the deadbeat parent to TWELVE(!) mostly illegitimate children, which he fathered with almost as many women.
When we last caught up with Tubbs/Thomas, he was a “professor” at Hampton University. Yes, in the nouveau Harriet Miers tradition, students were forced to call this proud high school graduate, “Dr. Thomas.” He has an honorary Ph.D. from his “Miami Vice” days. Now he is the magical musical maker to a lot of kids–except his own.

Regardless of all this, we note that even Philip Michael Thomas is more qualified than to become head of Homeland Security’s ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
After all, Thomas has more law enforcement experience than Julie Myers does–even if he only played a cop on TV and is the voice of “Lance” on “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.” It’s still more law enforcement experience than the zero Myers has. And Thomas has more management experience. True, he didn’t manage his 12 children very well. But he did manage students, now manages a kids musical production company, and managed fake hookers and informants as Ricardo Tubbs on “Miami Vice.”
Myers’ “management” experience consists of briefly being an Assistant U.S. Attorney, where she claims she managed agents (but actually did not)–and an Assistant Treasury Secretary over Operation Greenquest, where, again, she claims she managed agents (but actually Marcy Forman-Friedman, with whom she constantly fought, managed the agents).
Yes, it is depressing when–post 9/11–a washed up ’80s TV actor and deadbeat parent of 12 is more qualified than the actual nominee to lead the most important law enforcement division in the War on Terror, that which “enforces” immigration law.
Ricardo Tubbs or Julie Myers? Sadly, the guy with the pink blazer, cool car, and 12 kids is better for America’s safety. That’s what a joke has become.

While it looks like the ludicrous nomination of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) Princess heir-apparent will be shoved through, there’s still hope for common sense.
Today’s Washington Post reports that Julie Myers’ nomination, for Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security over ICE, is now the subject of a possible jurisdictional fight between Senate committees. The Post details a request by four members of the Judiciary Committee, including Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) who chairs the Immigration Subcommittee, for a hearing on Myers–in addition to the hearing held by Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
Hopefully, this will delay the rushed Homeland Security vote sought by other Republicans, DHS, and the White House. The Post says that Myers’ qualifications are “something that’s on [senators’] radar.” Well, it’s about time. And not just for phony protestations–like those of Sens. and , who are inexplicably supporting Myers despite vocal pronouncements otherwise.
Not holding my breath. But still cause for hope for some common sense in the U.S. Senate.
First, unqualified Myers for ICE. Then, unqualified Miers for SCOTUS. I’m waiting for a third unqualified woman with yet another alternative spelling of the surname to be nominated by President Bush. How about Oscar Meyer’s daughter for head of the FDA?
I heard she knows how to spell “bologna.”

Meet America’s latest big boob. No, it’s not one of Anna Nicole Smith’s.
His name is Josh Rushing, the Village Voice’s fave former Marine Captain. And he’s very excited about his latest showbiz role: chief American monkey for Al Jazeera.
When we last saw Rushing, he was out of a job (he was Al-Jazeera’s press liaison at Central Command), going on “Nightline,” Bill Moyers’ “NOW” on PBS, and whatever other liberal media sop would have him and his “somebody give me a job” pronouncements. Ted Koppel gushed over him.
Rushing was looking for a job because he was essentially fired from the U.S. military after his moronic starring role in the Al-Jazeera propaganda fluff film, “Control Room.”
Not only is he a bigger boob than Anna Nicole Smith’s entire chest combined, Rushing also shares her intellect and the politics of . . . well, Al-Jazeera. Maybe that’s why Al-Jazeera just hired Rushing to be it’s American propagandist . . . er, correspondent.

His pronouncements in “Control Room” were replete with comparisons of FOX News Channel to Al-Jazeera and wishes to make a career of promoting “the Palestinian issue.”
“Control Room” was the 2004 one-sided promotional vehicle for the terrorist news network. American military press aides–especially Rushing–were portrayed as stupid (in Rushing’s case, not a stretch) and insensitive. American military personnel were portrayed as murderers, liars, and everything else bad you can think of. Al-Jazeera, of course, was portrayed as a noble, non-biased bastion of journalism. Why, its chief producer was upset when, at the start of the War in Iraq, a booker chose a far-left American-basher instead of someone “more balanced.” Yeah, right.
Detroit Free Press film critic, no conservative, wrote of “Control Room” that it “leaves unanswered far too many critical questions about Al Jazeera’s mission, its funding, its status in Arab countries, and its standing among international media.”
Rushing–loved by most mainstream media as “genuinely committed” (Entertainment Weekly), “articulate” (Time Magazine), and “impressive” (Seattle’s KING5) – had some interesting comments in “Control Room,” when he wasn’t stumbling over his words.
On FOX News Channel: “We’re watching Al-Jazeera and I can tell what they’re showing, and then I can tell what they’re not showing by choice. . . . Same thing when I watch FOX on the other end of the spectrum. It benefits Al-Jazeera to play to Arab nationalism because that’s their audience, just like FOX plays to American patriotism for the exact same reason–American nationalism.”
Huh?
FOX News Channel is not a government-run media outlet. Al-Jazeera, founded and funded by Qatar’s Royal Al-Thani family, is. FOX News doesn’t employ “journalists” who moonlight as terrorists. Al-Jazeera does. Days ago, Taysir Alouni, an Al-Jazeera war correspondent, was convicted in Spain of financing, recruiting and logistically supporting Al Qaeda. An Al-Jazeera reporter was arrested in 2004 for providing monetary and other aid to Palestinian terrorists. I don’t see Brit Hume or Sean Hannity doing that anytime soon.
Al Jazeera features a weekly religious show hosted by terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual leader, Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi–who issues fatwas urging homicide bombings in Israel and against U.S. soldiers in Iraq. FOX News does no such thing.
But Josh Rushing is too dense to see a difference. Now working for Jazeera, Rushing says he’d “like to go on FOX News as much as possible.” Good luck.
Then there is Rushing on Israel. When bloated Al-Jazeera “journalist” Hassan Ibrahim complains about “Palestine” and compares it to Iraq and the Israelis to Americans, Rushing responds, “I absolutely agree with you. If I get out of the Marine Corps and do anything, I wanna do something with the Palestinian issue. I don’t think Americans are getting good information about it. I really don’t.”
Funny how none of these comments made it into the recent USA Today cover story puff piece on Rushing.
Rushing tells Al-Jazeera how its footage of Iraqi bombing victims “didn’t affect me as much” as footage of dead American soldiers and hostages and that he just forgot about it and went to dinner. “It upset me on a profound level that I wasn’t as bothered as much.”
There’s more of Rushing’s servile “tell ’em what they wanna hear about us evil Americans” pronouncements. He can’t help it. He just wants to be loved. As Detroit Free Press film critic Lawson writes of Rushing, “he often seems to be auditioning for a best friend role.” Sometimes “serving your country” isn’t really much of a service.
When “Control Room” came out, Pentagon brass realized what a mistake they made allowing this fawning, airheaded charmer to appear in this Islamist version of Leni Riefenstahl Productions. They demoted Rushing back to the graveyard of Hollywood studio liaison and made it clear he wouldn’t be moving up again. They also forbade him from ever talking to the press again.
So Rushing quit the Marine Corps, and begged for a job on “Nightline” and everywhere else. And his dream of “do[ing] something with the Palestinian issue” came true when the only employer that would have him–his old friends at Jazeera–came-a-calling. The marine didn’t see working for this murder-enabling network as disloyal. They’re paying him much more than the $70,000 the Marines paid. Don’t expect someone without a brain to have a conscience.
Now this enemy-pandering nimrod, Josh Rushing, is the new face of America to billions of radical Muslims worldwide.
No wonder they disdain us.

It’s outrageous. But not surprising.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents returning from New Orleans say that the agency employed illegal aliens to serve ICE agents food during the ongoing relief efforts. Few of the servers even spoke English, the ICE agents report.
It’s just a tad outrageous that the lead agency charged with stopping illegal immigration (and doing a horrible job at it), employed illegal immigrants in New Orleans. How do you say “hypocrites” in Spanish?
What a joke! It would be funny, if it weren’t so disturbing. It’s just another illustration that ICE doesn’t care about enforcing immigration laws–a primary reason for its existence.

“Oversaw” Relief Efforts by Employing Illegal Aliens
Yet, ICE continues to waste money sending dedicated former INS agents, like Matthew Albence, a Deputy ICE Special Agent in Charge, to represent ICE at international conferences–like the one he attended in June in Japan–on “Developing a Coordinated Inter-Agency National Action Plan to Eradicate Trafficking in Persons.” Looks like in New Orleans, ICE was trafficking in a few persons itself. No international conference changed that.
Since ICE is not only the lead immigration agency, but also was the lead law enforcement agency in New Orleans following the hurricane, the ICE agents were in disbelief. Other law enforcement agencies were instructed to follow ICE’s lead. Did that include the employment of illegals?, the outraged ICE agents wondered.
Ask Marcy Forman-Friedman (or e-mail her), ICE Director of Investigations, who was running the show in New Orleans–or was supposed to be. Ask New Orleans ICE Special Agent in Charge Michael Holt. But don’t expect any answers from either. Reportedly, Forman is busy trying to become a Special Agent in Charge in Maryland, so she can high-tail it out of ICE headquarters in Washington, away from unqualified ICE Princess heir-apparent Julie Myers.
RELATED: If all of this weren’t bad enough, it looks like Katrina relief and rebuilding efforts are following Forman’s and ICE’s lead in the Gulf. In an equally disturbing story, today’s Wall Street Journal reports: “Undocumented workers are likely to be a major part of the massive cleanup and rebuilding.” Here’s another gem from the story: ” ‘They asked me where I wanted to go: to Houston, Atlanta, or back to Mexico,’ said Jose Luis Rivera, 39 years old and an undocumented construction worker from Veracruz, Mexico.”
Hint: “Undocumented worker” means illegal alien–illegal whether they are working for you and me, the relief efforts . . . and even Marcy Forman and the chieftains at ICE.

Earlier today, we today’s New York Daily News story claiming that Senator Susan Collins of Maine a hold on the nomination of to become Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security over ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
We were skeptical and :
But don’t get your hopes up about this nomination being tabled.
We doubted the story because we knew that Julie Myers and liberal Senator Collins had a , last week, announced in Thursday’s Congressional Quarterly.
Now a Collins staffer has confirmed that the NY Daily News story is a lie. In fact, as we wrote , Collins was NOT on her honeymoon but DID, in fact, meet with Myers on Friday.
The “hold” on her nomination was—-wishful thinking because, as a key Collins staffer stated, “Senator Collins met with Julie Myers on Friday and Ms. Myers was able to address some of her concerns.”
What about ICE agents’ concerns?!
