Commanderatrix in Chief: “Desperate Housewives” Pick a Prez

By
Everything is wrong with ABC’s new show, “Commander in Chief.”
It’s not just that the show about the first female President is a weekly hour-long campaign commercial for Hillary Clinton. It’s not just that conservatives are mean and evil on this propaganda hour.
It’s that this is what a female President will be like as brought to you by Oprah and the women of “Desperate Housewives”–and the legions of female fans who love them. Do you want them picking the leader of the free world?
I don’t.

Geena Davis: Aging Stripper, Failed Athlete, yes; President, NO.

Here’s why. Every presidential election year, Harvard’s Shorenstein Center conducts 26 polls. Each time, the school finds that women didn’t quite know what was going on. Men, on the other hand, were more likely, during the preceding day, to have thought about the elections, talked about it, and read or heard about it on the news.
The University of Pennsylvania Annenberg Public Policy Center does a similar set of polls and studies each presidential election year, conducted by two women professors. The results of these studies are even more disturbing. Out of 25 questions on policy issues, women lag behind the men on most of them. In 2000, women lagged behind men in knowledge of all policy issues but one (on which they were equal).
The men knew more about the Presidential candidates’ positions on taxes, weapons treaties, gun control, and even “traditional women’s issues”–healthcare, education, and abortion.
Sorry, but I don’t want “Thelma and Louise,” Star Jones, and the women of “Desperate Housewives” picking my President. Keep them out of the ballot box and busy whining, crying, and obsessing over a broken nail and the handsome plumber next door, instead.
The women voters in these surveys bested the men on one issue: They knew what Oprah wore on the previous day’s episode. Just kidding. But it’s a safe bet.
So, when Oprah’s “O” Magazine (via Marie Wilson of anti-male Ms. Foundation’s White House Project) calls a show, “riveting”–as it did “Commander in Chief”–you have to question the agenda of the show, and the numbed minds who watch her show that also propelled “Commander in Chief” to the top ratings spot for its debut.
Then, there is the show, itself. Was it a weird coincidence that the very first scene features children singing “America the Beautiful–IN FRENCH? It gets worse from there: a joke about how if women were running the show instead of Moses, the Jews would have asked for directions, and been in Israel in a week, instead of wandering the desert for forty years.
No, they’d have spent forty years searching the tent closet for the outfit of the day and asking, “Does this make me look fat?”
Of course, an anti-female joke on the level of the Moses joke would never make it on the air–without Gloria Steinem, Betty Friedan, and the whole gang of feminist hags bitching and clamoring for sensitivity training.
Then there are the evil Republicans. The Republican speaker of the House (played by Donald Sutherland) is described as “an S.O.B., a liar, and he cheats at poker.” His character is even more evil than that. The former personal secretary for the now-dead Republican President refuses to stay on with the female President, saying, “I’d feel cheap working for you.” Rude, mean, evil, gratuitously insulting. That’s the Republicans for you.
The actress playing the President, Geena Davis, wasn’t picked for the role by accident. Hillary Clinton, Madeleine Albright, and most other liberal women that have been mentioned in the role of President are hardly attractive–or even straight-looking. Davis was picked because she’s a former model and, unlike most women, she’s six feet tall. In heels, she’s taller than most of the male actors on the show. She looks commanding. By design. The women in real-life politics do not.
Davis, at age 48, had twin sons. Do you want a President who is busy nursing and raising twin boys? Someone would suffer–the American people.
And Davis’ politics are not far from your mind when watching the show. Geena Davis heads something called the “See Jane Foundation,” which promotes more female characters on television. What–there aren’t enough? From soap operas to “Desperate Housewives,” to “Oprah” to “America’s Next (Non)Top Model,” to “Sex & the City” syndicated re-runs, TV is dominated by women. The problem is that there aren’t enough men. And the men that are on TV (unless you count pro football) are incompetent, unemployed fools, absent dads, and loser criminals and drug users. Thanks, President Davis–having an estrogen fit–for not noticing.
Davis’ emasculated husband on the show is relegated to First Girlie Man–reminiscent of Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm’s wimpy husband, Dan Granholm Mulhern, who–yes–took his wife’s last name. Sad. Very sad.
Davis tried out for the U.S. Olympic Archery Team–and failed miserably. And, like all women who fail miserably at something, she joined the militant feminist movement as an activist and spokeswoman. As an honoree and member of the Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF), she has been outspoken in favor of Title IX–the federal law that feminist men-haters succeeded in using to drum men out of college and high school sports.
Donna Lopiano, a Davis friend and the WSF chief whom I debated on FOX Sports’ “Best Damn Sports Show Period,” supports absurd ideas like women coaching men’s pro sports. Get the analogy?: A woman coaching the New England Patriots is like . . . a woman coaching the Joint Chiefs of Staff as Commander-in-Chief.
We saw what a woman coaching the men did on this absurd Presidential TV show. The female President–for her first act as Prez–has our soldiers invade Nigeria and rescue a woman sentenced to death for adultery. Reality check: George W. Bush was President when the real-life Nigerian woman was sentenced to death. But hormones and PMS didn’t cause him to lose all grip and send the troops in to rescue the woman. He used diplomatic pressure, and the woman was spared–not kidnapped to the States like President Geena Davis did.
Either way, neither the TV female Prez–or the current real thing–saved the day. Women continue to face and receive these death sentences in Islam-dominated Nigeria and all over the Islamic world. The disposition of this one woman didn’t change that.
And hopefully, this one TV show won’t change the real-life political landscape of the White House.
But not if Hillary Clinton and her friends in Hollywood have it their way.

Bush Official’s Deaf, Hillary-Esque Mid-East “Listening” Tour

By
This week, Bush Administration official is on what she calls a “listening tour” of the Middle East (really, Muslim Middle East, since Israel is not on the tour) to improve OUR image with THEM. (Remember Hillary Clinton’s pre-Senate run “listening tour” of upstate New York? She was equally obtuse to the sounds of disdain for her.)
This pandering to those who hate us, must end. This pathetic display won’t make them hate us any less, or fear us more (which should be a U.S. objective).
For the rest of us–unlike the deaf Hughes and her Bush Administration compatriots, who still have our hearing intact–we don’t need a “listening tour.” We’ve already had ours. Four years ago, we listened to this sound and heard it loud and clear . . . .

Then we listened to this from all over the Islamic world . . . .

Palestinian woman on Ramallah street cheers 9/11 attacks.

No “listening tour” needed. We’ve heard enough!

Disgusting Holocash Business Continues for Trial Lawyers, Liberal Groups

By
Welcome to the Holocash business.
As the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors (plus my mother was born in Bergen Belsen camp), it is always annoying to read of the frequent gazillion-dollar settlements between trial lawyers–allegedly on behalf of Holocaust survivors–and companies, governments, etc. The money never goes to Holocaust survivors, but instead to the greedy lawyers who clogged the legal system with the suits–and worse, liberal Jewish groups to “distribute” the money to survivors. Right. Instead, the money to those Jewish groups often funds liberal, far-left, and even .
The latest case is the most outrageous. Why? Because the millions will come from us–the U.S. taxpayers. It gets worse. The U.S. government will also issue an apology on behalf of U.S. troops. Huh? The same U.S. troops who LIBERATED Holocaust survivors–including my grandparents? Yes, those same troops. Outrageous.
Yesterday, a federal judge in Miami approved a $25.5 million settlement between the U.S. government and Hungarian Jews whose valuables were stolen when a Nazi “Gold Train” was commandeered by the U.S. Army in 1945. The U.S. will also publicly apologize for pilfering by some U.S. troops.
Is it just me . . . or should the U.S. troops be celebrated for liberating concentration camp inmates, instead of having their government apologize for them on behalf of the misfeasance of a few?
Over the years, I’ve had so many Holocaust survivors contact me about how liberal politicians and Jewish “social service” professionals who are supposed to distribute settlement money to them, instead spend it on whatever chic liberal BS is in vogue at the time. Then they treat the survivors like criminals, when they dare ask for an accounting of what happened to the money from these multi-million dollar settlements. Don’t expect this to be any different.
Watch for the $25.5 million to go not to the Hungarian Holocaust survivors in whose name the suit was filed–but to a gazillion liberal Jewish professionals and their diversity programs, like .

Pander Bears: Abu Mosque-owitz & the Feds Suck Up at Hezbollah Mosque – PART I

By
A week ago, Saturday Night, I was at the Islamic House of Wisdom, a Hezbollah mosque, to see why our top Federal employees would hang out with Hezbollah’s hand-picked cleric, Imam Mohammed Ali Elahi, and his congregants–terrorism supporters (and funders). It wasn’t pretty. I didn’t see much wisdom, but I saw a ton of pandering.
Republican U.S. Attorney Stephen Murphy III (the Justice Dept.’s top official in the heart of Islamic America), Michigan FBI Special Agent in Charge Daniel Roberts, Michigan and Ohio ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) Special Agent in Charge (a/k/a “Abu Moskowitz”), and Carol Jennifer, head of Citizenship and Immigration Services, and Michael Moore’s favorite far-left Congressman, John Conyers (co-star of “”) all yukked it up with Hezbollah’s American Imam, Mohammed Ali Elahi. Also there: ICE Assistant Special Agent in Charge Michael “Mick” Hodzen (a/k/a “The Tool Belt Holder”).

U.S. Attorney Stephen Murphy & FBI SAIC Daniel Roberts

Kowtowing to the Hezbollah mosque’s Imam, Elahi–who was sent here from Iran by Hezbollah in 1991 to radicalize Shia mosques and somehow managed to stay after his 4-month visa expired–these officials (and their retinue of 9 additional ass-kissing federal agents in tow) joked around with Elahi about why Hezbollah would even be considered a terrorist group. How funny. I’m sure my friend–whose brother, , was tortured to death by Hezbollah on a hijacked plane–wouldn’t find it so funny.
Nor do I think anyone sane would like Elahi’s repeated comments (to the Feds’ enthusiastic applause) that, “What is going on South of Lebanon, is not terrorism. That’s resistance.”
So why are your federal officials–who are supposed to be fighting terrorists–hanging out with their U.S. representatives? Think I’m exaggerating? Look at the pics below of Imam Elahi and his FRIENDS. More on what I saw and heard from our federal officials at the Hezbollah mosque, later this week. First, absorb these interesting images . . . .
Imam Mohammed Ali Elahi & Hezbollah Spiritual Leader Sheikh Fadlallah

Imam Mohammed Ali Elahi & Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini
(Remember how Khomeini Held Americans Hostage?
Maybe Our Feds Forgot.)

Elahi & Iran’s Former Prez Khatami–Twice is Nice for Axis of Evil

Imam Mohammed Ali Elahi & Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan

Imam Mohammed Ali Elahi & Terrorist Syria’s Grand Mufti Ahmad Kuftaro
(whose Fatwas allow Hezbollah & Syria’s sundry terrorists to thrive)

WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE, WHO NEEDS ENEMIES? . . . .
Stay Tuned for Part II.

Flight Attendants Cite Schlussel in “Flight Plan” Boycott

By
The Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA), one of two unions of America’s flight attendants, is boycotting “Flight Plan,” and cited my in their message to all flight attendants.
Friday, September 23, APFA Hotline:
“Syndicated columnist Debbie Schlussel published a scathing review of the latest airline movie, “Flight Plan,” this week, berating the portrayals of a Flight Attendant and Federal Air Marshall as terrorists. She called this an outrage in the face of the heroism of Betty Ong and Amy Sweeney, whom she called heroes for calling ground crews, identifying hijackers rather than calling their own families to say good-bye. She also decried the portrayal of the other non-terrorist Flight Attendants as arrogant, cold, uncaring, lazy and rude.
APFA’s PR specialist, Lori Bassani, is quoted in the article saying, “The portrayal of flight attendants in this movie demonstrates an insensitive and flagrant disregard for the very real challenges facing the front line of defense (the flight attendants) on any aircraft in an emergency situation. Should there be another 9/11, it would be critical for the cabin crew to have the support of their passengers, not the distrust that this movie may engender. Our fellow crewmembers who perished in the line of duty deserve more respect.”
Schlussel calls for a boycott of this movie. We couldn’t agree more – boycott this film!”

Classy Lesbian Activist E-Mail of the Week

By
Looks like some lesbian activists are in competition with extremist Muslim activists to see who can send me the classiest e-mail. First, I got one from –extremist Muslim, Cal-State Fullerton journalism major, and reporter at the school’s Daily Titan newspaper–defending American Muslim leader , an extremist, terrorist supporter, and recent long-time chief of the extremist (ISNA).
Now, I got this one from Kathleen Green of the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center (LAGLC). We’re not saying that, just because Ms. Green works for the LAGLC, she is a lesbian. We’re simply saying that, given her choice of employers, it’s probably a pretty safe bet that she is a fan of the LPGA Dinah Shore Golf Classic, the Non-Star . . . er, All-Star Weekend, and “Xena Warrior Princess” syndicated re-runs.
Not that there’s anything wrong with it. . . . Oh, and by the way, speaking of the f-word, how would “she” know anything about that?

OY VEY! Not Dr. Phil AGAIN! . . . .on ABC News

By
Can somebody please fire Dr. Phil as CEO of Hurricane Counseling, Inc? The TV talk psychologist is, right now, on an ABC News Hurricane Rita special–giving advice to ABC News Anchor and HAMAS apologist Elizabeth Vargas. First, –and now this.
Somebody stop him. Please. And take him back to daytime where he belongs with HOprah, Soap opera-dom, and feminine hygiene products commercials. Remember, he has more important things to contemplate–like his equally annoying offspring son’s engagement to one of the Playboy Playmate Dahm Triplets–each a bigger moron than the next. Yes, sleaze runs in the family.

PLEASE SHUT UP!

Maybe daytime TV wouldn’t be a bad place for Vargas, either.
In case you forgot, Vargas started her climb to anchordom with the hosting of “20/20” and started off by giving a softball interview to , last fall. I guess compared to that, it’s not so bad to have Dr. Phil on an ABC News special. But we have to compare it to that extreme to excuse the annoying talk show host sleaze being on a NEWS show. Either way, she is a poor arbiter of interview subjects to glorify.

SCHLUSSEL COLUMNS GET RESULTS!: Unions Boycott “Flight Plan”; GOP Cancels Terror Supporter

By
Sometimes, even a little website, like mine, can make a difference:
* As a result of my on the outrageous Jodie Foster movie, “Flight Plan,” the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA)–the flight attendant’s union–is boycotting the movie, APFA spokeswoman and flight attendant Lori Bassani told me. Also as a result of my column, the Federal Air Marshals Association (FAMA) also has sent out mass e-mails calling for the boycott of this irresponsible, PC-mad movie.
* As a result of my about the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) hosting Islamic terror supporter, California Finance Director Tom Campbell, the RJC has replaced him as the speaker at their Southern California event. Glad to hear it.
2 FOR 2, Today. Makes it all worth it.

Me in Today’s WASHINGTON TIMES

By
My exposing Jodie Foster’s outrageous new movie, “Flight Plan,” was quoted/excerpted in today’s Washington Times in the “Inside Politics” column.
My thanks to columnist Greg Pierce who regularly pens the well-read (and well-written) column, excerpted here (SPOILER ALERT–do not read if you don’t want to know the plot of “Flight Plan”):
PC Villains
The bad guys in Jodie Foster’s new movie “Flight Plan” are a flight attendant and a federal air marshal, instead of the politically incorrect Arab villains.
The movie, which opens nationwide today, is “an outrageous piece of propaganda and incredible display of the irresponsible,” declares Debbie Schlussel. “If you’re a freedom-loving American like me, the rotten tricks of this movie will disgust you.”
At her blog (www.debbieschlussel.com) the Detroit-based columnist writes: “Throughout ‘Flight Plan,’ we are given hints — very strong hints — that four Muslim Arabs are the terrorists on the plane. … Instead, the terrorists are the flight’s air marshal and a flight attendant.
“That is an outrage for a number of reasons. Two of those reasons are Betty Ong and Madeleine Amy Sweeney. Both were among the many flight attendants who gave their lives on 9/11.
“They weren’t terrorists. They were American heroes. Instead of calling their families to say good-bye, they contacted ground crews and identified the hijackers. It was because of them that authorities were able to identify Mohamed Atta and his 18 thugs as al Qaeda.
“Other flight attendants were brutally murdered by the hijackers, who slit their throats.”
The film is also a “huge blow” to the image of federal air marshals, Miss Schlussel says.
“Is it more likely that a dedicated, patriotic American [air marshal] … would be a terrorist hijacker … or four suspicious-looking, strange-acting Arab Muslims? ‘Flight Plan’ wants you to think the former.”
Noting that Miss Foster “is set to play Nazi film propagandist Leni Riefenstahl in an upcoming movie,” Miss Schlussel asks: “And John Hinckley tried to murder a president to impress this woman?”

Your Taxes Pay For Radical Islamic Head Start?

By
I’m for more competition for federal Head Start grants. But not for the insertion of religion–especially radical Islam–into it, as a just-passed House bill will do (along with making the program more competitive).
I am a religious person, but oppose faith-based funding because I don’t want my or your tax dollars funding radical Islamic indoctrination of children in need. Do you?
Head Start is for indigent children from poorer neighborhoods who need a “Head Start” on life. That head start should not include learning about the attributes of jihad, the need to murder Christians and Jews, and why American infidels are evil. And if it does, our tax money should not fund it.
But, a House Bill passed yesterday will allow exactly that. A radical mosque in, say, Dearborn, Michigan, can apply for Head Start grants that you and I fund and use the money to hire only radical Muslim employees who will “educate” young, disadvantaged children with hate propaganda.

Extremist Muslim Imam/Faith-Based Funds Seeker Hassan Qazwini & Michigan Democrat Governatrix Jennifer “Gran-HO” Granholm

(the Nation’s 1st–and hopefully LAST–“Dating Game” Contestant Gov.)

That’s why, well before 9/11, I wrote of my opposition to faith-based funding. At that time, a radical Dearborn Shia imam, Hassan Qazwini, was invited by President Bush to the Crawford ranch to design the faith-based funding program.
I wrote about Qazwini’s mosque of hate in the Wall Street Journal and The Detroit News–and about Qazwini’s quest for faith-based funds to fund his hate here. And I don’t think we should be forced to fund his extremism. Let his friends in Iran and the Sunni Muslims’ friends in Saudi Arabia spend the money. Not our taxes.
