Robbery: Michigan GOP Changes Rules to Give Santorum Delegate to Romney

By Debbie Schlussel

The Mitt Romney “victory” in Michigan really wasn’t one.  It was a tie in terms of delegates.  The operant word here is “was.”  That’s because, last night, a few liberal Michigan Republican Party officials changed the rules last night in order to deny Rick Santorum a delegate he won fair and square.  Anytime anyone tells you that Santorum is “dirty,” remember this and ask yourself what isn’t dirty about this story, below, sent to me by former Michigan Republican State Senator Jack Hoogendyk, now a Congressional candidate.  And note as you read this that multi-millionaire Michigan Republican Chairman Bobby Schostak is actually a Clinton/Gore/Pelosi donor of big bucks, NOT a Republican, much less a conservative.  And also note that Saul Anuzis, when he was Michigan Republican Chairman, personally recruited an open Hezbollah supporter, Nasser Beydoun, to run for the U.S. Senate and told me in an e-mail, he would campaign and conduct “outreach” to Hezbollah supporters and seek their support for the GOP (all this while demanding that Ron Paul be kept out of the Presidential debates–I don’t like Paul or his views, but he deserves to be in debates). I give credit to the usually sleazy, pan-Muslim former Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox for finally locating a conscience and doing the right thing.

There has been some question as to what happens with the two “at-large” delegates from Tuesday’s primary election. Under the rules, two delegates were awarded to the candidate that won each district. There are 14 Congressional districts; Santorum won 7 and Romney won 7. So, they each received 14 delegates.

There are also two at-large delegates, which under the rules previously put in place, were to be awarded based on the split of the total vote. Using a mathematical formula, because the vote was so close, both Santorum and Romney were to receive one at-large delegate. Read the rest of this entry »

Your Day in Islamic Human Trafficking & Slave Trade

By Debbie Schlussel

Hey, it’s yet another example of the “peacefulness” and “dignity” of Islam.  There are tens of thousands of Filipino slaves kidnapped, trapped, tortured, raped, and even murdered by their masters throughout the Arab Muslim world.  In this case, it’s Filipinos who are the victims (even Muslim Filipinas), but I’ve written about so many others who’ve met the same fate at the hands of Muslim slave traders (including here and here):

Davy Jones, of Monkees Fame, RIP: Last Train to Clarksville Has Left the Station

By Debbie Schlussel

The “Last Train to Clarksville” has left the station.  Davy Jones, lead singer of The Monkees, died of a heart attack in Florida at age 66.  I will remember him for the famous episode of “The Brady Bunch”–“Getting Davy Jones“–in which he guest-starred.  I was just a baby when it originally aired, but I saw on TV re-runs after school in the ’80s.

Davy Jones (From My Monkees Card Collection)

In the late ’60s, a bunch of showbiz types put together what was a precursor to music videos:  a group of four photogenic guys who didn’t play instruments, but could sing and act in a cheesy musical comedy TV show, “The Monkees.”  And it worked for a few years.  Jones, Mickey Dolenz, Peter Tork, and Michael Nesmith were cast in the eponymous band.  I wasn’t alive when the show aired, but became familiar with the show through after-school re-runs and collectible “Monkees” cards my Aunt Geet gave to me (the scan above is from my collection).  The show–which generated a lot of hits and sold millions of records–was very politically incorrect, with The Monkees impersonating Arabs in keffiyehs (on several episodes), something they’d never get away with in post-9/11 Islamo-pandering America.  When I was in high school, I met Jones when I went back stage at a Detroit theater in which he was starring in a musical (I think it was “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”).  And he was a really charming guy.  I was surprised at how diminutive he was, and that apparently came in handy because he trained as a jockey before he became an actor and then singer.

I wonder if–and highly doubt that–Jones or any of the other Monkees would be successful pop singers today.  It was a different time in the late ’60s and early ’70s, and they quickly faded, doing guest appearances at smaller venues and on TV shows (without Nesmith, who shunned that and became a successful businessman, whose mother invented “Liquid Paper” correction fluid, something that now also seems of another era; he reportedly inherited the millions she made from it and didn’t have to remain a Monkee on tour).  Jones, himself, was the star of the group–something that made the other three jealous and caused a break-up. He went on to a briefly successful solo career and became a national heartthrob.  But America is fickle.  And he was relegated to late night TV infomercials hawking “golden oldies” CDs and small venues where post-middle age women would reminisce.  I’m sure that three marriages and families with two of his wives doesn’t help the finances, either. Oy Frickin’ Vey: Israeli Prez Shimon Peres on Yenta Hag-Fest, “The View”

By Debbie Schlussel

I’d like to know which teepshee [Hebrew for dummy] at Israel’s Ministry of Public Affairs agreed to book 89-year-old left-wing Israeli President Shimon Peres on ABC’s pro-Muslim yenta hag-fest, “The View,” this morning.

Shimon, Yasser & Baba: Three People “Dr.” Kevorkian Missed

There’s another Hebrew word I have in mind that the Israelis apparently did not:  hasbarah.  It has several meanings, primarily public relations or public diplomacy.  But it can also mean propaganda.  Peres’ appearance on “The View,” this morning did neither. Read the rest of this entry »

Hezbollah Endorses Ron Paul

By Debbie Schlussel

I’ve already told you about Ron Paul’s vote to continue U.S. aid  and funding to HAMAS.  And he also has the group’s Shi’ite counterpart, Hezbollah, on his side, too, just as he did when he ran for President in 2008.

As you know, today is Michigan’s Presidential Primary.  And, yesterday, Ron Paul made a special campaign appearance in Dearbornistan for a reason.  That’s where his Hezbollah-supporter Muslims have their highest concentration in America.  The Paul campaign passed out Arabic campaign literature. Apparently, the irony was lost on Ron Paul that the literature says in English, “Restore America Now,” and everything else on it is in Arabic. And the Hezbollah USA newspaper, the openly anti-Semitic Arab American News–owned by Hezbollah agent Osama Siblani, a close relative of top Al-Manar (Hezbollah TV) execs–endorsed Ron Paul. Shocker.  So did the Arab American PAC, a pro-Hezbollah, pro-HAMAS group which endorsed George W. Bush for President and which features an Islamic terrorist and a man convicted of odometer fraud  and several other crimes as its most prominent members. And Muslim “Republicans” have also given Paul their halal seal of jihadist approval.

Also endorsing Ron Paul is Tarek Baydoun, a calorically gifted lawyer who worked as a fundraiser for Hezbollah “charity,” Al-Mabarat Charitable Organization. Read the rest of this entry »

Why Should “The Rock’s” Daughter Get Affirmative Action Over Your Kid?

By Debbie Schlussel

Why should “The Rock’s” daughter get favored in college admissions over the kids of some poor, blue collar couple elsewhere in America? Why should she get preference over the average suburban White kid? Sadly, she will be likely be chosen over every White kid, whether it’s for college admissions or hiring or promotions in her future job.

With Affirmative Action, The Rock’s Daughter Gets Favored Over Your Kids Every Time

Fisher v. The University of Texas, a major affirmative action case dealing with race-based college admissions, is now before the U.S. Supreme Court. And I predict that, once again (as with every other affirmative action case that has come before them), the Justices will continue to favor race, gender, and ethnicity as a factor in admissions.  The problem is that, as reflected in their decisions, the Supremes always consider affirmative action as if it helps some struggling guy from the ghetto, whose mother is a crack whore, to get just a tiny leg up on an upper class White guy from the burbs.  Sadly, that’s not usually how it works.

In fact, the guy from the ghetto is almost never the favored one under affirmative action.  Instead, it’s a privileged minority kid from the burbs who gets chosen over the vastly more qualified, far more struggling white guy (or chick) from Appalachia or rural Texas or working-class Eastpointe, Michigan.  And the case is vividly illustrated with Simone Alexandra Johnson.  She’s  usually the archetype of the affirmative action candidate who gets admitted over a more qualified White student.

Johnson is the daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Dany Garcia, both multi-millionaires.  Right now she’s ten years old.  But in seven years or less, she’ll likely be applying to college.  And she’s not just a two-fer in affirmative action stakes, she’s a four-fer.  The Johnson daughter is female and half-Hispanic, 1/4th Black, 1/4th Samoan/Asian.  That means she starts off with four advantages in affirmative-action based college admissions preferences over everyone else. If you’re a White male, fuhgedaboutit. You just don’t stand a chance against her. Not because she’s the better candidate. It’s just about her luck of birth. Read the rest of this entry »

Alhamdillullah [Praise allah], “All-American Muslim” CANCELED!

By Debbie Schlussel

Uncork the champagne bottle!  “All-American Muslim,” the TLC propaganda show whitewashing several Shi’ite Muslim Hezbollah supporters in Dearbornistan, has been canceled.  I haven’t seen any local media stories.  But Shadia Amen, the calorically-gifted Muslima baby mama on the show (the one who got some Irish Catholic wuss to convert to Islam to marry her) has been telling people the halal gravy train is over.  She and her sister, propagandist and Islamic terrorism supporter, Suehaila Amen, just tweeted about it to all three of their pan-jihadist followers. The dull, uninteresting propaganda had low ratings. It was like an ant pissing on the sidewalk. No one notices and no one cares. This should show Islamo-pandering politicians and corporations that the bark of Muslims is much louder than the bite. They don’t have the influence their constant whining attempts to imply. They couldn’t even get enough people to watch a cable show on a low-tier channel, even with the controversy they tried to stir up.

So sad, too bad.  As I told you on this site, Suehaila Amen and the other Muslim participants on the show are not only Hezbollah and HAMAS supporters, but they openly supported the Iranian revolution that installed the Khomeini government and took many Americans hostage for 444 days they can never get back.  And Suehaila Amen not only works as a HAMAS CAIR “sensitivity training” BS consultant, she’s led HAMAS and Hezbollah rallies. I’m Voting for Rick Santorum in Tomorrow’s Michigan Primary

By Debbie Schlussel

I’ve received many inquiries, especially from Michigan-based readers and friends, asking for whom I’m voting in tomorrow’s Michigan Republican Presidential Primary.  I make no secret that I will be voting for Rick Santorum.  I’m voting for him because he is the most viable conservative alternative to Mitt Romney.  As we all know, Mitt happens.  But I don’t want Mitt to happen to be my only viable option against Barack Hussein Obama in November.

mitthappens.jpg

As I’ve written many times before on this site, I wasn’t that excited about any of the candidates running.  I was initially planning to vote for Michele Bachmann, who I thought was head and shoulders above the others.  But her campaign quickly fizzled.  Then, I was planning to hold my nose and vote for Newt Gingrich when he surged because I felt he was the best choice left, if not such a great choice at that. And he’d have kicked Barack Obama’s butt in any debate.  But Gingrich’s surge also fizzled, and now Santorum has surged.  If Gingrich was still surging, he’d get my vote. And I’ll admit that I was bothered that, when asked in an ABC debate whether or not he agreed with Newt Gingrich that the Palestinians are an invented “people,” he sided with Mitt Romney’s attack on Gingrich for this and refused to agree.  But, on Israel, foreign policy, domestic policy, and everything else, his voting record has been very good.  He’s a down-the-line conservative I can live with and trust to do the right thing.  I can’t say that about Mitt Romney.  And, unlike Romney, he doesn’t send millions to a church that then sends those millions to the largest HAMAS/Al-Qaeda charity . . . and then refuse to answer press questions about it, as Romney did and continues to do.  The Dodge might have been made in Detroit, but we don’t like dodgers.  Those are in L.A., and they can keep ’em. Ditto for Romneycare, statism at its worst that was copied by Obamacare Read the rest of this entry »

HAMAS, Qaeda & Obama On Same Side of Syrian Conflict, Backing Rebels

By Debbie Schlussel

HAMAS is now joining Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John McCain in backing the Syrian rebels against Bashar Assad.  We’ve seen this same scenario repeat itself in the Middle East several times before.  And each time, the HAMAS side prevails over the “winning” side, NOT America.  These American “leaders” are morons.  And they haven’t learned.  It’s like a giant echo chamber throughout the Middle East.  First, all of these morons backed the Egyptian “democracy” protesters.  Then, they backed the Libyan rebels.  In each case, the result was predictable and the same.  In Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood took over, and it’s more chaotic and repressive than ever under Western ally Mubarak.  In Libya, Al-Qaeda-tied extremists took over, and it’s more chaotic and repressive than ever under Qaddafi, with whom America had a no-nukes agreement and a detente.

obamasmiling.jpghillaryclinton.jpg

All of ‘Em on the Same Side as HAMAS’ Haniyeh in Syria

Now, we are doing the same thing again.  And it’s apparently not a “hint” that HAMAS is on the same side as “we” are.  This is the natural result of the Muslim world democracy and “free” elections pushed for eight years by George W. Bush and now realized with a lot of help from pressure by Barack Obama.  Both parties are to blame for this, and don’t think Mitt Romney would be any different.  He wouldn’t be.

Hamas has thrown its political clout behind an uprising against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the Palestinian Islamist group’s longtime patron and host, a shift that cracks a formidable alliance and further widens the Middle East’s sectarian divide.

Ismail Haniyeh, prime minister of Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, told worshipers at Cairo’s Al Azhar mosque during Friday prayers that the political party and militia was supporting the uprising against Mr. Assad, calling the revolutionaries “heroic,” according to the Associated Press.
